One year ago Citizens met at Dove Pointe with the property owners of the Old Mall to discuss the future of what they'll be delivering.
To date, the Mall is coming down faster than even I could believe, yet the future is extremely rocky with a major player backing out of developing the property. The future of this property is really up in the air at this point and no one seems to want to touch on what the future holds?
Those Damn Dirty Dozen People! I'm sure Barrie is now blaming them for this whole mess. LOL

That's the second meeting they had. The first was jam packed. The Dirty Dozen x 10.

We're all glad the eyesore is gone. Could've been gone a lot sooner if the mayor had enforced the law.
But...
Of course the mayor is blaming them. Those "nasty" people delayed the ILLEGAL rezoning.
So the delay making the builder pull out is all THEIR fault.
(What I heard was that the developer didn't file their plans or something.)
