PUBLIC NOTICE

CHANGE TO WORK SESSION AGENDA

The agenda for today’s Salisbury City Council work session at 3:30 p.m. (Room 306 in the City/County Government Building, 125 N. Division St.) will be modified to include a discussion of possible amendments to the budget as the result of late-breaking developments that could affect agreed upon cuts and other decisions of the council made during its budget deliberations. Due to the time sensitivity of these matters, as well as that of other items on the agenda, the Tenants’ Rights Addendum will be moved to a later meeting. The council apologizes for any inconvenience.

First the mayor doesn't advertise the public hearing, messes up the schedule, now last-minute problems? Then there was Shanie Shields breaking her word. Did the mayor offer her something special?

Add up all this and something smells real bad. If it hadn't been for Salisbury News, none of us would have had a clue.
