Cory Booker Demands All Trump Rallies be Cancelled, ‘Breeding Ground For Racism’

Never let a crisis go to waste, right?

The left is using the back-to-back mass shootings as an opportunity to attack the 2nd Amendment and now they’re coming for 1 A.

Democrat Senator and 2020 hopeful Cory Booker (NJ) demanded Trump’s Manchester rally next week and all future rallies be cancelled.

According to Cory Booker, President Trump and his supporters should not have 1st Amendment rights.

“[T]hese rallies serve as a breeding ground for racism and bigotry that inspire white nationalist attacks like the one in El Paso on Saturday,” Cory Booker said in a statement.

Cardin: 'No Justification For Private Ownership Of Assault Weapons'

Sen. Ben Cardin said there is "no justification for private ownership of assault weapons," Monday at a town hall held at an Annapolis retirement community, the Capital Gazette reports.

Sixty residents of the Ginger Cove retirement community gathered for a town hall meeting in which Cardin addressed the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, the Gazette says.

"People's lives lost by a white supremacist nationalist who believes in hate and acting out on hate," Cardin said. "We have seen this happen too frequently in our community, way too frequently. We saw it in Annapolis, the tragic loss at The Capital Gazette. We've seen it happen in individuals' acts of violence as well as in mass shootings."

680 workers arrested by ICE at Mississippi processing plant

MORTON — U.S. immigration officials raided numerous Mississippi food processing plants Wednesday, arresting 680 workers, most of whom are Latinos, in what marked the largest workplace sting in at least a decade.

The raids, planned months ago, happened just hours before President Donald Trump was scheduled to visit El Paso, Texas, the majority-Latino city where a man linked to an online rant about a “Hispanic invasion” was charged in a shooting that left 22 people dead in the border city.

Workers filled three buses — two for men and one for women — at a Koch Foods Inc. plant in Morton, 40 miles east of Jackson. They were taken to a military hangar to be processed for immigration violations. About 70 family, friends and residents waved goodbye and shouted, “Let them go! Let them go!” Later, two more buses arrived.

A tearful 13-year-old boy whose parents are from Guatemala waved goodbye to his mother, a Koch worker, as he stood beside his father. Some employees tried to flee on foot but were captured in the parking lot.

88% FAVOR RED FLAG LAWS, 31% BELIEVE PRIVATE GUN OWNERSHIP SHOULD BE BANNED

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of voters favor a legal process that protects individual rights but empowers police to take guns from people credibly reported to be public threats or mentally unstable. A new ScottRasmussen.com national survey found that only 12% disagree.

The public support for “Red Flag Laws” is little changed since last fall. It is found among every major age and ethnic group in the country. Ninety-two percent (92%) of Democrats favor the idea along with 89% of Independents and 82% of Republicans (see crosstab results).

Following the horrific news from El Paso and Dayton, support in Congress may be growing. On Monday, President Trump declared “We must make sure that those judged to pose a grave risk to public safety do not have access to firearms and that if they do those firearms can be taken through rapid due process.”

Heading for civil war

Donald Trump's opponents are completely unhinged. The hate and slander directed toward the president and his supporters is off the charts. The vitriol comes not just from the Democratic Party, the media, and the world of entertainment, but also from a sizable proportion of the federal bureaucracy and many seemingly ordinary people.

The media coordinate this campaign and amplify the hate at every opportunity. Media twist every event, be it big or small, into a criticism of the president. The goal is always not just to present Trump in an unfavorable light, but to make him appear too loathsome for polite society. And Trump is not the sole target of this demonization. It is directed at his supporters, too.

Where will all this lead? No less than Angelo M. Codevilla fears that it could ultimately result in a bloody civil war. If it comes to that, there's no doubt where he places the blame.

A Comment Worthy Of A Post 8-6-19

"Advertisers and media remove the Trump flags due to their divisiveness. Mark and Joe should remove them as well. Why piss off the majority of customers who do not support Trump ?"

Well let's see. Any time you go to WBOC, WMDT, the DT's and other local media sources they dedicate THEIR time spreading hate and lies about our President Trump. Even though EVERY single county on the entire Eastern Shore overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump, they "piss off" their viewers each and every day.

The mere fact that Mark and I support our President and enjoy the right to our Freedom of Speech, you also have every right to go out and give away American Flags.

I hope my support for my President does in fact piss you off, I had been subjected to EIGHT YEARS of Obama. Where were YOUR flags back then?

In closing, thanks for admitting our local media is in fact FAKE NEWS. They're not fair and balanced. They edit and crop out all of the Trump 2020 flags and flat out LIE to the public. I dare any one of them to sue me for calling them all LIARS. Their new names are now "FULL OF CROP"

KERNS: We Don’t Have A Gun Crisis; We Have A Young, Angry Male Crisis

Since 1982 more than 100 mass shootings have occurred, including the two tragedies in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio over the weekend. These mass shootings happened regardless of whether the president of the United States was Democrat or Republican. In fact, the first high school mass shootings such as those in Columbine, Colorado in 1999 and Paducah, Kentucky in 1997 occurred when Bill Clinton — a Democrat — was president.

Since the political party of the commander in chief doesn’t appear to be a determining factor, it’s worth pointing out that there is one common denominator among the shooters.

Of 113 mass shootings since 1982, data indicates that 110 were perpetrated by males — in particular young, angry males.

Somebody Should Have Died’ In Pontoon Capsizing, Occupant Says

OCEAN CITY — A rented pontoon boat capsized near the Route 50 bridge last Thursday sending all 15 passengers into the swirling water.

Around 1 p.m. on Aug. 1, Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) received a call for a capsized pontoon boat near the Route 50 Bridge. Connor Tressler, 19, of Dauphin, Pa., was one of 15 occupants on the rented pontoon along with three family members, including his mother, two brothers and friends.

Tressler said the group had rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed an afternoon on the water before running aground just north of the Route 50 Bridge on their way back to the rental operation on Talbot Street. The boat was reportedly rated for 16 passengers and was carrying 15, all of whom ended up in the water.

“We had 15 people on board, which was probably way too many,” he said. “There was also a weight limitation and we were probably over that by 400 or 500 pounds. My younger brother and his three friends were with us and the lightest one of them is 220 pounds. The rental company didn’t weigh us or caution us we were too heavy. They just sent us on our way.”

Why Do Feminists Like Ilhan Omar Continue to Wear the Hijab, an Obvious Tool of Oppression

The hijab is a tool of oppression. For sure, not every woman who wears it is being oppressed. But do those who choose to wear it ever think about what they're communicating to their sisters around the globe who are forced to wear a hijab by misogynistic cultures? Do women like Ilhan Omar, who choose to wear the hijab, ever consider that they're aligning themselves with the persecutors of women who are being tortured and imprisoned for refusing to wear it? For example, Yasaman Aryani and her mother are being sent to an Iranian prison for 16 years for daring to appear in public without a hijab. Another Iranian woman, Mojgan Keshavarz, was sentenced to 23 years and 7 months. What does Ilhan Omar have to say to them? What can she say to them while wearing the instrument of their oppression?

Those three women, who are true feminists, received their cruel and unjust sentence on July 31. An article published by HRANA, an Iranian organization dedicated to fighting the subjugation of women in Muslim countries, gives the details of the trial:

Yasaman Aryani, Monireh Arabshahi, and Mojgan Keshavarz, detained civil rights activists of Qarchak prison in Varamin, were sentenced to 55 years and six months imprisonment, combined, on July 31, 2019.

At the branch 28 of Revolutionary Court, judge Moghiseh, sentenced them for “encourage and promote corruption by de-veiling” to 10 years in prison , for “propaganda against the state” to one year imprisonment and for “collusion and assembly to act against national security” to five years in prison. Moreover, Mojgan Keshavarz was sentenced to additional seven years and six months in prison for the charge of “blasphemy”. Lawyer of Aryani and Arabshahi, Amir Reissian, said to HRANA that their lawyers were not allowed to attend their interrogation and trials. Their trials were scheduled without any prior notice.

Engagement Ring Tossed In Bay During Argument

OCEAN CITY — A Pennsylvania man was arrested on assault and other charges last weekend after allegedly attacking his fiancĂ© and throwing her $4,000 engagement ring into the bay from a hotel balcony.

Around 12:10 a.m. last Saturday, Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officers responded to a hotel at 45th Street for a reported domestic assault.

West African slavery lives on, 400 years after transatlantic trade began

Blessing was only six years old when her mother arranged for her to become an unpaid housemaid for a family in the Nigerian city of Abuja, on the promise they would put her through school.

In her home town in southwest Nigeria, her mother had trouble making enough money to feed her three children. But when Blessing arrived in Abuja, instead of going to school, the family worked her round-the-clock, beat her with an electrical wire if she forgot one of her chores and fed her rotten leftovers.

When her mother later moved to the city to be closer to her daughter, Blessing was unable to be alone with her when she came to visit.

“They would tell me that my mother was coming, that I should not tell her what was happening to me, that I should not even say anything,” she says of the family.

As the world marks 400 years since the first recorded African slaves arrived in North America, slavery remains a modern-day scourge. Over 40 million people are estimated to be trapped in forced labor, forced marriages or other forms of sexual exploitation, according to the United Nations.

Joe Biden’s Brother Accused of Defrauding Rural Healthcare Company

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s younger brother, James, is being accused of defrauding a Tennessee rural healthcare company.

A lawsuit filed in federal court late last month alleges James Biden, who has a history of murky financial dealings, and his associates deceived and defrauded two Tennessee businessmen.

Michael Frey and his business partner, Dr. Mohannad Azzam, brought the suit claiming James Biden and his associates promised and failed to line up investors for their rural healthcare enterprise. Instead, the suit alleges, James Biden urged the two men to borrow $10 million from a hedge fund manager involved in the deal and then proceeded to pass their idea off as his own to a conglomerate of Turkish investors.

“The lawsuit takes direct aim at Biden, painting him as a con artist who uses his ties to his brother — now a Democrat candidate for president — to lure his victims,” the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.

According to documents filed with the U.S. District Court, Frey and his wife developed a business model to take over rural hospitals and retrofit them to not only offer traditional hospital care, but also drug addiction and mental health treatment. After incorporating the enterprise as Diverse Medical Management, they brought on Azzam, “who contracted with nursing homes to provide medical care for seniors.”

Castro, whose district includes much of San Antonio, claimed the donors “are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.'” Castro is the twin brother of Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro and chairs his presidential campaign.

Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump — the owner of ⁦@BillMillerBarBQ⁩, owner of the ⁦@HistoricPearl, realtor Phyllis Browning, etc⁩.

Here Are The Signs The US Gov't Is Preparing For Farmageddon

President Trump on Tuesday morning hinted at what appears to be yet another farm bailout (the third one must be the charm), as farm bankruptcies soar and agricultural debt loads become unbearable.
As they have learned in the last two years, our great American Farmers know that China will not be able to hurt them in that their President has stood with them and done what no other president would do - And I’ll do it again next year if necessary!

A farm crisis on par to what was observed in the early 1980s could be coming, especially since the US Senate passed a bill late last week that makes it more accessible for farmers with larger debt loads to file for bankruptcy protection, reported Reuters.

The bipartisan bill, designated as the Family Farmer Relief Act of 2019, increases the total debt load of how much a farmer can have to meet the qualifications to file Chapter 12 bankruptcy, to $10 million from the prior $4 million ceiling.
