Michael W. Smith’s “New Hallelujah World Tour” stops at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center this Week on October 29th

Grammy winning Michael W. Smith is bringing his “New Hallelujah World Tour” to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center stage this Thursday, October 29th at 7:00pm. Joining Smith onstage will be musical missionary Matt Maher, American Idol season six Top 5 finalist Phil Stacey and Meredith Andrews who was recently named Christian music’s most promising new artist by Billboard magazine.

Tickets for the “New Hallelujah World Tour” are on sale now and range from $20-$30 plus fees. Tickets are available online at www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org, by phone at 410-548-4911 or in person at the Civic Center Box Office (open Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm).

The tour includes music from Smith’s award winning A New Hallelujah album and A New Hallelujah—The Live Worship DVD. The album was recorded live at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX with a 250-voice choir and more than 12,000 people in attendance.

Throughout his 25-year career as a recording artist, Michael W. Smith has amassed an impressive catalog of achievements. His 21 albums have garnered multiple honors including an American Music Award, three GRAMMY Awards (13 nominations), 44 GMA Dove Awards and 33 No. 1 radio hits. In addition, he holds 16 Gold and five platinum albums for career sales approaching 15 million.

As I understand it, the second half of this show will be done with LOCAL choir talent (individuals made up from several local choirs) singing with him.
Rehearsals were awesome!
