Female Kicker Tries Out For Virginia Tech

Frank Beamer probably thought he'd seen it all in his quarter-century tenure at Virginia Tech ... until Monday. A female kicker, Lauren Luttrell, tried out for Virginia Tech's football team and performed so well that Beamer decided to invite the freshman back to kick in spring practice. "Right now it's kind of tough to come out there and get a lot of attention. Things are happening so fast right now," Beamer said. "But I was impressed with her and we'll bring her back out there in the spring."

If she can do it let her kick but don't lower the standards to get into the record books.

Thank you 3:51....when she drops the ball and two linebackers DRILL her into next week, will there then be a "special" rule made for her? You want to play a man's game? Man up and be ready for whats coming. Guaranteed SOMEONE wants to be the guy who makes her leave football. They let 5'3", 100lb women be cops (what a joke that is), so give her a shot (no pun intended). She will never last.
