Young, healthy women who experience amenorrhea, ovarian failure, and infertility have likely been damaged by Merck’s HPV vaccine. A new study published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health analyzed data on pregnancy outcomes, comparing women who received an HPV vaccine with those who did not. The data analysis is titled, “A lowered probability of pregnancy in females in the USA aged 25 who received a human papillomavirus vaccine injection.”
The study, uninfluenced by pharmaceutical money, analyzed data on 8 million women aged 25-29 living in the U.S. from 2007 and 2014. According to the analysis, conception rates would have fallen by 2 million if 100 percent of the females in the study would have received the HPV vaccine. The study warns that the HPV vaccine has a negative influence on fertility and more research is “warranted.”
Despite mounting evidence of harm, Merck seeks to fast-track Gardasil on new age group
Despite these grave concerns, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently fast tracking the process by which the Gardasil-9 is approved for use in women and men ages 27 to 45. Merck’s application for approval has been granted priority review, and is scheduled for an approval date of October 6, 2018. So, much important information about Gardasil’s risks will be suppressed as the FDA moves quickly on behalf of Merck’s business interests.

Trump On Putin Meeting: Nothing Will Be ‘Good Enough’ For Dems, Establishment Media
President Trump tweeted Sunday about his excitement for the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and he also went after the media for their criticism.
The president said, “Unfortunately, no matter how well I do at the Summit, if I was given the great city of Moscow as retribution for all of the sins and evils committed by Russia” it still wouldn’t be enough, according to the media.
He continued his strong rhetoric about the establishment media, calling them the “enemy of the people.”

Ex-Black Panther leader to get $2.2M from Oakland after city councilwoman's attack
A former leader of the Black Panther Party will receive $2.2 million from the city of Oakland, Calif., to settle a 2015 case in which she was physically attacked by a city councilwoman.
The settlement, equivalent to the salaries of about 30 entry-level police officers, consists of $1.2 million in damages for Elaine Brown and a similar fee for her lawyers. Oakland’s city council approved the settlement Tuesday without any debate, the San Francisco Chroniclereported.
The payout, to be paid from the city’s coffers, comes after more than two years of legal battles, in which the city rejected the ex-Black Panther leader’s request for $1 million following her confrontation with councilwoman Desley Brooks.

The Racism of the Alleged Affronted
At the Consortium of Higher Education for LGBT Resource Professionals, one learns that at an upcoming webinar, "queer and trans people of color are welcome to join and engage in or observe the space. However, we do want to provide a content warning that in these spaces we hope white folks will process our thoughts and behaviors in a learning environment so we can address them and discuss and [sic] tactics of decentering whiteness."
The topic is "How our institutions center whiteness as a dominant narrative and how we can decenter whiteness at an organizational level. Facilitators: Jesse Beal, they/them, Director, Women's and Gender Center, Amherst College" and "Kayla Lisenby, they/them or she/her, Assistant Director, LGBTQ Center, Wake Forest University."
Under the social justice rubric, being born white makes one evil, plain and simple. In fact, according to Dr. Kathy Obear, one can either be a good white ally or a bad one. Thus, everything is seen through the prism of race.

Public university seeking 'practitioner of feminist activism' professor
A job posting at Portland State University is raising some eyebrows among pro-lifers.
The public research university is seeking to hire a professor to teach classes on “reproductive justice” and “social justice activism,” but the school says the instructor is not required to support abortion, Campus Reform reported.
“We know that phrases like ‘abortion’ are not as popular, so pro-choice groups often call their work reproductive justice or say it is about reproductive health to mask the true aim,” Students for Life spokesman Matt Lamb told the campus watchdog organization.
But the Department Chair, Windston Grady-Willis, told Fox News that “the job posting does not indicate that applicants must have viewpoints of any kind.”
He added that none of the positions in the department "require applicants to hold certain viewpoints as a condition of hiring." Something he said would violate academic freedom.
“There is no mention of abortion in the posting. That's why it says reproductive justice, not abortion rights,” university spokesman Christopher Broderick said.

Officials: Russian firm used in Maryland election systems
A vendor that provides key services for Maryland elections has been acquired by a parent company with links to a Russian oligarch, state officials said Friday after a briefing a day earlier from the FBI.
Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch made the announcement at a news conference in the Maryland State House, a gathering that included staff members of Gov. Larry Hogan.
"The FBI conveyed to us that there is no criminal activity that they've seen," Busch said. "They believe that the system that we have has not been breached."
In a letter Friday, Hogan, Busch and Miller asked the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for technical assistance to evaluate the network used by the elections board.
"It is with concern that I learned that information provided to the Maryland State Board of Elections by federal law enforcement this week indicates that a vendor contracted by the Board to provide a number of services, including voter registration infrastructure, had been acquired by a parent company with financial ties to a Russian national," Hogan said in a statement.
Miller and Busch also said they have asked Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh to review existing contractual obligations of the state, and asked for a review of the system to ensure there have been no breaches.
The vendor, ByteGrid LLC, was purchased by a Russian investor in 2015 without knowledge of Maryland state officials, officials said.

Pirro: Strzok ‘the Personification of the Deep State Itself — Where Fascism Rules’
During her Saturday opening statement for Fox News Channel’s “Justice,” Jeanine Pirro castigated “pompous, arrogant, indignant, sarcastic, smug, condescending, defiant and unapologetic” FBI agent Peter Strzok for his behavior at this week’s congressional hearing.
Pirro said Strzok was both the “personification of the righteous left” and the “personification of the deep state.”
“Strzok seems to share cardinal Comey’s affectation about being a selfless servant of the people, even though he seems to simultaneously hold us all in contempt,” stated Pirro.

Groups Linked to George Soros Behind Campaign to Repeal Trump Tax Cuts
Left-wing financier George Soros figures prominently in a campaign by progressives to repeal the Trump tax cuts, according to a review of the campaign’s allied organizations and their tax records by The Daily Signal.
The campaign, called “Not One Penny,” first came together almost a year ago with what The Washington Post reported was “a seven-figure ad buy in eight Republican-held congressional districts.”
All of the districts, the Post reported, include “large numbers of white voters without college degrees, who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but have not historically been passionate about tax cuts.”
The “direct action and activism” of the Not One Penny campaign, the Post reported, closely model the Tax March held April 15, 2017, and successful efforts to block repeal of Obamacare in the Senate.
Several organizations listed as partners by Not One Penny have tangible ties to Soros, the Hungarian-American billionaire and hedge fund manager.

Source: NATO Members Not Living Up to Afghanistan Troop Commitments
NATO member and partner nations have fought side-by-side with U.S. forces in Afghanistan for 17 years, after Al-Qaeda attacked the U.S. in 2001. But in recent years, the alliance has struggled to meet its troop commitments.
The U.S. currently has about 15,000 troops in Afghanistan — 8,500 troops supporting the NATO-led Resolute Support mission to train-and-advise Afghan forces, and about 6,000 more as part of a counter-terrorism mission.
But while NATO members and partner nations have committed to sending about 8,000 forces for the train-and-advise mission, the current number actually on the ground is about 4,000, according to a source familiar with military operations in Afghanistan.
The year before, when NATO had committed about 7,000, there were only about 2,000 actually on the ground, according to a former U.S. official.

Israel prepares for war on two fronts, Gaza and Syria
Israel and Gaza appear close to full-scale war today for the first time since 2014, despite the announcement that both Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza had agreed to a ceasefire mediated by Egypt. However, it's unclear whether the ceasefire is holding.
According to Israel's military (IDF), since Friday afternoon Hamas has launched 200 rockets and mortar shells across the border into Israel, causing property damage and three injuries.
As a precaution, the IDF instructed Israelis living near the Gaza border to remain within a 15-second radius from bomb shelters or safe rooms.
In retaliation, Israeli aircraft on Saturday attacked more than 40 targets in Gaza in the most extensive daytime assault since the 67 day war with Gaza in 2014. The IDF says that targets included urban warfare training facilities, weapon storage warehouse, training compounds, command centers, and offices in Hamas's Battalion headquarters. This was the first time recently that Israel struck targets in the heart of Gaza city. Palestinians said two teens were killed and 14 injured in the Israeli strikes.
Every Friday after midday prayers for several months, Gaza has been holding demonstrations along the border fence with Israel, with the stated objective for Palestinians to exercise their "Right of Return," to regain the lands where their ancestors had lived, prior to the 1947 war between Arabs and Jews that followed the partitioning of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel. The demonstrations have been mostly peaceful, but activists have also tried to break through the fence, with the intent of attacking Israelis in their homes.

Indictments Coming for Hillary
It is July 15, 2018. Q has not posted since July 4, 2018. Greg Hunter interviews former CIA officer Kevin Shipp. Hillary's unprotected basement server was set up to access all of her State Department accounts. She did it intentionally. She violated several Title 18 Statutes including espionage.
She had connections to foreign intelligence agencies, and she intended for people to have access to her computer. At least 30,00 emails went to a foreign entity. There had to be a lot of people helping her. She has fixers that have been with her for over 20 years. James Comey is one. Loretta Lynch is another, and Robert Mueller is the third.
Remember it was Robert Mueller who oversaw Uranium One. Through Uranium One, Hillary formed an international super pac to funnel money from the Uranium One deal into the Clinton Foundation - 140 million worth. Two billion dollars was funneled into her presidential campaign over 4 years. Donations went to secret offshore bank accounts and are not bound by US law, since it was foreign money. Foreign donations into Uranium One cannot be subpoenaed by Congress. Basically Uranium One was a front company for Hillary to launder money globally, and not be under US law.

The Bible remains a 'powerful, transformative tool' in American culture
The Bible remains a fixture in American culture and lifestyle according to the “State of the Bible” report, an annual poll conducted by the Barna Group, a California-based research organization, and the American Bible Society.
“The results show that, despite shifting cultural trends, Americans still read the Word, and it remains a powerful, transformative tool in their life. These and other snapshots are included in our list of top seven findings from this year’s State of the Bible report,” the survey said.
Overall, half of Americans are “Bible users” — they read it, pray with it or consider biblical content through online or recorded forms. The survey found that Bible use has remained relatively consistent since 2011.
“Two-thirds of Americans express at least some curiosity to know more about what the Bible says. A similar number of adults (63 percent) are interested in knowing more about who Jesus Christ is,” the survey said. “Just over half of adults who used the Bible in the past week (53 percent) say they give a lot of thought to how it might apply to their lives.”
Similar numbers say that reading the Bible boosts their own spiritual growth, as well as their inclination to “show more loving behaviors to others.’

After 30 years, police say they’ve captured a child killer who left a sickening trail of taunts
The message was slashed onto the weather-beaten planks of a barn in the empty farmland not far from where the girl’s body had been found.
Police in northern Indiana stared at the jerky handwritten scrawl in May 1990, realizing this was the most significant clue to drop in the region’s most publicized unsolved crime. In 1988, 8-year-old April Tinsley had been found murdered and sexually assaulted.
Two years later, police were now studying the white building on a stretch of lonely rural road, fields running to the horizon on all sides. The message appeared to be a confession — as well as a taunt and a threat.
“I kill 8 year old April M Tinsley,” the barn read, according to a recently filed police affidavit. “[D]id you find the other shoe haha I will kill again.”
Although the message initially failed to steer investigators to Tinsley’s killer, it was not the last word from the alleged murderer. As the case stalled, and hundreds of suspects were targeted and cleared, the girl’s assailant would continue to haunt the Fort Wayne area. Grotesque messages — left with used condoms and Polaroids — were sent to other little girls who the child killer claimed were next on his list.
This reign of terror also failed to direct police to a suspect. But the horrific messages did provide investigators with the DNA they would eventually use to zero in on the killer — albeit once the right advanced science and technology came along.

Michael Goodwin: Peter Strzok's arrogance is the product of a corrupt FBI
Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad.
Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted.
Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of his malignant presence on the FBI payroll?
My answers can be summarized in four names: James Comey, Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray. They are chief culprits in the death of public trust in the Department of Justice.
The cause of death was murder, and it was an inside job.
Strzok, whose voluminous texts with his office lover show him to be a king of partisan bias, rose to leadership positions under former FBI director Comey — and it shows. Comey’s self-righteousness was his ultimate undoing, but not before he led the agency into a double death grip of corruption and rank partisanship.

Illegal Immigrant Beheads 13-Year-Old Girl in Alabama – Media Blackout
The U.S. mainstream media is refusing to report on a barbaric crime involving an illegal immigrant working for a Mexican drug cartel who allegedly forced a 13-year-old Alabama girl to watch the murder of her grandmother, before driving the child into the woods and cutting her head off with a knife.
Two men, Yoni Martinez Aguilar and Israel Gonzalez Palomino, are being held in the Madison County Alabama Jail on charges of capital murder. Palomino is also being detained on hold by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
This series of events didn’t occur in a violent cartel-run city in Mexico or South America. It occurred just outside of Huntsville, Alabama. Drug cartels have been allowed to cross the border and are now operating with impunity in the United States.
Astonishingly, the mainstream media has failed to report on the barbaric crime. Mainstream media outlets are now choosing to suppress horrific news stories involving illegal immigrants out of fear the news will convince ordinary Americans that President Trump’s border policies are necessary in 2018.

Former CIA Officer: Clinton "Involved In Biggest Treason In History"
Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says what Hillary Clinton did with her charity and Uranium One while she was Secretary of State was a crime for the history books.
Shipp explains, “Hillary Clinton used this to launder money in foreign banks so it wasn’t subject to U.S. laws, congressional subpoenas or FOIA demands for the evidence. This was done to launder this money globally into the Clinton Foundation so the U.S. government could not examine it at all.”
Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller was the head of the FBI while the Uranium One deal was being done by Clinton and the Russians. One fifth of U.S. uranium production was bought by the Russians in a deal Clinton pushed and approved. The Clinton Foundation received more than $140 million from some of the same Russian players who were involved with Uranium One. Why didn’t Mueller stop the deal? Shipp says,
“Mueller is either a complete moron, which he is not, or he overlooked the biggest counterterrorism cases in U.S. history. It involved Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, Uranium One and, of course, the destruction of all the emails and evidence and her secret server, and on and on and on it goes, and he (Mueller) ignored it all.”

US, North Korean Generals Meet At DMZ To Talk About Sending Home America’s War Dead
U.S. and North Korean military officials reportedly met Sunday to discuss the repatriation of the remains of American war dead.
The U.S. team was led by Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael A. Minihan, the chief of staff for the U.N. Command, and the North Koreans sent a two-star general to the negotiations, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency. Sunday’s meeting marks the first time in nine years that generals from the U.S. and North Korea have sat down together for talks, Reuters reported.
The discussions at the border, which lasted about two hours, focused on the only concrete component of the agreement signed by President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at their landmark summit in Singapore. The agreement clearly states that “the United States and the [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.”
The president falsely claimed at a rally in late June that North Korea had already returned the remains of a couple hundred fallen service members. “We got back our great fallen heroes — the remains sent back today. Already, 200 got sent back,” Trump said. At that time, the U.S. military was preparing for the possible return of the remains. One hundred coffins were sent to the border in preparation for a potential transfer.

2018: Democrats lead GOP by 12 million registered voters
Democrats hold a massive voter lead in states that require party registration, a gap of 12 million that could be key to whether the party takes control of the House and Senate in the fall midterm congressional elections, according to a new analysis.
Overall, 40 percent of voters in 31 party registration states are Democrats, 29 percent are Republicans, and 28 percent are independents, according to a new report of July numbers from the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. The states include several with key battles over House seats such as California, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
The lead is significant, said Rhodes Cook’s analysis in Center Director Larry Sabato’s “Crystal Ball” newsletter, because in the past presidential election the majority party in 24 of the 31 states won, especially among Republican states.

House Conservatives Move Forward with Plans to Impeach Rod Rosenstein
House conservatives have begun planning the impeachment of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to reports.
Leading Freedom Caucus members Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) are laying the groundwork to bring articles of impeachment against Rosenstein, as House investigators accuse the Justice Department of stonewalling their requests for documents related to the agency’s surveillance of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Reports of the plan come after Rosenstein announced charges Friday against 12 Russian intelligence officers for hacking offenses during the 2016 election and pushed back on allegations that FBI agents are leaking details of the probe to reporters. The Russians are accused of hacking into the computer networks of the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton – then releasing stolen emails on the Internet in the months before the election.
Rosenstein recently testified before House lawmakers on the details about the Justice Department’s surveillance tactics during the Russia investigation. Underscoring their merited frustration, Republicans briefly put the hearing on hold so they could approve a resolution on the House floor demanding that the Justice Department turn over thousands of documents within a seven day period.

Mark Warner calls for supervision of Trump, says Putin may 'take advantage'
Senator Mark Warner said Sunday that he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin may "take advantage" of President Trump during a Monday meeting in Finland, and called for other U.S. officials to supervise the president.
The Virginia Democrat said additional U.S. representatives were needed in the meeting to advocate for U.S. positions and to "make sure that the Americans — for that matter, the world — gets a straight story of what happens" during talks.

Disposal Of Wind Turbines Proving To Be A Major Environmental Concern
Thousands of aging wind turbines will eventually need to be decommissioned, but the disposal of this “green” technology could prove to be a dirty job for environmental regulators.
While not nearly as productive as coal, natural gas or nuclear, wind turbines can churn out power more efficiently than solar panels, making them a more viable option of the renewable energy sector. The European Union has stood out as a global leader in utilizing this technology, with wind already its second largest power source. Germany — the first European country to wholeheartedly embrace wind energy — has spent over $200 billion on a sweeping initiative to transition itself away from fossil fuels and toward renewable energy.
Besides a host of problems that occur during a wind turbine’s lifetime — such as intermittent power production and the killing of thousands of large, rare birds — Germany is now dealing with a another pressing issue: What is to be done with a wind turbine once it’s reached the end of its life cycle? There are over 28,000 onshore wind turbines in Germany. More than one-third of these aging turbines will need to be decommissioned by 2023.

Democrat National Committee chief Perez demands....
The head of the Democrat National Committee on Friday joined calls for President Trump to cancel a scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin following the indictment of 12 Russians for hacking.
DNC Chairman Tom Perez said it “defies logic that Putin did not know of this” and said that Mr. Trump’s attempts to undermine Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the election — which led to the new charges announced Friday against Russian intelligence officers — has hurt the nation.
“President Trump should absolutely cancel this meeting with Putin,” Mr. Perez said. “Putin is not a friend of democracy. He is not a friend of the United States and the president should have never taken this meeting to begin with.”
Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin are slated to meet over the coming days in Finland.
“If he does do this meeting he should do nothing less than hand Putin these indictments and the previous indictments and demand immediate extradition of all the individuals,” Mr. Perez said.

Police Try To Take Veteran's Guns Without A Warrant. He Didn't Let Them.
Iraq war veteran Leonard Cottrell Jr. says that last month New Jersey police tried to confiscate his firearms without a warrant — and he did not let them take them.
Two police officers visited his home "because his 13-year-old son had made a comment at school about the Millstone Middle School's security, and the officers wanted to confiscate Cottrell's firearms as part of an investigation," NJ.com reported.
Cottrell, who legally owns a shotgun and a handgun, is a disabled U.S. Army veteran who served multiple tours during "Operation Iraqi Freedom."

Nikki Haley Shames Washington Post Into Issuing Correction After Spreading False Reporting About Her
The Washington Post issued a correction for misquoting U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Friday.
Haley demanded on Saturday that Washington Post policy reporter Jeff Stein “retract” his claim that she said there were 250,000 U.S. citizens living in poverty.
Stein and fellow Washington Post reporter Tracy Jan wrote a story titled “The Trump administration has a new argument for dismantling the social safety net: It worked” on Friday. Stein tweeted the 250,000 figure, which Haley says she “never said”, with a link to his story on Friday.
“The Haley number above, I should note, is for ‘extreme poverty,'” he tweeted less than 10 minutes later on Friday, without deleting the incorrect tweet. The incorrect tweet received 299 retweets. The correction tweet received eight.

Disabled community criticizes Starbucks for ditching plastic straws
The disabled community is pushing back on Starbucks’ decision to ditch plastic straws and replace them with sippy cup-like plastic tops, claiming that straws are the only way for some disabled individuals to consume food and drink.
"Plastic straws are an accessible way for people with certain disabilities to consume food and drinks, and it seems the blanket bans are not taking into account that they need straws and also that plastic straw replacements are not accessible to people,” Katherine Carroll, a policy analyst at the Center for Disability Rights, told Time magazine.
Advocates for the disabled community say Starbucks could have opted for straws made from biodegradable paper, or ones made from metal that could be reused when cleaned. But even then, sometimes those options may not be suitable for people with certain disabilities, according to founder of the One in Five disabled rights campaign Jamie Szymkowiak.

WaPo Hands Out Pinocchios To Democratic Attacks On Kavanaugh
The Washington Post, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal are all calling out dubious attacks on Brett Kavanaugh from Democrats and liberal activists.
After Trump nominated Kavanaugh to replace Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is retiring at the end of July, Democrats and the media immediately started digging for dirt.
Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress, and Richard Painter, a Democratic Senate primary candidate in Minnesota, both claimed that Kennedy coordinated his retirement with President Trump. The pair, bolstered by reporting by the NYT, suggested a conspiracy involving Kennedy’s son, Trump, and a billion dollar loan.
The Washington Post handed out four pinocchios on Thursday — the maximum amount — for the “thinly sourced” claims.

Strzok by a Farce
Congress should either use its contempt power or shut down the investigations.
An investigation is one of two things: a search for the truth, or a farce. The House is conducting a farce. That fact was on full display during ten hours of testimony by Peter Strzok, the logorrheic lawman who steered the FBI’s Clinton-emails and Trump–Russia probes.
The principal question before the joint investigation of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees is whether the Democratic administration’s law-enforcement and intelligence arms strained to manufacture an espionage case against the Republican candidate, having buried an eminently prosecutable criminal case against the Democratic presidential nominee.
It should be straightforward to answer this question, provided that the investigative process has the one attribute central to any credible probe: the capacity to compel the production of evidence and testimony, with the corollary power to hold witnesses in contempt for defiance.
The House investigation has devolved into farce because it lacks this feature.

Black Slaves, Muslim Masters-- An Appeal to American Blacks
Arabs and Muslims have black slaves today and hardly anyone, especially the leftist class which preens about its devotion to human rights, is screaming about this.
In five African nations — Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Nigeria, and Sudan — blacks serve Arab/Muslim masters. They are bought and sold like furniture. They are worked until they drop, tortured, raped, forcibly converted to Islam, and murdered. This has been going on for many years, but it only occasionally makes today’s headlines.
This is an open secret. Anyone can Google “blacks sold as slaves in Libya” and see video of slave markets. I know Africans from Sudan and Nigeria and Mauritania who want to tell this story but they cannot get platforms.
Below is a short clip of the testimony of an escaped slave from Sudan, Francis Bok. Here is his incredible story told in long form. I have decided to help these people tell their story. The people who need to hear it most are American blacks.

Affirmative Action on the Ropes?
A lawsuit against Harvard threatens to expose what “diversity” really means.
A case is currently under litigation that however it is decided, will likely reach the Supreme Court. There the diversity industry may face a challenge that brings the institutional racism of affirmative action and its baleful effects to an end.
In 2014, an organization called Students for Fair Admissions sued Harvard University for excluding Asian students who were far better qualified than other applicants who had been admitted. Last November the Justice Department opened an investigation into Harvard’s admission practices, and is threatening to sue the university, throwing its support behind the plaintiffs. The plaintiffs have viewed admission records through discovery, and want them publicized because the evidence for arbitrary and discriminatory evaluations is so obvious no trial is necessary. More recently, the Trump administration has rescinded Obama’s 2011 rule advising universities to use race as a criterion in admissions. Finally, the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy creates an opening for a Constitutionalist judge who will not, as Kennedy has serially done, subordinate the law to politics or social engineering.
Such portents are heartening, for race-based policies of the last forty years have rested on a preposterous justification on the basis of “diversity,” the “compelling state interest” used to violate principle and law. Indeed, the word recurs like a mantra in Supreme Court decisions. In the 2016 Fisher vs. University of Texas case, for example, Anthony Kennedy in his majority opinion wrote, “It remains an enduring challenge to our nation’s education system to reconcile the pursuit of diversity with the constitutional promise of equal treatment and dignity.”

Ticks that carry Lyme disease are spreading fast
Think you live in a place that's free from disease-carrying ticks? Don't be so sure.
Citizen scientists found ticks capable of transmitting Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses in dozens of places across the United States where the pests had never previously been recorded, a new study reports.
All told, disease-carrying ticks were detected in 83 counties where they'd never been found before across 24 states.
The numbers reflect a rise in tick populations across the country, said study author Nate Nieto. He's an associate professor with Northern Arizona University's department of biological sciences.
"People should be aware of ticks and tick-borne disease, even when they may think there's not a recorded incidence of a tick in a county," Nieto said. "These things, they're not obeying borders. They're going by biology. If they get moved there by a deer or bird or people or pets, they're going to establish themselves and start growing."

California Dems humiliate incumbent Dianne Feinstein by endorsing her radical opponent in general election
The radical left’s domination of the activist base of the Democratic Party became painfully obvious to Senator Dianne Feinstein last night, as the party handed its endorsement to Kevin De Leon, whom she faces as her opponent in November. Thanks to California’s “jungle primary” system, the two top vote-getters in the primary election appear on the November ballot, so no Republican option will exist for voters. It will be Feinstein, a 4-term incumbent with a huge war chest to spend, versus De Leon, who wants to abolish ICE and implement other aspects of the radical agenda.
It was activists who turned out in numbers that powered De Leon to his victory. Phil Willon writes in the Los Angeles Times:
De León, a former state Senate leader from Los Angeles, received 65% of the vote of about 330 members of the state party’s executive board — more than the 60% needed to secure the endorsement. Feinstein, who pleaded with party leaders meeting in Oakland this weekend not to endorse any candidate, received 7%, and 28% voted for “no endorsement.”
In the primary election, which drew a much larger sample, Feinstein handily defeated De Leon, with 44% of the vote to De Leon’s 12%. But thanks to a fragmented field, that 12% was enough for De Leon to grab second place and make it to the November general election. Now, it will become a contest between the establishment party figure, who is 85 years old, meaning that she would be over 90 by the end of her term, if elected, and the radical base’s champion, who is 34 years her junior, at 51. Incidentally, his actual birth and legal name is Kevin Alexander Leon, but in order to make it clear to low information voters that he is Hispanic, he adopted the name Kevin de León.

Teen Sentenced To 10 Years For Striking Cops With Vehicle
SNOW HILL — A Seaford, Del. man, who pleaded guilty in March to first-degree assault and other charges following an incident last September when he struck two law enforcement officers in a drug deal gone bad, causing the officers to fire their service weapons at the vehicle, was sentenced last Friday to 15 years, with all but 10 suspended.
Last September, Antonio Ambrosino, 18, allegedly accelerated his vehicle toward and collided with an Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officer and a Worcester County Sheriff’s deputy during an apparent drug deal. The struck officers were forced to fire their service weapons at Ambrosino’s vehicle as it sped away following the collision. Ambrosino was ultimately taken into custody after jumping into the bay around 41st Street following a multi-agency pursuit.
Last November, a Worcester County grand jury indicted Ambrosino on 15 total counts including attempted first-degree murder of an Ocean City Police officer, first-degree assault on the same OCPD officer, first-degree assault on a Worcester County Sheriff’s deputy and a member of the Worcester County elite drug enforcement unit known as the Criminal Enforcement Team. Ambrosino was also indicted by the grand jury on various drug and weapons charges.

Autopsy Finds Local Police Chief Died From A Fentanyl Overdose
The recent death of an Ohio police chief was the result of a fentanyl overdose, an autopsy report released Friday by a local coroner determined.
Authorities in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, found Kirkersville Police Chief James Hughes Jr. dead in the bathroom of his home on May 25, along with a plastic sandwich bag containing cocaine residue and two syringes that later tested positive for fentanyl, a synthetic opioid roughly 50 to 100 times more powerful than morphine. Hughes was police chief for little more than two months before his death, reported WCMH.
The autopsy report, issued by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, said Hughes died from “acute intoxication by fentanyl,” which they found to be the result of an accidental overdose.

Four Israelis Wounded as Gaza Terror Rockets Slam into Home, Synagogue
Ynetnews reports: A family of four Israelis were wounded by shrapnel from a Gaza rocket that landed near a home in the city of Sderot on Saturday evening. Another rocket landed near a synagogue in the city.

Will Hillary persist in 2020? Her actions suggest ‘yes’
There’s been buzz circulating lately that Hillary Clinton may still have her eye on the Oval Office and is considering stepping back in the ring to take another shot at the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Because quitters never win, or something.
On its face, it sounds like pure insanity. However, she’s spent the last year and a half fixated on the 2016 election, traveling all over and telling anyone who will listen why it’s not her fault she lost.
She even went so far as to write a book, “What Happened.” Her publisher could have saved a few trees and sent her a two-word email - you lost.
Perhaps the basket of excuses she’s been carrying around is really her misguided attempt at trying to rehab her image and set the stage for round three in 2020. When you think about it that way, the idea she’d actually run again sounds less like pure insanity and starts to sound absurdly believable.

Netanyahu: No end to Gaza strikes until Hamas ‘gets the message’
Palestinians fire more than 100 projectiles into Israel, hit synagogue
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Saturday that Israel would step up its strikes on Gaza until the Palestinian terror groups halt all violence coming out of the coastal enclave.
Netanyahu said that after consultations with Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and the IDF chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot it was decided to take “powerful action against Hamas terror.”
“The IDF hit Hamas with the harshest blow since Operation Protective Edge and we will intensify our reaction as much as necessary,” Netanyahu said Saturday evening, after the IDF attacked dozens of targets in the Strip on Saturday, amid relentless rocket fire from Gaza, in the most extensive daytime assault since the 2014 conflict.
“If Hamas does not understand the message today, it will understand tomorrow,” Netanyahu said.

Inside Israel's raid to seize nuclear documents in Iran
Israeli agents covertly extracted documents detailing Iran’s nuclear program in a dramatic 6½-hour operation in Tehran in January, removing a trove of materials that included partial designs for a nuclear warhead, senior Israeli intelligence officials said.
The Israeli team secretly reached the warehouse holding the materials and broke in during a tight time window when it knew the building would be unguarded, the officials said. To avoid drawing attention to the nondescript facility, Iran hadn’t posted full-time guards, they said, but rather relied on alarm systems that the Israeli agents disabled.
The Israeli operation was first revealed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at an April press conference in which he declared that the stolen documents proved Iran had lied for years in claiming it didn’t have a nuclear-weapons program.

Police say Gregory Longenecker, 51, of Reading, Pennsylvania, was found dead under a bulldozer that an officer and a game commission employee were using to search for him in "thick underbrush" on Monday.
Local police arrived at the scene on state game lands in Berks County, Pennsylvania around 10 a.m. after a game commission employee saw a car "parked well off the road in a field," State Police said in a release.
Soon after police arrived, two men came out of the underbrush and fled on foot. One was taken into custody and the other, Longenecker, escaped, police say.

Trump 2020, outside groups raise $32.7 million in just 3 months, small donors rule
President Trump’s re-election campaign and groups backing his agenda raised nearly $33 million in just the last three months, an explosion of support driven by small donors, the groups have reported to the Federal Election Commission.
Trump and Vice President Mike Pence’s re-election campaign raised $8.3 million and, when added to the money collected by its two associated groups, the total was $17.7 million in the second reporting quarter. The campaign has $33 million on hand.
It also sped up its shift to small donors. In the new report, it said that 98.5 percent of fundraising was from small donors, though the total was $2.3 million less than the first quarter.

Maryland Ranked As One Of The Most Dangerous States For Kids Online
MARYLAND (WJZ) — A recent study reveals that Maryland is ranked eight out of 10 on a list of the “Most Dangerous States for Kids Online.”
The Internet Service Partners released a report titled “Safest and Most Dangerous States for Kids Online” on July 11, which analyzes the most recent youth statistics and cybercrime reports related to malware infection rates, youth victims of internet crime, state education rank, cyber-bullying laws, and youth mental illness.
Although most people may think online safety is solely based on children’s behavior, it also has to do with where you live.
All U.S. states have an anti-bullying law, but not every state recognizes cyberbullying and electronic harassment as part of that law.

CNN Calls President Trump a racist (again)
Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” network counter-terrorism analyst Philip Mudd reacted to President Donald Trump criticizing Europe’s immigration policies.
During an interview with British tabloid The Sun, Trump said, “I think what’s happened to Europe is a shame. I think the immigration allowing the immigration to take place in Europe is a shame. I think it changed the fabric of Europe. And unless you act very quickly, it’s never going to be what it was, and I don’t mean that in a positive way. I think you’re losing your culture.”
Mudd answered, “This is not about culture. This is about race. I guess if we don’t want immigration in the United States we get rid of little Italy and Irish out of Boston, Mexicans out of the Southwest and rid of Asian Americans out of the west coast and my hometown which was revitalized by Cubans, they’ve got to go home too.”
He continued, “The difference he’s talking about, and I see this as a white guy, it’s brown people and black people going into Europe, people from embattled states in Africa and people form the Syria conflict. If we want to talk about this straight, we shouldn’t talk about culture. We ought to talk about race. It’s a white guy who is a rich guy from Manhattan saying I don’t like people coming in who don’t look like us.”

Former DNC Chair Brazile: DNC Allowed Russian Hackers to Steal Data
Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller indicted 12 Russian military officials days before President Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Rosenstein also planned his press conference at the same time President Trump was meeting with the Queen of England.
With the 12 Russians indicted Friday, the corrupt Mueller team has now indicted 31 individuals and 3 companies, with more than 80% of the indictments related to Russians who will never be prosecuted.
But dirty cop Rosenstein forgot to mention the DNC allowed the Russians to infiltrate their servers.
In her 2017 book, “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House,” Democrat operative Donna Brazile admitted the DNC allowed alleged Russian hackers to steal datafrom the party’s servers.
Donna Brazile says in her new book the Democratic National Committee (DNC) went against professional advice and sat idly for a month while Russians stole data because primaries were still underway in a number of states.
In May, when CrowdStrike recommended that we take down our system and rebuild it, the DNC told them to wait a month, because the state primaries for the presidential election were still underway, and the party and the staff needed to be at their computers to manage these efforts,” Brazile wrote in her new book, “Hacks.”

A Letter To The Editor 7-16-18
It appears that Sunrise Capital Investment has finagled a grant from the city of Salisbury to get water & sewer run out to the Walston Mobile Home Park. I guess that means the park will be annexed into the city of Salisbury. I wonder if that grant money has to be paid back? Company out of Florida gets a city grant that saves them a couple million dollars in water and sewer upgrades that they would of had to pay for out of their pockets but instead gets to utilize tax payer money to get it all done. Now when they sell the park in three or four years they and their investors walk away laughing all the way to their bank. If they don’t have to pay this grant back to the city, we’ll isn't that some shit.
Student Debt Bubble Expands As Parents Do More Of The Borrowing
Not so long ago, student debt was mostly the responsibility of students. That is, you paid for college with loans and then paid off those loans with the proceeds of the good job you got with an advanced education.
These days it’s a little different. The cost of higher education is soaring, the jobs available to college grads don’t pay as much, relatively speaking, as they used to, and the size of loans available to students – though huge – don’t cover the full cost of many degrees.
One might expect these changes to lead more students to work for a few years and save up, or choose a cheaper degree, or eschew college altogether (as a lot of successful people now recommend) and substitute work experience for a diploma.
Some of that is happening but apparently the biggest change is that parents have stepped in to cover the difference between what their kids can borrow and the cost of a degree. As the chart below illustrates, until just a few years ago, the average debt of students exceeded that of students’ parents. But post-Great Recession, parents have given up trying to moderate the cost of their kids’ education and started doing the borrowing themselves. They’re now taking on the majority of new debts, and the gap is widening dramatically.
