Economist Moore: Young People Getting 'Shafted' By Obamacare

Young Americans "are the people who get really shafted under Obamacare," economist Stephen Moore tells Newsmax TV.

"The joke is on them," Moore, a member of The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board, tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview. "And the amazing thing is that young people, in great percentages, voted for Obama over both John McCain and Mitt Romney.

Yes they were looking for a free ride. Democrats don't look to the future. They only look at today. They have no plans to pay their debts. They don't care. Look at Detroit. They voted for Democrats for 60 years and look what they have. This week is the 40th anniversary of the Watergate hearings. For those too young to remember, back then the administration had an enemies list. They were spying on reporters, and they used the IRS to harass groups they didn't like. Thank God history doesn't repeat itself? Anyone who votes for a Democrat is a moron.

Not here to argue the merits of the legislation, but it seems pretty obvious that those who supported Obama and the legislation likely possess a political mind frame that says "yes, it is right for younger folks to pay more if that takes care of the elderly/less fortunate". So really, no young folks are NOT "getting shafted". They are simply putting their money where their mouth is.
