Bob Dole Endorses Christine O’Donnell

Not only did he endorse her, he did it from his hospital bed at Walter Reed. And then he sent her the maximum possible donation allowable under law.

"Christine O’Donnell’s message resonated with the voters, and to the surprise of many she defeated Congressman Mike Castle, who many of us thought would win. The primary is over and in my opinion it is time for voters to join hands and support Christine O’Donnell. The Delaware seat is important and the winner in November could well determine whether Republicans or Democrats control the Senate.

"I find many of the attacks on O’Donnell to be personal and lacking in balance and fairness. If her campaign wishes I am willing to assist in a limited way since I am still a patient at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I will have surgery Monday, September 27."

Ha, did he say the same about attacks on Obama. Like his politics or not, Obama has been the subject of the most visceral attack machine we've seen since the start of the 24 hour news cycle.

3:02 Obama is criticized as he should be ,when you race bait and force your will upon an unwilling people you tend to be unpopular.

6:36, what are you smoking?

While the media played up on the "first black president" narrative (as they should have), Obama constantly stated that race was not an issue. And his agenda has been far from race based (most recent example: modifications to HBCU grant funding to make them compete with majority schools for funds).

And force will? Maybe you were sleep when on every debate he described seeking a healthcare program similar to what we have today. This was apart of the reason why people voted for him. It's crazy that Bush's stubborness to stay on track in the face of sagging polls was seen as stout leadership. Now the same trait in this pres. is oppression? You guys are hilarious!

Dole's comments show class. I can't say that about some of the others I see here nor from Castle.
