SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- The Spartanburg County Sheriff is known for speaking his mind, and at a news conference on Monday, he didn't hold back his anger and frustration after a woman was attacked in a park over the weekend.
Investigators said 46-year-old Walter Lance grabbed a woman who was walking her dog in Milliken Park on Sunday afternoon. They said Lance choked the woman, made her take off her clothing and tried to rape her. (Full Story)

Yessireebob. He is absolutely correct. I am glad someone in law enforcement has finally found the balls to say what we have already known for years. Get a weapon. Use it. No more repeat offenders. I wish we had a sheriff like this one.
Talk about freeing up Jail space! If you could defend yourself with a weapon with no repercussions crime would go way down. Trouble with our system is the criminal has more rights than the law abiding citizen. Carry permits in Maryland are impossible for an average citizen to obtain if you don't think so try to get one.
Time for Salisbury especially, to adopt this philosophy!

Which is why I like how some of the other states whom have one, are talking with other states to ,get theirs be allowed in other states...
It would be awesome to have a all-in-one type of carry permit for all states...
Would have been fantastic if she had been able to remove a gun from her handbag and blew the ass---- out of this world. She is safe, no need for a prison cell and all the costs of one.
