Unwrap the Magic Of Broadway In Salisbury!

Individual Tickets to Hairspray, Cabaret and Annie Available Until December 20

(Salisbury, MD) The 2009-2010 Broadway in Salisbury season will continue into the New Year, bringing three official Broadway road show productions to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center stage. The remaining productions include Hairspray, Cabaret and Annie. Just in time for the holidays, and for a limited time only, individual tickets for Broadway in Salisbury shows are on sale now. The people of Salisbury will be swept away to 1960s Baltimore in the international smash-hit musical Hairspray. Piled bouffant-high with laughter and romance – and enough deliriously tuneful songs to fill a nonstop platter party Hairspray will be live on stage in living color on Wednesday, January 6 at 7:30pm. Baltimore's Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion—to dance.

The Broadway in Salisbury season continues on Saturday, February 6 at 8:00pm with Cabaret. “Wilkommen!, Bienvenue!, Welcome!” sings the Emcee of the Kit Kat Club through painted lips, as the people of 1929 Berlin join him. Whatever your troubles, you will forget them at the Cabaret, which will come to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center stage on Saturday, February 6 at 8:00pm. Cabaret is the winner of 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Revival.
Leapin’ Lizards! America’s most beloved musical, Annie, is back in its 30th anniversary tour, giving a whole new generation the chance to experience this classic musical about never giving up hope. The timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie will be coming to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center for one performance only on Friday, March 12 at 7:30pm. Boasting one of Broadway’s most memorable scores, including “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “N.Y.C.” and the ever optimistic “Tomorrow,” you can bet your bottom dollar that Annie will bring a smile to your face.

Individual tickets for each show range from $33 to $68 and can be purchased online at www.BroadwayinSalisbury.com, by phone at 410-548-4911 or in person at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office (500 Glen Avenue). Give the gift of Broadway this holiday season, but hurry as the limited time on-sale for Hairspray, Cabaret and Annie tickets will end Sunday, December 20.
