Seattle's Autonomous Anarchist Zone Learns a Hilarious Lesson About Theft
Have you heard that a six-block section of Seattle has become an anarchist “capitol hill autonomous zone,” or “CHAZ” for short?
It has. Police and firefighters vacated their premises and bugged out with a Twitter blessingfrom Mayor Jenny Durkan. Durkan dithered over the descent of protests into violence for a week before doing much, and when she did much, her choice was to tweet in hasty retreat.
Anarchists quickly set up CHAZ to be and do its own thing, as long as that thing conformed with diktats of the CHAZ hierarchy.
They put up makeshift signs saying, “You are now leaving the U.S.A.” As you can see below, they appropriated stolen barricades from America, which they despise. To paraphrase a former president, CHAZ did not build that. Or anything else.

MIC DROP: Kayleigh McEnany Asks Press Pool if ‘Segregationist’ Joe Biden Should be Cancelled – Then Walks Out of Briefing Room Like a Boss (VIDEO)
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany destroyed the liberal press pool pushing for renaming military bases named for Civil War generals who fought for the Confederacy.
The campaign to rename the military bases gained momentum this week as radical leftists toppled statues in their push for a Marxist revolution.
The left wants to erase our history.
Kayleigh MeEnany asked the liberal press pool if “segregationist” Joe Biden should be cancelled because of his past.

Kamala Harris, calling for $150-million LAPD defunding, also used LAPD as her private security detail
A Los Angeles city councilwoman was exposed as a hypocrite for introducing a bill to cut $150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department budget, while maintaining an LAPD private detail at her home for herself.
Security for me, but not for thee, see. The leftist political elites always gets their takings first.
Guess who else is just as hypocritical.
Sure enough, Kamala Harris, Democratic vice presidential frontrunner, who's loudly endorsed these $150-million police defundings, supporting the idea, along with her political ally, Mayor Eric Garcetti, who was last seen calling the LAPD "killers."
Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California on Tuesday said she applauds Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti for his move to cut about $150 million from a planned increase to the city's police budget but that the ongoing push for law enforcement reform "doesn't mean we get rid of police."

NYC lawmakers eyeing NYPD dissolution as one answer to ‘defund’ protests
Top city lawmakers are looking at chipping away at the New York Police Department’s contact with civilians by cleaving off its school safety and parking enforcement divisions, moves that would amount to the biggest overhaul of Big Apple law enforcement in decades.
The floated restructuring comes as civil rights activists and far-left politicians demand City Hall “defund” the police in the wake of a series of confluent crises — the national outcry over the death George Floyd, mounting criticism of the NYPD’s aggressive policing of Floyd-related protests and Gotham’s already massive $9 billion coronavirus budget hole.
“There’s no way in the world as a city body, as a Council, we can just walk away from this,” said Councilwoman Alicka Ampry-Samuels (D-Brooklyn), who chairs the public housing committee. “There’s no way we can go back to budget negotiations like we did in the past.”

Loretta Lynch tapped to assist state attorney general’s NYPD probe
The New York attorney general has enlisted former US Attorney General Loretta Lynch to help probe violent clashes between the NYPD and George Floyd protesters, the office announced Wednesday.
“The right to peacefully protest is one of our most basic civil rights, and we are working without rest to ensure that right is protected and guarded,” Attorney General Letitia James said in a statement. “As we continue our investigation, I will continue to use every tool at my disposal to seek answers and accountability, and that includes calling on the sharpest minds to lend their expertise.”
James — who announced last month that her office would look into police behavior during the recent protests over the Minneapolis police-brutality death of Floyd — said Lynch and New York University Professor Barry Friedman would be special advisers during the probe.
During her tenure at the Department of Justice, Lynch led investigations into several police departments over potential misconduct.
Notably, Lynch investigated the Chicago Police Department following the death of Laquan McDonald, finding the department regularly used “unjustified” and “excessive” force, which spurred reforms and community input.

Maryland Fishing Report
There has been some fun early morning and evening fishing for striped bass along the edges of the Susquehanna Flats.
Summer would not be complete without white perch and they are holding near most deep water docks and piers for anglers of all ages. They are plentiful, fun to catch, and when of decent size offer some fine fillets destined for a frying pan.
Northern snakeheads can now be found back in thick grass where they are spawning. A buzzbait or other topwater lure can catch their attention and entice a strike. Fishing for northern snakeheads will generally slow down for a while.

Figures. Democrats Wore the Kente Cloth to Honor George Floyd – The Same Fabric of the Ashanti Slave Traders
On Monday House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and other Democrat members of Congress knelt down for 8 minutes and 46 seconds to honor George Floyd.
The Democrats donned African Kente cloth scarves as they gathered in Emancipation Hall on Capitol Hill.
It should come as no surprise that the Kente Cloth was worn by Ashanti tribal leaders who practiced slavery.
Via The Ultimate History Project:
Kente cloth is deeply intertwined with the history of the Ashanti nation. The Ashanti Empire or Confederacy, which was located in what is today Ghana, first emerged in West Africa during the seventeenth century. The Ashanti are members of the Akan people who speak the Akan or Ashanti dialect. The word “Kente” which means basket comes from the Akan or Ashanti dialect. Akans also refer to Kente as nwentoma, which means woven cloth…
…While Kente cloth was a product of a global trade route which stretched from Asia through Europe to Africa, this cloth and the people also came to be associated with another global trade route—the slave trade. In fact, the history of the Ashanti people, who lived on the West Coast of Africa, is strongly tied to the history of the slave trade.
As was true of many pre-modern societies in Africa, Asia and Europe, the Ashanti practiced slavery. When Europeans, specifically the Portuguese, came into contact with the Ashanti during the sixteenth century, both Europeans and the Ashanti traded gold, ivory, and slaves.

J.K. Rowling Doubles Down, Exposes Misogyny of the Woke
The woke activists have all but told J.K. Rowling to shut up and go back to being barefoot in the kitchen.
The “Harry Potter” series author, long known for her liberal views, has beenunder attack for several days. Her crime? Tweeting that women is the right term, not “people who menstruate.” And then, to the horror of the Twitterati, Rowling didn’t apologize when there was an uproar. Instead she bravely tweeted a series of messages including, “It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”
Well, if there’s any message that doesn’t fly in the current woke environment, it’s that.
But in an extraordinary move, Rowling, instead of shutting up or apologizing, has written a long, personal essay explaining her views on sex, transgenderism, and feminism. In doing so, she dared to voice sentiments that billions around the world no doubt share—but many are afraid to even say these days, terrified of being hauled into human resources or facing other consequences.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: The Bitter Irony Of Revolutions
The ancient Greeks created new words like “paradox” and “irony” to describe the wide gap between what people profess and assume, and what they actually do and suffer.
Remember the blind prophet Teiresias of ancient drama. In the carnage of Athenian tragedy he alone usually ends up foreseeing danger better than did those with keen eyesight.
After a catastrophic plague and endless war, ancient democratic Athens was stripped of its majestic pretensions. Soon it was conducting mass executions — on majority votes of the people.
Throughout history, revolutions often do not end up as their initial architects planned. The idealists who ended the French monarchy in 1789 thought they could replace it with a constitutional republic.
Instead, they sparked a reign of terror, the guillotine and mass frenzy. Yet the radicals who hijacked the original revolution and began beheading their enemies soon were themselves guillotined.
It was not democracy but rather the dictator Napoleon who put an end to French domestic unrest.

Everyone needs to see the GUIDELINES ALL bars/restaurants must comply to when reopening in Worcester County.
Worcester County Health Department
Reopening Guidance for Facilities with Indoor Seating During COVID-19
This guidance is intended for food service facilities that provide indoor seating during COVID-19.
Tables must be placed so that there is a minimum of six (6) feet of separation between chairs while customers are
dining. Any tables that do not meet this requirement must either be removed or excluded. Booths, if not removable,
must meet the six (6) feet of separation by excluding every other booth. Physical barriers (i.e.: plexiglass dividers)
do not meet the requirement for separation.
No groups larger than six (6) persons are to be seated together, except members of the same household.
All tables and booths must be smooth, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent.
All contact surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected with an EPA approved disinfectant for use against COVID-19
prior to opening each day. This includes but is not limited to: tables, chairs, booths, reusable menus, etc.
The facility must post signage informing patrons not to enter if sick, hand washing reminders and cover your cough
reminders. Resources can be found at: https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/lhd-resources.
The number of patrons in the food service establishment shall not exceed 50% of the food service establishment’s
maximum occupancy.
Management must conduct staff screening every day in order to exclude any potentially ill employees. Questionnaires
should be used as a screening tool. Management should follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
guidelines regarding sick employees.
Facilities should provide staff with information pertaining to COVID-19 signs and symptoms.
Staff and patrons must wear facial coverings pursuant to Executive Order # 20-04-15-01. Patrons may only remove
facial coverings while seated at their table.
Customers that are waiting to be seated must abide by social distancing guidelines of six (6) feet of separation and must
not exceed the Executive Order on gatherings of more than ten (10) people. Any area where there is a potential for a
line to form must have a visual six (6) feet marking system to demonstrate the recommended social distancing. It is
recommended where applicable that customers wait in their vehicles until their table is ready. Handheld pagers are not
recommended. Consider utilizing phones, phone apps, or texting to notify patrons when their table is ready.
The entrance and exit to the dining area must be clearly marked. All pedestrian traffic should be one way only where
possible.
Paper menus that can be discarded after each use are recommended. Any reusable menus must be cleaned and
disinfected between patrons. Consider using contactless ordering and payment.
The food service establishment shall not serve customers who are not seated.
Buffet service is not allowed at this time.
Consider eliminating any self service station such as beverage dispensing. If applicable, have staff dispense patron
beverages.
Tables, chairs, and booths must be cleaned and disinfected between patron usage.
Bathrooms must be cleaned and disinfected per disinfectant manufacturer requirements regarding product application
or when usage necessitates cleaning. Any line that forms for the bathroom must meet the aforementioned visual
marking system requirement.
Hand sanitizer must be made readily available to staff and patrons. Hand sanitizer does not negate the need for hand
washing.
It is recommended that all condiments are either pre-packaged in the kitchen or provided as single use items.
Single use items must either be pre-packaged or pre-wrapped and given out per customer request. Any single service
item left on the table, whether used or unused, must be discarded after customer dining.
Staff must wash their hands upon changing tasks or exposure to potentially contaminated items.
Staff are reminded to not have bare hand contact with ready to eat foods.
Patrons seated at the bar must comply with the appropriate social distancing guideline of at least six (6) feet. Standing
is not permitted in the bar area.
At the close of the business, the facility must be cleaned and disinfected.
Please refer to the National Restaurant Association COVID-19 Reopening Guide, the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA), and the CDC for more information.
These guidelines are for use during the COVID-19 pandemic

Sawant has been calling on Mayor Jenny Durkan to resign over “violence and brutality” by police in the city’s response to the “overwhelmingly peaceful” riots they have seen in response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Protesters poured into the building chanting for the mayor’s removal and were met with a speaker from the Socialist Alternative party.
Sawant herself also spoke to the mob, calling her colleagues “sellouts” and “corporate politicians.”

There’s a Solution to Police Abuse. It’s Not Defunding Police Departments.
The majority of America’s police officers are brave men and women who make sacrifices and take risks every day to keep our communities safe, but incidents of misconduct do occur. Defunding America’s police departments would not solve the issue of police abuse, but limiting the power of police unions would allow for needed reforms.
Rachel Greszler, a research fellow at The Heritage Foundation, joins “Problematic Women” to discuss her new piece “Confronting Police Abuse Requires Shifting Power From Police Unions.”
Police unions have made it extremely challenging for police chiefs to fire or adequately reprimand officers for poor behavior or abuse of power. Control of police departments must be taken away from unions, Greszler argues, and placed back in the hands of the police chiefs who know their communities and officers best.
Also on today’s show, we share Rachel del Guidice’s conversation with Star Parker, founder of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education. Parker explains why America is not inherently racist.

‘You won’t need to abolish us – we won’t be around for it’: Why I and many of my colleagues are quitting as US police officers

After more than 27 years in the force, I’ve had enough. These protests and riots are the final straw. The nasty words we get called all the time have now turned into rocks, bottles and gunfire. It’s over, America: we are leaving.
This is the hardest thing I have written.
I grew up in a law enforcement family. My father worked his way up to the rank of Captain at the Fort Smith, Arkansas, Police Department. As a kid I remember going with him on Friday to pick up his check and I was in awe of these super heroes he worked around.
My dad sacrificed a lot and so did my late mother. Whether it was the week-long surveillance or wiretap or chasing drug runners across the country, he gave it all for my family and worked plenty of extra details to never let our family be without. Some would call that privilege but where I grew up, it was called hard work.

Why Don’t These #BlackLivesMatter?
Black Lives Matter is a political advocacy group, “[f]ounded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer,” according to the group’s website. Never mind that the George Zimmerman trial was a complete fraud, as Joel Gilbert brilliantly explained in his recent book and movie, “The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America.”
BLM is a self-described global network, which explains why protests and riots sprang up seemingly spontaneously all over the world after George Floyd’s death. Starting in Minneapolis, protests quickly spread to far off locales including New Zealand, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
On their website, BLM states that they, “practice empathy.” Yet in 2017 this happened.
A white teenager cowers in a corner, his hands bound with orange cords and his mouth covered with tape. Four African Americans kick and hit him and slash at his scalp. As a cellphone camera captures their blurry images and broadcasts the ordeal on Facebook, the attackers hurl racial insults and denounce President-elect Donald J. Trump.
As reported by the New York Times: “A hashtag linking the assault to the Black Lives Matter movement exploded on social media.” Were the four attackers card-carrying members of BLM? Does it matter? After all, every police officer is a white supremacist and racist based on the actions of four cops in Minneapolis. Generalizing can work both ways.

Exclusive – Rand Paul Lauds Trump Proposal to Expand Americans’ Healthcare Options
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told Breitbart News in an exclusive comment on Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s recent healthcare proposal would break down Americans’ healthcare barriers and expand healthcare options.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed a rule on Monday that would allow employers to craft health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) to subsidize their employees’ direct primary care (DPC) and health care sharing ministries (HCSMs).
Paul, an ophthalmologist and a leader in healthcare reform, celebrated Trump’s proposal as a way to allow Americans to craft their plans to better suit their healthcare needs.
“Having fought for years to break down barriers to these kinds of care arrangements, I applaud the Trump Administration for including them in the tax code as eligible medical expenses under employer-provided health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs),” Paul told Breitbart News. “It’s long past time for the American government to trust the American people to design the terms of their own care. That means expanding HRAs, as well as other patient-centered arrangements like association health plans (AHPs) and health savings accounts (HSAs). I look forward to working with the Administration to build on this important step.”
Paul praised HCSMs and DPCs as a worthy healthcare alternative for over a million Americans.
“Health care sharing ministries and direct primary care arrangements allow over a million Americans to meet their medical needs in the ways that work best for them,” Paul said.

In fact, they were heroes. Today we hate them and want them defunded because they can’t be trusted. Nurses and Doctors are still cool for now. Unless of course they truly believe all lives matter. Then they’re filled with hate and are part of problem like so many others. Just 45 days ago protests weren’t “essential” and were considered criminal and a murderous activity. Today they’re gloriously critical and celebrated. All of the obvious criminal and murderous activities are simply ignored. If you protest about lockdowns for freedom you’re selfish and you’ll spread a virus. If you protest, loot, and riot for social justice you’re a warrior and the virus cedes. Trust the experts. No, not those experts. Don’t wear masks, wear masks, don’t wear masks. Not sure, but if you don’t you hate people. For 3 months NOTHING was more important than Social Distance, in fact, we gave up all of our liberties for it. We canceled schools, medical procedures, activities, closed businesses, and wrecked the economy for it. Then came Social Justice and Social Distance was no more. Now things are more cut and dry though. Black Lives Matter. OK, let’s do it. Then multiple black police officers and individuals were killed during the “peaceful protests” and I don’t see any outrage. Black individually owned businesses burned to the ground. Silence. Deadliest weekend in Chicago. NOTHING!! I’m really confused now. Look at the data, NO, not that data. Do the math. No, you can’t do the math like that. Just listen to the black community leaders. No not them. If you’re silent you’re part of the problem, if you speak you’re part of the problem. If you have to ask you don’t understand. If you don’t ask, you don’t care. It’s all so predictable, tedious, and exhausting. Nothing adds up. It’s one gigantic common core life problem with ever changing denominators that I’m sure the media and politicians are eagerly ready to solve for us....Can’t Wait!!
Clyburn: ‘Only Violence’ I Saw in D.C. Were Police on Horseback Clearing Protesters
Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” while discussing the nationwide response to George Floyd’s death, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) said the only violence he saw in Washington D.C. were police on horseback moving back peaceful protesters last Monday.
Allegedly, that was done so that President Donald Trump could go to St. John’s Church, which was burned during so-called protests a day earlier.
Cavuto said, “Congressman, that’s a searing 1968 image, the argument then is that it is so jostled Americans that they went to the law and order candidate, Richard Nixon. Is this so jostling Americans that they might do the same with the law and order candidate, Donald Trump? What do you think of that?”

OBAMA KNEW – Friday’s Document Release Shows Assessment of Hillary’s Emails Performed by ODNI, NSC and State Department In October 2009
Another slew of documents were released last Friday by the FBI related to Hillary Clinton’s email abuse while she was Obama’s Secretary of State. These documents contain more outrageous information that should have been released years ago and of course corrupt cop Peter Strzok is involved.
The FBI released more documents related to Hillary Clinton’s emails last Friday. These documents were long over due. In one document, a letter is written by corrupt cop and former FBI Agent Peter Strzok, asking for an assessment of Hillary’s emails that was performed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the National Security Counsel (NSC) and the Department of State (DoS) in October of 2009:

Thousands Of Unapproved, Counterfeit COVID-19 Tests And Medications Seized At Port Of Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — 14,000 COVID-19 treatment capsules and dozens of COVID testing kits were seized by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Baltimore. Both the treatment capsules and testing kits were all imported from China and are all completely fake.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, so too do the scams.
It’s why HSI launched a nationwide operation, Operation Stolen Promise, to seize COVID contraband.
The Baltimore-based team of agents found the COVID-19 treatment capsules at the Port of Baltimore, hidden in boxes under packets of Chinese tea.
“It was no secret to law enforcement that there were going to be people trying to take advantage of the pandemic,” said John Eisert, HSI Baltimore Special Agent in Charge.
More than anything, said Eisert, his team is concerned about what’s inside the capsules, that promise to relieve COVID patients of their symptoms.

Should Journalists Go to Jail for Spreading Russia Lies?
As a First Amendment maximalist, I am inclined to reply an automatic “no” to my own headline — should journalists go to jail for spreading Russia lies? But a penalty of some kind, indeed a serious one, should certainly be levied for misinforming the public on the most important subject of our day, which has happened repeatedly over the last few years concerning the Russia probe. And when these prevarications can be shown to have been deliberate, to have been done knowingly, difficult as that may be to prove, the line to sedition may have been crossed and there is an argument the reporters involved should face legal consequences. They should also be fired.
Unfortunately, because reporting is an occupation with no official standards like law or medicine, no professional organizations to disbar them, and because, as A. J. Liebling wrote long ago, “Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one,” with media operations like CNN and NBC often encouraging those very lies, this is unlikely to happen.
Nevertheless. as Kimberly Strassel indicated in “For Fear of William Barr: The attorney general gets attacked because his probe endangers many powerful people,” heads of those who instigated the Russia probe are likely soon to roll. Shouldn’t members of the press who gave them voice be more than unindicted co-conspirators?
Who was indeed culpable when David Corn of Mother Jones and Michael Isikoff of Yahoo.com,not to mention the jejune character from BuzzFeed, were given access to and then promulgated the Steele dossier — a document that, from what we now know, might as well have had “DISINFORMATION” stamped in red on the front page with “Made in the Kremlin” printed not-so-discretely at the bottom. They are intelligent men. Didn’t they realize this?
Of course, they did. Or at least they suspected it. But the ends (the defeat of the orange man) justified the means (helping release this disinfo to the public and spread the lies). Did they do this deliberately? Are they guilty of sedition? Decide for yourselves. (Isikoff later recanted and called the dossier dubious, undoubtedly to avoid having his reputation further besmirched. After the Mueller report was published, he had no choice.)

San Jose police fire rubber bullets at own racial bias trainer during protest, maiming his testicle
A black community activist who trained San Jose police recruits on implicit bias for three years was shot in a testicle by a rubber bullet during a recent protest, prompting the city's mayor to say that more needs to be done to confront police brutality — but that defunding police will only undermine those efforts.
Derrick Sanderlin, a 27-year-old community organizer, suffered potentially permanent injuries by a rubber bullet at a May 29 protest demonstration, the mayor’s office said in a press release Monday.
Sanderlin, who knows San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia personally, said he was disheartened to see how officers were treating protesters. Video captured by KABC-TV’s news helicopter overhead purportedly showed the moments an officer fired a riot gun at Sanderlin, who had approached with his hands up.
"I really just couldn't watch it anymore," Sanderlin said. "And just kind of made like a parallel walkover, put my hands up, and just stood in the line of the fire and asked them to please not do this."
"I pause for a moment like maybe this isn't, maybe this doesn't hurt and falling afterwards is like the most painful experience," he said.

Shocking moment black store owner who called 911 to report that he was holding a shoplifter at gunpoint is punched and has his jaw broken by cop 'who mistook him for the suspect'
Shocking video captured the moment an armed black business owner who called 911 to report a robbery in his store in Alabama was punched in the face by a responding police officer who mistook him for a suspect.
Surveillance footage from the March 15 altercation at Star Spirits & Beverages in Decatur began circulating on social media over the weekend amid protests over police brutality and racism following the death of George Floyd.
The store's owner, 47-year-old Kevin Penn, had told 911 dispatchers that he was holding a shoplifter at gunpoint.
At a press conference on Monday, Decatur Police Chief Nate Allen acknowledged that the responding officer, who has not been named, punched Penn because he thought he was the shoplifter.

State troopers in Minneapolis seen on video KNIFING tires of parked cars - some belonging to the press - but claim cars were 'strategically deflated', containing items like rocks and concrete
Law enforcement agencies in Minneapolis 'strategically deflated tires' in vehicles that were parked and unoccupied in various locations throughout the city following the death of George Floyd.
Footage shows militarized police units slashing tires at a Kmart located at Lake Street and Nicollet Avenue on May 30, five days after the tragic death of Floyd after former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
Additional clips show officers also slashing tires on a highway overpass on May 31.

Democrat Cities: Fourth-World Scourges
When the terrorists become bored and cease terrorizing, when the flames are extinguished, when those who died in the riots are buried and cremated, when the shards of glass from storefronts are disposed of, and when livelihoods are permanently lost, Democrats will still run the vast majority of the deadliest and most dangerous cities in the U.S.
Death and destruction always follow Democrat policies and culture. Stagnant local economies. Unsafe streets for children. Guncrime. Failing schools. Breathtaking corruption. Problems with the police. Property crime. Poverty. Poor public health. Single- or no-parenthomes. All are found in abundance in Democrat-run cities, and foundoverwhelmingly in majority-black neighborhoods.
So who are the true "racists"? By every objective measure and metric, Democrat-run cities are the unequivocal worst places in America to live.
Here's a rundown of how long Democrats have monopolized many of our culturally historic cities. Numbers cited are consecutive days and are slightly rounded up or down.
San Francisco: only Democrat mayors and super-majority Democrat; Boards of Supervisors, 14,000; all 11 current supervisors are Democrats;

Pugh faces up to 10 years in prison on the perjury charge
Baltimore’s disgraced former mayor who already has been sentenced to three years in federal prison in a scandal over her “Healthy Holly” children’s books touting exercise and nutrition is expected to plead guilty to a state perjury charge, Maryland’s state prosecutor confirmed Tuesday.
Catherine Pugh is expected to enter the guilty plea to the misdemeanor charge at a June 19 hearing in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court, said State Prosecutor Charlton Howard.
“As indicated in the order of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court scheduling a plea hearing on June 19th, I anticipate Ms. Pugh will enter a guilty plea on that date,” Howard wrote in an email. “Of course, Ms. Pugh may change her mind prior to, or during the course of, the June 19th hearing, as is the right of every criminal defendant.”
