Wicomico County Republican Central Committee Member Julie Brewington Calls Trump Supporters, "TRUMPTARDS"

Julie Brewington, a member of the local Wicomico County Republican Central Committee has come out publicly attacking anyone that supports Donald Trump, on her facebook page.

Below is what she posted yesterday.

Julie said: I'm going to make an executive decision here on my page. All and any Trump supporters need to exit stage right. If you don't of your own free will, I will help you out the door. Not only is Trump a Democrat, he has no idea what he's doing or talking about and foolish people will vote for him and lose the general election to Hillary and the GOP and the Nation is done! I am a daughter of the American Revolution. I do not take this lightly and if you don't support the constitution, I don't support you. I could not be more se rious.

Further, if you don't want to get your hands dirty and help the Cruz campaign you are equally contributing. Do not ask me to help your campaign. Do not ask me for anything unless you help in this cause. Trump gave his multiple wives weight limits in his prenups. WEIGHT LIMITS or he'd divorce them. This PIG wil never see the light of day in the Oval.

I've deleted close to 70 Trumptards. It's a sport now. I will not tolerate it at all.

I will not vote for any representative that supports him. If they refuse to answer they will not get my vote. period.

I will report back as I will call every GOP congressional, and senatorial candidate and tell you what they (or their) aides say.. I'm not casting my pearls before swine. Not this time.

A Viewer Writes: A Story For The Community Today!

Joe,

Here is a story that is news worthy and affects many of us in this community!

The Company has spent more time sending messages to our members giving them “bargaining facts” than they spend at the bargaining table. The Company’s “bargaining facts” emailed today to our members stated the Company had been contacted by Federal Mediation and agreed they were willing to mediate if the Unions extended the strike deadline. CWA responded with a press release stating “CWA did not authorize anyone at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service to approach Verizon about extending the strike date. Either the FMCS acted without authorization or Verizon executive vice president Marc Reed is lying.” Our guess is little Mark is lying again!

Clearly Reed’s goal is to mislead the public and our members regarding all the facts. A recent news article where Reed was quoted stated that out of the last 4 bargaining cycles the union leadership took the workers out on strike 50% of the time. Those of us that were here for the last 4 bargaining cycles remember it a little differently. We saw under Verizon CEO’s leadership, including Marc Reed, our members were forced to strike for a fair contract 100% of the time in the last 2 contracts. Enough of the bullshit, scare tactics and lies!

With less than 12 hours to go it is becoming clear this company is not taking us seriously. The clock is ticking. At 6AM tomorrow morning this company will find out just how serious we really are. We have communicated a lot of information in these bargaining reports over the past 10 months. Tonight we want to make clear what the major issues are causing our members to take to the picket lines and withhold our labor from the greedy corporation Verizon. So here is why we are going on strike.

1). WAGES: The company offered increases of 6.5%. When you factor in the rising cost of all the other monetary items the company proposes changing, it is not an “increase”, but a step backwards. Union wage increases are negotiated once real commitments from the company are made on all of the issues affecting our members.

2). JOB SECURITY- CWA supported Bell Atlantic’s merger with GTE. Job security language in 2003 was the cost for CWA’s support. Now Verizon seeks to eliminate that job security language unless we agree to allow forced temporary transfers of employees to other states, close rural call centers forcing employees to move or commute excessive distances or quit and force employees to travel up to 50 miles more before compensating employees.

3). PENSIONS – The Company has proposed to cap pension accruals at 30 years. They also propose to lock in the life expectancy portion of the pension cash out calculation potentially costing members the 3% annual pension band increase proposed. Our members deserve pensions that will provide reliable retirement security.

4). CALL SHARING - The company contracts over 5,000 employees in the Philippines, Mexico, Dominican Republic and elsewhere. Contractors handle over a million calls originating in the Mid- Atlantic States and the company wants an agreement to lower the percentage of calls it commits to its own employees. They are also proposing call routing that will get the call to a contractor quicker. This is all designed to eliminate call center jobs. This agreement is also a job security issue for all call center employees. It is vital that the Union prevail in securing call center work.

5). HEALTHCARE – The Company seeks significant increases in healthcare contributions while diminishing plan coverage. They want us to pay more for less coverage.

6). RETIREE MEDICAL - The company proposes continuing your healthcare but they want your costs to be increased at the same pace of active employees, even though you don’t earn a paycheck, overtime or benefit from wage increases.

7). FORCED OVERTIME ASSIGNMENTS – The company has manipulated overtime in our bargaining units because they are understaffed. The Company has mismanaged out of town projects and overtime to a point where they have exhausted the existing workforce. The company has abused employees by assigning overtime almost daily and then canceling the assignment, sometimes just minutes before the overtime is scheduled to start. This practiced has caused our members to pay for daycare when it was not necessary, to miss family events and impacted quality of life issues.

It is disgraceful for this Company to demand our members and retirees sacrifice years of negotiated benefits while they sit back with fat salaries and bonuses. We will not stand by and let this Company continue to destroy good middle class jobs. The clock is ticking and time is running out.

Whether wired or wireless, none of this network works without us.

Once again, as of 6AM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 the CWA Executive Board authorized a strike against Verizon, Verizon Wireless and Verizon Connected Solutions. If you are at work, you need to immediately get up and leave. As of 6AM, we are on strike.

Hey Joe, something you might want to look into because it seems nobody else is reporting it. Yesterday I was heading to Parkside School at 3:00, three state cops flew by me with lights flashing on Beaglin Park Dr, by the time I got to school two more had came in from the other direction. Five state police cars, a rescue truck and a boatload of kids directly across from Parkside where all the Parkside kids cross the road to get to those apartments. And why those kids are allowed to walk through traffic every morning and every afternoon baffles my mind anyway! I was there so I know something was going on but not a word on the news so I'm hoping this isn't another cover-up to make us think all our schools are filled with sweet, orderly angelic kids.

UPDATE: Evidently it was a big fight that started in the cafeteria at Parkside and continues across the street after school requiring 5 police cars and an ambulance. Not a word from local media.

BREAKING NEWS: RACIAL TENSION SPARKS AT SALISBURY UNIVERSITY

The image above was done in the Library at Salisbury University. Other racial images have also been spreading around the University in recent weeks.

This incident was reported to the Dean two days ago and there are video cameras throughout the Library, so finding out who did this should not be an issue.

Typical of an independent University, NOTHING has been exposed to the "outside world" and to date none of the students have been informed as to who is behind it.

Parents are saying, I don't pay all that money for my child to go to college in Salisbury to have them scared to death.

States Attorney Maciarello Visits Humane Society

I left the Humane Society around dark. I stopped by to check in on the progress of the documentation and care of the dogs.

(It is an active and ongoing investigation so I cannot comment further about the case.)

I will share that at nightfall donations were still rolling in. As the dogs were cleaned and given food and water, as one worker commented "their personalities began to pop."

Thank you for all of the support and donations of supplies, money and volunteer time. Days like today are hard but seeing the public pitch in makes me proud of my county.

Al Jazeera America Will Go Offline Tuesday Night

Al Jazeera America will go off the air Tuesday night after a run of less than three years.

A Politico report discusses the channel's final evening, which will effectively end at 9 p.m. when its last live broadcast is over. At midnight, the channel will go offline.

The network's political correspondent Michael Shure told Politico the staff is "very proud" of the work they did at the New York City-based channel.

"It seems sort of celebratory," Shure told Politico. "Everyone is very proud of Al Jazeera, that against the odds of difficulties with management initially, everyone is very proud of the journalism and the product that is on the air. Everyone is smarter after you turn it off."

About 700 people will lose their jobs when the network goes dark, reports CNN. Al Jazeera America strived to report the news in a fact-based way without editorializing, and focused on international news for its broadcasts.

CNN cites Nielsen figures that say about 20,000 people would watch the network at a normal hour during the day.

CDC Official: Syphilis Rates Among Gay Men Highest Since Before Start Of HIV Epidemic

(CNSNews.com) – The rate of syphilis infection among homosexual men has increased to a level not seen since the start of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, an official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Capitol Hill Wednesday.

“We’re concerned about our high levels of syphilis among men who have sex with men – really we’re back to the level of disease – burden of disease – in gay men that we were seeing before HIV in this country,” said Gail Bolan, director of the CDC’s Division of STD Prevention.

She was speaking at an event held to lobby for federal funding to fight sexually transmitted diseases in the United States.

Subject: Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab Population Shows Improvement

Spawning-Age Female Number Nearly Doubles
small crab being measuredThe Maryland Department of Natural Resources today released the results of the 2016 Blue Crab Winter Dredge Survey, which show another year of growth in the stock of the Chesapeake Bay crab population and bodes well for a better harvest this year. The survey indicates a bay-wide crab population of 553 million, a 35-percent increase over last year. This is the fourth highest level in two decades, and builds on last year’s 38-percent boost in abundance.

“Due to a milder winter, favorable currents and tides, and wise bay-wide management measures, the Maryland crab population continues to rebound and strengthen,” Fisheries Service Director Dave Blazer said. “With an increase in abundance and steady recruitment, we fully anticipate a robust crab season this year.”

Improvements were seen in all age groups of male and female crabs. The spawning female stock nearly doubled from 101 to 194 million and the adult male stock more than doubled from 44 to 91 million – the second highest levels since 1995.

The number of spawning-age female crabs remains below the 215 million target but above the minimum threshold established in 2011. The juvenile crab abundance increased slightly from 269 million to 271 million, which is just above the 27-year average.

“The highly variable nature of the blue crab population means that we must maintain a degree of caution in considering management adjustments,” Chesapeake Bay Stock Assessment Committee Chairman Glenn Davis said.
fisheries staff pulling up a net to find and count crabsThe 2015 bay-wide crab harvest increased by 42 percent over 2014 to 50 million pounds and remained at sustainable levels for the eighth consecutive year. This combined with increased abundance means that a slight liberalization of harvest limits for female crabs may be warranted this summer.

“Our experts will now discuss the survey results with our internal and external stakeholders,” Blazer said. “Any modest adjustment to the current regulations, be it season length or bushel limit, will be considered only after the department receives input from all parties.”

The Chesapeake Bay Stock Assessment Committee plans to release a full analysis this summer.

The annual Winter Dredge Survey, conducted by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and Virginia Institute of Marine Science since 1990, is the primary assessment of the Chesapeake Bay’s blue crab population. In the survey, biologists use dredge equipment to capture, measure, record and release blue crabs at 1,500 sites throughout the bay from December through March. Crabs tend to bury in the mud over the cold winter months, which makes it possible for scientists to develop accurate estimates of the number of crabs.

Joe, there was an outpouring back in 2012 about the Bennett high school baseball situation and how so many of our kids were flat out embarrassed while participants on the team. There was an uproar on how Two gentlemen pretty much ran the program from the sidelines and thought this was okay to leave kids out. Well as it turns out now in 2016 baseball season the scenario has done a complete 180' to one of the gentlemen calling the shots and his son. He was a big fish in a little pond here in bayside conference and now a little fish trying to compete in SEC baseball conference. He has struggled to say the least and so far this season has been a bust when given opportunities to play. He's basically gone first to last. To any of us that we're forced to endure this type of treatment from this guy while our family members suffered humiliation during their developmental years and now he's being forced to endure the pain he dealt out give us your thoughts!!!

A Viewer Writes: Open Letter To PayPal

Dear PayPal CEO,

In my opinion, North Carolina made a final business decision here that was good for every business currently operating in the State. The proposed LGBT legislation would effectively force every venue that has multiple user restrooms whether they are public or private to install a third single use bathroom, putting an undue financial obligation on all such businesses and public venues.

Without passing this legislation, it leaves all businesses in the State free to install a single use bathroom if they so choose in their business to attract LGBT people if they wish, and if they don’t care to, the LGBT crowd is left free to do business elsewhere if they wish. Heck, even PayPal is still welcome to go there and outfit their building with plumbing as they wish without any interference from the Government.

Freedom, imagine that!

This nothing but a wise business decision on North Carolina’s part, choosing individual freedom over Government regulation, and it makes it abundantly clear to me how much I absolutely don’t need to do business through PayPal! I can pay almost any merchant online directly with my credit card and my credit card company already protects me from fraud and theft. PayPal always seemed like a “third leg” to me, anyway!

So, goodbye, PayPal! I cancelled my account yesterday, and told your CSR it was because, “North Carolina”!

WHY HAVEN'T CHARGES BEEN FILED ON EDEN PUPPY MILL OWNERS?

That seems to be the number one question people are asking me. There's a very logical answer, due diligence.

We stated yesterday that the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office assisted the Humane Society and it is at this time the Humane Society's case. Once charges are filed, then it will be taken over by the Sheriff's Department.

Now I know the majority of you want answers and quite frankly so do a lot of other elected officials. However, you have to understand just how overwhelmed the new Director has been since the moment this happened.

Fourteen hours went into rescuing these 300+ animals. Some news sources, (by the way) are claiming charges have been filed, THEY HAVE NOT.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing that has to be done right here and now is the health and welfare of all of these animals. Once they are able to get some kind of control, then you might see charges. However, everything has to be investigated, logged and in order, (due diligence) in order for any charges to be filed.

So please, concentrate your energy towards first helping any way you can. Let the Humane Society, Sheriff's Office and States Attorney do their jobs. Look at our earlier press release on how you can help and we will keep you updated just as soon as each piece of information comes in.

Millions in THIS Country Support Sharia Law

England is overrun with Muslims, and a large number of them want Sharia Law. As Townhall notes:

Approximately a quarter of those polled express support for the institution of Islamic Sharia law in Muslim-heavy pockets of sovereign Britain, while a large plurality believe that women must "always obey" their husbands. Far more British Muslims believe that a man should be permitted to "keep more than one wife" than say homosexual conduct should remain legal. A majority of respondents favor the criminalization of same-sex relations. (For some imperfect but relevant perspective, a slim majority of regular US churchgoers embraced a similar public policy stance as recently as 2003).

This is terrifying, and it's a reminder of what could happen here if we fail to assimilate and control the number of Muslims entering the United States.

Congress Prepares Puerto Rico Bailout

Congress is expected to begin consideration of federal legislation to grant Puerto Rico extraordinary powers to escape a looming debt crisis. The island territory, home to just 3 million people, is faced with a massive $70 billion debt burden.

During negotiations of the omnibus budget deal at the end of 2015, House Republican Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) promised House Democrat Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) that Congress would consider legislation to grant the Island with bankruptcy protection from its debts. The tentative deadline to begin action was March 31.

The House Natural Resources Committee is drafting a rescue package for Puerto Rico. Hearings on the measure will begin this week. The House conservative Republican Study Committee blasted an early draft of the Puerto Rico legislation, calling it a “bankruptcy-style involuntary restructuring.”

“The discussion draft legislation regarding Puerto Rico’s fiscal situation includes provisions that essentially provide for a federally forced restructuring the island’s debt,” Rep. Bill Flores (R-TX), Chair of the RSC, said in a statement. “This approach is inconsistent with the Republican Study Committee’s position on this issue.”

The island and its supporters in Congress are seeking legislation to grant the territory access to federal bankruptcy courts to unload some of its debt. Currently, Puerto Rico is prohibited from seeking debt relief through bankruptcy.

WE TOLD YOU: Man Enters Women's Bathroom, REFUSES to Leave Because...

We told you this was going to happen, liberals.
You refused to listen.
The LGBT agenda is bad news for all Americans – women and young girls in particular – and we’re going to begin seeing cases like this much more often.
From King5:
Seattle Parks and Recreation is facing a first-of-a-kind challenge to gender bathroom rules. A man undressed in a women’s locker room, citing a new state rule that allows people to choose a bathroom based on gender identity.
It was a busy time at Evans Pool around 5:30pm Monday February 8. The pool was open for lap swim. According to Seattle Parks and Recreation, a man wearing board shorts entered the women’s locker room and took off his shirt. Women alerted staff, who told the man to leave, but he said “the law has changed and I have a right to be here.”
“Really bizarre,” MaryAnne Sato said. “I can’t imagine why they would want to do that anyway!”
Sato uses the locker room a few times a week, but she says this is a first for her. It’s also a first for Seattle Parks and Recreation. Employees report that the man made no verbal or physical attempt to identify as a woman, yet he still cited a new rule that allows bathroom choice based on gender identification.

At This School, Only Black Lives Matter

At this Long Island high school, it appears that #blacklivesmatter, and white lives? Not so much:

A white student at a predominantly Hispanic and black Long Island high school says he was targeted for punishment over his race — punched, hit with a chair and repeatedly called “cracker” and “white boy” — while administrators did nothing to protect him.

Lawyers for Giovanni Micheli, now 23, aim to convince a federal jury that their client was singled out as a “minority” in Brentwood High School and then told by school officials, most of them white, to either “project more self-confidence” in order to stem the beating and berating — or leave.

Micheli sued the Brentwood School District in 2010, and the trial opened Monday in Brooklyn federal court.

“Giovanni was a minority because he was Caucasian,” attorney Wayne Schaefer said in his opening statement. “This case is about discrimination against a minority student . . . Our claim is that there was deliberate indifference because he was a Caucasian student complaining in a district where Caucasians are a minority.”

Black Lives Matter frequently assails critics for pointing out that "all lives matter," yet that statement is nothing more than a restatement of the radical principle that's made America one of the most tolerant, prosperous nations in the history of the world. The notion that, regardless of skin color, we all have the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is written into our Declaration of Independence, and has provided the justification for every civil rights victory African Americans have ever had in this country. By asserting that only "black lives" matter, the radical identitarians on the left set the stage for the sort of bigoted race based attacks they claim to abhor.

So the good news is the security system worked, accomplishing what it is designed to do – it kept the alleged incident at the level of "attempted" rather than allowing the perpetrator to complete the act. It allowed school staff to rescue the victim and halt the assault in its tracks.

Male Juvenile, 14, Salisbury, MD
Male Juvenile, 16, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 11 April at 2:53 PM deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported fight on the grounds of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury. Investigation revealed that several subjects between two groups became involved in a mutual affray that drew the attention of staff from the apartment complex that helped bring the fight to an end. One of the participants at the conclusion of the fight then broke out a window on a vehicle that one of the groups used to travel to the location which then precipitated a tumultuous response from that other group. In this response, two individuals brandished baseball bats and chased after the individual who broke out the window. An assault with these baseball bats was then reportedly perpetrated against the individual who broke out the window.

Salisbury EMS responded and transported the individual struck with the bats to PRMC where he was treated and released.

The Investigating deputy learned that this altercation was a continuation from a previous incident that happened several days prior. The investigating deputy has identified all the individuals responsible in this incident and at this time three juveniles have been charged. Local DUI Conviction Rate Tops In Md.

SNOW HILL — For the second time in three years, the Worcester County State’s Attorney’s Office has achieved the highest conviction rate for driving under the influence cases in the state of Maryland in 2014.

The data is collected and compiled by the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Association each year. The association tracks the overall success rate on drunk-driving cases for each jurisdiction and the data for 2014 was released earlier this year. Once the data was analyzed, the association determined Worcester County had the highest conviction rate in drunk -driving cases among all of the jurisdictions in Maryland. Worcester also earned the distinction in 2012.

According to the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Association, of the 963 impaired driving cases that came to court in Worcester in 2014, 871 had positive outcomes, although the criteria for a positive outcome was not defined.

Judge Refuses to Dismiss Sandy Hook Relatives' Lawsuit Against Gun Maker

A judge in Connecticut denied a motion by the Bushmaster AR-15 rifle maker to dismiss a lawsuit brought by 10 families of victims of the December 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Freedom Group, the Madison, N.C., parent company of AR-15 maker Bushmaster Firearms, argued it was protected by a 2005 federal law that shields gun manufacturers from most lawsuits over criminal use of their products.

But Judge Barbara Bellis ruled the law doesn't prevent lawyers for the families of Sandy Hook from arguing the AR-15 is a military weapon and shouldn't have been sold to civilians.

"We are thrilled that the gun companies' motion to dismiss was denied. The families look forward to continuing their fight in court," Josh Koskoff, one of the lawyers representing the families, said in a statement.

Congress Votes To Fund Nearly 300,000 Visas For Muslim Migrants In One Year

The House passed Rep. Paul Ryan’s $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill, negotiated with Rep. Nancy Pelosi. A majority of House Republicans voted for the measure, which fully funds Obama’s refugee resettlement operation, all Mideast immigration programs, Sanctuary Cities, Obama’s continued executive amnesty for DREAMers, and the resettlement of illegal aliens within the U.S. interior.

In perhaps a display of loyalty to Ryan, three-fifths of the Republican conference supported his legislation, and even gave him a standing ovation following the bill’s passage.

In passing this legislation, the House has approved funding for the issuance of nearly three hundred thousand visas to migrants from Muslim countries in the next year alone.

Lawmakers debate bills with serious implications for the IRS

The House Ways and Means Committee has a bone to pick with the Internal Revenue Service.

Lawmakers on the committee favorably reported four bills to the House floor on April 13, which proponents said would hold the IRS more accountable for its actions, especially in the realms of hiring and customer service. However, opponents said that the bills will make it even harder for the IRS to complete its job effectively.

“This is simply our committee saying clearly to the IRS, Republican or Democrat, that you will have a real customer service plan for the American taxpayer, who pays your salaries, or if you don’t, there will be consequences,” Chairman Kevin Brady (R-Texas) said.

“If you’re truly concerned about customer service, then you have to fully fund the agency,” Rep.
