Palin: 'I'm Engaged In The Internal Deliberations' For 2012 Run

The inner circle of Sarah Palin’s political organization is notoriously difficult to crack, but in an over-7500-word piece in the New York Times Magazine posted online Wednesday, Robert Draper offers a rare glimpse into Palin-land – as well as buzzy quotes from an hour-long interview with the former Alaska gov.
In the key excerpt ricocheting around the media today, Palin gives a clear indication that she is seriously mulling a 2012 run:
“I am,” Sarah Palin told me the next day when I asked her if she was already weighing a run for president. “I’m engaged in the internal deliberations candidly, and having that discussion with my family, because my family is the most important consideration here.” Palin went on to say that there weren’t meaningful differences in policy among the field of G.O.P. hopefuls “but that in fact there’s more to the presidency than that” and that her decision would involve evaluating whether she could bring unique qualities to the table.

Don't vote for anyone, Rep. or Dem., who doesn't take the time to actually study the issues in-depth.

Palin has a proven track record in Alaska and was extremely popular and successful. I'll take action over talk !

I felt like they were doing thie Sarah Palin's Alaska series for a reason and it looks like I had it right. They're doing it to give everyone an "insight" to who Sarah Palin really is.
What a crock! Everyone is different when the cameras are rolling in a "reality" show.
Go ahead and make her your candidate Rep. party - you'll all look like fools when she LOSES!

I want Deb Campbell to run with Sarah Palin. Two gorgeous women like them could certainly hold your attention. They have my vote for sure.

"Internal deliberations"

Boy, has she ever succumbed to politician-speak. She could have just said, "My family and I are talking it over now."

What's next? "I'm evaluating the options for ensuring my advisers are well prepared for the stress and challenges that lie ahead"?

Translation: I'm shopping and trying to figure out what to fix the family for dinner tonight.

Good grief, does Sarah Palin really think she's Presidential material? (Of course, the current President wasn't either when he ran--and still isn't). After the takeover of the House, which gave all Republicans hope, we're not going to sit back and let Palin become the nominee, I hope.

Obama would love to run against Palin.

Palin would be waaaaaay better than the dope we have now!

If we (I am going to assume everyone is a Republican) send Palin against Obama we will be most likely be stuck with four more years of this man. On the other hand, if she does manage to beat him we are stuck with Sarah Palin. There has to be something better than this!

1:45 Who looks like the fools now !

2:28 according to Palin's own words, we would be at war with Russia over the Georgia conflict, there would be an open ended war in both Iraq and Afghanistan, the deficit would continue to climb as the Bush tax cuts became permanent but little was done to curve debt (besides nipping at the edges by going after food stamps and public housing) and God only knows what other catastrophe's would pop off since this woman refuses to aknowledge facts and rather go with catchy slogans.

That picture just struck me.

If her hairdo was a little shorter, it would be 1964 all over again!

Sigh, I miss all those girls with "the flip"!

I will vote for anyone that runs against Obummer. Pick someone at random from the phone book, they would have to be better. Dummycrats have just insured another GOP victory by keeping Pelosi and Ried as leaders.

3:49 Way to create your own facts and quotes.

3:49 You stoop to lying about Palin and you give Obama a pass on trying to make us like China sorry I don't want to be a slave of the government!

Palin is such a refreshing personality in politics. Look at who you have now: Hillary, Rangle, Obama, Reid, Hoyer, and Pelosi. Is that what some of you set the standard by? What "experience" has Hillary achieved? Give the Palestinians $150M and ask them to pay Bill for an appearance (so she can pay her campaign debt)?

Isn't it interesting how Pelosi and Hoyer avoided giving a black the opportunity to run for "minority" speaker?

She served half of a term as Alaska governor after being the mayor of Wasilla, and now has an approval rating in the 20's. Those are just facts. I don't see how that rates as a proven track record, popular and succesful.

HAHAHAHA... she is sooooo funny to think she would win! If the President was only in charge of Alaska then maybe she would stand a chance. She is a joke with no knowledge of the world.

Palin as the Republican nominee would had the presidency to Obama. Remember Dole in 1996.

In office she had an approval rating in the 90's that's unheard of. After the Democrats sued her with frivolous law suits she had to quit in order to raise money to pay for defending herself all of which she was found completely innocent. It's always about attacking a women when it comes to weak little insecure liberals.

Her success in supporting winning candidates was extraordinary if she was so unpopular that wouldn't have happened but then again your poll was from the huffington post.Humm Why would the Democrats be polling someone who doesn't hold an office? FEAR!
