For years, the liberal foreign policy establishment presented Americans with a false choice on Iran: surrender or war. President Trump has proved that binary to be a fantasy, squeezing and deterring the Iranians without full-on confrontation.
“When I became president, Iran was a true state of terror,” Trump said in France this week. Now, “they are failing as a nation.”
Not that his critics give him credit — or room to maneuver. As The Daily Beast reported last week, alumni of the Obama administration have been secretly in touch with the Iranians — no doubt to reassure the mullahs that if they wait out Trump, their fortunes will turn.

Boston 'Straight Pride Parade' Prompts Very Different Responses From Tomi Lahren, 'Captain America'
A proposal for a "Straight Pride Parade" in Boston has prompted "an uproar on social media" and some notable quotes from a few high-profile figures, including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, FOX Nation host Tomi Lahren, and progressive actor Chris Evans.
"Days before Boston’s Pride parade fills city streets, celebrating the LGBTQ community, another parade proposal is causing an uproar on social media," CBS Boston reports.
The proposed parade presents itself as an alternative to the annual Gay Pride Parade, describing itself as an opportunity to "celebrate heterosexuality." The group behind the event, Super Happy Fun America, hopes to conduct the parade on the last Saturday of August and to use the same path as the pro-LGBT event.

The famed Four Seasons Restaurant is closing
The legendary Four Seasons Restaurant is closing, Page Six has exclusively learned.
The institution — which moved to a new location in August 2017 — will serve its final soufflĂ© on Tuesday, we’re told.
Sources say that its managing partner, Alex Von Bidder, called a staff meeting Friday to break the news, and a rep for the restaurant confirmed the closure to us.
In a statement to Page Six, Von Bidder said, “We have been privileged to work with one of the finest culinary teams and outstanding staff that has stayed with us through some challenging times over the course of our history.”

Fake News: Dutch Girl Didn't Die From Euthanasia. Here's What Really Happened
On Tuesday, English-language media outlets across the world reported that the Netherlands permitted a doctor to assist 17-year-old rape victim Noa Pothoven in killing herself. Euthanasia is legal in cases of "hopeless and unbearable" suffering in the Netherlands, but Pothoven did not die from euthanasia. In fact, her euthanasia request was denied. Instead, she starved herself to death, against the wishes of the state or her parents.
Both supporters and opponents of euthanasia spread the fake news. "A 17-year-old rape victim was NOT euthanised in the Netherlands," POLITICO Europe correspondent Naomi O'Leary tweeted. She noted that Euro News, the British papers the Independent and the Daily Mail, and the American Daily Beast "are all wrong. It took me about 10 mins to check with the reporter who wrote the original Dutch story. Noa Pothoven asked for euthanasia and was refused."
Yet by the time O'Leary alerted the world, the story had already spread far and wide — to Australia, the United States, India, and Italy.
O'Leary linked to an article from the Dutch newspaper De Gelderlander, reporting the denial of euthanasia. Around June 2018, the 16-year-old Pothoven asked the Levenseind Clinic in The Hague whether she could be put to death. The clinic told her no.

Border officials are finding more cases of unrelated migrants posing as families
Federal immigration officials assigned to the U.S.-Mexico border are seeing an uptick in the number of instances in which investigators have been able to identify unrelated migrants posing as families in an effort to evade immediate deportation after they have illegally crossed into the country.
From mid-April through May 31, Immigration and Customs Enforcement interviewed 1,126 people who claimed to be traveling with a family member when they were taken into custody. Of that group, 206 "fraudulent families" were found to have fabricated familial relations either by verbal statements or with bogus legal documents. A family consists of two or more people, according to ICE.
The agency uncovered 422 fraudulent paper documents or verbal claims in that six-week portion of its continuing investigation.

Marco Rubio Issues Glowing Praise for President Trump’s Trade, Immigration Win with Mexico
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued glowing praise to President Trump for reaching a deal with Mexico amidst pending tariff threats and predicted the mainstream media’s struggle to process the significant political victory.
Trump reached an immigration reform agreement with Mexico Friday evening. The deal essentially ends catch-and-release, having Mexico offering migrants jobs and health care while they wait for their asylum claims to be heard in the U.S.
“Those [migrants] crossing the U.S. Southern Border to seek asylum will be rapidly returned to Mexico where they may await the adjudication of their [US.] asylum claims,” the State Department said in the joint declaration.
In response, Mexico will authorize the entrance of all of those individuals for humanitarian reasons, in compliance with its international obligations, while they await the adjudication of their asylum claims. Mexico will also offer jobs, healthcare, and education according to its principles.
Rubio issued glowing praise of Trump’s victory and predicted the mainstream media’s struggle to give the president credit.

Blue State Blues: Trump Has Improved Relations with Every U.S. Ally
President Donald Trump has improved relations with every one of America’s allies.
You will not learn that from reading the news. The prevailing dogma in the mainstream media reflects the Democrat Party’s revisionist propaganda, which obscures the fact that Barack Obama disrupted relations with our allies in an effort to appease Russia, Iran, and other enemies.
But search the world, and you will not find any examples of allies with whom Trump has made relations worse.
Do not rely on opinion polls. The public perception of the United States abroad is shaped by CNN and the New York Times, the major sources of American news overseas; and is also guided by foreign media and cultural elites, who are vehemently anti-Republican, if not also anti-American.
Look, instead, at the relationships between governments.
Start with Israel, where Obama made a deliberate effort to create “distance” between our government and theirs. Today Donald Trump is a hero to Israelis for affirming their sovereignty in Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. Israel’s Arab neighbors, including our Saudi allies, are also grateful for Trump’s backing against Iran.
Or take Japan, where President Trump concluded a very successful visit last week. To be sure, there are differences between the two countries on issues like North Korea and trade. Yet President Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have forged a close friendship.

Jordan Demands Cummings Hold Michael Cohen Accountable for Perjury
House Oversight and Reform Committee ranking members Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Mark Meadows (R-NC) wrote a letter Friday to committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) demanding that he hold former Donald Trump attorney Michael Cohen accountable for perjury.
Jordan and Meadows wrote a letter to Cummings on the 100th day since Cohen’s “perjury-laden” testimony the House Oversight Committee in February, demanding that Cummings hold Cohen accountable for his lies to the committee.
The House conservatives wrote:
We are deeply disappointed that you have declined to hold Cohen accountable, despite your forceful promises to do so and contrary to Vice Chair Katie Hill’s expectation that you would. We can only assume that you worry that acknowledging Cohen’s lies would undermine the investigation on which they are based and ultimately undercut your partisan attacks upon the President. We hope that you will reconsider your decision, put the institutional interests of the Committee ahead of your political goals, and do what you promised to do.
The Ohio and North Carolina congressmen cite that recent House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) transcripts show that Cohen lied about never seeking a pardon from President Trump.

Ouch: After Abortion Fiasco, Obama’s Chief Campaign Strategist Wonders if Biden Can Actually Win
The move from Biden came after days of pressure from the left and direct shots on the abortion issue from other Democrat candidates.
Now, because of the back and forth, former Obama campaign manager David Axelrod is questioning whether Biden can really win.
"This underscores questions that people have had about whether he can go the distance," Axelrod said during an interview with CNN Friday morning. "Last night he flipped again. So, that was a flip-flop-flip, which is never a good thing in politics and his raises questions about his performance and his own steadiness and his campaign's performance. This was not a good...geyond the issue itself, this was not a reassuring episode for the Biden campaign."

A veteran died in police custody. His body was returned to his family with some organs missing
Two days before he died, Everett Palmer Jr. called his brother, Dwayne, to tell him he was on his way from Delaware to New York to visit him and their sick mother. But first, he said, he wanted to resolve an outstanding DUI warrant from an incident in 2016 in Pennsylvania to make sure his license was valid for the drive to see his family.
The phone call was the last time the family would hear from the 41-year-old U.S. Army veteran and father of two.
On April 9, 2018, two days later, the family was told that Palmer had died in police custody at the York County Prison. Fourteen months later, the Palmers say they still don't know what really happened. But they are suspicious because when Palmer's body was returned to them, his throat, heart and brain were missing.

London murder rate overtakes New York as knife crime rises
LONDON (Reuters) - London police investigated more murders than their New York counterparts did over the last two months, statistics show, as the British capital’s mayor vowed to fight a “violent scourge” on the streets.
There were 15 murders in London in February against 14 in New York, according to London’s Metropolitan Police Service and the New York Police Department. For March, 22 murders were investigated in London, with 21 reports in New York.
In the latest bloodshed, a 17-year-old girl died on Monday after she was found with gunshot wounds in Tottenham, north London, a day after a man was fatally stabbed in south London.

California City Officials Fight To Keep Chick-Fil-A From Doing Business
Another city has taken up the torch in the Left's ongoing quest to hound fast-food giant Chick-fil-A.
"A San Mateo County official is pushing to stop a Chick-fil-A restaurant from opening up in Redwood City," reports CBS Local news. "The McDonald’s restaurant on Whipple could soon be tuning into a Chick-fil-A, making it the chain’s 13th restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area."
San Mateo County supervisor David Canepa told reporters he is seeking to prevent the restaurant from obtaining an "architectural permit" due to its founder, Dan Cathy, previously expressing support for traditional marriage and for donating funds to pro-marriage groups.
"This would not go before the city council — because it’s an existing use, it would just be administerial for the planning commission," Canepa said. "When people think of the Chick-fil-A logo — what they think of is anti-LGBTQ."

America's rural radio stations are vanishing – and taking the country's soul with them
When I arrive at the radio station, Mark Lucke is standing in the doorway, looking out at the spitting, winter rain. He’s slim and stoic, with sad, almost haunted, eyes. The first thing he asks is if I’d like to see “the dungeon”. Who wouldn’t?
Lucke pulls on a Steeler’s jacket and a baseball cap over brown hair that falls halfway down his back, and leads me across the five-acre yard. Out here, 90 miles east of Tucson, the desert is a long sweep of brush the color of beach sand. Lucke seems to slip through the rainy day like a ghost.
The radio station, whose call letters are KHIL, has long been the daily soundtrack for this frontier town (population 3,500) that prides itself on its cowboy culture and quiet pace of life. But six decades after the founding of the station, the property is in foreclosure, with utility disconnect notices coming nearly every month.
Small-town radio is fizzling nationwide, as stations struggle to attract advertisement dollars. And as station owners are forced to sell, media conglomerates snap up rural frequencies for rock-bottom prices, for the sole purpose of relocating them to urban areas. In a more affluent market, they can be flipped for a higher price. With limited frequencies available, larger broadcasters purchase as many as possible – especially those higher on the dial – in a race not dissimilar to a real estate grab.

FBI Counterintelligence Is Focus of Trump Campaign Spying Probe
'Crossfire Hurricane' run by FBI headquarters clique against presidential campaign
The ongoing special Justice Department investigation into improper spying on the Trump campaign in 2016 highlights key failings by the FBI's once-storied counterintelligence division.
Two senior counterintelligence officials no longer with the bureau are among likely targets of the investigation by John Durham, U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut. Both were key managers of the high-profile investigations in 2016 into classified information found on Hillary Clinton's private email server, and the now-discredited counterspy operation into links between the Trump presidential campaign and Russian government.
A central figure is Peter Strzok, deputy assistant FBI director for the counterintelligence division, who was fired in August. Another key player was his boss, Bill Priestap, assistant FBI director for counterintelligence, who quietly resigned in December.
In the three years since the controversial investigations, the FBI counterintelligence division has sought to rebuild its reputation by conducting aggressive operations untainted by past allegations of liberal political bias through recent high-profile spy cases. Three former CIA officials and a former State Department official in recent months were convicted of spying for China, and Russian military intelligence operatives, while out of reach of U.S. law enforcement, were indicted for cyber attacks in the 2016 election meddling scheme.

Medieval diseases spreading in Los Angeles prove twisted Democrat priorities endanger public health
Americans don’t have to look as far as Venezuela to see the massive failure of a government incapable of delivering the basics of what people need from their government. A brief look at California shows how the twisted priorities of Democrat political leadership are creating a dangerous environment for the residents of the Golden State.
While combatting climate change remains a top priority for Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrat Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, the streets of California’s cities are filled with homeless camps, garbage, and disease-spreading rats.
In a throwback to medieval times, Los Angeles is facing an infectious disease epidemic caused by flea-borne disease linked to rat-infested streets. Last October, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a health alert surrounding an outbreak of flea-borne typhus in the homeless population in downtown Los Angeles.
A month later, Deputy City Attorney Liz Greenwood was diagnosed with typhus, which she claims came from fleas carried by rats that are infesting City Hall and an adjacent building, City Hall East, where she worked.

Trump’s Great D-Day Speech
President Trump gave one of the best speeches of his presidency while many Americans were brushing their teeth. His remarks at the seventy-fifth commemoration of D-Day at the Normandy American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, France, were gracious, moving, poetic, and delivered in a time zone six hours ahead of the East Coast.
Which is too bad. The address deserves a wide audience not only for its content but also because it fits into the larger themes of this presidency. Speaking from what he described as "Freedom's Altar," Donald Trump once again made the case for reviving America's national spirit, sovereignty, and strength.
Trump told the story of D-Day and of some exemplary GIs before an audience that included more than 60 veterans of the landings themselves. Adding to the poignancy of the scene was the knowledge that the Greatest Generation is slowly fading into posterity. "When you were young, these men enlisted their lives in a Great Crusade—one of the greatest of all times," the president said. "Their mission is the story of an epic battle and the ferocious, eternal struggle between good and evil."

JOHN SOLOMON BOMBSHELL: Key Figure That Mueller Report Linked to Russia Was Actually a State Department Intel Source
According to award-winning journalist John Solomon, a key figure that the Mueller report linked to Russia was actually a State Department intel source.
In Mueller’s report, Ukrainian businessman, Konstantin Kilimnik — the so-called Russian who Paul Manafort shared internal polling data with (gasp) isn’t a Russian, he’s actually as a “sensitive” intelligence source for the U.S. State Department who informed on Ukrainian and Russian matters, reported Solomon.
John Solomon reviewed hundreds of pages of government documents proving Kilimnik is indeed a State Department intel source — even worse, Mueller possessed these documents since 2018.
This very important piece of information was omitted from Mueller’s report once again showing just how corrupt and criminal the special counsel’s investigation was.

Trump’s UK Visit Was a Glowing Success
It’s not too much to call President Donald Trump’s state visit to Britain, which concluded on Wednesday, a big success. The curious thing is that much of the American media went out of their way to ignore that fact.
The New York Times stands in for a lot of the U.S. coverage. “Trump Insults London Mayor as ‘Loser’ as He Pays Tribute to the Queen,” it blared on Monday as the state visit began.
On Wednesday, as the president left Britain, the Times was at it again: “President Trump, Unloved in Britain, Still Tries to Play Kingmaker.” It’s almost like they want him to fail.
The media has a simple script. When the president is a Republican abroad, the correct approach is to blame everything on him and play up as many negatives as possible. But when the president is a liberal, anything less that fulsome applause is a betrayal of the tradition that politics stops at the water’s edge.

Amid a sea of companies raising money for abortion, Wendy's stands up and promotes adoption
According to a Tuesday article published on Live Action, Wendy's clearly has adoption on its mind over abortion.
According to the Family Council, some of the companies that widely support Planned Parenthood include Aetna, Clorox, Deutsche Bank, Mondelez International, Nike, Starbucks, United Airlines, and more.
In May, Netflix employees donated at least $20,000 to Planned Parenthood. Netflix announced that it would be reconsidering filming in Georgia as a result of the state's new "heartbeat" law.
