Fruitland Police Department Press Relases

Case #: 08-2862

On 10/17/08, officers investigated the forgery and uttering of a subsequent prescription which was presented at Apple Drug. The prescription was determined to have been stolen from a local physician’s office, forged using a fictitious name and filled to obtain a schedule II narcotic from Apple Drug. Further investigation resulted in the identification of the following:

Arrested: Christina Lynn Long, 29 yoa
Princess Anne, MD

Charges: Forgery of a prescription to obtain a Schedule II narcotic
Uttering a prescription to obtain a Schedule II narcotic
Fraud

Disposition: Released to Central Booking



Case#: 08-2634

On September 23, 2008, officers responded to a burglary at Cars Plus where entry was gained through a shattered window. Upon inspection of the business it was discovered that a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from the lot. Later this date, the Maryland State Police attempted to stop this vehicle near Easton when the driver fled on foot. Further investigation resulted in the identification of the driver who has been charged by both police agencies for various offenses related to these incidents.

Arrested: Malachi Tallington, 18 yoa
Chestertown, MD

Charges: Burglary
Theft > $500
Rogue and Vagabond
Malicious Destruction of Property

Disposition: Held on $5000 bond

Didnt I see the name Christina Long here,in the police report,just a week or two ago for the SAME damn offense?She had allegedly stolen RX blanks from Dr.Reillys office and passed them at an area drugstore.Apparently they released her right away.These are the kind of people who should be sent to rehab or they will keep re-offending!
