That's like riding a tidal wave.
Laird Hamilton was among the best of all big wave riders, has been doing this for years. He has a video called "Riding Giants."
One huge wave I thought he had been swallowed by the white water tube, but in an instant he breezed out of the tube and surfed it out! I thought he'd end up dead.
