Before I get bombarded with e-mail, no, they did not have to use ANY kind of force on this man. Once he realized how many cars were on their way, (we could hear the sirens) he knew he better keep his cool. However, before the sirens went off, (IMO) this guy would have fought back in a heart beat.

The man did confirm he was homeless.
