Shawn Childs 'put ecstasy in student's drink before son raped her' at Illinois State University

A father put ecstasy in a female student drink before his son raped her during an Illinois State University orientation event, authorities have said.

Shawn Childs Jr, 19, and his father, Shawn Childs Sr, were in a residence hall along with other incoming students on Tuesday in Normal, according to a prosecutor.

A woman, who has not been named, told authorities Childs Sr put a pill in her soda before she went back to her room feeling ill, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Childs Jr followed her inside and raped her twice, the woman said. He and his father both face criminal charges in the case.

The comedy network conceded to deleting the tweet, which showed clips of the former secretary of state’s trademark cackle spliced with footage of hyenas, after leftists on Twitter were offended.

“Move over Donkey! There’s a new mascot in town,” the tweet’s text read, crediting @thehecklertbs, and using the hashtags: #ImWithHyena and #DNCinPHL.

Trump: We Know How Hillary Takes Care Of Veterans - Just Look At Benghazi

Tuesday at the national convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said his rival presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will not fix the ongoing problems at VA hospitals.

Trump said, “The other candidate in this race, you know her name, crooked Hillary Clinton — and believe me folks she is crooked. Has a much different view. She recently said of the VA scandal not as not as widespread as it is reported to be. It’s like she is trying to sweep it under the rug, which by the way politicians have done for years and years and years. It’s going to be four more years of the same if she ever got in. But that’s not going to happen. Make America great again. Your are right thank you. We know how she takes care of the veterans. Just look at her invasion of Libya and her handling of Benghazi, a disaster. Or look at her emails which put America’s entire national security at risk.”

The first scandal that made us question the Clintons’ ethics

Bill and Hillary Clinton were offered their first bribe in 1977.

It was a small, cute bribe.

Call it a beginner bribe if you want. But that’s how you have to start, I guess, in order to build up to more substantial corruption.
Bill was attorney general of Arkansas at the time, and he was offered a very favorable land deal in a development called Saltillo Heights, where Jim McDougal was planning to build houses.

Saltillo Heights was at the time — and still is — in the middle of nowhere — about 35 miles north of Little Rock.

Clinton practically handed her email password to the Russians

The Russians didn’t hack into Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server, as others have reported, according to a very reliable source of mine who has connections with US intelligence agencies.

They didn’t have to.

Clinton was so careless when using her BlackBerry that the Russians stole her password. All Russian President Vladimir Putin’s gang had to do was log into Clinton’s account and read whatever they wanted.

They had to be laughing their butts off. So you can add the Russians to the list of people who know bad and personal things about Clinton that the Democrats will wish remain hidden.

FBI Director James Comey said a few weeks ago that Clinton had been “extremely careless” with her e-mails, but he added that he didn’t think the server she’d been using had been hacked by “hostile actors.”

Drug overdose patients' organs saving lives

BALTIMORE —The fatal drug overdose epidemic is providing a second chance at life for some individuals.

Baltimore artist Amy Sherald owes her every breath, step and stroke of her paintbrush to Kristin Lynn Smith.

"Unfortunately, the end of her life meant the beginning of mine," Sherald said. "My joy to be alive always stands at attention to her family, their grief and their loss."

Sherald trained for triathlons, running 50 miles a week. Then, she suddenly found herself in a hospital on a waiting list for a heart transplant.

Smith, a young mother and dental hygienist, was in the hospital, too, because of a drug overdose. She didn't make it.

According to the organ procurement organization Living Legacy Foundation, one out of every six organ donations in Maryland comes from an individual who died from a drug overdose, which is nearly twice the national average.

Loretta Sanchez takes swipe at Democratic insiders as California Senate feud spills into DNC

PHILADELPHIA | California’s racially charged all-Democrat Senate race has spilled onto the Democratic National Convention as the candidates continued to feud over President Obama’s endorsement of one over the other.

Attorney General Kamala Harris, the recipient of Mr. Obama’s blessing, said Monday that she thought Rep. Loretta Sanchez should apologize to the president for suggesting that race played a role in the endorsement. Ms. Harris is black and Ms. Sanchez Hispanic.

“I find it very troubling, and I think that that is not the voice or perspective of a leader,” Ms. Harris told Fox11 in Los Angeles.

“Especially in these times, where if you want to be a leader, you should understand it’s in the best interest of our country to bring people together, not divide them, and certainly not based on race,” Ms. Harris said. “I frankly think she should apologize to the president of the United States.”

But Ms. Sanchez, a 10-term congresswoman who placed second to Ms. Harris in California’s top-two primary, showed no signs of backing down, reiterating her contention that Mr. Obama should not have taken sides in the all-Democratic race.

CareFirst ups insurance rate increase request for 2017

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a higher rate increase than expected — asking for a 27.8 percent increase to its HMO plan and a 36.6 percent increase to its PPO plan.

Those rates are higher than the initial request CareFirst made of 12 percent and 30 percent increases, respectively.

The new proposed rate increases would bring monthly premium prices for a mid-level plan for a 40-year-old Baltimore resident to between $382 and $478.

CareFirst is one of six health insurers operating in Maryland to request rate increases for individual and small group health plans for the coming year. Cigna's requested premium hike of 29.8 percent was the highest requested increase prior to CareFirst's revised request.

Clinton campaign braces for more DNC leaks

PHILADELPHIA — The Clinton campaign is bracing for another WikiLeaks email dump.

Jennifer Palmieri, the Clinton campaign's communications director told reporters she wouldn't be surprised if the rogue organization notorious for publishing hacked documents releases more emails from the trove it stole from the Democratic National Committee.

Palmieri said the campaign was not concerned about any of its emails or documents being released, and downplayed the impact another dump could have on the rest of the Democratic convention that will officially nominate Clinton for president Tuesday evening in a roll call vote of delegates.

"We're not concerned about our emails. The Wikileaks leak was obviously designed to hurt our convention so it's possible that they could do it — I don't think they're done," Palmieri said Tuesday. "That's how they operate."

"I don't understand people...who talk about us as being in decline, and who act as though we are not yet the greatest country that has ever been on the face of the Earth for all of history!"

Hillary Rodham Clinton, 25 July 2016

How can we possibly have any problems, except for malcontents, naysayers, and whiners? We are the greatest!

The Democratic establishment's lack of understanding of what a large portion of the public has been saying and thinking during this entire election cycle and beyond is both remarkable and yet understandable, given the insular bubble of easy money, crony capitalism, and endless favoritism in which their candidate and their pampered protégés exist.

This utter disconnect from the public is why liberal establishment figureheads can write columns in the New York Times suggesting that all must be well everywhere, because things are great in the affluent bubble-land of the Upper West Side of Manhattan, or in Silicon Valley. And then go on to imply that anyone who may disagree, who may be protesting and working for meaningful reform, is ignorant or dishonest.

California Delegates Convinced Trump Will Beat Hillary

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Donald Trump’s chances of winning California’s electoral votes this fall may seem slim, but state delegates to the Republican National Convention (RNC) are convinced the real estate mogul can pull it off.

“I think he’s going to win in a landslide,” Sam Barke, an 18-year-old alternate delegate from Orange County, told The Daily Caller News Foundation on the floor of the national convention at Quicken Loans Stadium in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

Barke wasn’t alone. In fact, all 172 of California’s delegates are bound to Trump and are some of his most ardent supporters. California delegates were reportedly some of the rowdiest Tuesday night, chanting “Trump, Trump, Trump” and booing at every mention of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“California is so excited,” Said Kim Davis, a deputy whip and Trump delegate. “California is so fired up, absolutely.”

Iraq finally bans fake bomb detectors after July 3 blast

BAGHDAD — For nearly a decade, anyone driving through one of Baghdad's many checkpoints was subjected to a search by a soldier pointing a security wand at their vehicle and watching the device intently to see if its antenna moved. If it pointed at the car, it had supposedly detected a possible bomb.

The wands were completely bogus. It had been proven years ago, even before 2013 when two British men were convicted in separate trials on fraud charges for selling the detectors. The devices, sold under various names for thousands of dollars each, apparently were based on a product that sold for about $20 and claimed to find golf balls.

Yet the Iraqi government continued to use the devices, spending nearly $60 million on them despite warnings by U.S. military commanders and the wands' proven failure to stop near-daily bombings in Baghdad.

Why Hillary Is Nervous: "More Leaks May Be Coming"

Over the weekend, Wikileaks posted a treasure trove of emails from various members of the Democrat party which has laid ruin to any hope for civility at the DNC's convention in Philadelphia. That said, Hillary's campaign seems to be even more concerned about what may be leaked next.

Jennifer Palmieri, Hillary's communication director, recently told reporters:

“The WikiLeaks leak was obviously designed to hurt our convention, I don’t think they’re done. That’s how they operate. We can’t know, but it’s part of the reason that we wanted people to understand our belief that the Russians are behind this. People need to understand — when these leaks happen — what they’re designed to do.”

Palmieri added that the Clinton campaign was not worried about it's own email security...which we're sure the American people will find very reassuring in the wake of that pesky little FBI investigation in which we learned just how secure Hillary's email account was.

Palmieri’s comments come as Democrats prepare to officially nominate Clinton for president, making her the first woman to be nominated for president by one of the two major political parties. Judging by yesterday's intraparty strife, one can only imagine how raucous today's roll-call will be.

Call us crazy, but the campaign seems to be spending way too much time spinning a narrative about Russian involvement, even going so far as to call on Hillary's friends at the FBI to look into the issue, for this scandal to fade quietly into the night. Something tells us that Jennifer knows more than she's letting on and that we'll get to review some more leaked emails soon.

Conditions Right For DNC Riot

PHILADELPHIA — It’s a perfect storm for rioting, as a combination of lax security, walled-off Democrat elites, and a huge mob of angry protesters have come together here at the Democratic National Convention.

As heavy thunderstorms put a damper on the thousands of protesters gathered outside the DNC, I sat down with veteran video journalist Jeremy Segal a.k.a. Rebel Pundit for a cheesesteak dinner. We agree: if the leftist activists do not cause total chaos on the streets of Philadelphia in the next few days, it’s only because they choose not to.

Segal, who was also at last week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, decided to come to Philadelphia after WikiLeaks dropped 20,000 emails over the weekend showing Bernie Sanders supporters’ that the election was rigged against their man. He knew that the tensions created by the document would exacerbate the already tense situation between Sanders supporters and the Democrat establishment.

Berlin To Spend $95K For Land, Fence To Address Unexpected Issue With New Community

BERLIN – Town officials agreed to spend $95,000 to purchase a strip of land between Cannery Village and Flower Street in an effort to eliminate trespassing concerns.

In response to complaints from Flower Street homeowners who said Cannery Village residents were cutting across their properties, officials agreed to purchase land to create a public walking path and to erect a fence. The fence will be installed between Cannery Village and the three Flower Street homes closest to the entrance to the development while a walking trail will be created on the roughly one-acre piece of land at 507 Flower St. It will provide access from the back of the Cannery Village development to Flower Street.

“That property will now be the town’s…” Mayor Gee Williams said. “As part of this agreement we would be next spring putting in a hiking, biking, walking trail.”

According to the agreement approved Monday, the town will pay 507 Flower Street LLC — a subsidiary of Cannery Village — $70,000 at the time of settlement. The remaining $25,000 of the purchase price will be put in escrow and will be used by the town to install a six-foot high vinyl fence along the back property line of the three Flower Street homes closest to the Cannery Village entrance. That money will also be used to plant arborvitae along the Cannery Village property line.

New Legislation Proposes To "Bail-In' Social Security

It was only a few weeks ago that I told you about the government’s annual report on Social Security.

It was a veritable death sentence for the program.

The Board of Trustees for Social Security (which includes the US Treasury Secretary) wrote that major parts of the program have already run out of money, and the rest of Social Security will run out of money in the next decade.

Amazing. Even Social Security knows that they’re bankrupt and unable to keep their promises to taxpayers.

This is going to cause an unbelievable crisis in the United States.

Think about it: half of Americans have ZERO retirement savings and will be fully dependent on the Social Security once they retire.

But by the time their retirement comes, the program will have likely already run out of money.

Well, the government has figured out a solution. And it’s genius.

Two weeks ago a new bill was introduced on the floor of Congress that, just like all the other really dangerous legislation, i.e. USA PATRIOT Act, this bill has a catchy acronym.

It’s called the SAVE UP Accounts Act, which stands for. . .

. . . “Secure, Accessible, Valuable, Efficient Universal Pension Accounts Act”.

I just tasted vomit in my mouth.

John Stossel: Bill and Hillary Clinton have a remarkable record of sleazy dealings. Why do they still thrive?

This week, as Democrats fawn over Hillary Clinton, I'm struck by how both Clintons continue to thrive despite their remarkable record of sleazy dealings.

The just released documentary "Clinton Cash," based on a book by Peter Schweizer, explains how they make big money by selling access to themselves.

On my TV show, Schweizer said the Clintons use "speaking fees" to get around bribery laws.

"If somebody gave a politician or family member money for a favor, that's breaking the law. But if you say it's a speaking fee, and you pay double or triple the normal rate, that seems to be legal."

Since Bill Clinton left office, he's earned more than $126 million giving speeches. Nothing wrong with that. Bill likes to talk, and if people want to pay big bucks to hear him or just to say they were near him, so be it. It's their own money.

But what suggests influence peddling, says Schweizer, is that before Hillary became secretary of state, Bill's usual fee was less than $200,000. But after Hillary became secretary of state, he made as much as $750,000 per speech.

McAuliffe Snaps CNN Is '100 Percent Wrong' for Story on Donations

Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Tuesday snapped at CNN anchor Erin Burnett that the network’s reporting was “100 percent wrong” about the federal probe over a donation into his 2013 gubernatorial campaign and demanded an apology.

CNN reported in May that Chinese businessman and former National People’s Congress delegate Wang Wenliang had donated $120,000 to McAuliffe. Election law prohibits foreign nationals from donating to federal, state, or local elections. He has also given $2 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Noting the Clinton Foundation has put Hillary Clinton under extra scrutiny for allegations of pay-for-play with foreign governments while she was secretary of state, Burnett asked McAuliffe, a staunch Clinton ally, if he thought it would be a problem for her.

“First of all, the story’s totally false,” he said. “CNN was 100 percent wrong, and they owe me an apology. This gentleman has never been under investigation … Your story was 100 percent wrong, and they actually came out the next day and said we aren’t looking at this gentleman. He’s never been contacted about it, nor have I.”

Hundreds of Empty DNC Seats for Hillary Clinton Coronation Speech 26th July 2016

The Video the Mainstream Media is Hiding: DNC Arena Half Empty After Delegate Walk Out

How Bill Clinton's tawdry affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky outraged his staff, devastated Hillary and could end up LOSING her the presidency

The discovery that he had oral sex with an intern in the Oval Office in January 1998 abruptly changed the course of Bill Clinton's presidency. But it wasn't breaking news to those who had worked closely with him during his Arkansas days.

Bill Clinton's womanizing had been louder than a buzzsaw for a long time.

But the emerging details of his tawdry liaison with the flirtatious and zaftig Monica Lewinsky was devastating to his staff.

It sent them into a tailspin and it jeopardized the legacy of his administration. It was also bitterly painful for Hillary Clinton. And it could be even more painful as her husband's dalliances come back to haunt the presidential candidate.

Already, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Dolly Kyle and Monica's confidante Linda Tripp have questioned Hillary's abilities to run the country.

Willey joined an organization to campaign against Hillary's presidential race earlier this year, while Tripp has said that Hillary 'must never become president'. Kyle has revealed that Hillary got her to lie about her affair on 60 Minutes and says she can't be trusted.

Jones called Hillary a 'liar'.

Bernie Sanders Leaves the Democratic Party

The nomination was barely sealed up at the Democratic National Convention before Bernie Sanders, who had campaigned against Hillary Clinton for the party’s nod, went back to being an Independent.

Sanders, who considers himself, officially, an Independent in Congress because his views lean further left than the Democratic party’s platform, caucuses with Democrats. But until declaring an intention to run for the presidency in 2015, he had rarely, if ever, identified as a member of the Democratic Party (he’s been in politics since 1979).

And now, despite pleading with his base to support Hillary, even though they’re concerned that she’s too moderate, Sanders will return to Vermont and to his seat in the Senate, and he’ll do it with no official party affiliation.

EXCLUSIVE: IRS Investigates Clinton Foundation's 'Pay-to-Play' Operations

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen referred congressional charges of corrupt Clinton Foundation “pay-to-play” activities to his tax agency’s exempt operations office for investigation, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of “public corruption” was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is “lawless.”

The initiative is being led by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican who serves as the vice chairwoman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which oversees FTC. The FTC regulates public charities alongside the IRS.

The lawmakers charged the Clinton Foundation is a “lawless ‘pay-to-play’ enterprise that has been operating under a cloak of philanthropy for years and should be investigated.”

No Cell Phones, Wi-Fi Allowed In Small W.Va. Town

GREEN BANK, W.Va. (KDKA) — Would you believe there’s a place where no one can use a cell phone? Where Wi-Fi is not allowed? Where even finding a radio station can be a difficult task?

There’s a town in West Virginia a few hours to south of Pittsburgh where all that is true.

Green Bank is a place where you can hear nature. Where you can hear yourself think. And that’s because some very important listening is going on.

You see, Green Bank is home to the largest moveable radio telescope in the world.

“For people in the immediate area of the telescope, we really need the quiet,” said Jay Lockman from the National Radio Astronomy Observatory.

They’re trying to pick up very faint signals from outer space, so people in this small town can’t have some of today’s modern conveniences.

“I guess in some sense, you can say they can’t have 2016,” said Lockman. “They’re living in 1990.”

For starters, cell phones do not work here. But people here, including Sherry Chestnut at Trent’s General Store, they don’t miss them.

“Absolutely not cause I’ve never had one!” said Chestnut. “So I don’t have anything to miss.”

“Emergency-wise it would be nice to have one,” said Debbie Birely, who also works at Trent’s. “But for peacefulness, we don’t need ’em.”

Lawyers Repeatedly Flagged Illicit Politicking by Dem Legal Strategy Group

Democratic Party lawyers had to step in repeatedly to prevent illegal or prohibited political fundraising by a new Democratic National Committee group designed to coordinate legal strategy with hundreds of friendly attorneys, internal documents show.

Multiple proposed fundraising pitches by the new Democratic Lawyers Committee (DLC) invoked the names of high-ranking administration officials in what would have been violations of federal laws and White House policies against political activity by administration officials, according to emails between the group’s top staffers and their attorneys.

The hacked emails, released by the group WikiLeaks last week, provide a detailed narrative of the DLC’s formation and its hectic first few months, which saw celebrity attorney Gloria Allred micromanaging the group’s self-described “propaganda,” a senior DNC staffer admonishing colleagues for nearly spoiling its rollout with illicit fundraising asks, and DNC staffers pretending to be then-chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz on email in order to land a venue for a high-dollar fundraiser.

Anti-Semitism, Violence Against Jews Surge on College Campuses

Anti-Semitism surged on college campuses across the United States during the first part of 2016, according to a new study that found Jewish students supportive of Israel are being targeted “for harm.”

Nearly 100 more anti-Semitic incidents were recorded on U.S. college campuses during the first six months of 2016 compared with the same period in 2015, according to the report, published by the AMCHA Initiative, a group that works to combat discrimination against Jews.

In addition, “the number of incidents involving the suppression of Jewish students’ freedom of speech and assembly approximately doubled from 2015 to 2016,” according to the report, which also found that a massive uptick in anti-Israel behavior “was highly correlated with behavior that targeted Jewish students for harm.”

“The number of incidents opposing Israel’s right to exist nearly tripled from 2015 to 2016,” according to the report, which provides further evidence that anti-Israel activism on campus is fueling aggression against Jewish students and placing them in harm’s way.

Joe Bastardi: Food for Thought on the Eve of the Real Hurricane Season

We are in the Phony War part of the hurricane season. The WWII buffs out there know what that term means, but for those who don’t,here’s an explanation.

There are many examples of hurricane seasons that start quickly then fall apart completely before they come roaring back.

We believe this is a big impact season on the U.S. coast.

Our pre-season forecast was initially released in April — with the biggest concern in the Gulf of Mexico — which we then finalized in May, lighting up the western Atlantic and Gulf. The closer to the U.S., the bigger the worry about the intensity of storms this year given the very warm sea surface temperatures near the shore.

That warm water is eerily similar to the hurricane seasons of 1954 to 1960, when eight major hurricanes impacted the U.S. East Coast in seven years, including five in the back-to-back years of 1954 and 1955. This means that storms may not be much way out in the Atlantic, but as they get closer to the U.S. we have the threat of them increasing in intensity rather than backing off a peak reached out at sea.

Now imagine it’s 1960. Kennedy vs. Nixon is looming and up comes the ultimate East Coast storm, Hurricane Donna. It hits Florida as a Category 4, North Carolina as a Category 3, New England as a Category 2. The monster brings hurricane winds to every state on the East Coast, never before recorded in the nation’s history (and never since!). And as the storm is marching across the Atlantic a set of people decide to use it as a wedge issue in the election.

Hillary Clinton Says As President, She Would Call Obama, 'Asking for His Advice'

Democrat Hillary Clinton has campaigned on the promise to carry on where President Obama left off -- to make her first term President Obama's third term, in effect.

In an intervew with CBS's "60 Minutes" on Sunday, Clinton said she'll be "relying" on Obama when he leaves office: "You know, I've already put him on notice. I'm going to be picking up the phone. I'm going to be calling and asking for his advice."

Clinton was making the point that she would have the advice of two former presidents -- Obama and her own husband Bill.

The comments came after correspondent Scott Pelley told Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, "You're going to be vice president in a White House with two presidents." Kaine called it "an embarrassment of riches."

Then Clinton jumped in: "I think it's an all-hands-on-deck time. We're going to have a cracker-jack staff. And we're going to have, you know, great efforts with our congressional allies and others.

Trump Repudiates David Duke’s Senate Candidacy

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump ‘rebuked’ the Senate candidacy of former Ku Klux Klan member David Duke during an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press”
on Sunday.

“David Duke announced his Senate candidacy claiming your agenda for his own, or essentially saying, ‘Glad that you spoke out,’” NBC's Chuck Todd said.

“Are you ready, before you ask the question?” Trump asked.

“Newt Gingrich said, ‘Every Republican should repudiate this guy no matter what it takes--’” Todd said.

“I did, and I do. Are you ready? I want—” Trump said.

“Would you support a Democrat over David Duke if that was what was necessary to defeat him?” Todd asked.

“I guess, depending on who the Democrat, but the answer would be yes. Look, the answer is, as quick as you can say it. In fact, I went to answer you before you—” Trump responded. “Because last time with another person in your position, I did it very quickly, and they said, ‘He didn't do it fast enough.’ Rebuked. Is that okay? Rebuked, done.”

Trump: 'We Will Build Safe Havens Over in Syria'

(CNSNews.com) - "I would stop the Syrian migration and the Syrians from coming into this country in two seconds," Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told NBC's "Meet the Press."

"There is no way that you can vet some of these people. There is no way," Trump said.

"You realize some of these folks have nowhere to go?" Chuck Todd asked Trump. "They are truly victims of this civil war. What do you do with them?"

"We will help them and we will build safe havens over in Syria, and we will get...Gulf states to pay for it because we right now have -- we're going to have $21 trillion very soon -- trillion -- in debt. We will do safe havens and safe zones in Syria and we will get nations that are so wealthy, that are not doing anything, they are not doing much, they have nothing but money.

"And you know who I'm talking about, the Gulf states, and we will get them to pay for it. We would lead it. I don't want to pay because our country is going down the tubes. We owe too much money."

Exclusive: ‘Hillary Clinton Took Me Through Hell,’ Rape Victim Says

The woman at the center of the scandal over Hillary Clinton’s defense of an alleged child rapist speaks out in depth for the first time.
Hillary Clinton is known as a champion of women and girls, but one woman who says she was raped as a 12-year-old in Arkansas doesn’t think Hillary deserves that honor. This woman says Hillary smeared her and used dishonest tactics to successfully get her attacker off with a light sentence—even though, she claims, Clinton knew he was guilty.

The victim in the 1975 sexual abuse case that became Clinton’s first criminal defense case as a 27-year-old lawyer has only spoken to the media once since her attack, a contested, short interaction with a reporter in 2008, during Clinton’s last presidential campaign run. Now 52, she wants to speak out after hearing Clinton talk about her case on newly discovered audio recordings from the 1980s, unearthed by the Washington Free Beaconand made public this week.

In a long, emotional interview with The Daily Beast, she accused Clinton of intentionally lying about her in court documents, going to extraordinary lengths to discredit evidence of the rape, and later callously acknowledging and laughing about her attackers’ guilt on the recordings.

OBAMA CLAIMS WHITE HOUSE BUILT BY SLAVES; HERE’S THE TRUTH

Oh, the White House was built by slaves Michelle? You mean US taxpayers… I know, sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference, it confuses us too.

There’s just one big problem with her statement, which has also been echoed by her husband: it’s not entirely true. But don’t expect the media to tell you why.

Via Top Right News:

First, the White House was not built solely — or even primarily — by slaves.

Most of the labor force consisted of local White laborers and artisans (from Maryland and Virginia) and a number of immigrants from Ireland, Scotland, and other European nations.
As the project neared completion — the lime-based whitewashing that gives the building its iconic appearance…slaves were indeed added to the mix.But once again, facts get in the way of the Obama’s preachy race-baiting.

That’s because the U.S. government actually paid the slaves who worked on the White House.

A Viewer Writes: Public Information Act Request

Good morning Joe, it's been stated several times now about the problems and mishandling of several situations within Salisbury city government.

Here's my question if there is so much much dissatisfaction with the way city administrator STEVENSON was appointed by ex-mayor Ireton and continues to be permitted to hold the position under Day can a request be made under Salisbury's city charter public information act request to bring out in the open Mr Stevenson's troubled past with a dishonorable discharge from military for failed drug tests. And then to fail another while a city employee working on the city's maintenance crew? Why was this man first of all hired with a dishonorable discharge for drug use but to fail one while a city employee to leave city employment and come back and be re-hired again only to be given the highest position in city government when others wouldn't even still be employed it been hired in the first place. Can his military record and disciplinary records while a city of Salisbury employee be mandatory made public to expose this injustice??

Caught on Video: Black Lives Matter Literally Orders ‘White People’ to the ‘Back’ of Protest

While the Democratic National Convention was making headlines Tuesday, a group of Black Lives Matter protesters took to the streets in Philadelphia to protest recent police-involved shootings of black men.

But there was one moment in particular that is making waves on social media: one activist attempted to segregate reporters based on their race.

“White media get to the back! Black media come to the front!” the demonstrator shouted into a microphone.

When white members of the media did not immediately comply with her surreal request, the activist singled them out, telling the crowd that protesters are “not afraid to put people out.”

Throughout the rant, she said she “need[s] all white people to move back,” telling them to “take your rightful positions, and get behind us.” She also offered this instruction to fellow Black Lives Matter protesters: ”Y’all see any white folks, direct them to the back of the crowd.”

A Viewer Writes: Note to Veterans

Joe,

Just wanting to let fellow veterans be aware, and your blog seems the best way to do that.

I am a retired veteran and because Salisbury is a quite a distance from the Baltimore VA Hospital, I as well as many others on the Eastern Shore are eligible for the Veterans Choice Program which allows Veterans to be seen by local doctors. I am reminding all Vets using this program to maintain "situational awareness" in regards to any billing or other dealings with this program and the providers offices.

My situation is this. I had an appointment/office visit back in May in Seaford Delaware to see a provider. That provider has for the last 3 months, sent me a bill which they are NOT supposed to do, it is actually a breach of their contract between the doctors offices and the VA/Veterans Choice program. The bill is supposed to be going directly to the VA/Veterans Choice program. I have been on the phone today with Healthnet Government Services (the organization who arranges the appointments) discussing this situation. Also, within the last 3 months I have sent letters and copies of the bills to the provider's billing address and to the Veterans Choice program, and nothing has been paid. And then on July 22, I received another bill. According to Healthnet, there are other veterans using this same provider in this same situation. And it may be happening with other providers as well. So all in all, the provider has not fulfilled their side of the contract correctly.

Also, I have been trying to call the phone number on the bill several times today already and no one answers the phone. I am withholding the name of the provider because I am going to call the office directly and see if I can help straighten out the situation first. If that flops, and this situation grows even more, then I will post the name.

So, all this to say, Vets, don't let your guard down when it comes to billing. Be aware if you get a bill in the mail, something went awry. My concern is that my non-payment will soon reflect on my credit and or I may start getting calls from collections. Hopefully, my situation will be resolved soon.

Joe,

In continuation of the previous email, I contacted the above mentioned doctors billing department and only because of the letter I had sent them before, did they straighten things out and get the bill sent to the VA on July 20th. So, my next step is to call the claims department and see if they have received and paid the bill, I'll do that in a few days.

Amazing insight into what US intelligence knew about Hitler in 1943

One of history's most brutal tyrants was a diagnosed schizophrenic on a mission to avenge his childhood years of repressed rage, according to Henry Murray, an American psychologist and a Harvard professor.

In 1943, the US Office of Strategic Services, a precursor to the CIA, commissioned Murray to study Adolf Hitler's personality to try to predict his behavior. In his 229-page report, "Analysis of the Personality of Adolf Hitler," Murray described Hitler as a paranoid "utter wreck" who was "incapable of normal human relationships."

"It is forever impossible to hope for any mercy or humane treatment from him," Murray wrote.

Top Dem: Quit Your Job and Kids for Hillary!

Because this election, and the culture of dependency, are both so important to Democrats, Senator Al Franken took to the stage last night and attempted to kill two birds with one stone. The former SNL star implored Democrats to quit their jobs and their kids. No, seriously. Have a listen(cut to the 40 second mark):

We know that Democrats think children are a burden, and that people who choose to have them, rather than abort them, are environmental terrorists, but this is ridiculous. It also might be genius. If Franken might have decided to continue his speech, we imagine he'd say something like:

"And when that kid is 15 and thinks you've abandoned them permanently, they'll have a home on tumblr with all the other social justice warriors!"

God help us all. If we haven't said it enough. This IS the most important election of your lifetime. For the sake of all of America's children, born and unborn, please do everything in your power to make sure Crooked Hillary never sets foot in the White House again.

Groups seek to help veteran held as motel hostage for years

ALBANY, N.Y. — Veterans' organizations have reached out to help a Korean War-era veteran who authorities say was held hostage in a motel room for four years by a man who stole his benefit checks.

Groups in New York, Ohio and Virginia have offered assistance to David McLellan, an 81-year-old Navy veteran and retired auto plant worker, said Highlands police Detective Joseph Cornetta.

Last week, police arrested 43-year-old Perry Coniglio at the motel where both men lived and charged him with grand larceny, menacing and endangering the welfare of an incompetent person.

Coniglio used "brute force and intimidation" to get McLellan to hand over monthly Ford Motor Co. pension and Social Security checks totaling several thousand dollars, police said. He also is accused of selling McLellan's vehicle and keeping the proceeds after telling the buyers that he was the older man's guardian.

Coniglio remained in the county jail on $15,000 bail Monday.
Messages seeking comment on the accusations against him were left for his Legal Aid Society attorney.

#Demexit: Sanders Delegates Walk out of Convention in Protest

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania — Hundreds of delegates for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) walked out of the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday evening and staged a sit-in inside the media center in protest against a “rigged” election.

The delegates waited until the roll call vote to nominate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was complete, with Sanders himself closing the process. Then they donned black gags, raised protest signs, held their fists high, and walked out en masse.
