i use to work at wwtp for one of the contracters doing the constrution work until yesteday when i was terminated for asking too many questions if you could see some of the stuff i did u would wonder as i do whos letting all this go and y isnt the epa all over the place .they have an above groung old holding tank with 1 milliom yep thats right 1 million gallons of raw sewage in it and someone hit with a loader saturday .boy did those guys mess there pants.

Although this comment was posted this evening, I cannot confirm if it is a fact or not as of yet. The MDE, EPA & the Salisbury City Council have been notified.

Another Window Gets Busted Out!

Although the Salisbury Police Department is increasing patrols around the Downtown area, criminals are still getting away with late night break inn's into vehicles. I have posted many times pictures of vehicles broken into and this is yet another one.

It will be very relaxing to get the new 14 officers the Chief mentioned in yesterdays PAC 14 live interview but that won't happen until some time in June and we don't know how many Officers might leave in that period of time? Remember though, that will only bring us up to speed with the "normal" amount of Officers Salisbury is used to having. In the mean time, the present Officers are working their tails off to keep up with the loss of so many Officers who have left. Money Talks, BS Walks!

I will say this, there were Officers all over Downtown last night as I was there till 12:30 a.m. myself. Thanks Guys!

The Salisbury Police Department offers a really cool link called Daily Calls For Service. You can go there daily and see what crime has occurred throughout the day in Salisbury. The two above caught my eye because there were two shootings, 12 hours apart, next door to one and other on the same day. Yet no one heard about it?

Talk About A Boat Load Of Sh*t!

Barrie Tilghman in her own sick and demented way had to go live and compete with the President of the United States yesterday with her own version of politics and it made everyone sitting there being subjected to the pre written fiasco sick to their stomachs.

Let's start out with Gary Comegys. This was the first of many to come self promotions from the Mayor to help Bubba's campaign because Mike Dunn is not, (IMO) going to run and the signs become very clear of such as every day goes by. Mike Dunn's ego would never have allowed this promotion to go on if he were in the running.

Bubba went on discussing how bike routes take pressure off the highways and used new words like pedestrian connectivity to promote Bubba's new bike paths near the college. Here's what I'd like to know Folks. Does "anyone" believe that Bubba has actually been on a bike in the past 10 years? There must be something in it for the S. H. A.

Let's move on to Chief Webster. He spoke of having a "very young" police force. They have 7 officers in field training recently out of the academy and 7 more in the academy, 2 of which are from New York. Not for nothing Chief but I have to wonder what would make 2 officers leave the salaries of being officers in New York and move here. BANG, Police, Freeze?

Nevertheless, he let the cat out of the bag telling everyone that once these 14 officers are on the streets in June they will finally be back to the normal level of officers needed to protect Salisbury properly. In other words, we are a young police force with mostly inexperienced police officers, we're hiring only young recruits and we cannot afford to pay for seasoned officers.

Back in the day, before Chief Webster was hired, the Salisbury Police Department was one of the most sought after places to work in the United States. In fact, so much so that when 4 police officer positions opened up they had some 250 applicants send their resume and apply for the job. What does that tell you about what used to be verses what reality is today?

The management sucks at the Salisbury Police Department, no different from the Salisbury Zoo and Public Works. Weak wanna be managers who love to push their weight around and threaten staff, hire only young people who are very inexperienced because they know they'd be challenged by a more seasoned officer and the younger ones are easier to push around.

The days of PRIDE being a Salisbury Police Officer are gone, sorry to say. This is because Chief Webster and Barrie Tilghman have destroyed what was so good on the Eastern Shore. Watch how the Sheriffs Department gets everything the Salisbury Police Department USED to have. Let's see Barrie, the Salisbury Zoo USED to be one of the top 10 small Zoo's in America. Seems to be you're screwing EVERYTHING up in Salisbury since you came along.

I'll close on the Chief with his mentioning "Gang issues throughout the County." Chief, YOU DON'T WORK FOR THE COUNTY! The message was about Salisbury! Will you get off your high horse and learn to say that there are in fact Gangs in the City of Salisbury? Would you like pictures? There was NO mention of graffiti, no mention of two shootings in one day, (1-21-07) as it was a total puff piece on just how wonderful the City of Salisbury is doing.

Then there's Mr. John Jacobs, biggest ass kisser on earth. Oh, yes Madam Mayor. GAG! No discussion on the WWTP Sludge Pit and the progress there. All he spoke of was how things will be in the future. Again, all puffy stuff. They Mayor actually brought up a story about a small town in Arizona and how they had quite a bit more system failures than Salisbury does. Then she'd smile like even though Salisbury is screwing up so bad it isn't funny, it's not that big a deal.

The entire event was a joke. If it had anything good I truly would share it with all of you as Salisbury could really use some good promotions right about now. Watch it on PAC 14 again and you'll clearly see this was nothing less than the Mayor wanting to compete with the President of the United States in air time and unless you've got your head in the sand you actually know better and you'll want to throw up once you see it.

HOWEVER, it wasn't a normal cough at all! It sounded more like, Bull Sh*t, Bull Sh*t, coming from his mouth?

Mike Lewis Kicks Ass!

Last evening around 6:00 p.m. Sheriff Mike Lewis and a D.E.A. Team proceeded through with what they call a "No Knock Warrant" and entered into the home of Frank Wells living in Strawberry Village in Pittsville.

The Sheriffs Department rented a trailer next to the home of Frank Wells and continued surveillance until they knew it was time to make the bust.

I can tell you Mr. Wells was arrested but the details are not yet in on the entire project. I can tell you that whenever the D.E.A. is brought in there is enough evidence for the FEDS to believe there is state to state drug trafficking.

Oh, if only Webster had these kind of bal1s!

Speaking of Chief Webster, he sure didn't expose the "TWO" shootings on the 21st, 12 hours apart and next door to one and other in today's Press Conference with the Mayor. Oh, nor did The Daily Times for that matter. He also recognized that there are Gangs in the COUNTY as well.

Another Drunk Driver Goes Free

Today I sat in Court and was appalled and stunned by a decision made by Judge Robert Jackson.

A year and a half ago my girlfriend and I were riding our motorcycle following all the rules of the law including helmets and not at all speeding. We had not been drinking or under any other influence.

We were in an accident caused by a drunk driver. I was driving the motorcycle and had no responsibility for the accident and this was confirmed by the police report.

My girlfriend was in a coma and has since recovered but due to a brain injury she is unable to work, possible ever again. I received multiple orthopedic injuries in which both of us are effected for life.

Today Judge Jackson saw fit to give the 20 year old high school educated drunk 2 years probation. What was Judge Jackson thinking? 2 years probation for destroying the lives of 2 people and almost killing both of us?

I can only hope and pray that one day soon Judge Jackson will come to realize what a huge mistake he has made. I am personally convinced that Wicomico County & Salisbury are now like the old west. Anything goes any more. Crime, Graffiti, Political Corruption and so many worry recently about the Worcester County drunk driving incident. We almost died and the criminal gets off scott free.

Wicomico County & Salisbury need a good enema.

Wicomico County Neighborhood Congress Goes Public Today

The first photo is the very first meeting of this group back on 1-2-07 in County Executive Rick Pollitt's new Office.

The balance of the photos were taken this afternoon at East Salisbury Elementary School, located at 1201 Old Ocean City Road.

City Councilwoman Debbie Campbell and Mr. Rocky Burnett were present along with Jim Fineran.

Barrie Tilghman could not be present as she did not have a jacket thick enough to cover up properly. Besides the fact she wasn't invited, but that never stopped her before. It was quite nippy.

They explained that it's a volunteer organization and tries to get the community involved, that it's new to this area but has been done before.

The Daily Times stated earlier, "Camden neighborhood association president Rocky Burnett have been tapped by Pollitt to lead the congress." This is not true. Rocky is NOT president of the Camden neighborhood association. He's the President of the What A Guy Club.

People from across Wicomico County who are interested in participating in the Neighborhood Congress were asked to contact the County Executive's office, Rocky Burnett or Debbie Campbell. Those interested should submit a brief biography that includes their involvement in the community and contact information.

They Lined Up To Speak Last Night

With no gavel in sight, everyone was relaxed and expressed their thoughts without incident. However, the Mayor was making faces most of the time Terry Cohen was speaking. No one responded from the Council to the Mayor's faces so she cut it out, especially knowing I had the camera ready and I wasn't going to miss another opportunity to nail her. I'm hoping to catch some of it on PAC 14?

The woman in the first picture was obviously shocked the Mayor actually confronted her with a glass of water. It was very kind of Barrie to offer her the glass of water as it has probably been a good year since I've seen the Mayor actually do something nice for someone.

Wait until you see the story about last night on Delmarva Dealings! It's not up yet and I'm saving the story for him to share with all of you because he got such a kick out of it last night. To hear him tell this story was hilarious and I'm hoping he can put it into words on his Blog?

Admittedly, Paul Wilber's replacement was a far brighter star than he.

My personal guess is that Mike Dunn will not run again and as everyone witnessed last night, an evening without him is like peace on earth. No attacks, no gavels, no stupid smiles and no animosity anywhere in the entire room.

If I were to take another guess I'd say Mike Dunn was "out to dinner" with the old Mall owners as I do not understand his absence to have been pre announced.

Perhaps that explains John Pick's being absent as well? After all, Natleson called me directly last week to state he was NOT meeting with John Pick that evening I mentioned and the scam was covered up by the group of them stating they had misunderstood my question. I asked John Pick, "are you meeting with Natleson from the old mall today?" He replied, yes. Now they claim they I said, are you meeting with Matelson who supposedly runs the Marina.

OK, I'm game but what about the old mall portion of my question. They claim I never said that. Nevertheless, there were several key people missing last night with no explanation offered to anyone.

Anyhow, I doubt anyone on Barrie's team are going to explain what was truly going on last night as they simply claimed the old mall owners were on their way back to Baltimore. Is there a Bar or Restaurant named Baltimore around here?

If You Thought Developers & Politicians Were Bad Here, Wait Till You Read This Story!

As I was relaxing yesterday reading the Sunday Edition of The Washington Post I couldn't help but catch the front page article titled, "Influence of Developers, Allies Runs Deep."

It's no wonder Mike Dunn & Barrie Tilghman are so interested in "anything" to do with development in the City of Salisbury.

On Saturday I confronted Gary Comegys and I said, Gary, one of the biggest questions I believe will be asked during this campaign is, tell me anything exciting that you see coming along over the next 3 to 4 years for the City of Salisbury, besides development?

He stood there for a second and said, oh yeah, it's a good question and I can think of several things right off the top of my head. I stood there and I stood there and I stood there and the next thing I knew, while Gary still had that "I'm thinking" look on his face, he walked away.

Development is the future and probably the only future for the City of Salisbury. There's no new Crown Sports Center for kids. There's no new skateboard park planned. There's already bike trails around the City, so adding new pathways isn't really that big a deal. Is there even a YMCA in the City of Salisbury?

Nevertheless, there's no shining light at the end of the tunnel for Salisbury's future and I have to say Folks, what happened these past 4 years? Everyone needs to look into what has been done and it has been the biggest developer friendly environment the Eastern Shore has ever seen.

Read this article and get a grip as to what you can expect to see from the Dream Team and your Mayor because if there's a way to screw the Citizens while they smile in your face, this Team will do just that. They are desperate for the tax dollar because they overspent on everything and they have nothing left, hence no roads being paved in the past 5 years.
