Some Small Tumors In Breasts May Not Be So Bad After All

Scientists say they may have solved a big medical mystery: why mammograms don't save more lives.

A study involving thousands of breast cancer cases, released Wednesday, concludes that a significant proportion of tumors detected through mammography are not small because they are found early.

Instead, the tumors are small because they are biologically prone to slow growth.

"For over 100 years, we've known that small breast cancers have a much better prognosis than large breast cancers," says Donald Lannin, a professor of surgery at the Yale School of Medicine, who led the study. "We always assumed that it was because we were catching the small cancers early and then that's why the cure rate was much better."

Lowes - 120 Tech Workers send Jobs to India

Amid efforts to improve its profitability, Lowe’s has laid off about 125 corporate tech workers, primarily at its headquarters in Mooresville.

The home-improvement retailer informed affected employees Wednesday morning through early afternoon, according to people familiar with the matter.

Many of the affected information technology job functions are being sent to Bangalore, India, where Lowe’s employs approximately 1,000 people in information and technology and analytics.

Wednesday’s layoffs are the latest in several rounds of reductions over the last year.

Lowe’s eliminated 96 corporate tech jobs in October, then in January cut another 2,400 full-time jobs, mostly at the store level. In February, it followed with more than 500 corporate layoffs, including 430 at its headquarters in Mooresville and 70 support staffers in Wilkesboro.

State Police Barracks Become 24-hr Drop-off Locations For Unused Prescription Meds

(PIKESVILLE, MD) – As part of Maryland’s combined effort to reduce opioid abuse, Maryland State Police barracks across the state have become around-the-clock drop-off locations for unused prescription medications.

Maryland State Police Superintendent Colonel William Pallozzi directed that all barracks be ready any time to accept unused medications. “The Maryland State Police is a full partner in the state’s coordinated response to the opioid crisis,” Colonel Pallozzi said. “It is important that we are ready to assist in citizen efforts to reduce the amount of unused prescription medications available in their homes, thereby reducing the potential for those drugs to end up on the street. Making our 23 barracks full-time collection points will make it easier for people to turn-in these medications as soon as possible, instead of waiting for a specific drug collection day.”

“Giving Marylanders more places to safely and properly dispose of any old and unused medications is just one more way to fight the heroin and opioid epidemic that is devastating our state’s communities,” said Clay Stamp, executive director of the Opioid Operational Command Center.

As the merger is completed, layoffs of up to 1,000 jobs at the combined AOL and Yahoo are expected

As the troubled deal is finally culminated, it’s time for cuts.

According to sources, layoffs are expected to take place across AOL and Yahoo that could number up to 1,000 jobs. That is less than 20 percent of the combined company, according to sources.

This action is not unexpected, given that both companies have a lot of redundancies, including in human resources, finance, marketing and general administration.

The merger between the two companies — after Verizon bought both in succession to add tech and content to its mobile services — is expected to be completed in the next week. The shareholder meeting to approve the deal takes place tomorrow.

Preschool Worker Stabbed; Attackers Reportedly Chanted, ‘Allah Will Get You’

A worker at a London-area preschool was attacked Wednesday by three women who reportedly chanted ”Allah will get you.

Karrien Stevens, who runs the Little Diamonds preschool in the Hermon Hill area of London, said a member of her staff was walking to work when she was stabbed by three females who chanted about Allah.

After the incident was reported, local parents received emails stating that schools were on “lockdown.”

The woman, who did not suffer life-threatening injuries, was rescued when a man interrupted the attack and escorted the injured woman to the preschool.

“We were called at 9:36 a.m. to reports of a stabbing in Hermon Hill,” a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said.

Witch doctors are decapitating BALD men in Mozambique

Bald people have become the latest targets of witchdoctors in Mozambique, police chiefs say.

Police say the body parts and heads of bald men are being traded across the borders to Malawi and Tanzania where they are of value in witchcraft.

The police warning came after the brutal killing of two bald men, one of whom had his head cut off, and both had their internal organs cut out and stolen.

National police spokesman Inacia Dina told a news conference in the capital Maputo: 'The murders of two bald people has led to two arrests of suspects.

Drinking non-cow milk linked to shorter kids, study suggests

(CNN)Children who drink dairy alternatives like soy, almond or rice milks are slightly shorter than their peers who drink cow's milk, according to a new study.

The study, published Wednesday in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, found that each daily cup of non-cow's milk consumed was associated with 0.4 centimeters (0.15 inches) lower height than average for a child's age.

"We found that children who are consuming non-cow's milk like rice, almond and soy milk tended to be a little bit shorter than children who consumed cow's milk," said Dr. Jonathon Maguire, the study's lead author and a pediatrician and researchers at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. "For example, a 3-year-old child consuming three cups of non-cow's milk relative to cow's milk was on average 1.5 centimeters shorter."

Sears, Kmart Said Planning to Close 72 More Stores

(Editor's note: Salisbury Stores Dodge The Bullet)

Beleaguered iconic retailer Sears reportedly is planning to close 72 additional stores this year, in addition to 180 locations the company had previously announced it would shutter.

Business Insider reported that the company plans to shut 72 stores – most of them by September – including 49 Kmart stores, 16 Sears stores and seven auto centers. USA Today put the total at 66 and didn’t mention auto centers.

The financial woes of the Illinois-based company, whose name has been a trusted retailing icon for generations of Americans, have deepened dramatically in recent months.

Sears Holdings Corp., once the largest U.S. retailer, in March warned about its ability to continue as a going concern after years of losses and declining sales, Reuters reported.

GOP uncertainty over Obamacare drives out insurersf

Obamacare markets are undergoing a slow-motion meltdown as Republicans stoke a climate of uncertainty while struggling to agree on their own plan for overhauling American health care.

The steady march of insurers that have announced plans to exit marketplaces in recent weeks leaves Obamacare customers in wide swaths of the country with potentially no options for purchasing subsidized coverage in 2018. In the latest and most significant blow, Anthem this week announced it will pull out of Ohio next year, leaving at least 18 counties without an insurer selling Obamacare plans.

Republicans characterize their efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare as a “rescue mission,” citing skyrocketing premiums, dwindling competition and lower-than-expected enrollment in many states. “Wave goodbye,” President Donald Trump said of Obamacare in a speech in Ohio on Wednesday, gleefully referring to Anthem’s exit. “What a mess.”

Self-downloading adware targets Android smartphones

A malicious self-downloading app is infecting Android phones in the US., U.K. and France. "Ks Clean," which masquerades as a device-cleaning application, displays a fraudulent system update that freezes smartphones until owners select "OK."

Once a user gives the app access to his device, an APK (Android application package) installs itself and asks for administrator privileges. Then, the Android phone is inundated by pop-up ads, which will even appear when the owner is using other apps. Removing "Ks Clean" is difficult, since the malware has been granted admin rights.

According to San Jose-based cybersecurity firm Zscaler, more than 300 incidents of malicious APKs "from this campaign" have been identified during the past two weeks. The malware is obtained through deceptive advertisements posted on forums.

Battle of Midway dive bomber pilot with direct hits on two Japanese carriers: 'Never call me a hero'

Seventy-five years ago this week, American pilot "Dusty" Kleiss began a near-vertical dive aimed the Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga, 20,000 feet below. Seconds later, the smoldering Kaga was crippled by Dusty’s perfectly-placed bomb; at that moment—almost six months after the tragedy of Pearl Harbor--the course of World War II began to change. Now, Kleiss has published his memoirs, Never Call Me a Hero, co-written with Timothy and Laura Orr, who reflect here on the Battle of Midway and their collaboration with one the battle’s decisive participants.

On June 4-7, 1942, two U.S. Navy task forces won an unexpected victory in the waters near Midway Atoll, sinking four Japanese aircraft carriers and turning the tide of the Pacific War. America’s aviators paid a high price for that victory. When the echoes of combat subsided, American forces counted up 189 missing aviators. Lieutenant (junior grade) Norman Jack Kleiss, a dive bomber pilot attached to USS Enterprise’s Scouting Squadron Six (VS-6), was one of the lucky few to survive. Known as “Dusty” to his friends, the twenty-six-year-old Kansas pilot had quite a story to tell. He had participated in every air operation launched by his carrier and he had helped sink two aircraft carriers and one cruiser. Dusty was one of the few Battle of Midway veterans to live into the twenty-first-century. Toward the end of his life, he felt the urge to tell his tale in full and leave behind his account for future generations.

Delaware: Almost 600 Child Support Client Cards Used at Kmart May Have Been Compromised; New Cards Being Issued

NEW CASTLE – Approximately 592 Delaware Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) clients who used their First State Family Card at a Kmart may have had the card number compromised, the Division learned Tuesday, June 6.

Information on the Kmart website related to the incident assures customers no personal data from their customers was compromised. The Division of Child Support Services’ vendor has taken the precautionary measure of placing the 592 identified First State Family Cards (FSFC) in a “Possible Fraud” status and are transferring the funds to new cards. These new cards were to be processed and mailed to the affected DCSS clients the night of June 6, 2017. Clients affected who attempt to use the card currently in their possession will find it does not work

The new cards should be in the possession of child support clients by the weekend of June 9, 2017. DCSS clients who receive a new card should destroy the card currently in their possession.

St. Louis begins process to remove Confederate monument from Forest Park

ST. LOUIS – There appears to be some move activity around the Confederate monument in Forest Park by city of St. Louis workers. Koran Addo tells FOX 2 that fencing is going up around the monument.

This is the first step in removing the monument. Engineers will need to figure out the best way to take the monument down. This could take weeks to complete.

The Confederate monument was placed in the park in 1914 by the Daughters of the Confederacy. About two year ago, then-mayor Francis Slay created a committee to discuss how to remove the monument.

Celebrate This Summer With Maryland Crabs

Increased Bay health leads to plentiful harvest of iconic shellfish

ANNAPOLIS, MD – As summer gets underway, it is time for Marylanders to get reacquainted with one of the state’s most beloved pastimes: enjoying fresh, locally sourced and produced crabmeat. It is hard to beat the time-honored tradition and communal experience of feasting on steamed crabs with friends and family, but there are many different ways to enjoy Maryland blue crabs: soups, crab imperial, or the classic Maryland crab cake (see the recipe below!).

“Here in Maryland, few things are more iconic than the Chesapeake blue crab,” said Secretary Joe Bartenfelder. “The relationship between farmers and watermen goes back to the beginning of our state’s history, and summer is the perfect time to enjoy all of the fresh, local products available statewide.”

Maryland is currently enjoying an abundant crab population, thanks in part to improving water quality. Sediment entering the Chesapeake Bay is down, which has caused an increase in oxygen levels and submerged aquatic vegetation. On its annual report card grading Chesapeake Bay health, scientists at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science gave the bay’s fisheries index an “A” at 90 percent.

Rising Number Of Bicycle Crashes Highlights Importance Of Wearing A Helmet

The number of cycling injuries among adults in the U.S. rose by about 6,500 each year between 1997 and 2013, and the medical costs associated with those injuries increased 137 percent, according to a new study published in the journalInjury Prevention.

The rise in injuries is due in part to the increasing popularity of cycling in the U.S., the research concludes. The study was conducted by scientists at the University of California at San Francisco, the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation in Maryland, and Curtin University in Australia.

The authors also suggest that the growing costs associated with these cycling injuries could be due to the climbing rate of severe injuries, including those that occur from collisions with cars, as well as an increase in injuries among older riders, who might need more time and care to recover.

Berlin Library Project Breaks Ground

BERLIN – Dozens of local officials and community members celebrated the start of construction of the town’s new library this week.

Worcester County officials hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for the new $6.4 million Berlin branch of the Worcester County Library set to open on Harrison Avenue in 2018. The state-of-the-art 12,000 square foot facility, to be located on ground that was once part of the famed Harrison Nurseries, will replace the long outgrown building on Main Street.

“It seems fitting this is where the new library will be,” said Jennifer Ranck, director of the Worcester County Library. “Instead of growing fruit trees we’ll be growing readers. We’ll be producing thinkers and cultivating lifelong learning.”

The new library, which is expected to open to the public in the summer of 2018, will feature roughly four times the floor space of the existing facility and will include a community meeting room as well as expanded areas for children and teens. Though a much enjoyed, homey space, the current library—built in 1970 on property owned by the Berlin Fire Company—has struggled for years to accommodate its many visitors.

Donald Trump should consider becoming his own solicitor general

President Trump’s single greatest strength is that he — and he alone — is his own top adviser and most trusted confidant. It’s just he, himself and @realDonaldTrump.

Which is kind of funny because Mr. Trump’s greatest weakness also happens to be that he — and he alone — is his own top adviser and most trusted confidant.

It tells you just how clueless the media is that they think Steve Bannon is somehow the actual president and Mr. Trump is just some kind of puppet.

Mr. Trump is no one’s puppet. But he does listen to people who he thinks know more of the details and particulars about an issue. And then he makes up his own mind.

Maryland Acquires Lowest Cost in History for Electricity Rates for State Buildings and Facilities

Will Save Taxpayers $25 Million Dollars Over Next Four Years

ANNAPOLIS, MD –
The Hogan-Rutherford Administration today announced the Department of General Services’ successful implementation of a reverse auction for energy purchases, which will save Maryland taxpayers $25 million over the next four years through 2021. The commodities procurement will provide a significant portion of the state’s electricity supply to state-owned facilities.

“By pooling the state’s future electricity demand, Maryland has attracted the business interest of the nation’s most competitive electricity suppliers,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “This level of participation shows that Maryland is indeed Open for Business and that the energy industry is taking notice.”

The new electricity supply contracts will provide the lowest cost for electricity for state buildings and facilities in all regions across Maryland. In addition, local municipalities and non-profits were able to participate in the recent electricity pool. By partnering with the state, these organizations located in Garrett, Baltimore, Cecil, Worcester, and St. Mary’s Counties will benefit from the new lower electricity rates.

“Our administration remains committed to reining in state spending" said Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford. "By using alternative ways to procure commodities and other services, the state receives the best value for every dollar we spend – which is exactly what Marylanders expect and deserve.”

Maryland was one of the first states to use the reverse auction in 2004, under Lt. Governor Rutherford's leadership during his tenure as Secretary of General Services. These lower prices, along with ongoing investments in energy efficiency projects in state facilities, is all part of the administration's energy strategy to lead by example in both lowering the burden to taxpayers and helping to meet Maryland's environmental goals at the same time.

“This reverse auction allowed electricity suppliers to bid and counter-bid for a short period of time in a transparent, real-time platform,” said Department of General Services Secretary Ellington Churchill. “Electricity suppliers bid until the lowest electricity supply rates in the market were revealed, which greatly benefits Maryland taxpayers.”

This unprecedented auction led to the state acquiring the lowest electricity supply rates in its history and locked the rates in for a longer period of time than industry predictions. The state received an electricity supply rate as low as 3.8 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for a four-year period. This rate was nearly 40 percent lower the state’s previous rate of 6.1 cents per kWh for the past three-year period.

Pittsburgh or Paris? Donald Trump, Political Scientist

The wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Left over President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate change agreement is not only overblown, it’s puzzling.

This was, after all, a campaign promise that Trump made. That he ever considered not pulling us out of the accord is more surprising than his actually doing it is.

But aside from keeping a promise, his decision is also good news for the United States.

The Paris accord is not based on the idea that global climate is changing. That observation is not only “settled science” — it has been the case through all of the planet’s existence.

The Paris accord is about taxing production and use of materials. It’s about limiting economic activity that allows people to make and use goods that they need. And it’s a bad idea.

Taxing and regulating carbon consumption to try to limit man’s effect on climate will someday be looked upon by economists the way bloodletting is seen by doctors today.

Mosque In U.S. Teaches: ‘Partial’ Female Genital Mutilation Helps Prevent ‘Hyper-Sexuality’ In Women

In a now-removed YouTube video, an imam in Virginia allegedly uploaded a video where he explains the benefits of female genital mutilation (FGM), a gruesome process that can include anything up to cutting off the labia and clitoris and sewing up what’s left as a way to prevent “hypersexuality” in women.

The video, starring Imam Shaked Elsayed from the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, described FGM as the cutting of “the tip of the sexually sensitive part of the girl so that she is not hyper-sexually active.” So far, YouTube has only confirmed that the video has “been removed.”

As reported by Breitbart, the Investigative Project on Terrorism was able to view the video before its removal and had this to say about Elsayed:

Overdose Now Leads in Cause of Death, Proving Big Pharma's Opioids the Drug War's Winners

Drug overdoses kill more people under the age of 50 in the United States than anything else — more than vehicle crashes, homicide, gun-related incidents — anything.

Unsurprisingly, more of those overdoses pertained to opioids — legal, prescription medications, or illicit heroin, too frequently of dubious quality, sought by those for whom State-sanctioned painkillers no longer killed the pain — than to any other substance.

“To put the death toll into perspective,” Democracy Now! reports, “opioid deaths have now surpassed the peak in death by car crash in 1972, AIDS deaths in 1995 and gun deaths in 1993. After 20 years of heavy combat in South Vietnam, U.S. military casualties represented only one-third of the death toll from 10 years of opioid overdoses. Meanwhile, counties and states around the country have filed lawsuits to hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for the public health crisis.”

Were it considered a contagious disease, the wildfire plague of opioid abuse and addiction would be pandemic.

SURPRISE! Trump’s Nominee For FBI Director Has A Clinton-CRUSHING Resume

President Trump trolled the left today. While they were fixated on congressional testimony, holding their breath for Trump to be tied to Russia (which didn’t happen by the way), he nominated Christopher A. Wray as the head of the FBI to replace James Comey. Wray is a top-notch white collar criminal defense attorney and he served a stint under George W. Bush in the DOJ as the head of the Criminal Division. He has a hell of a resume and a long list of credentials. I consider him a very good pick for the position.

While at the Department of Justice, Wray worked at cleaning up corporate fraud and handling corruption in the financial markets. He was involved in the bankruptcy of the Enron Corporation. He also handled drug traffickers, intellectual property thieves and distributors of child pornography during his tenure. He specializes in white collar crimes as well. This guy is a legal pit bull.

Secondary Drowning: Know the Signs

Back in 1999, we had a pool party for our daughter’s fifth birthday. And since there would be lots of little ones swimming in the shallow end of our backyard pool, we decided to hire a lifeguard to ensure a trained set of eyes were always on the water. Our daughter and a couple of her friends were already in the pool when the lifeguard arrived. It was then (before the hired help had the opportunity to step out of his street clothes) that our usually hesitant two-year-old son decided to jump in and join the girls.

He went straight to the bottom.

Fortunately, the lifeguard sprang into action (street clothes and all), rescuing our son and validating our decision to hire him. Aside from brief coughing and sputtering, our son was no worse for the wear.

As it turns out, the overwhelming majority (95%) of kids with a close call in the water do fine, but a few (5%) don’t. Those few may go on to develop “dry drowning” or “secondary drowning.” Knowing the signs and symptoms of these conditions—and what to do if problems occur—can mean the difference between life and death for kids who initially appear well after a brief struggle in the water.

Dry Drowning
Dry drowning occurs when water irritates the upper airway, causing the vocal cords to spasm (laryngospasm) and restricting flow of air into the lungs. This triggers a shock reflex called neurogenic pulmonary edema. The lungs begin to fill with body fluid (not pool water), which interferes with oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange. Oxygen is depleted, carbon dioxide builds up, the shock reflex strengthens, and a deadly spiral ensues. The symptoms of dry drowning usually begin within an hour of water exposure.

Trump Rips Democrats for Obstructing on Health Care Reform: ‘We Have Had No Help’

President Donald Trump ripped Democrats on Wednesday for obstructing on health care reform legislation, saying even the "greatest plan in the history of the world" wouldn't get their votes.

Trump spoke about Obamacare's failures at Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport with families who have had problems with his predecessor's health care law.

Trump eventually turned his aim to Democrats in Congress who want to keep and amend Obamacare instead of joining Republicans in repealing and replacing it.

"We spent a lot of time yesterday with Mitch McConnell and a lot of the great senators that happen to be Republicans, because we're having no help, it's only obstruction from the Democrats," Trump said. "The Democrats are destroying health care in this country."

Senate-Passed VA Accountability Bill Likely to Sail Through House Next Week

The House will vote next Tuesday on Senate-passed legislation to make it easier for the secretary of Veterans Affairs to fast-track the firing of federal employees for misconduct, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced on Twitter Wednesday.

McCarthy told President Donald Trump the chamber will send the bill to the White House for a signature next week. The measure sailed through the Senate with bipartisan support on Tuesday, bringing the president one step closer to declaring victory on a key policy goal.

Trump lauded the Senate measure in a tweet Tuesday night and called on the House to "get this bill to my desk ASAP! We can't tolerate the substandard care for our vets."

The new Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act, introduced in the Senate last month, will lower the standard of evidence needed for managers to reprimand or terminate employees for misconduct within the agency.

TV Reporter is Fired After She’s Caught On Video Calling a Cop a ‘F***ing Piece of S**t’

For some reason, people in the public eye don’t seem to understand that bad behavior will get them into trouble. Perhaps the problem is their egos, but that arrogance always seems to backfire. And one local TV reporter just learned that lesson the hard way.

Colleen Campbell worked for a local Philadelphia news station, but she lost her job after she was caught on video screaming profanity at a Philadelphia police officer. While Campbell’s job was mostly behind-the-scenes in production, she also occasionally went on-air as a reporter.

Sunday night, she was attending a show at the Helium Comedy Club, where comedian Craig Robinson was performing. She was kicked out after being given multiple warnings for her disruptive behavior, and then got into a fight with the bar staff on the way out. Police were eventually called, but Campbell’s behavior just got worse.

“You guys are f***ing dictators… you’re f***ing c**k suckers,” she said the an officer, who stood there calmly as she ranted. “I did not do s**t, I stood there and laughed like the rest of the audience like I should. I did not disrupt anybody.” The officer then told Campbell, and the man she was with, to walk away, but she refused. “Or what? Or what, mother f***er? Lick my a**hole,” she retorted. “How about that? F***ing piece of s**t. That’s why nobody likes f***ing police… in this f***ing town.”

UC Berkeley SUED For $23 Million over Abuse Against Conservatives on Campus

Are the days of the silent majority, staying silent over? Hopefully! I like that people are finally starting to take action against this fascism. In fact, all the people that got attacked should file a separate class action suit to bleed this idiotic organization dry.

We just got word that a fan Milo Yiannopoulos is suing uc Berkeley for $23 million, and she is claiming it is due to routine abuse against conservative students on the university campus. She is claiming that her First Amendment rights were infringed when she was forced to evacuate due to Milo’s speech no-campus. She had to evacuate because of a left-wing protest that turned a bloody violent.

“The suit, filed in federal court in California on Monday alleges that the defendants ‘have subjected UC Berkeley students and invitees who do not subscribe to the radical, left wing philosophies sanctioned by Defendants to severe violence and bodily harm for merely expressing a differing viewpoint, in clear contravention of their rights under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,’” reported SF Gate on Tuesday. “In addition to the UC Berkeley Regents, the suit’s many defendants include UC president Janet Napolitano, the UC Berkeley police department, the Berkeley police department, frequent conservative target George Soros and California representative Nancy Pelosi.”

This lawsuit, is claiming that the “University of California Berkeley has acted to unconstitutionally curtail the First Amendment rights of its students and invitees thereof.”

Comey Testimony Proves Trump Was Right- MEDIA DEAD WRONG!

Media pounce on White House for nomination delays but miss glaring error by Schumer

It was a tough statement by the Senate minority leader, blaming President Trump for the fact that so few of his nominees have been confirmed.

“If the president is looking for someone to blame for the slow pace of confirmations, he needs only to look in the mirror,” Chuck Schumer said Monday. “Of the 63 that have been nominated, the Senate has confirmed 39 of them.”

But as the White House tried to tell a number of reporters, only to be met by a collective yawn, the New York senator had confused the official statistics. At the time, the 63 nominees awaiting Senate approval were in addition to the 39 confirmed – meaning that Trump had nominated 102 people to top posts overall.

Schumer’s office put out an updated release later that day, correcting the numbers but making no mention of the mistake. But almost no one in the press picked that up. New York’s Daily News, which played up the story, did say the senator had “initially mis-stated how few people Trump had nominated.”

It is hard to imagine Trump getting a pass from the media on a blunder of that magnitude.

Liberals Just Can't Control Themselves

I couldn't believe that a teacher that was trusted to take middle school students to Washington DC on a school trip would actually stand in front of the White House and flip it off and tell the 6th, 7th and 8th graders that this is freedom of speech. He was right, it is freedom of speech. So I guess what he is teaching, it's all right to walk in his class everyday and flip him off because it's freedom of speech. I will be filling a complaint with the School board. I don't care how you feel about politics or anything else, but when you are trusted to lead students and this is what is being taught I think it's time you are held accountable for your actions while representing Warrensburg Middle School and the Warrensburg school district. Please feel free to share this post. I'm sure I will have a ton of haters but I don't care. Say and do what you want on your own time but not while representing the school. Here is the picture.

Since 1990, more than 800 children have died from heatstroke in hot cars, including nine children so far just this year. But despite the severity of this problem, technology that’s already available that can remind parents when their child is still in the back seat is not yet standard for all cars. Lawmakers, safety advocates, and parents who have experienced tragic losses want this to change.

1-In-4 Families Don’t Seek Medical Attention Because Of Financial Worries

With the latest reports suggesting that the American Health Care Act — a budget resolution intended to repeal and replace much of the Affordable Care Act — would leave more than 23 million consumers without insurance and facing higher out-of-pocket costs, it’s no surprise that consumers are a bit uneasy when it comes to their healthcare. In fact, a new survey suggests that in the face of rising costs, some families are foregoing medical care to save a few — or a few thousand — bucks.
