MGM Opens Gaming Fight With $2.3M ante


Global gaming heavyweight MGM Resorts International is paying millions of dollars to a political action committee registered to lobby for the expansion of gaming in Maryland.

So far, MGM has paid at least $2.3 million to a group called For Maryland Jobs and Schools.

That amount appears to be a pittance compared to the annual revenue expected if voters approve plans for a casino in Prince George’s County.

This administration has really shown their incompetence on this one.Must be some heavy election contributions promised to hold a special session.
