Just spent a week in the hospital in John Hopkins. I had to pay $15.00 a day for t.v. You have to pay to park. You have to call downstairs and order food if you want it or you don't get food. It's so different. I know that are in business to make money, but we had to put out quite a bit of money just for me to be in there.
My sister lives in Charlotte, NC
and is a registered nurse. She said that when you get ready to leave the hospital a representative comes and asks for co-payment before you even leave.
Don't get me wrong, I did have amazing care and they saved my life. I was just shocked by all the additional money they want. It's crazy.
