I found him on Rt. 24 between the chicken plant and royal farms (between Longneck and Millsboro) today Wednesday the 8th around 12:30 pm. No tags, but on a verrrry long lead, yellow rope, a black leash and a chain. He is not neutered. Definitely male. Very friendly :)

What a sweetie!
Aww, what an adorable dog! I hope you find his owner!
I am in love.
Can anybody identify his breed? We have a 16 year old 'neighborhood' dog like him, but we don't know what kind she is.

It looks like a Beagle to me. They are known to pick up a scent and take off. They love to run.
What a great photo of an eager Beagle! Good Dog! Git them rabbits!
Beagles are good dogs. My sister has one. He's not real smart though. He keeps chasing a skunk. They live in Frederick in a development and their have a fenced yard.
Beagles are precious but their habit of "going hunting" can be a problem.
I love that face. :0
