As a non-incumbent, Mr. Baker is running for Wicomico County Executive.

He is straight forward and will fight for what is right.
I've known John for almost 40 years . And have great respect for him .
He's a Democrat but he's a fiscal conservative as well which is what we need .
He has a military background so that tells me right there that he knows what leadership is. A military person knows that a true leader rolls up his sleeves and gets right down in the trenches to get things done properly. They know that there is no I in team. They are hands down trained to be hands on and will do anything to protect their troop.
I met John years ago when he had just gotten out of the marines. He has always been a great guy. He was then and i believe still is a very humble person, very down to earth. He doesn't live the extravagant life style that most politicians trying to what they are not.
does anyone know if he has any business experience? this is important as we need someone that understands how to "balance" a budget. sounds like he has some leadership skills as this is important as well. please someone help us to know him better......
