That is so sad. Hope they will both be ok and have a full recovery.
I can't believe motorcycles are even legal with your whole body exposed to moving vehicles all around you and getting ejected like a projectile on some type of impact. If it is so important for motor vehicle drivers to wear a seat belt which is the law, how could anyone justify it is safe to ride a motorcycle on the road when you are so vulnerable to things. I never understood that. You couldn't pay me to ride a motorcycle even if you bought me the most expensive top of the line model. Just the mere thought of losing a limb and getting my skin burned off is enough to deter me.

First of all my heart goes out to their families. I will prayer for their recovery.

Now, about motorcycles being not legal. Get a grip!!!! I feel there should be proper equipment use (helmet, etc), but to say to make them illegal is plain crazy. If you have ever been on a motorcycle you would know the freedom and sense of adventure it gives you. People just need to use better judgement sometimes when riding!!! AND MOST OF ALL other vehicles need to watch out for them. ACCIDENTS HAPPEN!!!!!!!
