WELCOME TO DOWNTOWN SALISBURY

If Mayor Ireton had his way about revitalizing Downtown Salisbury, the image above is just a perfect example of how things would look in about 5 more years.

Oh, it might look pretty going up but it will take no time at all before Code & Compliance would be dealing with the same junk.

The Mayor can't even keep the current housekeeping going. Its easy to SAY you have a vision but as this image proves, this Mayor couldn't care less about Downtown Salisbury.

Then again, maybe he's a lot like Fredericksen telling employees to continue to let things fall apart without repair so they can get MILLIONS of dollars to build new. The apple doesn't fall far from the Boss' tree.

Jim doesn't have the right equipment for the job.

Jim is done in this town. He was all talk and never came to the table with any original ideas. Next time someone runs and says they are a part time teacher/loafer we need to run the other way. Turning downtown into section 8 housing! Are you kidding me. This guy really is an idiot! Must be looking for the manority vote.

Can anyone say "Potters Field"?

He never would have won without the support of the majority of the council. He rode the election on the coat tails of Campbell, Cohen and Spies, only to bite the hands that fed him. Our own Benedict Arnold.

Yes! I've been saying that for a long time. Tear down the Center of Salisbury And make it a Central Park.

That sign's looking pretty historic itself.

The sign reflects how shabby Ireton and his gurus have let downtown become while thumping their chests for their "new" grand plans.

Anyone who thinks low income housing will attract more businesses to the Plaza is dead, from the neck up!
