Footage Shows Bay Bridge Crash Survivor On Rocks Waiting For Help

WASHINGTON - Dramatic footage taken moments after a crash on the Bay Bridge sent a car into the water shows the woman who survived the fall clinging to rocks and waiting for help.

WTOP listener Scott Fortney says he was three cars behind Morgan Lake's Chrysler Sebring on Friday before Lake's car was struck by a tractor-trailer and knocked into the Chesapeake Bay 40 feet below.

They could take video of her but no one would go down to help her?!! What is wrong with people today?

They were about 40 feet above her with no way to get to her. A previous report said they were about 200 yards from the toll plaza. If someone would have jumped in to try to help her they would have probably been hurt worse then she was.

There aren't any ladders or means to climb down if that's what you meant.Wonder Woman was just fine waiting for help to arrive. To add to this amazing feat, her mother stated during interview "I did not even know she could swim"
