If George Zimmerman is not arrested in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin soon, theRev. Al Sharpton will call for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions.
Sharpton would not say the efforts would be taken against the city of Sanford specifically, but he has been critical of the police department's handling of the case.
Saturday's scheduled 11 a.m. march from Crooms Academy of Information Technology to the Sanford Police Department headquarters was organized by National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Coordinators said people will be bused in from other states to participate.

This does not surprise me at all. It's just what Obama wants so he can declare Marshal Law. So, it gets down to it the police and military will have to make a decision to obey the President or the Constitution. Obama should tell Sharpton to back off before its to late.

How would any of you feel if Trayvon was your child. I understand his parents wanting an arrest. I also think others are using this to insight racial tension. They just need to arrest Zimmerman give everyone their day in court. Let any evidence come out there and those stirring this pot need to stand down.

You all sound just as racist as Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson with your them and us mentality. I don't understand why everyone feels the need to make it this way. A boy was killed a grown man killed him. He should have been arrested at the time and things should have progressed from there. If it was my child I would want justice too. Doesn't matter the color of the deceased or the shooter. There needs to be an arrest and court date. If it was my son and things were going this way I would be looking for all the help I could too.

I think it is ridiculous to say that because someone was killed there should be an arrest & court. That makes the assumption there was wrong doing on the part of the shooter. this has been turned into a racist matter when there was no need..and yes, Obama should have kept his mouth shut...I didn't vote for him last time & I won't vote for him this time....
638, you can't arrest someone who did not break a law. If a charge were to be made by the boy's parents, then a court date would be issued, not an arrest.
638, Dear bleeding heart liberal: The police put Zimmerman in cuffs and took him to the police station and questioned him. The witness and phone conversations indicated there wasn't enough evidence to arrest him, for self defense. If more evidence comes in to indicate he should be arrested, I'm sure they will. After all the national outcry, and no arrest, there must not be enough to arrest him and charge him with anything -- i.e. self defense. Where were you in 2007 when two kids were raped, tortured and killed by five blacks in Tennessee? Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian? Look it up on the internet! Where was the national outrage?? They were left in trash cans!! Bodies Multilated! Where was Sharpton or Jackson? Answer: nowhere to be found. And, as of 12/1/11, they are getting new trials???? 6:38, How does coming to the defense of a man who shot someone, it was investigated (a month ago), and charges were not filed, citing self defense, which was corroborated with evidence and witness statements make someone as racist as Jackson and Sharpton?
If Zimmerman were a black man everyone knows this wouldn't be an issue. Those calling for the arrest of a man who broke no laws and the attention only being because he is white, are the racists.
media is responsible. headline should have read, youth fatally shot by whomever. charges may be ...pending after further investigation. but no, he was branded a killer from the start. "white hispanic kills black youth" implies the killing was intentional setting the stage for this cluster f*** that's going on now.
