Annapolis Bar Cited For Serving Teen Who Died

Annapolis police cited a downtown bar yesterday with four counts of serving underage customers following an investigation into last month’s double-fatal motorcycle accident on King George Street.

The four counts cite Acme Bar and Grill at 163 Main St. with serving four underage women, including 19-year-old Kelcey Silva, who was killed in the high-speed wreck in the early morning hours of June 16.

“Our detectives, through interviews and other means, have established that the four females entered the establishment on the night of June 15 and were served in violation of city alcohol control rules and regulations,” Chief Michael Pristoop said.
“One of those females left the bar and was soon involved in the fatal accident on King George Street around 1 a.m.,” Pristoop said.
