Child Reunited With Lost Cat

Joe,

The owner of the missing/found cat just came by to pick him up. The cat's name is Stripey. His owner is a little girl who was hysterically happy to have him back.

Judging by how the cat came running and purring, he was happy to go home. Thanks to your reader Sharon who spotted Stripey on the blog and the flyer and put the two together.

Great results!

Bless her little heart. I know how upset I'd be if one of my feline children were missing.

@7:59: i have 3 indoor cats, 1 of which will take any and all opportunities to slip outside at any hint of an opportunity. we try (hard) not to let him get out as we live on a busy road. we are not perfect. and he is very slick.

YAY FOR STRIPEY! glad he has a family who loves him and glad they have people in the area who cared for him while he was missing :)

Cathy, I got the same trouble with my oldest male. He was found by us as stray and running the streets over 10 yrs ago and every once in awhile he will slip out. Just the other day I looked outside and he was roaming around just getting ready to go around the other side of the house. He got out while I was hauling in groceries unnoticed.
