Salisbury Police Officers Honored For Washington Street Fire

Officer Steve Dickerson & Officer John DiMare were also honored yesterday during the Salisbury Fire Department's 5th Annual Medals Day Ceremony.

The awards were the "Departmental Bronze Star" awarded to members who, in the course of firefighting or rescue operations, performance acts of exception intelligence and bravery, while saving, or attempting to save, the lives of others, with serious risk to themselves.

Also included in the Bronz Star Award was Assistant Chief John Black, Captain Joel McCroy, Firefighter Aaron Colegrove and Firefighter Johnathan Hitch.

Deputy Christian Peceraro Honored Again

I believe it was just about a year ago, (or so) this same Officer received the Officer of the Year Award in Baltimore.

Mistake In Post Yesterday

As I was made well aware that the post about a fatal accident on Rt. 13 yesterday was in fact an error, it turns out some guy was running down Rt. 13 naked as a jay bird and was wrestled down (with a fight) by a Police Officer and one passer by helping out. Once he was handcuffed the Sheriff's Department used a wool blanket and covered the man.

My guess is when my source for this information passed by, at that point the man was fully covered with a blanket and lying still on the ground, assuming he was dead.

I do NOT believe it is so horrible the other post went up as there are going to be times we're going to make mistakes. It's a Blog and it's Free! I chose not to drive to the scene as I've also decided I need to pick and choose what I'm going to actually head out to.

That being said, we're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused, (none) and we'll try to do better to please our free reading public. Think again before you send any more nasty comments. Quite frankly I found them pathetic.

The Salisbury Festival At Night

I don't know who makes up the schedule for this event but only having the beer and bands go from 4 PM to 8 PM on Saturday night is just flat out stupid. You'd think that after a quarter of a century long event would have a good idea as to what works and what doesn't and I just can't imagine the schedule offered as making any kind of good sense financially.

I'll continue by stating, look at the difference between the Pork in the Park event and the Salisbury Festival. For starters, GET THIS, the vendors were charged $400.00, (including power) at Pork in the Park. The Salisbury Festival charges a minimum of $700.00 and that does NOT include power!

The Police presence at both events was night and day. Pork in the Park only had Sheriff's Deputies while the Salisbury Festival had private security guards, Salisbury Police Officers, County Sheriff's Deputies AND Correctional Officers to boot!

Oh, and if you weren't aware, the Salisbury Festival costs YOU the taxpayer around $300,000.00 to pull off! I should not forget the difference between Rides and Tickets. In Salisbury, many Rides cost 3 tickets while these same Rides in Pork in the Park only cost 2 tickets.

In closing, the event was much smaller this year than it was last year. Last year you couldn't budge, seriously. It was a more social event last year but the economy is one part of it. Another part is the lack of respect towards local politicians. More and more people have become disappointed in what they're seeing and they're simply giving up. I expect a record turn out for the Mayoral Election.

Chamber Update

Dear Joe,

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Does the name A.S.A.P. come to mind when you read from this ad in this years Salisbury Festival Brochure?

Now I did some digging into this and I'm told Brad Bellachicco, (sp?) stated they didn't take any money from Ray Lewis and A.S.A.P.. By the time Salisbury News, (AND ONLY SALISBURY NEWS) found out about their participation, Brad claims it was too late to pull the advertising from the book. Not for nothing Folks, but BS!

I believe Brad placed Mr. Mark McIver in a HORRIBLE position by allowing Mark to put up a letter right here on this Site explaining how the Chamber had no involvement with Ray Lewis and A.S.A.P. and here we are with an ad for that company in the brochure.

Mr. McIver was doing what he thought was the honorable thing to do and he was thrown right in front of a steam roller! That being said, IMO, Brad should resign his position and or publicly apologize to Mark McIver here on this Blog. If he does not, I will have NOTHING to do with the Chamber and the future events they are involved with and or sponsor.

Oh, don't think you're off the hook just because Salisbury News won't promote you. Know that I will do my very best to counter those events by reminding good citizens as to why I have issues with the Chamber as well. We should rename the Chamber of Commerce, "ROBIN HOOD."

EXCLUSIVE!

Last night I was walking across the bridge near Station 16 when I heard a car racing down Market Street. I looked to the left because it just didn't sound right when all of a sudden this vehicle struck a parked car and then went airborne. I watched the headlights head straight up into the sky and how this guy came down on all four wheels is beyond me.

As you can see from the series of picture I've provided, the man was arrested for a DWI as he failed every sobriety test given to him, with many excuses as well. The Officer would say, count from 87 down to 68 and the guy would reply, Oh, come on, that's a really tough one. The one foot in front of the other thing, WHAT A JOKE! He stumbled and just couldn't pass the test. I do have to add this. The Salisbury City Police Officer conducting the test had to be the most professional Officer I had ever seen. No, I'm not kissing anyone's a$$ here, I'm serious. Every single Police Officer should take lessons from this guy because he was extremely polite and gave this guy every possible opportunity to re do anything he wanted. The final test he gave was the picture where he said, we're going to walk up to your vehicle at this moment and test your balance. Go ahead and face your car, lean forward and the next thing you knew the guy fell right over onto the hood. The Officer then said, we're now going to place these cuffs on your hands and place you under arrest for a DWI.

I truly feel sorry for the person who owns the red vehicle because that car is totalled! Thank God this happened on this particular road last night. This guy could have been on the opposite side of the Library and killed several people. Not to say this road wasn't busy either, because it was. I watched it from beginning to end and my hat is tipped to the Police Department and Fire Department for their quick response, (of course it was right outside the Fire Department's front door) but they were all very professional and in the end no one was hurt.

The Salisbury Fest Officially Opens

While the politicians lined up for the official ribbon cutting, many people had already started partying by tapping into the beer trucks and wine station. Nevertheless, it was a very nice ceremony, the Bands were fantastic but I must admit that the crowd was much smaller this year than last year. Maybe things will pick up tonight?

Barren Creek Fundraiser Today!

Today from 10am to 3pm at Peninsula Total Car Care Barren Creek Christian Academy will be hosting a car wash and bake sale. All proceeds will go to playground renovations for students who attend the Academy.

Recent update on the BOE Paint Issue and the Senior Prom

I received a call earlier today from Tom Field who stated that he looked into the lead paint issue and has assured me that there are no lead paint issues at the two schools with which the two citizens had issues. He further stated that he had conversation with the Principal Fruitland Primary in ref. to the paint chips. He stated that the maintenance people there will be going back to clean the area again this coming week. He added that the area that had been powerwashed which caused the paint chips will be repainted soon as well.

Mr. Field advised that he e-mailed the lady responsible for the Q&A segment which was to be posted on the BOE website. Prior to getting a response, he also contacted the webmaster who advised that he was not aware that a "Q&A" section was supposed to have been added. A short time later, the person responsible contacted Mr. Field and apologized stating that she didn't realize that it was a high priority. According to Mr. Field, she is now well aware that the issue is one of high priority and will be taken care of upon her return to work.

I can only attest to what I was told folks. I am not posting these things with the intent of pointing fingers. This is a civilized attempt to bring back the fundamental understanding that public employees answer to the taxpayer. Plain and simple. The taxpayers see these issues and want them fixed - they should be fixed not avoided. They only way to assure that this occurs is to bring it up and stay on it.

Now.......How many of you feel that that the word "Youth" is being systematically stripped from the "Wicomico Youth and Civic Center"? How many of you think that Wicomico County High School students should have their Senior Proms at the Civic Center instead of having to leave the county to go to UMES? Wasn't it donated to the County for the benefit of the youth of the county?

Salisbury University's Relay For Life Next Friday!

In one week, Salisbury University will kick off its' annual Relay for Life on Friday May 2 at the SU Intramural Fields. As of this post, SU has raised nearly $60,000 for the American Cancer Society. Salisbury University is one of the top collegiate institutions for Relay for life. Over $100,000 was raised alone last year.

Students and campus organizations gather at the intramural fields forming a large oval track with their booths. You can find anything from bake sales to games, entertainment to flinging pies at each other to raise money for their Relay Teams. Besides the fundraising the students gather all night tossing Frisbees, playing catch, kick ball, and tons of other games in a fraternal gathering. Relay is quite the social event!

COUNTY EXECUTIVE OBSERVES ARBOR DAY WITH TREE PLANTING

Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., joined by school and county officials, planted a tree in observance of Arbor Day at the newly-renovated Prince Street Elementary School in Salisbury. Pollitt said he chose the location because, “There is a close relationship between renewing our natural environment at the same time we renew our schools. Both will have a significant impact on the world we leave to the next generation.”

“Arbor Day reminds us of how fragile our natural environment has become and that it is our obligation to future generations to assure the survival of the trees,” said Mr. Pollitt in anticipation of the event.

Wicomico Budget - It's All Because of the Revenue Cap

If you actually believe this, then voluntarily send more money in to the county.

Today's Daily Times provides evidence that the mainstream media loves big government and those that love to spend the money of the average taxpayer. Reading Greg Latshaw's piece almost makes me want to change my voter registration.

According to the Daily Times, Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt, and even Wicomico County Council President John Cannon there is just no place to cut. Not only are they mistaken, Pollitt's ongoing parlor trick of blaming the county's revenue cap for every conceivable fiscal problem has grown old to the point that even a die hard cap opponent such as myself is no longer in favor of its repeal.

Pollitt's embrace of the O'Malley tax increase is evidence that a Pollitt administration should not be permitted to increase property taxes. Pollitt's initial claim that his support of the Governor's tax plan was "to protect funding to Wicomico County" has blown up in his face. Not only are we paying higher taxes, funding to the county is expected to fall. This is why Pollitt and the County Council are now faced with a "flat budget".

Are there alternatives? Of course there are. For starters, county employees do not have to receive a 3.5% pay hike. I know, it's a "cost of living" adjustment. How many voters working in the private sector are receiving pay hikes of 3.5%? On a recent trip south I learned that the city of Virginia Beach is providing it's employees a hike of 1.5%.

If the council shows some political courage and cuts (or eliminates) this pay hike they will have accomplished several things. First, they will show their constituents that taxes are levied to pay for a county government that will provide those services that are necessary. This means things like public education (which Maryland citizens long ago determined is a necessary service) and law enforcement (to provide for public safety and to protect private property - which is the FIRST charge of government according to political philosophers going back to Locke).

Is it necessary for taxpayers to subsidize myriad non-profits? Valid arguments can be made for entities such as the Humane Society because they provide services that the vast majority of citizens deem necessary and the government would have to provide these services in their stead. Others are more difficult to justify. Sure, there are constituencies for each and every one. Sure, these are "nice" things to have and make us all feel warm and cuddly. Are they necessary? Are they part of the county's governmental mission?

The Board of Education budget, taking up the largest share of the county budget, is an obvious place for substantial cuts. I realize that it is difficult to trim ALL of the fat from a large, bureaucratic enterprise such as the WCBOE. I also realize that a greater effort should be made. A recent example was posted recently. A large enterprise such as the WCBOE should be managed more like business. Poor performance should not be provided blanket protection. If an employee is not doing their job they should be dismissed rather than left where they are or transferred off to another department (which seems to be the preferred method of our local school system). ANY pay increases should be awarded based on performance rather than seniority. EVERY position should have an express purpose and a measurable performance standard. The economic boom of the 90's was due primarily to increases in private sector productivity. Can you imagine what kind of surplus the county would run if it demanded similar increases in productivity?

Last, but certainly not least is the need to cut taxes. Councilman Joe Holloway (R-5) called for a cut in the county's income (piggy-back) tax rate earlier this year. Hopefully the council will vote for adequate spending cuts to pay for such a reduction. Even if the tax cut is small, the message would be loud and clear - the Wicomico County Council cares about its taxpaying citizens.

War on the Shore Tommorrow!

The annual War on the Shore between the men's lacrosse teams of Salisbury and Washington College of Maryland is tomorrow at Seagull Stadium at 1pm. This tradition is always a hard fought game for the Charles B. Clark Cup which will not disappoint. The Gulls are 17-0 overall and 7-0 in the CAC. The Shoremen are 12-1 overall and 7-1 in the Centennial Conference.

Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser Tonight!

If you love your military vets from 4-close at the Monkey Barrel will be the Wounded Warrior Project which helps families in paying for financial bills that they incur. Also many programs such as job placement, mentoring, and outdoor activities are funded through these fundraisers. Proceeds will go directly to the WWP.

There is no cover before 7pm and they will have 6 bands including Adam and Johnny, Pressing Strings, Skitzo Calypso, Stolen Element, Josh from Goatbag, and Poison Orchid. Movin On Up, To The West Side

Allow me to start with countering a comment I saw yesterday referencing the furniture in the new Firehouse. The Volunteers offered to pay for ALL of the furnishings in the new Station, Gordy & See refused to accept the money. Instead, they chose to put it on the Taxpayers back in the sum of around $70,000.00.

Many Firefighters are already laughing at the Ikea style furnishings, stating it just doesn't look right and it's certainly not the style of furniture they would have chosen. I looked at it and I can't say as I blame them. It works though and that's all that matters.

After his ESPN debut, ESPN became supporters of Fernando and called to say that they want him to fight on the network again soon. They even tried to get a date at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, but it was booked on the date they wanted.

Paint in the schools and other BOE issues

Today I spoke with Tom Field, A/Supt of Schools for Wi. Co. I expressed my displeasure with the fact that the "Questions and Answers forum" was never implemented. Mr. Field stated that he was embarrassed and "assumed" that it had already been implemented and was up and running. He further advised that the Lady responsible for setting it up is presently out of town and that he would make certain that it will be up and running upon her return. We'll see.

I asked him about the paint issue at East Salisbury of which we posted pictures last week as well as the paint chips at Fruitland Primary. Mr. Fields stated that the paint is peeling off of the wall in the gymnasium due to the failure of several mortar joints in the exterior block work allowing rain water to penetrate. They have gotten estimates and just last week the BOE approved to money for the repairs. Mr. Fields didn't know when the repairs would be made but believed it should be very soon. He was unaware of the paint chips at Fruitland but stated that he will look into it and let me know about the clean-up. He will also look into whether or not there has been a lead abatement procedure performed at these locations if required.

I did have conversation with Mr. Field in reference to the High School Senior Proms being held at the Civic Center. To be fair, I am scheduled to meet with Gary Mackes next Tuesday and would like to get his input in the event there are any....uh....misunderstandings which may exist before I post anything. I want to be fair and give both the BOE and Parks and recs. to have the opportunity for input.

I would say this though. Last year approx. $16,000 was figured into the budget to "supplement" the senior proms.....to offset the cost of the Civic Center. It was eventually cut out. I would proffer that with the savings of about half a million dollars which will not be used to supplement the fuel costs of an unnamed local business, our County Exec. and Council should be able to carve this minuscule amount out of this windfall of savings which will, by the virtue of the math, exist when calculating this years budget. C'mon y'all. I know that every department has there hand out for a piece of that pie but can't the kids get a few crumbs for their prom? We'll just have to see.

Today' History Lesson

A short history lesson on the privilege of voting ...

The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty prison guards wielding clubs and with their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of "obstructing sidewalk traffic."

They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air..
They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.

Thus unfolded the "Night of Terror" on November 15, 1917 (a mere 91 years ago), when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote.

For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their food--all of it colorless slop--was infested with worms. When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks until word was smuggled out to the press.

So, refresh my memory... Some women won't vote this year because--why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work? Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining?

Last week, I went to a sparsely attended screening of HBO's new movie "Iron Jawed Angels." It is a graphic depiction of the battle these women waged so that I could pull the curtain at the polling booth and have my say. I am ashamed to say I needed the reminder.

All these years later, voter registration is still my passion. But the actual act of voting had become less personal for me, more rote. Frankly, voting often felt more like an obligation than a privilege. Sometimes it was inconvenient.

My friend Wendy, who is my age and studied women's history, saw the HBO movie, too. When she stopped by my desk to talk about it, she looked angry. She was--with herself.

"One thought kept coming back to me as I watched that movie," she said. "What would those women think of the way I use--or don't use--my right to vote? All of us take it for granted now, not just younger women, but those of us who did seek to learn. "The right to vote" she said, had become valuable to her all over again.

HBO will run the movie periodically before releasing it on video and DVD.

I wish all history, social studies and government teachers would include the movie in their curriculum. we are not voting in the numbers that we should be, and I think a little shock therapy is in order.

It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy. The doctor admonished the men: "Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity."

Please pass this on to all the women you know. We need to get out and vote and use this right that was fought so hard for by these very courageous women.

FIRST DISTRICT CITIZEN'S FORUM IN MARDELA

COUNCILWOMAN SAMPLE-HUGHES SCHEDULES FIFTH DISTRICT ONE CITIZEN’S FORUM

Wicomico County Councilwoman Sheree Sample-Hughes will hold the fifth in a series of citizen’s forum meetings on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 P.M. at the Mardela Fire Department. The previous District One forums have been in Hebron, Delmar, San Domingo and Salisbury. The program will focus on the activities of the recently concluded session of the Maryland General Assembly.

Councilwoman Sample-Hughes said that she will be joined by Delegate Rudolph Cane, County Council President John Cannon and Sheriff Mike Lewis.

Wicomico County District One includes Delmar, Hebron, San Domingo, Salisbury- West Side and Mardela Springs. Mrs. Sample-Hughes said the theme of the forums is “Creating Community Connections.” She commented that the purpose of the forums is to provide citizens with an opportunity to speak face-to-face with their elected officials. She further noted that this is the continuation of the fulfillment of her campaign promise to hold quarterly meetings throughout District One.

Mrs. Sample-Hughes said that “I encourage as many of my constituents who possibly can to join us for this important meeting.”

Tax Guy Is Right

The photo above was a quick shot coming over the Rt. 90 Bridge heading into Ocean City yesterday around 3:00 PM. Many buildings simply disappeared in the heavy fog. Tax Guy Said.....

"Yesterday, the fog rolled in late, and I was shocked that there was no Worcester county delay. I drove up Coastal Hwy, and kept calling my wife asking if she's sure there was no delay.

Today, she calls me with the delay and I'm just as shocked, cause it was bright sunny and clear on my commute.

It all can be explained with the fact that the fog decision is made around 5am. Yesterday, fog later, today, fog earlier. Just bad timing."

One Year Ago Today

It was one year ago today former City Council Member Lyn Cathcart again confronted Mr. Tim Chaney and started screaming and yelling at him, interrupting the ongoing City Council Meeting. Tim was truly minding his own business and had just sat down after publicly speaking and Lyn simply went off.

Now if Joe Albero would have done that, I would have been escorted out in handcuffs and no one can say that's not true. However, Louise Smith never even stopped the meeting and never confronted Lyn and or demanded she be removed from the meeting.

Lyn continues to come to meetings and be disruptive each and every time and I'd ask that the other Council Members demand she be removed if she ever gets out of line again. I should remind everyone that during the campaign, Tim went to her door and Lyn had her very large dog go after him. She had no control over the dog.

If I were Tim I'd demand the Officer in the room have her arrested if she ever confronts him again.

Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser Tommorrow!

Tomorrow starting at 4pm at The Monkey Barrel will be hosting 7 bands to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Proceeds and donations will go towards numerous financial costs families meet as well as numerous projects which benefit wounded veterans. This is a major national organization!

There will be food and drink specials from open to close and there is no cover before 7pm. This event is 21+ and non college students are welcomed to attend. Bands include Stolen Element, Skitzo Calypso, Pressing Strings, and Poison Orchid. I'm sure there will be a few surprises throughout the night!

So come out to have a great time for an amazing cause! Barrel is once again is delivering another great fundraiser for area and national charities!

Congrats to The Capitals!

If anyone thought the Capitals were making the playoffs with 15 games left in the season they would have been called crazy. If anyone picked the Capitals to make the playoffs they still would be called crazy for picking the longshot.

Washington fans can rejoice in a captivating season which had more drama than BALCO and Spygate combined. Winning a near impossible and improbable 11 out of their 12 final games they made their first playoff birth since 2002-2003 season. They took Philadelphia to the max last night loosing in overtime to a Joffrey Lupul power play goal 6:06 into the OT session. This was the second game the Caps brought to overtime in the series and lost it (game 4 of the series).

Alexander Ovechkin had a goal and an assist in the loss and had a total of 4 goals and 5 assists in the 7 game series. He led the league in the regular season with 65 goals and 112 points. Being a playoff bound team enhances the chances of him winning the MVP this year.

This was type of season the O's definitely need; a cheerful ending. Any market, especially with a fledgling team not making the post season, is bolstered by being competitive in the playoffs. A competitive playoff series helps the Capitials in A, it attracts better players to a team which can now be considered a Stanley Cup Contender (See Huet, Green, and Ovechkin); B attracts new fans and brings back those closet fans who have been out to lunch the past couple of years; C gives hope to both players and fans.

The Capitals, both management and players, need to keep this going throughout the summer. I'd like to see Cristobal Huet in net for the whole season, Olie The Goalie (Olaf Kolzig), because Olaf is at the end of his career. It's time for the changing of the guards in net. They need to keep this team young. The addition of the seasoned vet Seregei Federov will help even more after an off season of work with the team. He had a goal and 4 assists in the playoffs as well as 2 goals and 11 assists in 18 games in the regular season.

We'll be seeing them in the playoffs next season...

There are less than eight months until the election, an election that will decide the next President of the United States. The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each other our support for the candidate of our choice. It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike.
If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive with your headlights on during the day. If you support Obama or Hillary, please drive with your headlights off at night.

The North Prong

The Urban River II Project is called "II" because the first stage actually started in the mid 1970's with another Executive Director at the Greater Salisbury Committee, including a different Mayor in City Hall.

The 1970's group cleaned up what they used to call the East Prong which previously was an abandoned Oil Terminal area with Barges, weeds and junk. Today it is an open area along the River Walk Park, a pedestrian bridge and businesses actually started facing the river, rather than backing to it. Since then a Hotel was built as well as a residential health facility.

In the late 1990's, GSC started a process for helping in the clean up of the North Prong to help it become more of an asset to the community. In recent years, GSC put together a task force which included some 20 people representing the North Prong Property Owners, GSC Members, Community Leaders, City Government and others to look at the area, work on visioning for what everyone might see in the future, 20 years from now.

Ultimately this group went to the City in which they received State Assistance in helping develop a professional plan for the area only after input from the community. Ideas, suggestions, venting, were all a part of this meeting held in the new Fire Station Tuesday night. I've been told the company hired has a past of suggesting 99% of every project they have worked on similar to this one was pushed through for development.

Some were concerned that new Condos along the river are NOT selling. As a matter of fact, only 3 out of 42 in one building have been sold. This independent group is offering ideas but were hand picked to deliver exactly what this Mayor wants to hear, Surprise, surprise!

Only time will tell what will happen there but property owners there are hot. One of the property owners complained how he was forced to remove perfectly good storage tanks or he would lose his property to the City. He did so and then came other violations. The interesting part about his situation is, there are several other property owners in that immediate area who also have storage tanks exactly like his and theirs are still standing!

It's all about who you know!

Inacom Trade Show A Huge Success

While more than 1,000 people showed up for this event, each vendor was extremely pleased by the attendance. Like it or not, Wicomico County is growing and this should be a sign of the future.

1 Hour School Delay

Accept It & Move On?

While this has NO reflection on the paid and or volunteer firefighters, upper management is obviously going to sign off and acept the cracks in the new $10,000,000.00 Fire House Floors.

The series of photos provided clearly shows this cracks length and over time will more than likelyshift and get worse. It seems that doesn't matter to both See & Gordy as that may tap into their reserves from such a great bargain deal of $10 mil.

Then he'll be in Ocean City LIVE on WQMR. I don't care what anyone says, this guy has been to our neck of the woods 40 to one compared to Kratovil and some challenge this man as not being from the Eastern Shore!

Start listening to what this man has to OFFER, not say. We need Mr. Andy Harris in Congress and it's time we start making better decisions towards representation throughout Congress, the Senate and especially locally.
