SPD posted this on facebook a few minutes ago. SUSPICIOUS PKG UPDATE: robot deployed & found pkg to contain a handheld drill. Area is being re-opened to normal traffic.

SPD has a DHS provided land drone?

There was a day that a normal person
would look at a tool box and think, there may be tools in there.
But now, liberal pansy's think everyone is out to get them.
Oh, it might be a bomb...
Please people, get real!

I think there should be a law passed against anyone who carries a Dewalt 12 volt drill without a permit. But, I'm only a democrat.

4:04...were you there? Do you know what made them suspicious about the package? No?? I didn't think so.

The keystone kops were out in force

I went by about 3:35 on my way to the vets and
"they" were out in force, hovering chopper and all. Were there a bomb, half the police force would have been blown up. Traffic was stopped from Smith street to Camden & the street was aligned with police vehicles.
BTW, love the remark about having to have a license to carry DeWalt.

If I had happened along all of this would have been avoided & I would have added another drill to my collection. My dog is a retired bomb sniffing dog.Had it been a bomb he would have signaled.
