Jacksonville resident Christopher Scott Perry will spend the rest of his life in prison after allowing a registered sex offender to move into his home and molest his pre-teen daughter.
On Thursday a six-person jury convicted Perry of five counts of principal to sexual battery on a child younger than 12, a mandatory life offense, and single counts of molestation, child neglect with great bodily harm and conspiracy to commit sexual battery.
Perry looked down but otherwise remained expressionless as the verdict was read. Minutes later Circuit Judge Adrian Soud sentenced Perry to six life sentences to be served consecutively, as well as consecutive sentences of 30 and 15 years.

I cannot believe there is not more outrage to this story.
Have all of you become so jaded, so uncaring, so disinterested that you not longer care what happens to our children?
What a sad condition this country's compassion for others and moral outrage against obscenities has become.
I have become even more discouraged about societies future.
We are most definitely on a course for destruction based on our collective indifference, disregard for others well-being, JUSTICE, and lack of moral outrage.
I try to love my neighbor but it becomes more and more difficult to love people who have no decency in them.
The human race is becoming a 'cancer' on the face of this planet which needs God's cleansing. Post haste.
This is as sickening as incest itself.
What a horrible thing to do to a child.
