Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast Benefitting the Parkside High PTA

Support the Parkside High School PTA at an all-you-can-eat Applebee’s Pancake Fund-raiser Breakfast from 8 -10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18. Tickets are $6 per person for all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and beverage (coffee, orange juice, soda and tea). The breakfast will be served at the North Salisbury Applebee’s. 410-677-5143

AYCE Crab and BBQ Feast
Benefiting The Friends of Mardela High School

An All You Can Eat Crab and BBQ Feast to benefit The Friends of Mardela High School will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Hebron Fire Hall. Dinner 5-7 p.m., loud/silent auction 7-8 p.m., dance 8 p.m.-midnight. Bring your own mallet and crab knife. Tickets $30 per person, sold in advance only. No one under age 21 permitted. This event will help The Friends of Mardela High School provide and support student academic incentives, technology, field trips, assemblies and more. National Honor Society Yard Sale Wicomico High School Auditorium

The Wicomico High School chapter of the National Honor Society will have a yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 2 in the Auditorium lobby from 6-11 a.m. The money raised from this sale of donated items is used to purchase toys for the Salvation Army Christmas stockings. 410-677-5146

Support the WiHi Boys & Girls Soccer Teams at an all-you-can-eat Applebee’s Pancake Fund-raiser Breakfast from 8 -10 a.m. October 2nd. Tickets are $6 per person for all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and beverage (coffee, orange juice, soda and tea). The breakfast will be served at the North Salisbury Applebee’s by members of the 2010 Wicomico High Boys & Girls Soccer Teams. Commemorative JMB T-Shirts

The Junior Class of James M. Bennett High School will be selling T-shirts commemorating the new Bennett. The shirts are $15 for sizes small-XL and $17 for sizes XXLarge and XXXLarge. Oh grow up you two! This has nothing to do with taxes! You act like teachers are robbing the community blind. My wife and I pay the same taxes all of you do, we have no kids in the school system, and we have no affiliation with it other than living in the community. Have you idiots ever stopped to think that the school system employees pay the same taxes we all do? here is more food for thought, if the schools are not successful in producing a responsible, law and tax abiding populace, then the only alternative to failure in this regard is CRIME! Shut up already, and deal with life like the rest of us!
