The removal of a racist nickname won’t end Daniel Snyder’s problems.
Not long after the Washington owner announced that his team would no longer be known as the Redskins, a series of cryptic tweets from local reporters emerged, warning of an imminent bombshell set to shake the franchise to its core.
“The warped and toxic culture of the Washington Football Team is about to be exposed in a sickening fashion . . . Again,” wrote CBS’ Jason La Canfora, a former team beat reporter.
Julie Donaldson of NBC Sports Washington also wrote, “What’s coming is disappointing and sad.”
Though it remains unclear what will surface, several other reporters have also been tipped off to news that could be devastating to the team.
“There is much more going on . . . than a name change,” Scott Abraham of ABC 7 wrote. “. . . And it’s not good. I did not get specifics, but get ready people.”
JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington shared a similar tweet.

Trump: The Incumbent Outsider
In his Rose Garden remarks Tuesday from the White House, President Donald Trump set the terms of engagement he will be taking against Joe Biden in this Fall's election.
"America lost nearly 10,000 factories while Joe Biden was vice president," the president said. "Think of that: 10,000 factories."
"So Biden was here for 47 years. Eight years — the last eight years, not long ago — as vice president, he said, 'One in five miles of our highways are still in poor condition.' Well, we’re doing a good job in highways, but why didn’t he fix them three years ago?" Trump asked the gathered media and cable news cameras. "Why didn’t he fix them?"
Trump went on to quote Joe Biden's remarks from earlier in the day. "'Tens of thousands of bridges are in disrepair and on the verge of collapse.' Well, it’s probably not a right number, but we have bridges that should have been fixed. Why didn’t he fix them? He was there for eight years with President Obama. Why didn’t they fix them?"
"And he didn’t do any of the things, but now he says he’s going to be president, and, as president, he’s going to do all the things that he didn’t do," Trump concluded.
It's a devastating and powerful campaign message for a man challenging the incumbent administration on its failures. But the really amazing thing is that Trump is the incumbent.
Donald Trump is a president running for re-election as an outsider.
Remarkable.

Physician Explains Why Closing Schools in the Fall Doesn't Agree with the Science
One of the biggest questions during the coronavirus outbreak at the moment is whether or not children will be back in their classrooms this fall. Some fear that it's too risky, that children won't know how to social distance, and that they will spread the virus to one another. But that fear is unwarranted, explained Dr. Scott Atlas on Fox News on Wednesday.
"If you believe in the science, the science says that 99.7 percent of deaths in the U.S. are in people over 15, 99.9 percent are in people over 24," Dr. Atlas, a former Stanford neurology chief, explained.
Also noteworthy is that the hospitalization rate for influenza is much greater than COVID-19 for children, according to the CDC.
So what is this really about?

Waters: Trump Dog-Whistles So Supporters Know ‘He’s About the Power of Whites’
Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America 3,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said President Donald Trump had been “dog-whistling throughout his tenure” to tell his supporters that “he’s about the power of whites.”
Reporter T. J. Holmes asked, “The president of the United States tweeted not too long ago, a video you could hear someone say “white power.” He said he didn’t know that was the case. He took it down. Also, just recently, he sent out another message saying that Black Lives Matter, that message being painted on 5th Avenue here in New York, he called it hate speech. I was hoping to get your reaction to the president referring to that as hate speech.”

Some Resort Businesses Hit Midsummer Pause For Variety Of Reasons
OCEAN CITY — As the peak season hits its midpoint in what is an unprecedented summer, some businesses in the resort over the last week have closed entirely or altered their operations voluntarily out of caution for their guests and staff.
Over the course of the last week or so, a handful of resort businesses have closed for a couple of days or reverted back to an outdoor dining and carryout model for a variety of reasons. In some cases, one or more staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 and the temporary closures allow them to get other staff tested and do a deep cleaning of the facilities.
In other cases, restaurants and bars hitting the pause button for a couple of days to give their beleaguered staff a brief respite and to deep clean their facilities and get ready for the stretch run through the rest of July and August. In either case, the temporary closures are proactive and precautionary for the most part and some affected businesses are already reopened or will be shortly. The subject was broached at Monday afternoon’s Ocean City Tourism Commission meeting.
“We’ve seen a lot of our restaurants shutting down temporarily or suspending the indoor portion of their operations,” said Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association Executive Director Susan Jones. “For the most part, they’re doing it voluntarily as a precautionary measure. They want to keep their guests safe and keep the staff safe and give people a chance to breathe.”

Worcester County Considering One Week In School, One Week Distance Learning Rotation
NEWARK – Worcester County education officials are exploring face-to-face instruction, distance learning and a hybrid of the two as they prepare for the 2020-2021 school year.
In a school board meeting Tuesday, officials outlined the Worcester County Public Schools’ Responsible Return model. The plan notes that while the traditional educational environment would be preferable, officials are anticipating continued public health restrictions in the fall and continue to explore available options.
“September is rapidly approaching,” Superintendent Lou Taylor said. “Our timeline is starting to condense quite a bit. It’s my hope that all this work at least for the most part will be done so the next time I meet with the board we can give them a final version of our plan.”

White Marlin Open Looking To Use 3rd Street Park As Primary Viewing Venue For Weigh-Ins; Shuttle Service From Convention Center A Possibility
OCEAN CITY – How different the White Marlin Open will look next month became clear on Tuesday as organizers said the proposed “satellite” viewing spot downtown at 3rd Street is planned to be the primary venue.
Earlier this summer, in an effort to avoid the typical crowds at the host Harbour Island marina grounds, White Marlin Open (WMO) officials pitched the municipal park area on the bayside between 3rd and 4th streets as a satellite viewing area with large viewing screens for the daily weigh-ins and family-friendly concessions and vendors.
Madelyne Rowan, who organizes the annual event with her family, told the Mayor and Council this week the WMO is really pushing the 3rd Street waterfront park area as the primary venue for this year’s event.
“Third Street is our goal,” she said. “People will still go to 14th Street, but we want to direct them to the venue downtown. Being able to move people from 14th Street to 3rd Street would be helpful.”

Walmart, Best Buy, CostCo will require Mask for all starting July 20
Following in the footsteps of CostCo, Best Buy and Starbucks, moments ago Walmart - the world's largest retailer - became the latest national chain to require all customers to wear masks.
"As the number of confirmed cases has spiked in communities across the country recently, so too have the number and types of face covering mandates being implemented," Walmart said in a news release Wednesday. About 65% of its more than 5,000 stores, including its Sam's Club locations, are located in areas where there is government mandate on face coverings.
"To help bring consistency across stores and clubs, we will require all shoppers to wear a face covering starting Monday, July 20. This will give us time to inform customers and members of the changes, post signage and train associates on the new protocols."
The change will be enforced on July 20, and comes even as there is federal mandate to wear a mask exists, however the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says everyone "should wear a cloth face cover when they have to go out in public" adding that "face coverings are meant to protect other people."

Back to School"No Thanks" says millions of Newly Homeschooling Parents
With dehumanizing COVID-19 restrictions awaiting students at schools, many parents are opting to keep on homeschooling...
Next month marks the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year in several US states, and pressure is mounting to reopen schools even as the COVID-19 pandemic persists. Florida, for example, is now considered the nation’s No. 1 hot spot for the virus; yet on Monday, the state’s education commissioner issued an executive order mandating that all Florida schools open in August with in-person learning and their full suite of student services.
Many parents are balking at back-to-school, choosing instead to homeschool their children this fall.
Gratefully, this virus seems to be sparing most children, and prominent medical organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics have urged schools to reopen this fall with in-person learning. For some parents, fear of the virus itself is a primary consideration in delaying a child’s return to school, especially if the child has direct contact with individuals who are most vulnerable to COVID-19’s worst effects.
But for many parents, it’s not the virus they are avoiding by keeping their children home—it’s the response to the virus.
In May, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued school reopening guidelines that called for:
Strict social distancing tactics
All-day mask wearing for most students and teachers
Staggered attendance
Daily health checks
No gym or cafetaria use
Restricted playground access and limited toy-sharing, and
Tight controls on visitors to school buildings, including parents.

Leo Terrell Reveals What Caused Him to Leave the Democratic Party
Civil Rights attorney Leo Terrell, a prominent Democrat turned Trump supporter, has come under fire from his colleagues for refusing to support Joe Biden and Black Lives Matter. Despite that, Terrell said he isn't in favor of the modern-day Democratic Party and what they stand for.
"The Democratic Party in 2020 is as follows: it's been hijacked by Black Lives Matter and that's why I've shifted away from the Democratic Party. Two major reasons: One, Joe Biden made the assumption that if you're not black, that if you're black you have to vote Democrat. I find that insulting and offensive to every African American because we don't vote as one group," he told the Daily Caller. "Secondly, defunding the police is absolutely ridiculous. Democrats believe in law and order. Those are two major reasons I left the Democratic Party."
According to the civil rights attorney, the Black Lives Matter movement lacks any substantive policies and their only goal is to defeat President Trump. It was Biden's comments about blacks needing to vote for the Democratic Party that made Terrell question his values.
"When Joe Biden made that comment, I had to question my value and find out whether or not the Democratic Party and I still were compatible and we're not, because everything that's going on in 2020 with Black Lives Matter, with defunding the police, with making the assumption that if you're black you have to vote for the Democrat, that is not what I stand for as a civil rights attorney," he explained.
Even though Terrell believes the officers involved in George Floyd's murder were in the wrong, he still believes in law and order and the need for law enforcement.

NYPD Chief of Department was with group at time of attack, and suffered a hand injury
A protester assaulted a group of New York Police Department (NYPD) cops, including the highest-ranking uniformed member of the department, on Wednesday during a demonstration on the Brooklyn Bridge, according to police and footage of the attack.
The NYPD announced in a tweet around 12:30 p.m. that at least three officers were hurt by someone swinging a long object at the officers while they were placing someone under arrest on the opposite side of one of the bridge’s fences.
A police department spokesperson said the Chief of Department, Terence Monahan, is the other white-shirt member of the department seen in the video with the group at the time of the attack and suffered a non-life-threatening hand injury.

It Starts: Mortgage Delinquencies Suddenly Soar At Record Pace
OK, it’s actually worse.
Mortgages that are in forbearance and have not missed a payment before going into forbearance don’t count as delinquent.
They’re reported as “current.” And 8.2% of all mortgages in the US – or 4.1 million loans – are currently in forbearance, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. But if they did not miss a payment before entering forbearance, they don’t count in the suddenly spiking delinquency data.
The onslaught of delinquencies came suddenly in April, according to CoreLogic, a property data and analytics company (owner of the Case-Shiller Home Price Index), which released its monthly Loan Performance Insights today. And it came after 27 months in a row of declining delinquency rates. These delinquency rates move in stages – and the early stages are now getting hit:
Transition from “Current” to 30-days past due: In April, the share of all mortgages that were past due, but less than 30 days, soared to 3.4% of all mortgages, the highest in the data going back to 1999. This was up from 0.7% in April last year. During the Housing Bust, this rate peaked in November 2008 at 2% (chart via CoreLogic):

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan spoke with Dave Anthony on the "Fox News Rundown" podcast Thursday, where he discussed what many local leaders did wrong during the recent civil unrest that transpired in the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis.

Phil Kerpen tells Laura Ingraham number of total, positive tests took off across US 'around June 10'
Committee to Unleash Prosperity President Phil Kerpen suggested on "The Ingraham Angle" Wednesday night that the increase in reported coronavirus cases is largely due to states counting "repeat tests" as though they are from separate individuals.
"We have this huge discontinuity in the data around June 10 where you can just see the number of positives and the number of tests take off everywhere in the country," Kerpen told host Laura Ingraham. "And, you know, states were told to do this.
"The panic purveyors [were saying] that you have to test everyone. 'Mass testing is the greatest.' Then we start seeing these huge numbers of tests, including huge numbers of positives," he went on. "And it's 'Oh, my God, panic. Shut everything down again based on those numbers.' But a lot of the tests are repeat tests."

Breaking: Trump Admin Wisely Strips CDC of Control of Coronavirus Data — Information Will Now Be Sent to Central DC Database
The Trump administration announced new guidelines on Wednesday. Starting today hospitals will be ordered to bypass the CDC and send ALL COVID-19 patient information to a central database in Washington DC.
This comes after TGP’s Tuesday report on the likely fraudulent numbers coming from the CDC.
The CDC is just the latest government entity that has become politicized by the American left.
The CDC is pushing shoddy policy based on propaganda and opinion.

Harris Passes Bi-partisan H-2B Language in Appropriations Bill
WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Andy Harris (MD-01), in conjunction with Reps. Chellie Pingree (D-ME) and Henry Cuellar (D-TX) successfully inserted language in the 2021 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Appropriations bill that will allow DHS, in consultation with the Department of Labor, to release additional H-2B visas in fiscal year 2021 beyond the statutory cap of 66,000 should a labor shortage exist.
Congressman Harris made the following statement:
“I am pleased that the Appropriations Committee adopted our bi-partisan amendment to aid local small businesses that rely on seasonal labor. Next summer’s labor market is currently unpredictable given the COVID pandemic and ensuing economic recovery. This provision will merely give the executive branch the flexibility to release additional temporary worker visas should there be a demand next summer, which will give some assurance to the countless seasonal businesses in the tourism and seafood processing industries across the First Congressional District. This program utilizes temporary workers to support American jobs and is important to the economy of the Eastern Shore.”

Navy SEAL who oversaw bin Laden raid says America's biggest national security issue is the K-12 education system
While some former US military leaders have had offered witty one-liners when asked which national security threat keeps them up at night, one former commander had an unconventional answer: "K-12 education."
Retired Adm. William McRaven, a former US Navy SEAL commander and head of US Special Operations Command, said he was "the biggest fan" of the younger generation of Americans and that education in grade school played a broader role in national security.
"When I was chancellor, I would have a lot of town hall meetings, or meetings with our alumni, and that question always came up," McRaven, who was chancellor of the University of Texas System, said at the Aspen Ideas Festival on June 29. "And they would always ask ... 'What's your No. 1 national security issue?'"
"I think my answer always surprised them," he added.

Larry Hogan lights into ex-mayor, Obama and more in blunt account of 2015 Baltimore riots
Hogan, amid 2024 rumors, is releasing a memoir later this month
EXCLUSIVE: Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, in his upcoming memoir titled "Still Standing," dispenses scathing criticism of former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and others over their handling of the city's 2015 riots, an event that foreshadowed the widespread racial unrest seen in other American cities in recent weeks.
Several chapters addressing the 2015 riots were obtained by Fox News in advance of the book's publication later this month.
The Republican governor describes the rapid mobilization of the state police and National Guard as he and his advisers realized the seriousness of the situation brewing in Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray in police custody, and he shares his mindset as he dealt with the crisis just months into his first term as governor. He also talks about the human side of attempting to heal the divided city, quoting advice he received from then-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie about the need to be a "consoler in chief."
But Hogan, whose book has fueled speculation about possible 2024 ambitions, also doesn't hold back criticism of officials he says either didn't help the situation or made it worse, with Rawlings-Blake front and center.

This is What “Vote Blue No Matter Who” Gets You.
Let’s talk about how Andrew Cuomo continues to fail New York State.
In the midst of a global pandemic, historic economic crisis, and the largest civil rights movement in history, the past four months — needless to say — have felt like nothing less than a blur.
My home state of New York, and downstate in particular, as we all know was hit particularly hard, with tens of thousands of people succumbing to the deadly virus. In spite of the fact that he oversaw one of the largest outbreaks not just in the United States but the entire world, I must admit that Governor Andrew Cuomo’s ability to position himself as a national hero in the eyes of the media throughout the duration of this crisis was an incredibly well crafted coup of the narrative surrounding the virus’ impact on the state.
Over the course of the past few months Cuomo has certainly made his share of controversial decisions, not the least of which was mandating that nursing homes in New York State accept residents positive with coronavirus. But even with the good ideas, such as mandating that nursing home staff be tested twice a week (now once a week), Cuomo still managed to allow his mediocrity overshadow even the best of intentions. It should come as no surprise that there was no state aid offered to the nursing homes to help cover the costs of these tests. At the nursing home where I’m currently employed, it cost the company that owns our facility upwards of $60,000 dollars a week. An amount — it’s worth noting — that has been staggering in part because Cuomo, in his infinite wisdom, mandated a fifteen dollar minimum wage while slashing the medicare budget that pays our checks by one million dollars for the facility where I work.
But as we have entered in to yet another month with tens of millions of people throughout the country currently unemployed, many of whom are unable to put food on the table for themselves and their families let alone write their rent checks, yet another example of Andrew Cuomo’s devastating mediocrity has emerged, and with brutal consequences.
As many might already know, the Governor placed a 90 day moratorium on rent payments that has now been extended another two months. Unfortunately, as to be expended, these measures don’t go nearly far enough. The money, of course, will still be due.

Cop who vowed to 'shoot protesters through door of his home' is charged with manslaughter after accidentally shooting dead fellow officer who came to his front door to pick up a patrol car
An Arkansas police officer who allegedly told a colleague that he'd shoot through the door if any protesters came to his home has been charged with manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a fellow officer who knocked on his door, authorities said Thursday.
Calvin Salyers, a 33-year-old officer in the Little Rock suburb of Alexander, surrendered on Wednesday in the June 3 fatal shooting of Officer Scott Hutton, the state police said.
Hutton, 36, went to Salyers' home to pick up a patrol car and was shot through the door after knocking on it, a state police investigator said in an arrest affidavit.
When Hutton arrived at Salyers' home, he texted him, 'are you awake,' according to an affidavit. When he didn't get a response, Hutton walked to the front door and knocked.
