The pandemic supposedly got people back into their kitchens — baking bread and making comfort food casseroles. But around here, we’ve actually found ourselves getting take-out a little more often. At first it was a way to support local restaurants, and then it became increasingly uncomfortable to linger in grocery stores hunting for rarely-used ingredients for new recipes. Plus, there’s just the fact that when there are other stressors on the mind, it’s nice to have one less thing on the mental bandwidth.
So we’re still cooking (Jeremy’s stupidly-easy-but-incredibly-delicious biscuits have seen perennial action), but restaurant take-out has ended up in the dinnertime rotation a bit more frequently.
Something I noticed after consuming these Styrofoam-encased meals, is that we sometimes ended up with some leftover French fries. Restaurants often accompany their entrees with outsized portions of them, and our kids especially don’t always have the appetite to finish theirs off. The leftover fries would end up in the fridge, where they would invariably remain untouched, and then be shunted to the trash.

Top state official caught using 'doctored' chart, data to push face mask mandate
'Governor Kelly and her administration have failed Kansans time and again'
A top Kansas official is facing criticism after he was caught using a "doctored" chart to justify face mask mandates.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Lee Norman presented a coronavirus case chart to the media last week to contrast Kansas counties abiding by Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's mask mandate and those that have not, The Sentinel reported.
Norman claimed that counties abiding by the mandate are "winning the battle," suggesting that counties that have not followed the mandate are losing.

20,000 fake driver's licenses from China seized in Chicago
Another 2,000 counterfeit U.S. driver's licenses were intercepted at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
Customs and Border Protection officers seized nearly 20,000 counterfeit U.S. driver's licenses at Chicago's O'Hare airport this year. The shipment of fake driver's licenses were sent to the United States and originated from China and other countries, according to the report from WNYW-TV.
Within the first six months of this year, CBP reportedly seized 19,888 counterfeit driver's licenses and other fake documents in 1,513 shipments at O'Hare International Airport alone. Federal customs officials say the shipments arrived mostly from China and Hong Kong, but there were some shipments from South Korea and Britain.

Brian Williams and His Obama Guy STILL Claiming Trump's Russian-Owned
It's amazing how leftist cable shows sound like they're still stuck in 2017 complaining about how Russia owns Donald Trump. Take truth-challenged MSNBC host Brian Williams, who oozed on Friday night that Trump is "absent" when the house is "on fire." He brought on MSNBC analyst Jeremy Bash -- a top aide in Obama's Pentagon and CIA -- to analyze the new report on Russia, China, and Iran and the election. Russia favors Trump, and the other two favor Biden.
Naturally, Bash and Williams chose to ignore the parts of the report about China and Iran and focused exclusively on Russia with Bash alleging that Moscow has heaped tremendous benefits from their 2016 "investment."
Williams began with his usual hyperbole, "the house, we are told, is on fire. Absent a president in the fight, it's a uniquely helpless feeling, isn't it, for the remaining few of us troubled by the idea that Russia is actively engaged in a presidential election less than 90 days away. Who do we -- is there someone in customer service that, again, the small subset of us who still care about such things, who do we see about this?"
Oh, woe to the virtuous subset that never gave up their conspiracy theory....

Stelter Claims Left-Wing Media Not Dedicated to ‘Tearing Down Trump’
CNN chief medial reporter Brian Stelter beclowned himself yet again during Sunday’s no-so Reliable Sources. Between raging at right-wing media and talk radio for questioning Joe Biden’s mental lucidity, and claiming left-wing hacks like himself weren’t dedicated to “tearing down” President Trump, Stelter was out to prove that he was willing to lie with impunity. And at one point, a guest floated the idea of weaponizing the Federal Communication Commission to target and presumably shut down right-wing talk radio.
Gaslighting his viewers from the get-go, Stelter hoped they wouldn’t remember how he was among the first in the liberal media to demand the press start questioning Trump’s mental health, as he railed against right-wing media for now questioning Biden’s.
Suggesting his opponents lived in “a totally alternative universe,” he warned CNN’s gullible, lefty viewers: “What you are about to hear them say is mind-boggling. Look, whether you like Biden or not, this stuff is offensive and other-worldly.”
After acting like it was some great mystery as to why right-wing figures were switching over to discussing the election instead of coronavirus (it’s not like two conventions are coming up later this month and debates in September), Stelter argued that what we’re seeing was hyper “negative partisanship” coming from right-wing media (Click “expand”):

They Need Help: MSNBC Freaks Over 'NO LIMITS' to Trump's Madness
Trump Derangement Syndrome is no laughing matter. The Trump-hating guests on today's AM Joyon MSNBC quite literally appeared to have lost their marbles. The deranged collective view of Sarah Kendzior, Elie Mystal, and Tara Dowdell can be summed up as follows:
President Trump is a "sadistic" psychopath who intentionally inflicted COVID on blue states, thereby committing crimes against humanity. The international community should impose sanctions on the US, and corrupt leaders like Trump should be "hauled off" to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Finally, regardless of who wins the election, Trump will encourage violence, and there will be violence. Got all that?

MSNBC's Melber Mangles His Fact Check of Bill Barr on Police Violence
When journalists discuss the issue of suspects being killed by police officers and how it relates to race, one thing you'll never see them do is to provide the specific numbers that show the breakdown among different racial groups that would allow the issue to be put in perspective.
On Wednesday afternoon, MSNBC host Ari Melber reacted to an argument made last week in House testimony by Attorney General Bill Barr in which he pointed out that unarmed whites (who are rarely ever acknowledged by the media) killed by police outnumber unarmed blacks, undermining the liberal narrative that only one racial group is affected by police violence.
Melber also recalled the recent attention-getting case of a black family who were mistaken for car thieves and arrested in Aurora, Colorado, and misleadingly made it sound like they were pulled over simply because of their race.

Democrat Puppet Ali Velshi Begs Obama Adviser, ‘Tell Us’ How to Cover Biden’s VP!
Some journalists in the media aren’t even hiding they are Democrat activists, anymore. From his MSNBC pedestal Sunday, Ali Velshi actually berated viewers to vote Democrat in November or be complicit in America’s misogyny towards women. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Biden lackey went on to literally beg Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to tell the media how to report sympathetically on Biden’s female VP pick.
The Velshi host ended his show’s first hour trying to bully viewers into voting for Biden. He lectured the only way America would be “great again” would be if a woman was in office because Americans had been too sexist to vote for a woman leading up to this point. The amount of women in Congress and all other levels of political leadership in America didn’t seem to diminish Velshi’s zeal for hyperbole:
Today we find ourselves on the cusp of history…It's going to take real effort to mess this one up, but if there’s anything America can mess up, it's the advancement of women. I don’t know if its misogyny or sexism but it sure is something. We find reasons to criticize, chastise woman candidates in a way we don't do with men...From women, we demand a plan, we want to see receipts and we often vote for someone else anyway. Whatever this thing is we've been doing so long, it's time to stop, end the double standards, the age-old criticisms that have plagued women in our society and politics for centuries.
We spent the last 3 1/2 years showing the world how great we are not. We have less than three months to remind the world that America can be again, to demonstrate what female leadership looks like in America, to prove why we are great, to embrace the ideals that we say we stand for.

Liz Peek: Trump's big win on relief orders – here's why Pelosi, Schumer are so unhappy
The president understands the urgency – and he understands political hardball
What a smackdown!
Furious that Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were blocking a bill to help Americans through the COVID-19 crisis, President Trump stepped up and got the job done, all by himself.
Over the weekend, he issued four executive orders that would extend modified unemployment relief to millions who are out of work, protect many from eviction from their homes, provide continued relief from student loan debt and suspend payroll taxes for employers and those earning less than $100,000. It may not be enough, but it was more than Democrats were offering.

Obama’s former National Security Advisor Susan “Benghazi” Rice admitted under oath she emailed with Hillary Clinton on Clinton’s private email system.
Susan Rice said in her written response to Judicial Watch that she also received emails related to official government business on her own personal email account.
Rice said she ‘does not recall’ a total of 18 times in a 13-page interrogatory in response to discovery granted to Judicial Watch by Judge Royce Lamberth.
Judicial Watch in 2015 discovered Hillary Clinton used a private server and blew the story wide open after uncovering emails she sent from a non “state.gov” email account.

Black male leaders warn Biden ‘will lose’ election if he doesn't name Black female running mate
Black female VP contenders are being 'unfairly criticized and scrutinized,' the statement says
A group of over 100 Black male leaders is declaring that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden “has” to name a Black woman as his running mate.
In a letter made public on Monday, the signatories warned the former vice presidentthat “failing to select a Black woman in 2020 means you will lose the election.”
And pointing to the intense scrutiny some of the running mate contenders have endured in recent weeks, the group wrote that it “disgusts us that Black women are not just being vetted in this VP process but unfairly criticized and scrutinized.”

In early July federal law enforcement officers arrested Jason Charter, the alleged ‘ringleader’ of the attempted toppling of the Andrew Jackson equestrian statue in Lafayette Park across the street from the White Housea a week earlier. President Trump has made it a priority to catch and prosecute those involved in the attack on the statue.
Jason Charter was also part of the Antifa goon squad attack on One America News Network Jack Posobiec last Friday at the Emancipation Statue in D.C. but is not yet reported to have been charged on that incident.

THE DEMOCRATIC PANIC RATCHETS UP
Find out why the left is freaking out
The Democratic panic is in full gear. You can hear it in the warbling of former President Obama as the hellhounds draw nearer.
You could hear it in Pelosi and Schumer as they failed to support the American people during a plandemic shutdown.
One need look no further than Joe Biden, who is the Democrat panic incarnate.
Biden is a blubbering, senile, old-school, racist, globalist minion representing a portion of America that is so confused they would willingly support him.

The single biggest U.S. mass shooting of 2020 occurred over the weekend in Washington, but because the story didn't "help the Biden campaign," it went largely unreported on, Tucker Carlson said Monday.
"Twenty-one people were shot in this single incident ... more than half of them were women. One was a D.C. Police officer. It was the single biggest mass shooting in America this year and yet you probably heard nothing about it," the "Tucker Carlson Tonight" host said.

Trump argues Susan Rice has this ‘potential liability’ if Biden chooses her for VP
Trump's comments could preview his line of attack if Biden picks her to run on the ticket
President Trump on Monday argued the U.S. government surveillance of people connected to his 2016 campaign during the Obama era could be a “potential liability” for former national security adviser Susan Rice if she is selected as Joe Biden’s running mate.
“I don’t want to say how much she’s involved,” Trump said of Rice during a Monday press briefing, referencing the surveillance of people on his campaign. “Frankly, if he chooses her that’s fine, but that’s a potential liability.”
His comments in response to a question about Rice could preview his line of attack should Biden choose her to run on the Democratic ticket.
Trump has long railed against the surveillance of several figures on his campaign, including his first national security adviser Michael Flynn, who campaigned for Trump in 2016, and foreign policy campaign adviser Carter Page.

Paper: Chicago Prosecutor Kim Foxx Has Dropped 25,183 Felony Cases
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has dropped over 25,000 felony cases, including charges of murder and the alleged hate crime hoax from former Empire star Jussie Smollett, according to an analysis released by the Chicago Tribune on Monday.
During Foxx’s first three years as the county’s top prosecutor, her office dropped all charges against 29.9% of felony defendants, a dramatic increase over her predecessor, the Tribune found. For the last three years of Anita Alvarez’s tenure, the rate was 19.4%.
In all, a total of 25,183 people had their felony cases dismissed under Foxx through November 2019, up from 18,694 for a similar period under Alvarez.
For the three-year period analyzed, Foxx’s office dropped 8.1% of homicide cases, compared with 5.3% under Alvarez, the Tribune found. Under Foxx, the office dropped 9.5% of felony sex crime cases; the rate was 6.5% for Alvarez.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Broke Up Gay Beach Party; Failed to Protect Downtown
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is facing criticism from an outraged city after she devoted personal attention to clearing a beach party from the lakefront but could not stop looters from ransacking the Magnificent Mile and other retail districts.
On Saturday, Lightfoot tweeted a photograph of a gathering near Lake Michigan, featuring a large group of shirtless, swimsuit-clad men enjoying the sun at Montrose Beach, near the city’s LGBTQ-friendly Boystown neighborhood.
Lightfoot commented angrily: “It’s called a pandemic, people. This reckless behavior on Montrose Beach is what will cause us to shut down the parks and lakefront. Don’t make us take steps backwards.”

Lori Lightfoot Rejects National Guard in Chicago After Night of Looting
Chicago officials announced Monday morning that police would be placed on high alert, with 12-hour shifts and expanded patrols throughout the city after the Magnificent Mile downtown was attacked by organized looters overnight.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot stopped short, however, of calling for the National Guard, which had been used to protect the downtown area after an initial wave of riots in late May. There was no mention of federal law enforcement, either.
(Update: At a subsequent press conference, Lightfoot, standing alongside Governor J.B. Pritzker, said that “both of us believe this is not an incident that requires the National Guard. … We do not need federal troops in Chicago. Period. Full stop.” She added that President Donald Trump should help by enacting “common-sense gun control.” If Trump wanted to help, she said, he should not “rattle the saber” but rather enact gun control, which she said would provide “real safety.”)
Superintendent David Brown told journalists at a press conference (carried live on the Facebook page of local ABC affiliate WLS-7 TV) that the looting was triggered by a shooting on the South Side of Chicago, when a 20-year-old suspect who was fleeing police fired at officers in pursuit. After officers returned fire and injured the suspect, who was hospitalized and is expected to survive, a crowd gathered.
“Tempers flared, fueled by misinformation as the afternoon led into evening,” Brown said,

Biden Touts Catholic Faith A Month After Vowing To Crack Down On Nuns
The Democratic National Convention’s Twitter account posted a video touting Biden’s Catholic background on Sunday, exactly one month after Biden vowed to strip a group of nuns of their right to refuse providing contraceptives that violate their Catholic beliefs.
In the minute-long clip, Biden talks about meeting a group of nuns in St. Peter’s Basilica, saying they “epitomize everything…about generosity to other people, about reaching out, about making it a point to understand that we are our brother’s keeper.”
“That’s what, in my experience, being raised as a Catholic and being educated by the nuns, that’s what those lovely women I’m talking to symbolize to me,” he continued, punctuated by soft music and footage of Biden with the Pope and with smiling nuns

Sorry, Anti-Trumpers, It Looks Like the DC Circuit *Is* Concerned Over Flynn Judge’s Bias
This is one saga that should have ended eons ago. It should have ended when Attorney General William Barr filed a motion to dismiss the criminal charges against Michael Flynn, who was forced to plead guilty to “lying to the FBI” charges after having the screw put to him by the Mueller investigation; they threatened him with financial ruin. The judge in his case, Emmet Sullivan, who had called the former general a traitor over the Trump-Russia collusion myth, refused to drop the case. The prosecutor has resigned. There was no case. The motion detailed a lengthy history of the prosecutorial misconduct hurled at Flynn, with then-top FBI officials James Comey and Andrew McCabe looking to get Flynn no matter what.
To add another layer of intrigue, it does like pretty clear that Obama indirectly gave the order to have his people clip him politically. The intention of that January 5, 2017 meeting with his top national security and law enforcement officials, where he said to “get the right people” on Flynn when discussing how some these leftovers would protect the FBI probe from the incoming Trump administration is clear given the events that transpired afterward. Oh, and former Vice President Joe Biden was the one who suggested using the Logan Act to go after Flynn for having run-of-the-mill phone calls with now-ex Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, phone calls that even Comey said looked “legit.” This was a political assassination.
Now, the DC Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Sullivan dropping the case. He appealed and now we have an en banc hearing on August 11, but this move could end up “disqualifying” Sullivan from the proceedings. The DC Circuit seems to be worried about the level of bias exhibited by Sullivan and that he should be prepared to answer questions about that. I’ll have the lawyers explain the rest, like ‘Shipwreckedcrew’ over at RedState, where he adds how Sullivan turned this case into a total fiasco and one where a possible outcome is that Sullivan is removed from the case as he’s become a “nominal party”:

He appealed and now we have an en banc hearing on August 11, but this move could end up “disqualifying” Sullivan from the proceedings. The DC Circuit seems to be worried about the level of bias exhibited by Sullivan and that he should be prepared to answer questions about that. I’ll have the lawyers explain the rest, like ‘Shipwreckedcrew’ over at RedState, where he adds how Sullivan turned this case into a total fiasco and one where a possible outcome is that Sullivan is removed from the case as he’s become a “nominal party”:

Based on These New FBI Docs, It's Hard to Not See This as a Spy Operation Against Donald Trump
So, let’s take a step back for a second. You’ve all had your suspicions about the FBI, Donald Trump, and the 2016 election. The FBI weaponized the unverified and overall garbage political opposition research document called the Trump dossier launched a counterintelligence probe into Russian collusion; the file was a Democrat-funded endeavor, by the way. We know that Stefan Halper was an informant for the bureau. We know his supervisor was reportedly some woman named ‘Azra Turk,’ who tried to glean information using her female attributes from George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign official. He was one of three campaign staffers, the others being Sam Clovis and Carter Page, who were targeted by this operation called Crossfire Hurricane. Papadopoulos think Turk was CIA, so that’s a whole other thing. Hello, John Brennan, right?
Folks, the FBI set up an operation where informants tried to get information from Trump campaign officials under false pretenses and then relay that information to their superiors. Somehow, this isn’t called spying for some in the liberal media. For normal people, this is spying. Now, new FBI documents declassified in July show that the FBI used a fake briefing as a means to glean information from Donald Trump himself. This same method was also used to spy on both Trump and Michael Flynn, who was accused of being a Russian agent. The FBI interviewed him, though they didn’t have any evidence that he was an agent of Russia. Six days after the bureau interviewed Flynn in January of 2017, not only did the DOJ draft a memo exonerating him of the charges. The agents who spoke with the then-national security adviser felt he didn’t lie to them. This document was buried for years while Flynn was crucified by anti-Trump federal investigators at both the DOJ and at the Special Counsel’s office (via The Federalist):
MoreNewly declassified internal Federal Bureau of Investigation documents prove the top U.S. law enforcement agency used a so-called defensive briefing of the Trump campaign in 2016 to spy on and collect information about Donald Trump himself. The new documents, which are just the latest in a string of declassifications regarding the FBI operation to spy on the Trump campaign and later the Trump administration, detail the FBI’s attempts to use a briefing ostensibly meant to warn the Trump campaign about foreign intelligence threats to spy on the Trump campaign itself. The documents were formally declassified by Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on July 23 then provided to Sens. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee. In one of the documents declassified and released on Wednesday, FBI supervisory Special Agent Joe Pientka wrote that he deliberately used the briefing to “actively listen for topics or questions” from Trump “regarding the Russian Federation.” Rather than provide the Trump campaign a specific warning that certain campaign principals were being targeted by Russian intelligence, the FBI instead gave a general, non-specific warning that foreign intelligence services might eventually target the campaign.Pientka’s written summary of the briefing noted that Trump, Michael Flynn, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were the only three Trump campaign members in attendance. Christie’s attendance had not previously been disclosed. The August 17, 2016 meeting came the day after the FBI opened a formal counterintelligence investigation against Flynn and just two days after FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok texted his former lover, FBI attorney Lisa Page, about an “insurance policy” he had designed to keep Trump from becoming president.“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy [McCabe]’s office—that there’s no way he gets elected—but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok texted Page on August 15, 2016. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40….The very next day Strzok opened an investigation of Flynn then used the pretext of a defensive intelligence briefing to collect intelligence on both Flynn and Trump on August 17.
Why Joe Biden is in trouble
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden just had his worst week of the campaign cycle. The former vice president was bombarded with plenty of unrelenting criticism of his policies for days, unable to defend his platform from the harsh attacks that even came from the mainstream media.
A recent article in Politico noted that his proposals would raise $4 trillion over a decade, thanks to increased rates on high income households and businesses, citing a study by the Tax Policy Center. Biden came under fire for his record over the economy, his support for the North American Free Trade Agreement, his suspicious backing of China, and other issues.
Biden also decided last week not to attend the Democratic convention, a political coronation ceremony that would have finally pushed him from his basement and out in front of a real live audience. About the same time, we also learned that Donald Trump beat his opponent in fundraising by more than $25 million last month, dealing Biden another terrible setback.

Robot Chicken Butchers, Brought to You by COVID-19
The trend toward robots and computers taking jobs people have held is getting a big push from COVID-19.
A human face behind the counter is traditionally a welcome sight, but now people are warier of close contact with strangers. That opens the door to robots taking orders, flipping burgers, even delivering room service meals.
“This was an issue for germaphobes, and now everybody is going to be a germaphobe. The future started in March,” said Johannes Moenius, a University of Redlands business professor.
Adding some robots can help factories keep up production when they must limit the number of human workers for safety’s sake. Robots can even do now-dangerous hospital jobs such as cleaning rooms and allowing doctors and nurses to communicate remotely with patients to minimize staff exposure.

South Dakota ‘Back the Blue’ Rally Sees Generous Turnout
A Sioux Falls, South Dakota, group came together to organize a “Back the Blue” rally to show support for law enforcement on Saturday.
There was a generous turnout at the rally, where people lined the streets near the Law Enforcement Center in Sioux Falls and waved American flags and other flags showing support for law enforcement.
People holding signs that read “Defend the Police” and “We Back the Blue” could also be seen along the streets.
Organizers of the rally also began raising money to purchase supplies for Sioux Falls law enforcement.
“My dad’s a former police officer and I have some other friends that are law enforcement in that area. So, this is the least that I can do to, or most I can do, to say ‘hey, thank you for protecting everybody,’” Ashley Dickerson, a rally participant, told KELO.
There was also a group of 20 counterprotesters who gathered across the street.

Chicago to use Social Media to track Tourist violating Quarantine; city dismisses comparison to 'Big Brother'
CHICAGO - On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t post that selfie.
Chicago is doubling down on efforts to enforce its emergency coronavirus travel order, as officials will now be reviewing the social media posts of possible violators as the pandemic continues.
Public health authorities shared the update during a news conference earlier this week, revealing that officials may check the social feeds of suspected offenders to collect evidence for a possible citation, according to USA Today. The outlet reports that suspected violators will be identified as such through “contact tracing or other measures."
The city’s emergency travel order took effect on July 6, mandating that those who arrive from states with surges in COVID-19 cases quarantine for a 14-day period upon arrival.
"One of the easiest ways to sort of get enough proof that there was the potential of a violated quarantine order without me having to send out an inspector or do any sort of more aggressive follow up to collect that is to look at social media," said Dr. Allison Arwady, Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner, according to NBC Chicago.
"They're in any of the states that violated our order and then a few days later, they're in Chicago, and they're clearly out in Chicago, not just back, but at a restaurant or at the Bean or whatever it may be, and they're posting about that — that's an example of where we could use that as proof to issue citations," Arwady continued, stressing that the practice will be used on a case-by-case basis.
"I don't want to like overemphasize that we're somehow Big Brother in monitoring people's social accounts — we're absolutely not doing that," she said. "But where we already have a concern, it's one of the easiest ways to identify people who are not just breaking the travel order but flaunting it publicly."

Saudi Arabia turns off America's Oil Taps again
The strategy worked wonders in 2017. It will be more challenging this time around unless the pandemic eases its grip on oil demand.
For the second time in three years, Saudi Arabia is slashing the volume of crude it’s sending to America in an attempt to force down stockpiles in the world’s most visible oil market and thereby hasten the rebalancing of supply and demand.
Weekly U.S. oil inventory data — usually published on a Wednesday and covering the period up to the previous Friday — is routinely pored over by oil analysts and traders alike. Despite their shortcomings, the figures give the most up-to-date picture of changes in the oil balance and influence trading decisions and crude prices around the world.
Shifts in the flow of crude into and out of American ports can have a big impact on the level of U.S. inventories. Riyadh has clearly decided it’s time to do its bit to bring them down from heights reached in May and June, when the coronavirus pandemic and the kingdom’s own output hike combined to drive the fastest ever surge in U.S. commercial crude stockpiles. In the five weeks between March 20 and April 24, the inventories increased at a rate of 2.1 million barrels a day and by the first week of June it was hitting new highs.

Maryland Congressman says Bill to make D.C. a State is Unconstitutional
Rep. Andy Harris (R.-Md.) said in an interview with CNSNews.com that a bill that passed the U.S. House of Representatives this summer to make the District of Columbia a state is unconstitutional.
“I would hope that the nine members of the Supreme Court can read the plain language of the Constitution and realize it would be an unconstitutional attempt,” Harris said of the bill.
On June 26, the House voted 232 to 180 to approve the Washington, D.C. Admission Act. Only one Democrat voted against the bill.
If enacted, it would convert the District of Columbia into a state that would be called Washington, Douglas Commonwealth. This new state, like all other states, would have two United States senators.
One provision of the bill, as explained in its summary, “provides for expedited consideration of a joint resolution repealing the 23rd Amendment to the Constitution, which provides for the appointment of electors of the President and Vice President.”

Ilhan Omar must resign: New Evidence reveals a probable spree of Felonies
The "open secret" is now simply open. Yet the media cowardice continues.
According to the media's general judgment, 2020 U.S. voters are most concerned with purportedly complex issues of crime and justice. Voters should place no trust in this. This same media forbade itself to investigate a simple, yet objectively historic corruption scandal of national interest.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has almost certainly committed the most extensive spree of felonies by a congressperson in U.S. history. As a criminal, she also appears to be historically inept. Scores of verified items of evidence against her are in the public record. Omar has never challenged their authenticity and has never produced a single piece of evidence to support her version of events.

D.C. Officials Complain Over Lack Of Social Distancing Where Shooting Left One Dead, 20 Injured
Washington D.C.’s Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser fretted Monday over the community’s lack of social distancing at a weekend neighborhood block party, where a shooting broke out leaving a 17-year-old dead and 20 more people injured.
According to the Associated Press, Bowser reaffirmed to reporters at the crime scene in southeast D.C. that gatherings of more than 50 people were still prohibited in the district to slow to spread of the novel Wuhan coronavirus.
“It’s very important that as a community we have a zero-tolerance for this activity,” Bowser said, noting D.C. police need to make “difficult decisions,” and “break up these events.”
On Sunday, D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham echoed the same frustrations over the block party that took place Friday and Saturday.
