Sailors and Firemen.

It tells the truth, by a woman who has given the supreme sacrifice, her son.
'THE SALTY SAILOR' and the 'FIREMAN'.

Read this once, pause for a minute or two to think honestly about it, then read it again. I can find no fault with it...

The views this mother has about Donald Trump are much like many other people. Her characterization of President Trump as the "Salty Sailor" or, as “The Fireman,” paint an excellent picture!! She has written many great books about her son and family. This is a comment from KAREN VAUGHN, mother of Aaron Vaughn, U. S. Navy Seal.

"Sometimes God uses the no-nonsense, salty sailor to get the job done. Appreciating what the man is doing doesn't mean we worship the salty sailor or even desire to be like the salty sailor. It doesn't even mean God admires the salty sailor. Maybe 'He' just knows he's necessary for such a time as this.

I believe with all my heart that God placed that salty sailor in the White House to give this nation one more chance in November 2020. Donald Trump is what he is – and he is still the man he was before the election – and without guilt. I very much admire what that 'salty sailor' is accomplishing.

He's not like me. That's 'Okay' with me. I don't want to be like him. I will never behave like him. I know we've NEVER had a man like him lead our nation before. It's crazy and a little mind-blowing at times, but I can't help admire the stamina and ability he has – acting with his heart rather than a calculated, PC, think tank-screened, carefully edited script. I still believe that is' WHY' he became our President and 'WHY' he's been able to handle a landslide of adversity and STILL pass unprecedented amounts of good
legislation for our country AND do great works for MANY other nations, including Israel.

I'm 'THRILLED' with what he's doing for my nation, for the cause of Christ (whether intentional or unintentional, doesn't matter to me), and for the concept of rebuilding America and putting her FIRST. I will not be ashamed of my position because others don't see him through the same lens.

Should it matter to me if, a fireman drops an f-bomb while he's pulling me from a burning building? Would I really care about what came out of his mouth in those moments? Heck no! I'd CARE about what he was DOING. He wasn't sent there to save my soul and I'm not looking to him for spiritual guidance. All I'm thinking in those moments is, "Thank you, GOD, for sending the fireman." AND DONALD TRUMP IS 'OUR FIREMAN'.

I'll soon post this article again for those who still might not understand me. This man is crass. 'Okay.' He's not careful with what he says. 'Okay.' You feel offended that he's not a typical statesman. 'Okay.' But he is DOING THE JOB of rebuilding the nation my son died for...the nation I feared was on a fast track to becoming a hopeless cause.

"Forgive me if I'm smiling."

Burger King claims it NEVER said its Impossible Whoppers were vegan after chain is sued for cooking plant-based patties on same grills as meat

Burger King is claiming it never advertised its 'Impossible Whopper' as vegan after a customer sued the company for cooking the plant-based pattie on the same grill as meat burgers.

The company claims it was open about the way its plant-based burger was cooked and that the customer's claim 'has no basis'.

A vegan customer sued the fast-food chain in November saying he was 'duped' into buying the Impossible Whopper at a premium price.

The customer is seeking damages on behalf of all U.S. consumers who bought it.

Texas mother trying to transition her seven-year-old son into a girl loses in court as judge orders her to share custody with ex-husband who says boy is just 'confused'

A mother from Texas who was attempting to medically transition her seven-year-old son into a girl has lost a court case.

Dr. Anne Georgulas, who is the mother of James Younger, originally won her previous court case last October that allow her to give him hormones that block puberty.

But the decision by the jury meant the boy's father, Jeff Younger, who opposed such a procedure, had absolutely no say in his son's medical decisions.

Now that ruling has been overturned after Dallas Judge Mary Brown ruled on Thursday that both parents should have joint conservatorship over their child which would mean all decisions would have to be agreed upon by both parents.

Clapping for victory! Ted Cruz appears to mock Nancy Pelosi's famous handclap as Republicans vote against witnesses and effectively end Donald Trump's impeachment trial

Ted Cruz appeared to mock Nancy Pelosi's infamous handclap on the floor of the Senate Friday after 51 Republicans voted against calling witnesses in President Trump's impeachment trial - effectively ending Democrat's attempts to remove him from office.

The Texas senator, 49, was seen mimicking the clap as he spoke with other Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, before the vote was called around 5 pm.

Last year, Speaker Pelosi 'condescendingly' clapped her hands at President Trump following his State Of The Union address - a move which sparked international headlines and a flurry of memes.

On Friday, Cruz's imitation of the distinct gesture quickly went viral on Twitter, where it divided users.

Democrats Vow Trump Probes to Go On After Impeachment Trial Ends

President Donald Trump’s scrutiny by Congress won’t end with his expected acquittal in the Senate. House Democrats have a list of inquiries they plan to pursue when the impeachment saga is over.

“The investigations and oversight will continue,” said Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York, head of the Oversight and Reform Committee, the lead investigative panel in the House. “We’ve got several cases.”

Democrat-led committees in the House will keep seeking a wide range of evidence and testimony as they look into Trump’s administration, his policies and his businesses and finances. They also plan to keep a focus on his conduct in dealing with Ukraine.

In addition, there are multiple court cases running on separate tracks seeking access to his tax returns, testimony from former White House officials and financial records to show whether the president is unlawfully profiting from foreign governments. Three of the cases will be considered by the U.S. Supreme Court in the spring.

This all will be occurring [of course] in the middle of a election campaign in which both parties will be fighting for control of the White House and both chambers of Congress.

China slams Trump's coronavirus travel limits: 'Not a gesture of goodwill'

China’s death toll from a new virus rose to 259 on Saturday and a World Health Organization official said other governments need to prepare for“domestic outbreak control” if the disease spreads in their countries.

Beijing criticized Washington’s order barring entry to most foreigners who visited China in the past two weeks.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced similar measures on Saturday, following Japan and Singapore.

Meanwhile, South Korea and India flew hundreds of their citizens out of Wuhan, the city at the center of an area where some 50 million people are prevented from leaving in a sweeping anti-virus effort. The evacuees went into a two-week quarantine. Indonesia also sent a plane.

On Friday, the United States declared a public health emergency and President Donald Trump signed an order barring entry to foreign nationals, other than immediate family of American citizens and permanent residents, who visited China within the last 14 days, which scientists say is the virus’s longest incubation period.

China criticized the U.S. controls, which it said contradicted the WHO’s appeal to avoid travel bans, and “unfriendly comments” that Beijing was failing to cooperate.

Virginia Democrat embarrasses himself while trying to define assault weapons at town hall

Virginia Democratic Del. Mark Levine held a town hall last weekend, during which he was asked to define what guns he was seeking to outlaw with a proposed assault weapons ban. His answer had audience members laughing at his obvious lack of knowledge about firearms, according to the Washington Examiner.

Levine said his legislation was aimed specifically at reducing the frequency of mass shootings. Hunters, Levine said, prefer to use bolt action rifles. People who simply want a gun for self-defense should prefer a shotgun or a pistol. So he's not attempting to ban those.

"Mass shooters use guns that go like this," Levine said, as he waved an imaginary gun back and forth, spraying pretend bullets like an action movie hero. "Guns that go like this are widely inaccurate, that's why hunters don't like them. Mass shooters do like them."

Barbra Streisand: Adam Schiff Would Make a Great President

Pop icon, Constitutional scholar, and noted political pundit Barbra Streisand says she sees in Adam Schiff (D-CA), the face of the Democrat impeachment campaign against President Donald Trump, a man who “would make a great president.”

“Adam Schiff is so impressive. His knowledge of the law… his passion… his articulateness. His sincerity!” Barbra Streisand said, pouring praise on the partisan lawmaker. “He speaks the truth and would make a great president.”

Babs may want to pomp the breaks because as it stands, only 27 percent of America has a positive opinion of Rep. Schiff according to YouGov data. The same polling outfit reports that President Trump’s approval among Americans sits at 39 percent.

Chinese military officer busted for posing as Boston University student

A female Chinese military officer was charged with spying while posing as a student at Boston University, but was able to flee the country after FBI agents interviewed her about her links to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

PLA Lt. Ye Yanqing was indicted in a separate criminal case involving Dr. Charles Lieber, chairman of Harvard’s chemistry department, who was arrested on Tuesday and charged with lying about receiving tens of thousands of dollars from the Wuhan University of Technology and lying to the Pentagon about the foreign money.

The involvement of Lt. Ye and two other senior PLA officers highlights the Chinese military’s involvement in Beijing’s large-scale program of recruiting foreign specialists.

Investigators say Lt. Ye was under control of “senior leaders of the PLA while conducting research at Boston University pursuant to a J-1 non-immigrant visa.”

DNC slapped with defamation lawsuit by Carter Page

Former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page filed a defamation lawsuit this week against the Democrat National Committee and the law firm Perkins Coie over the use of an unsubstantiated dossier that was used to obtain surveillance warrants against him.

“The defendants are private actors who used false information, misrepresentations and other misconduct to direct the power of international intelligence apparatus and the media industry against a private individual,” Mr. Page’s attorneys wrote in the lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

A DNC spokeswoman called Mr. Page’s claims “baseless” and similar to a previous lawsuit that was dismissed last year.

"Defendants developed a dossier replete with falsehoods about numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign — especially Dr. Page,” his attorney wrote in the filing Thursday. “Defendants then sought to tarnish the Trump campaign and its affiliates (including Dr. Page) by publicizing false information.”

Racial Justice Groups Call on Klobuchar to Suspend Campaign

Multiple racial justice groups have called on White House hopeful Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to suspend her presidential campaign after a story from the Associated Press highlighted her role in a case during her time as Hennepin County’s district attorney.

As district attorney for the county, Klobuchar led the case against Myon Burrell, who was sentenced to life in prison for the 2002 murder of 11-year-old Tyesha Edwards. At the time of his sentencing, Burrell was a teenager. He is now 33-years-old and the AP story revealed that Klobuchar prosecuted Burrell without substantial evidence and dismissed a confession from the co-defendant who claimed Burrell was not at the scene.

According to reports, Klobuchar also denied Burrell’s request to attend his mother’s funeral after he filed an appeal and claimed he was a threat to society. Edwards’s father has previously stated that he also believes Burrell was wrongfully convicted for the murder of his daughter.

Trump Sets up Task Force to Investigate Missing and Murdered Native Americans

President Donald Trump has tasked three members of his Cabinet to work together to investigate the high number of American Indians and Alaska Natives who have been murdered or gone missing.

The Department of the Interior, Department of Justice, and Department of Health and Human Services met as a task force for the first time on Wednesday, co-chaired by Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt and Attorney General William Barr.

The task force “is composed of federal officials charged with enhancing the criminal justice response, consulting with tribal governments on potential solutions and empowering native communities with information,” a press release announcing the new campaign said.

“President Trump is committed to addressing systemic challenges in Indian Country, and this task force will develop and implement an aggressive, government-wide strategy to combat the crisis of missing and murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives,” Bernhardt said. “By working together and listening to impacted citizens and tribal communities, we intend to tackle these complex issues.”

“The disappearance and death of American Indian and Alaska Native people, particularly women and girls, is an especially tragic chapter in a long story of marginalization and trauma suffered by native people,” Barr said. “We are committed to addressing this challenge, to reducing the violence and protecting the vulnerable from exploitation and abuse.”

Race-Baiters Ruined As Poll Shows Americans' Satisfaction With Race-Relations Jumped Since Trump Elected

Well this doesn't fit the mainstream media narrative...

In a poll reported by Gallup's 'Mood of the Nation' this week, it turns out that Americans' satisfaction with race relations has jumped 14% since Trump’s inauguration.

As The Daily Caller's David Krayden notes, the numbers on race relations seemingly fly in the face of rhetoric from progressives who not only routinely label the president as a racist and is actively or passively promoting a white supremacist agenda. Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker has called the president “worse than a racist” while CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin labelled Trump a racist for calling Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters a “low IQ individual.”

When Trump criticized the infrastructure in Baltimore and said the city was “rodent-infested” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the comments “racist.”

Miami University Coronavirus Update

Miami’s Institutional Response Team (IRT) and public health officials, including the Butler County Health District and the Ohio Department of Health, continue to await the results of two samples sent earlier this week to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). No additional suspected cases have emerged from Miami University, Butler County, or the State of Ohio.

We know many people are anxiously awaiting the results of the tests. The Ohio Department of Health sent the test samples to the CDC on Tuesday, January 28. The samples were received by the CDC the next morning and placed in the queue for testing. We know it takes 48 hours for the lab to grow the cultures necessary for testing, and that we are among a number of pending requests, as testing can presently only be performed by the CDC’s public health lab. While we had hoped to receive the results by today, the Butler County Health Commissioner indicated to us that given the late hour this is now unlikely.

When the tests are complete, the CDC will deliver the results first to the Ohio Department of Health and the Butler County Health District, who will contact the students who have been isolated since Monday. Following the students’ notification, Miami University, the Butler County Health District, and the Ohio Department of Health will promptly hold a joint news conference to share the results.

'He's so worried it's going to be me he got himself in this mix to begin with.' Joe Biden slams Donald Trump ahead of impeachment vote and says upcoming Iowa caucuses are 'going to be really close'

Former Vice President Joe Biden cast himself as the most formidable Democrat to go up against President Trump, as he continued to slam the president in the hours leading up to the expected impeachment vote.

'He's so worried it's going to be me he got himself in this mix to begin with,' Biden told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos.

Stephanopoulos had brought up comments Trump made Thursday night during his campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa, which was meant to suck attention away from the Democratic presidential candidates, including Biden, who will participate in Monday's Iowa caucuses.

Pets Can Carry Wuhan Coronavirus Too, Says Expert

A Chinese epidemiologist warned this week that the novel Wuhan coronavirus is not limited to communication between humans.

Dr. Li Lanjuan of the Chinese National Health Commission made clear that mammals are generally at risk of passing the virus.

“If pets go out and have contact with an infected person, they have the chance to get infected. By then, pets need to be isolated. In addition to people, we should be careful with other mammals especially pets,” she told China Central Television (CCTV) Wednesday.

Chinese news outlets and the World Health Organization report that pet-to-person transmission remains theoretical as of now. The WHO declared an international emergency on Thursday.
