Snow Shoveling Tips

Having suffered the after-effects of maybe not so good snow shoveling technique (muscle relaxants and pain relievers), and having a close relative who actually dropped dead in his driveway while shoveling, I thought it might be good to share what I know now.
Go HERE as Dr. Vogelmann, a Bethesda chiropractor and driveway owner, gives video tips on safe and effective snow shoveling.
If you're out of shape, carrying a lot of extra pounds, over 50 years old or not in the best of physical health (heart, respiratory, high cholesterol, etc.), maybe you should get someone else to do the shoveling, or, at the very least, take it really easy if you decide to do the work yourself. Go HERE for some other good tips.

I've been out shoveling twice today, once this morning and this afternoon. I'm officially giving up...it will probably be a block of ice by tomorrow and South Division St hasn't been plowed, gritted or salted yet either.

I was out last night and did the walk. I was out this morning and did the walk. I was out this afternoon and did the walk.

I'm with you, 3:47. I'm giving it up.

I'm glad the city budget request for the new parking garage Bobcat was shut down.
It would be plowing out Gary Comegys' driveway right now.
