Somerset County Sheriff's Office Press Release
Here's How Much Has Been Made from the Sale of Surplus M1 Rifles to Civilians
The Civilian Marksmanship Program is well known as the go-to place to buy surplus military firearms, so the Government Accountability Office recently tallied up how much money the nonprofit has generated from selling tens of thousands of M1 Garand rifles over the past decade.
Looking backward nine years from 2017, the GAO reports that the government-chartered CMP has brought in $323 million in revenue. About 61 percent of those earnings comes from selling M1 rifles, many of which were used in World War II and the Korean War.
"The primary source of CMP's revenues from fiscal years 2008 through 2017 was from the sale of surplus rifles, which, according to CMP's internal financial documents, generated $196.8 million in revenue," according to the GAO.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal 1996 authorized the CMP to sell certain types of surplus Army firearms to U.S. citizens, including M1 .30 caliber rifles. The program reimburses the Army for the costs to prepare and transport surplus firearms to the CMP, according to the GAO report.

'The greatest constitutional crisis since the Civil War', writes Conrad Black
The most immense and dangerous public scandal in American history is finally cracking open like a ripe pomegranate. The broad swath of the Trump-hating media that has participated in what has amounted to an unconstitutional attempt to overthrow the government are reduced to reporting the events and revelations of the scandal in which they have been complicit, in a po-faced ho-hum manner to impart to the misinformed public that this is as routine as stock market fluctuations or the burning of an American flag in Tehran.
For more than two years, the United States and the world have had two competing narratives: that an elected president of the United States was a Russian agent whom the Kremlin helped elect; and its rival narrative that senior officials of the Justice Department, FBI, CIA, and other national intelligence organizations had repeatedly lied under oath, misinformed federal officials, and meddled in partisan political matters illegally and unconstitutionally and had effectively tried to influence the outcome of a presidential election, and then undo its result by falsely propagating the first narrative. It is now obvious and indisputable that the second narrative is the correct one.
The authors, accomplices, and dupes of this attempted overthrow of constitutional government are now well along in reciting their misconduct without embarrassment or remorse because—in fired FBI Director James Comey’s formulation—a “higher duty” than the oath they swore to uphold the Constitution compelled them. Or—in fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s words—“the threat” was too great. Nevermind that the nature of “the threat” was that the people might elect someone he and Comey disapproved of as president, and that that person might actually serve his term, as elected.

Fake Indian Elizabeth Warren's New Pitch: Reparations For Native Americans!
Fake Indian Elizabeth Warren not only pitched reparations for African-Americans, she suggested Friday that Native Americans should also be “part of the conversation” when it comes to the federal government paying reparations to atone for its sinful, ‘racist past.’
Because trillions of dollars transferred to minorities in the form of welfare and housing isn’t enough…
Elizabeth Warren blasted the US while stumping in New Hampshire Friday stating, “America has an ugly history of racism. We need to confront it head on. And we need to talk about the right way to address it and make change.”
When asked if Native Americans should also get reparations, Warren said, “I think it is a part of the conversation, and I think it is an important part of the conversation.”

Quote of the Day
"We're going through one of the most important periods of choice about who we are as a country. The things we are learning about the Democrats going crazy to the left, the rise in socialism and the corruption of the FBI – all these things together.
"And this is going to be, in the next few years, one of the most important periods in American history. And I hope that every American will take seriously working to make sure that the country survives." --Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich

‘Unplanned’ Filmmakers Explain Surprise R-Rating
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) gave the upcoming abortion movie Unplanned an R-rating Friday, citing “some disturbing, bloody images.” But the movie’s filmmakers fear the rating is motivated by politics.
“We made a pro-life movie in a pro-choice town” said Chuck Konzelman, who along with Cary Solomon wrote and directed Unplanned.
For Solomon, the R-rating smacks of hypocrisy. “The standard used to rate our movie is being applied inconsistently as it relates to bloody images on-screen,” he told me in a phone interview. “In fact, Happy Death Day 2U (a “slasher” film with several violent murder scenes) has far more blood and gore than our film and it received a PG-13 rating.”
Indeed, most R-rated films are labelled as such for featuring sexual scenes, profanity, nudity, or violence — all of which Unplanned has none. The filmmakers had hoped for a PG-13 rating.
The film tells the true-life story of former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson, who left the abortion giant in 2009 to become a pro-life activist.

GOP Rep. After Deployment to Border: Situation Warrants Emergency Declaration
Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said the situation at the southern border constituted a national emergency after witnessing it during his Air National Guard unit deployed to Arizona.
Partial transcript as follows:
MARGARET BRENNAN: "And we’re going to turn now to Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger who’s in Chicago but he is just freshly back from the border. He was serving with the Air National Guard at the border where he was flying surveillance missions out of Tucson, Arizona. Congressman this wasn’t your first border deployment. It’s the first one under the national emergency. Does it constitute a national emergency?"
REPRESENTATIVE ADAM KINZINGER: "Yeah I think it does. You know, I went down there kind of undecided. You know I- I put on my lieutenant colonel hat, was apolitical but obviously I’m looking at this, getting the information I can. And I think if this was just an issue of immigration it wouldn’t constitute a national emergency but what I saw was really disturbing. Let me give you just a couple of quick examples and I was just a small part of all the operations that were being done.
"We found at one point a woman hunkered down in the desert because her coyotes who brought her over deserted her because they wanted to get away. Had she actually not been found by us I don’t know if she’d been able to find her way home. So yeah, she got picked up by Border Patrol, she’s going to be deported, but that was a way better option than being one of the 200, at least, bodies they end up finding in the desert every year.
"And keep in mind I’ve done this, you know, we had a mission where we found 70 pounds of methamphetamines on somebody that was coming over and I’m just a very small part of that. This is the fourth time I’ve been to the border..."

American Opioids Deaths Have Quadrupled In 18 Years
The opioid crisis is the most significant public health issue affecting the US at the moment. Opioid-related deaths across the country have risen more than 4-fold in 18 years, from 2.9 per 100,000 people in 1999 to 13.2 per 100,000 people in 2016, according to a new report.
More than 351,000 Americans have died of opioids between 1999 and 2016, according to the report published Friday by Mathew Kiang, ScD, Center for Population Health Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine, and other researchers from the University of Toronto.

Lindsey Graham: Did They Try to Overthrow the President by 25th Amendment? I'm Going to Call in Rosenstein, McCabe, Yates, Comey (VIDEO)!
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss the ongoing Mueller witch hunt on President Trump.
Graham told Maria Bartiromo he was going to call in all of those deep state operatives who signed on to the fraudulent FISA warrants to spy on Donald Trump.
Sen. Lindsey Graham: If the Democrats keep pushing this it’s going to blow up in their face in 2020. What I’m going to do is look at the Department of Justice and the FBI and look at the other side of the story. How was a counter intelligence investigation opened up against the Trump Campaign based on a document paid for by the Democratic Party that was a bunch of garbage?… The counter intelligence investigation of the Trump Campaign I think was a backdoor attempt to infiltrate the campaign. They used a confidential informant. Well what did the confidential informant find about the Trump campaign and Russia?… This is a real mess. Did they really sit down and try to overthrow the president by invoking the 25th Amendment? I’m going to get to the bottom of that. I’m going to have McCabe come in, Rosenstein come in, anybody and everybody around that conversation and we’re going to find out who’s lying. Every American should be worried about what happened in 2016.

Our National Debt Is Our National Disgrace
In mid-February, our national debt reached $22 trillion, a new record for our country. Since President Trump took office in January of 2017, our debt has increased over $2 trillion. During the administration of President Obama, it increased from $10.6 trillion to $19.9 trillion. Thus, the national debt has more than doubled in 10 years and it is still increasing nearly $1 trillion per year.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, the national debt for this fiscal year will be $897 billion and will top $1 trillion again in 2022. At that point, their forecast calls for the national debt to exceed $1 trillion annually for another seven years as the costs for Medicare and Social Security skyrocket with more Americans from the massive Baby Boomer generation retiring.
This ongoing problem has been caused by both Democrats and Republicans. For the first two years of the Trump administration, Republicans controlled both houses of Congress, yet the debt still grew by over $1 trillion per year. Thus, the national debt has increased no matter which party controls Congress and the White House.

Senator Kamala Harris Supports Reparations for Slavery - But Her Jamaican Ancestors Were Plantation Slave Owners?
Senator Kamala Harris from California stated this past week that she was for reparations for black Americans for slavery.
But, according to her father, her ancestors were plantation slave owners in Jamaica. So is Kamala willing to pay for these reparations?
According to the New York Post Senators Harris and Elizabeth Warren support reparations for African-Americans affected by slavery.
Asked about the matter last week on the 105.1 FM show “Breakfast Club,” Harris agreed with the host that reparations are necessary to address problems of “inequities.”
“America has a history of 200 years of slavery. We had Jim Crow. We had legal segregation in America for a very long time,” she said on the radio show. “We have got to recognize, back to that earlier point, people aren’t starting out on the same base in terms of their ability to succeed and so we have got to recognize that and give people a lift up.”
The former attorney general doubled down on her remarks on Thursday.
“We have to be honest that people in this country do not start from the same place or have access to the same opportunities,” she said in a statement to the New York Times. “I’m serious about taking an approach that would change policies and structures and make real investments in black communities.”
The problem with Senator Harris’s comments are that her father says that her ancestors were Jamaican plantation owners. According to his book,

Paul Manafort Indicted and in Solitary Confinement While Hillary and Creepy Podesta Brothers Run Free - Manafort Worked for Podestas!
As reported yesterday, Robert Mueller filed under seal, an 800-page redacted sentencing memo on Paul Manafort in the Washington D.C case ahead of the midnight deadline and was ordered to release it by corrupt Obama judge Amy Berman Jackson.
Mueller said in the sentencing memo that Paul Manafort “repeatedly and brazenly” violated the law for over a decade.

Mueller also accused Manafort in engaging in witness tampering while on bail, perjuring himself and making false statements.
Last Friday, Robert Mueller issued a sentencing memo in the Virginia case recommending Paul Manafort, who will turn 70 in April, serve between 19.5 to 24.5 years in prison.
In other words, Paul Manafort should die in prison for the crime of associating with Donald Trump — the crimes Manafort is being charged with were dug up by the criminal and corrupt Andrew Weissmann as revenge.

Federal Judge Rules Male-Only Military Draft Unconstitutional!
Draft our daughters.
A federal judge in Texas ruled late Friday that the male-only military draft is unconstitutional, declaring that “the time has passed” for a debate whether women belong in combat.
US District Judge Gray Miller, a George W. Bush appointee, dealt a huge blow to the current Selective Service System since the SCOTUS upheld the draft in a 1981 ruling.
In Rostker v. Goldberg, the Supreme Court ruled that the all-male draft was “fully justified” because women could not fulfill combat roles.

Newt Gingrich Rips FBI for an Attempted Coup of Trump
Lost in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into 2016 election meddling is "one of the great scandals in American history," as FBI officials sought to undo the authority of President Donald Trump, according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
"If you look at things like [Andrew] McCabe and this whole FBI thing, which I think is one of the great scandals in American history – the whole idea that your most important law enforcement institution had people who were actively plotting in effect to overturn the elected president of the United States," Gingrich told "The Cats Roundtable" on 970 AM-N.Y.
"The more we hear from McCabe and [James] Comey on this, the clearer it is that this was an agency that was so corrupt and so out of control that I think if Hillary Clinton had won, there is no telling what would have happened to our freedom."
Gingrich pointed to the alleged talk to use the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump as a way to undo the 2016 election, which is a "total violation of our Constitution," he told host John Catsimatidis.
"I'm hoping that the new attorney general [William Barr] is going to look very carefully at everything going back to 2015 and the whole treatment of the Clintons and the treatment of the Clinton's staff," Gingrich added. "All these different pieces out there, the more we learn about them the sicker they are.

The Great Workfare Era Is Here
New Congressional members arrived in Washington last month with much hoopla and the promise that a centrally directed, democratic economy, will usher in a new era of prosperity for all. This new Congress, however, isn’t looking to the hope and promise of the future. They’re looking to the despair and failings of the past.
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs,” declared Karl Marx in 1875.
For the new Congress, and their retread pursuit of democratic socialism, the declaration is: “No shirker left behind.”
To attain this objective, all the accepted laws of gravity and arithmetic must be abolished by legislative decree. House Democrats, and many House Republicans, are eager to comply. Remember, to voters, debts and deficits don’t matter.
Politicians are well aware that to get elected and stay in office over the long haul they must promise free stuff. A politician that promises to cut social security and limit Medicare won’t be a politician for long. The fact is, voters may say they’re in favor of smaller government. But what they really want are politicians that promise something for nothing from the highly visible hand of government.
The trick, however, is in the treat. Many good folks of sound body and honest intentions do, in fact, want to work for their daily bread. They’re not interested in shirking for transfer payment handouts. But, nonetheless, they don’t question the merits of centrally directed work. Rather, they welcome it.

The Purpose Driven Life
The truth in matters of public finance can never compete with the fantasy that everything can be restored by borrowing and spending. The credulous public hears of the latest New Deal – green or otherwise – and are overcome by visions of high paying jobs and a respectable workfare life on Easy Street. And what’s not to like?
Big programs, big contracts, and big budgets offer jobs with an appeal that market directed jobs often do not. They offer the allure of certainty and stability. They also offer the suitor with a readymade higher cause.

Embattled Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax compares himself to lynching victims
Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax stunned lawmakers Sunday with an impromptu speech comparing himself to lynching victims from the late-19th and early 20th centuries as he fights to remain in office amid sexual assault allegations.
"I've heard much about anti-lynching on the floor of this very Senate, where people were not given any due process whatsoever, and we rue that," Fairfax said from his rostrum in the Virginia State Senate, referencing legislation the General Assembly passed expressing "profound regret" for lynchings in Virginia between 1877 and 1950.
"And, we talk about hundreds, at least 100 terror lynchings that have happened in the Commonwealth of Virginia under those very same auspices. And yet, we stand here in a rush to judgment with nothing but accusations and no facts and we decide that we are willing to do the same thing," Fairfax added. His remarks, which lasted approximately five minutes, were greeted with stunned silence from state senators.
Fairfax, who is black, has been accused of sexual assault by two women. One of them, Meredith Watson, accused Fairfax of raping her 19 years ago while they were undergraduates at Duke University. The other accuser, Vanessa Tyson, has claimed Fairfax forced her to perform oral sex on him in a Boston hotel room during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Tyson's lawyer said last week that Tyson planned to meet with prosecutors in Massachusetts to detail her allegations.
