Brett Beutler of Littleton wrote "I love you" on each of the little three-by-three-inch squares of paper and wallpapered them to the wall of girlfriend Megan Loosli's front room, Denver TV station KUSA reported.
He then spelled out "Will you marry me?" by pasting brightly-colored sticky notes over the top.

Another Government employee marriage proposal used up all the paper clips. Post It notes were all that was left.
