Baltimore is no stranger to speed cameras or red light cameras but could stop sign cameras be coming to the area too?
Washington D.C. will be installing 16 stop sign cameras by the end of the year and Maryland may be next.
D.C. is following the lead of California, where photo enforced stop signs have been raking in the dough.

How is it a tax? It is a fine for DISOBEYING the law. Maybe you or anyone else would like to offer alternative measures to babysit the people on the road that blatantly violate the rules and put peoples lives in jeopardy. I bet if someone ran a stop sign and killed one of your family members, changing your families life as you know it, you would think differently. I know. It happened to our family. There are no do-overs. All because people have become lazy and only think about themselves. They know that the likelihood of an officer happening to be around is slim. No fault of the officers....they are too busy babysitting the thugs that are living off of the government. In my opinion, anything that we can do to start getting people to start thinking twice about doing something stupid while driving is a good thing. Why wouldn't anyone? Of course, unless those that are opposed are the offenders.
Gee 8:00 must be a cop but a stupid one at that.. Cant you realize that cameras are taking away work from the police 8:00 your a cop you should be seeing that.. well cops arent that smart all the while you promote the very machines that you will eventually lose your jobs and put you in the umemployment line..
