It was cool to see. Reminded me of Cape Canaveral (as they called it then). I was in Florida, inland some but we could still see the amazing sight. I watched this tonite about 50 miles from Wallops.
we drove down there last night to watch the launch. 1st one we've seen. we were about 1.5 miles away with a crystal clear view of the launch pad. awesome beyond words!

Very cool to see. Two minutes later, it is going 14,000 miles per hour and is no longer visible. Just wow.

Visible part way through stage I until stage III from Virginia Beach. Very cool moving ball of light given the implications.
salisbury is 50 miles from wallops
Can see it from our driveway. Very neat.
I watched from out driveway in Salisbury. I went outside as soon as it launched. It was a truly amazing sight.
