DAUGHTER OF THE YEAR: Rashida Tlaib’s Father Said She Lied About Her Address — Listed her Father’s Home in Detroit as Home Address

Vocal “Squad’ member Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the unhinged Israel-hating Detroit Democrat, is in big trouble back home in her Michigan district.

Tlaib made headlines in Washington DC with her cursing the US president and screaming at the US border.

She is definitely unhinged.

Rashida Tlaib won her primary in Michian with a very, very slim majority, in the 30 percentile only, 31.2 to 30.2. She was able to defeat five black Democrat opponents.

With only two candidates in next year’s primary next year the black candidate will likely win.

According to the National Journal Tlaib won without the black support in her district and they are not happy with her rants against the president and Israel, while she does nothing other in her job.

Former Pennsylvania attorney general Kathleen Kane is released from prison

Former Pennsylvania attorney general Kathleen Kane walked free from prison on Wednesday after serving eight months behind bars for leaking grand jury material in order to smear a political rival and then lying about it.

Kane was jailed at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Philadelphia where she was due to serve a sentence of 10 to 23 months. But she was released two months earlier than the minimum amount of time that a judge ordered her to serve due to 'good behavior'.

When she emerged from the prison about 8.20am on Wednesday, she told reporters she was 'grateful' to be free. She was accompanied by two policewoman as she was greeted by a large media presence assembled outside.

The 53-year-old, who was carrying two brown paper bags filled with her belongings, was greeted by family members in a black Mercedes SUV.

Bomb Squad Seizes Second Inert Launch Tube At BWI Airport

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, August 1, 2019 - The Office of the State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad, in conjunction with the Transportation Security Administration and the Maryland Transportation Authority, reported to the Baltimore Washington International Airport around 5:20 a.m. this morning for a recovered launch tube located at the American Airlines baggage area.
The inert rocket launch tube, empty of any explosive hazard and inspected by the U.S. military for safety, was brought back on a military flight by a United States Air Force Sergeant as a souvenir of their service abroad.
While the launch tube presents no immediate threat to anyone on the ground, there is a slight chance that it could contain pressurized gas, and was therefore not allowed on the Sergeant's connecting commercial flight. The Office of the State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad took possession of the launch tube until it can be safely returned to the owner.
This is the second recovered launch tube military souvenir that the Bomb Squad has seized in the past two days from BWI Airport. While it is not uncommon for military personnel to return home with momentos from their tours of duty, it is important that they are made aware of the differing regulations for their connecting commercial flights versus their military flights.

The Invisible Man

If you listen to Democrats discuss their solutions to political challenges these days, it's easy to forget the fact that Barack Obama served as President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. His name is rarely mentioned, and his accomplishments rarely acknowledged much less celebrated.

Such was the case at Tuesday night's debate in Detroit, when Mayor Pete Buttigieg talked about summoning "the courage to walk away from the past." When Elizabeth Warren said our "problems didn’t start with Donald Trump," and proceeded to trash the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement negotiated by the Obama administration. It's easy to forget that Democrats passed, and Obama signed into a law, something called the Affordable Care Act when every candidate on stage was lamenting the woeful state of healthcare affordability in this country.

Obama's name was only mentioned a handful of times throughout the debate, including once by way of John Delaney citing former Obama homeland security chief Jeh Johnson's recent comments that the party's de facto embrace of open borders was "unwise" and "unworkable." The sentiment was echoed after Tuesday's debate by former Obama adviser David Axelrod, who thoroughly trashed the emerging Democratic consensus on health care and immigration.

Diakonia’s new leader hopes to help people

Belinda “Bee” Miller, the new executive director of Diakonia Inc., found herself back in familiar territory.

Miller, 52, first had the leadership job from 1995-2003. After some time out of state, she returned to Worcester County in mid-June to work for the nonprofit.

Miller was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in a farmhouse in Calvert County, Maryland. She then attended Salisbury University, and graduated in 1989 with a degree in social work.

However, the inspiration to enter the field came from her mother, Naomi Catety, who is deaf.

“She always helped people whether they could talk to her or not,” Miller said. “So I wanted to do that too. I wanted to be able to help people.”

The Treasury Department Is In Desperate Need Of A Sucker

Ten years ago, at the peak of the global financial crisis, the Board of Trustees which oversees Social Security in the United States issued a stark warning:

They projected that Social Security’s enormous trust funds would completely run out of money in 2039.

Naturally nobody paid attention. Back in 2009 the economy in shambles, so focusing on a future economic crisis that was more than three decades away was a low priority.

And for the past decade, the US government has continued to ignore its Social Security problem.

But it’s become much worse.

Ten years later, the Board of Trustees now projects that Social Security’s primary trust fund will run out money in 2034.

That’s five years earlier than they projected back in 2009. And it’s only 15 years away.

Fitton: Judicial Watch Demands House Ethics Investigation of Rep. Ilhan Omar

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, is in the news often because of her racially inflammatory anti-Semitic views, including her support for a terrorist front group. But far-left views are not our concern at this moment – her alleged criminal behavior is.

Earlier this week, Judicial Watch hand-delivered an ethics complaint to David Skaggs, chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics, calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Omar may have married her biological brother.

“The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules. The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” Judicial Watch said. “We encourage Americans to share their views on Rep. Omar’s apparent misconduct with their congressmen.”

Here is our full complaint:

Nolte: Fox News Holds Steady as Viewers Flee CNN and MSNBC by Double Digits in July

Another month, another disastrous ratings performance for far-left, fake news outlet CNN.

Throughout the month of July, CNNLOL was not even able to attract an average of 800,000 primetime viewers.

Thanks to a double-digit drop in viewers, an 11 percent collapse when compared to this same month last year, CNNLOL’s average total primetime viewership in July was a pathetic (and hilarious) 797,000.

MSNBC also saw a double-digit (ten percent) erosion in primetime viewers but was still able to nearly double CNNLOL with 1.5 million primetime viewers.

Baltimore Is Worse than Trump Thinks

Joe Biden's, Bernard Sanders's, Elizabeth Warren's, and Kamala Harris's Democratic Party is the main culprit of Baltimore's ills.

Thanks to President Trump's remark this past weekend about West Baltimore and its U.S. representative, Elijah Cummings, social media nation was embroiled in God only knows how many mindless online conversations. Trump said: "If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place."

Though rare, sometimes a Twitter discussion can be somewhat worthwhile, even if for just one of the parties conversing. On Saturday night, David Simon, creator of the now defunct critically acclaimed television show The Wire, tweeted the following:

Baltimore's 30,000 Public Employees Cost Taxpayers $2 Billion But Can't Save Their Own City

President Donald Trump’s recent tweet about Baltimore ignited a firestorm of controversy. Baltimore has since become the focal point of a very public fight between Trump and local congressman Elijah Cummings (MD-7).

People on both sides have strong views about Trump’s motives. However, on one level, Trump served to highlight the videos of a local political activist Kimberly Klacik. These videos revealed Baltimore’s systemic problems of rats, abandoned buildings, and trash. Klacik reported that many of the city’s residents feel that they have been forgotten.

Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com investigated just how much taxpayer money flows into the Baltimore bureaucracy at every level: federal, state, and local. We found the city drowning in taxpayer dollars.

U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore home burglarized hours before Trump’s first tweets

U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings’ home in West Baltimore’s Druid Heights neighborhood was burglarized, police said Thursday.

The Baltimore Police Department received a report of a burglary that took place at 3:40 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 2000 block of Madison Ave. Police on Thursday said it was unknown whether any property was taken.

The burglary took place just hours before President Donald Trump, a Republican, began a dayslong Twitter attack on the Democratic congressman and the city of Baltimore that continues to dominate headlines and cause ripples in political circles.

State property records list the rowhouse as owned by the congressman and his wife, Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, chairwoman of the Maryland Democratic Party. She did not immediately return messages Thursday afternoon.

Medicaid Work Requirements Struck Down in a 3rd State

A federal judge struck down New Hampshire's Medicaid work requirements on Monday. U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg -- who also vacated Arkansas and Kentucky's work requirements -- ruled that the policy is "arbitrary and capricious."

"We have all seen this movie before," he wrote in regards to the anticipated health insurance losses.

Before Boasberg's latest decision, New Hampshire officials already put the work requirements on hold after estimating that 17,000 people would have lost their Medicaid coverage in August. It's the third state to halt such requirements, which were not allowed under the Obama administration.

The idea of work requirements for Medicaid arose after the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), President Barack Obama's signature health-care legislation. The law allows and encourages states to expand the number of low-income people eligible for Medicaid. The federal government initially pays 100 percent -- and eventually 90 percent -- of the costs of expanding eligibility to people earning 138 percent of the federal poverty line.

“Bike Supremecy” is Ruining Everything

I have been writing about the organized cycling movement for years. When I started, few were aware of the organized cycling lobby and their ever increasing influence on policy. With their success has come the realization by the public of what they wanted actually means. It has led to a bikelash throughout the country and on the local level. At the head of the bikelash have been the fearless writers at the New York Post who years ago coined the term “Privileged Class” to described cyclists.

They have been hitting a lot of nails on their heads the last couple of weeks.

If you listened to last week’s Red Maryland Radio, I shared this piece from the New York Post discussing the inanity of cycling as transportation policy and the futility of the notion that cycling on roads with cars and trucks can be made safe. Here are some great quotes from the article:

Tlaib Donor Has Been Deceased for 10 Years

Democratic freshman representative Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) received a generous donation during the second quarter in the name of a man who died more than 10 years ago, a review of campaign and online records shows.

Tlaib's campaign committee, Rashida Tlaib for Congress, hauled in donations of at least $2,000 from dozens of individuals between April 1 and June 30. One of those contributions was from George S. Farah Sr., a Michigan businessman, real estate developer, and community leader who made his way from Palestine to the United States in the mid-1950s. Farah passed away on Feb. 1, 2009, from heart failure, according to a Michigan Live article published at the time of his death.

On June 22, Tlaib's campaign received a $2,500 donation in his name, Federal Election Commission filings show. A search of public records, which also state that he is deceased, provides an address identical to the one written on the contribution to Tlaib's campaign committee. Grand Blanc Township property records also show that the residence located at that address is registered in Farah's name along with that of his widow.

While the surgery to remove the teeth took place last month, doctors needed time to individually examine each tooth before they could confirm their findings.

The left complains about high drug prices. President Trump is actually fixing it.

For years, the United States has paid exorbitantly higher prices for prescription drugs than other countries. Both Republicans and Democrats have talked about the skyrocketing cost of medicine for American patients, especially senior citizens.

But our leaders in Washington never did anything about it. Until now.

The Trump Administration’s new plan, announced this morning, will allow companies to import drugs sold in other countries—including Canada—to save Americans money. Manufacturers can now bring the lower-cost versions of drugs they sell abroad to the United States, so long as the FDA verifies the medicines are identical and meet safety standards.

Foreign countries buy drugs at substantially lower prices, meaning American patients subsidize the cost of the expensive drug research and development for the rest of the world. Many times, medicines that cost hundreds of dollars in the U.S. cost as little as a few dollars overseas. Time and time again, our own citizens get the worst deal.

This terrible system doesn’t only hurt patients. It costs our taxpayers billions. For example, one medication that helps prevent blindness costs Medicare more than $1 billion a year. It would cost only $187 million if we paid the prices that other countries pay.

Big Pharma doesn’t want that to change, but “President Trump listened to the American people,” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar says. “We heard about the pain Americans are feeling at the pharmacy counter, we learned that this was impacting Americans’ health, and we’re taking action.”

Today’s announcement builds on President Trump’s other efforts to make medicine affordable for all Americans. Following the release of the President’s blueprint to lower prescription drug costs last year, December 2018 marked the first time in 46 years that the official government measure of inflation in drug prices dropped.

More help is on the way—“to end foreign freeloading and put American patients first,” Secretary Azar says.

The details: Safely importing prescription drugs to lower costs for Americans

Ted Cruz: 'Deep state' is undercutting Trump on Iran

Sen. Ted Cruz is accusing "deep state" Obama loyalists of attempting to hamstring President Trump’s foreign policy agenda as it relates to Iran.

The Texas Republican released a statement Wednesday responding to reports that the Trump administration is considering extending waivers to Tehran allowing the regime to continue work on its nuclear capabilities.

"I hope these reports turn out to be wrong. The president has correctly ordered his administration to halt implementation of the catastrophic Obama-Iran nuclear deal," Cruz said.

Charles Barkley Says Voting Democrat Has Not Elevated Black People

Broadcaster and former NBA star Charles Barkley slammed the Democrat Party in the wake of Tuesday’s debates, saying that the party has done little to elevate most blacks in America.

The former Phoenix Suns star was in the audience during the July 30 Democrat presidential debates, but the former player was not impressed by what he saw telling reporters that “every black person I know has always voted Democratic,” but most are “still poor” despite that support.

Barkley went on to slam the Democrats for ignoring minorities, saying, “It’s an economic thing, and that’s what both parties have been neglecting, especially the Democratic Party,” according to Yahoo News.

“Every black person I know has always voted Democratic, and with the exception of a few guys who can play sports, all those people are still poor,” Barkley continued.

The TNT commentator added that he said the same thing in 2017 and no progress has occurred.

"The pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Ash-Shaff Media Foundation shared five posters on Telegram which threaten and encourage terror attacks in the West," according to posts gathered by MEMRI. "The posters are captioned in poor English and feature background images of San Francisco, New York City, and London. China Covertly Subverting Trump Re-election

China is conducting an aggressive disinformation and influence campaign designed to block the re-election of President Trump in 2020, according to a dissident Chinese billionaire who until recently was close to senior Beijing leaders.

Guo Wengui, an exiled Chinese real estate tycoon-turned-anti-communist critic, said in an interview that details of the influence operation were disclosed recently by Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan in Beijing.

The campaign has been underway since the 2018 mid-term election and involves enlisting pro-China elements inside the United States to end the Trump administration after four years.

"China has been protesting western powers trying to interfere in the domestic politics of China but in fact China is not only trying interfere in the domestic politics of the United States, they are interfering publicly with U.S. elections," Guo told the Washington Free Beacon.

According to Guo, who has known current Chinese President Xi Jinping for more than 10 years, the anti-Trump influence operation is being directed by Xi and Wang through the Communist Party of China (CCP) National Security Commission, a high-level body created in 2013 that since then has tightened control over all other security organs.

"For the 2020 U.S. presidential election, the security committee has given very clear instructions that it is not permissible for Trump to win the 2020 election," Guo said speaking through an interpreter.

Trump appoints Sean Spicer to Naval Academy, Kendel Ehrlich to White House

President Donald Trump Wednesday appointed former White House spokesman Sean Spicer to serve on the Naval Academy Board of Visitors, and former Maryland first lady Kendel Ehrlich to be the White House’s head of drug control policy, the White House said in a statement.

Spicer said he grew up visiting Annapolis for the National Sailboat Show and is a regular visitor to the academy, often taking his children to football games at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

“I sailed there when I was a kid for high school nationals but that’s as close as I ever got to getting in,” he said.

“I’m no stranger to the academy ... there’s obviously a huge affinity for the school around nation and what it means to officers in the Navy.”

Democrats just purged white party staffers, and it's a bigger deal than anyone wants to admit

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the House Democrats’ powerful campaign arm, has just abruptly purged half a dozen staffers. Why? Because they are white.

It appears that no one had anything against these particular staffers ... except for the color of their skin. Although roughly half the committee’s full-time staff (13 of 27) were nonwhite, this was not enough for some Democratic members of Congress. They complained DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos of Illinois had brought in too many white staffers when she won the position. And they put enough pressure on her that she sacrificed her loyal staffers to the god of diversity.

Even if all these staffers ended up with cushy lobbying jobs as a reward for their loyalty, this is still a lot more shocking than people perhaps realize.

HUD Secretary Ben Carson Compares Baltimore To A Cancer Patient

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson made a visit to Baltimore on Wednesday and renewed his defense of President Trump's disparaging comments about the city, and reiterated his own critique of the city where he lived for more than three decades.

"There are good things in Baltimore. There are bad things in Baltimore," Carson told reporters near a recently renovated affordable housing development. "But there are problems and we can't sweep them under the rug."

Carson, who built a career as a widely-respected pediatric neurosurgeon at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, went on to liken the city's social and economic woes to someone afflicted with cancer.

Cummings Rejects Tour of HUD Facility in Baltimore

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) turned down an offer to tour a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) facility in Baltimore with HUD Secretary Ben Carson on Wednesday.

The agency extended an invitation on Tuesday but Cummings turned down the request.

When reporters asked Carson about why Cummings was not present at a press conference, he responded Cummings may have been absent due to a scheduling conflict but did not elaborate on why he skipped the tour.

Dr. Carson visited the Baltimore facility soon after a series of weekend tweets from President Donald Trump criticized Cummings for being a “brutal bully,” alleging his district was in disrepair because of his lack of oversight.

Alexander: Elijah Cummings IS a Racist

A racist is generally defined as “a person who demonstrates discrimination or prejudice against people of another race, or believes that their own race is superior to others.” That definition aptly describes Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings, based on his demonstrable black supremacist views.

But the definition of racist also includes one who suppresses people based on their race, and that defines the policies Cummings and his Democrat Party have forced on black Americans for generations.

That’s especially true in Cummings’s predominantly black congressional district, which covers more than half of Baltimore city. He has represented that district since 1996 — and before that his city district in the Maryland state house for 13 years — with nothing but misery to show for it. In other words, he’s a career politician who depends on keeping black people dependent, and it’s a family affair: His wife is chairwoman of the Maryland Democrat Party. Recall back in 1999 when Cummings declared in a congressional hearing, “I left my community of Baltimore, a drug-infested area… The same children that I watched 14 or 15 years ago as they grew up now walking around like zombies.” It has gotten much worse under his “leadership” and that of Baltimore’s Democrat machine over the last two decades.

The political platform of Cummings’s socialist Democrat Party is crafted by “poverty pimps” — and founded on the failed so-called “Great Society” programs, which have kept poor people, particularly black people, perpetually enslaved on urban poverty plantations for generations.

Elijah Cummings Called Baltimore ‘Drug Infested Area’ in 1999

Embattled Rep. Elijah Cummings (D., Md.) described his community of Baltimore as a "drug infested area" in a video from a 1999 congressional hearing.

"This morning, I left my community of Baltimore, a drug infested area, where a lot of the drugs we're talking about today have already taken the lives of so many children," Cummings said. "The same children that I watched 14 or 15 years ago as they grew up now walking around like zombies. This is only 40 miles away from here."

President Trump criticized both the city of Baltimore and Cummings in multiple tweets over the past week. He calledRep. Cummings a "brutal bully" and claimed the representative was "screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous."

Sen. Ben Cardin’s bill takes aim at racial profiling

U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., called on Congress to move ahead Wednesday on his bill to prevent racial and religious profiling, in a week when his native Baltimore has been repeatedly attacked by President Donald Trump for its high crime rate.

“We want to get it passed now. It should have been passed a long time ago,” Cardin said.

The End Racial and Religious Profiling Act is co-sponsored in the House by Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., who has been singled out for criticism by the president in tweets and comments aimed at him and Maryland’s 7th District, which includes Baltimore.

Hillary Shelton, director of the NAACP Washington bureau, said the president’s decision to blast Baltimore and Cummings doesn’t help with efforts to tamp down racial tensions and deal with issues related to racial profiling.
