Hillary Emails Betrayed Whereabouts of Murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens

An email containing the whereabouts and plans of murdered U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens passed through Hillary Clinton’s private server, dispatches released Monday in the final group of messages from Clinton’s emails reveal.

The email was actually first released last May but was contained in Monday’s batch as well, serving as a reminder that numerous emails sent to Clinton’s private address betrayed Stevens’ location while he was stationed in arguably one of the most dangerous zones in the world for an American diplomat.

The email in question was written Sunday, April 10, 2011 by State employee Timmy Davis and sent to the State email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan and Clinton’s senior aide.

Abedin forwarded the message to Clinton. At the time, Stevens was the U.S. envoy to the Libyan rebels.

School Forces ‘Gender Identity’ on 5-Year-Olds

The Daily Signal has done extensive reporting on an ongoing train-wreck in a public elementary school in Minnesota over the imposition of the transgender ideology on kindergarteners.

The debate pits parents of kids just out of diapers against school administrators in league with transsexual activists and at least one professional guild of psychologists.

As Kelsey Harkness reports, “It all started with a book: My Princess Boy.”

Hillary's Felonious Foreign Friends

You can’t have a Clinton campaign without a massive foreign fundraising scandal.

The Daily Caller reports:

Hansjorg Wyss, a billionaire Swiss citizen and multi-million dollar Clinton Foundation donor, gave 30 contributions to American political campaigns over a nine-year period, according to an investigation by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Wyss donated $41,000 to seven congressional candidates and to four national political action committees from 1998 to 2003, according to Federal Election Commission records under the name of Hansjorg Wyss.

Colorado campaign finance records also report that Wyss gave $50,000 to Coloradans for Responsible Growth in March 2000, a statewide environmental political action committee that closed its doors only two years later, in part because it reportedly never filed the required financial statements.

Marco Rubio's Embarrassing Moment

In his race for the presidency, it seems as though Marco Rubio has not been staying up to date on the current happenings in Congress…

For almost three months the U.S. has been able to legally export crude oil, but Republican presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio is still campaigning on lifting the ban.

Rubio told supporters he would lift the ban as president at a private fundraiser in Texas Friday, and his campaign website has an entire page devoted to the need to lift the ban. “I would also allow American oil producers to be able to export,” Rubio said, when asked what he would do about poor oil prices as president. “Right now we’re not allowed to export.”

Rubio missed the omnibus vote, opting to campaign for president instead. He later chalked up his absence to a vote against a bill full of “garbage.” “The outcome is already predetermined,” he told Greta Van Susteren on Fox News in December.

Delegate Carozza Responds MD HB 1178/SB 868 propose mandatory HPV vaccine for 9th graders

Thank you for contacting me regarding HB 1178/SB 868, which would mandate that a child has received three doses of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine before entering ninth grade unless a child’s parents rejects such immunization on religious grounds. I took time to review this issue and sought additional information from my colleagues on the appropriate committees before responding to you. I share your serious concerns and am opposed to this legislation. It is my understanding that the bills may be withdrawn.

As you may know, HB 1178/SB 868 were introduced by Delegate Angela Angel (District 25) and Senator Shirley Nathan-Pulliam (District 44). HB 1178 will be heard by the House Ways and Means Committee on March 10th while the hearing on SB 868, originally scheduled for March 9th, has been canceled.

Please know that I am a strong supporter of individual rights and freedoms. As a State Delegate, I believe that government involvement in a person’s life should be kept to a minimum. I share your concerns about legislation that would require vaccinations for individuals who are opposed to receiving them.

I appreciate your taking the time to share your views with me. If I can be of further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Funny Old Man in Japan

Presidential Eligibility Requirements: By Robert Quinn

In eight years I have written approx. forty letters denouncing Barack Obama's illegitimate takeover of the Office of President of the United States. Copies of each letter were sent to most everyone mentioned within the letters and to all on my e-mail list. Initially,I expected to find Obama eligible,but, to my surprize, from day one evidence surfaced showing he used deception,lying,limited fraudulent documents, even silence to hide his ineligibility from the eyes of America. By his efforts he displayed his true colors, which, to no surprize, did not include red, white, or blue! In previous letters, I mentioned how Obama claimed to have been born in Kapiolani Medical Center, in Hawaii, yet,not one hospital, including Kapiolani will, to this day, confirm his claim. Even Hawaiian Governor Neil Abercrombie, who personally went to that hospital to obtain proof of Obama's birth, returned empty-handed and he publically admitted that his trip was fruitless. Please reflect on the above two sentences for the words were not born of Republicans nor Racists. They were pure and simple statements of fact. If anyone other than Obama had attempted to justify a personal eligibility without valid evidence to confirm their eligibility they would have been laughed out of every courtroom. Obama, however, had the last laugh, for he still had "lying" and "cheating" in his bag of betrayal and he used them well.

Obama's "Silence" Speaks Volumes

The following example will illustrate how truly the above paragraph heading identifies one of the most subtle means of defense Obama employs when his ineligibility is challenged. It's called "Silence". By ignoring questioners he keeps his deception secret, thereby forcing citizens to suffer for simply seeking the truth.

Lawmaker proposes ‘FAST’ slim down of federal property

Rep. Jeff Denham (R-Calif.) wants to shrink the federal government and make some money in the process. He introduced the Federal Assets Sale and Transfer (FAST) Act of 2016 on Feb. 4, which would identify federal properties that could be sold off to reduce operation and maintenance costs.

According to the General Services Administration’s 2014 Federal Real Property Profile, the government owns or leases roughly 275,000 buildings. Of those, approximately 77,000 are under-utilized and cost $1.7 billion annually, according to information provided by Denham’s office.

“Unused and under-utilized federal properties have been draining on our economy for years,” Denham said in a statement. “My bill will save us billions by cutting through red tape to change the poorly managed property management system so that taxpayers no longer have to foot the bill for keeping the lights on in empty buildings.”

Ivanka Trump: ‘My Father Is in This For The Long Run, He’s Not Backing Down’

Ivanka Trump tells Breitbart News executive chairman Stephen K. Bannon that her father, Donald Trump, brings “tremendous energy, enthusiasm, passion” to the presidential race. She says she’s not surprised that the political establishment is heaping invective on their populist GOP frontrunner.

“Obviously as a daughter, it’s hurtful to hear those things said. I know that they’re not true, so it bothers me less to my core. On the surface, it’s obviously a hurtful thing to hear as a daughter,” Trump said. “I will say there’s so much support, and so much outpouring of love from the people that it more than makes up for a couple of naysayers.”

I will say that I’m not altogether surprised, because ultimately, the establishment thrives on influence and power. And my father’s made it very clear he’s not looking to be influenced, not looking to take donations from interested parties. He’s looking to make clear decisions, clean decisions that are in the best interest of the country. So that cuts a lot of people out out of the equation that normally would have been influencing the agenda. So it’s not altogether surprising to me, even though I do think you see a lot of people who realize this is for the best of the country and they’re coming on board within the establishment as well. I do think that will happen. But’s it’s been a very interesting ride, to say the least.

“I think what we’re seeing now smacks of desperation.

Chinese General: Military Will Handle Threats to ‘China’s Sovereignty’ in South China Sea

The head of China’s military operations in the South China Sea threatened this weekend to use force to “deal with any security threat” in the region, asserting that “China’s sovereignty” in the region — highly disputed by its neighbors — was worth deploying the military.

General Wang Jiaocheng, who runs the People’s Liberation Army Southern Theatre Command, told reporters his soldiers were ready to respond to any “threat” in the region. “The military will be capable of dealing with any security threat. No country will be allowed to use any excuse or action to threaten China’s sovereignty and safety,” he said, adding that “maritime defense” was paramount for the military in his region. “The foremost mission is to safeguard rights and interests in the South China Sea,” he noted.

China claims most of the South China Sea, with Foreign Minister Wang Yi asserting during a joint press conference with American Secretary of State John Kerry that “the islands in the South China Sea have been China’s territory since ancient times,” and Beijing has no intention of addressing any challenging claims. There is no international legal precedent for China’s claims, however, and the nations of Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei. Malaysia, and Taiwan all dispute China’s claims.

Subject: Refugees Buying One-way Tickets Home After Finding Germany Intolerable

With a one-way ticket home to Iraq in his hands and seven months' worth of frustration over intransigent German bureaucracy in his heart, Gazwan Abdulhasen Abdulla gave up on his dreams of a better life in Europe.

Homesick and eager to be back with his wife and four small children in Basra, Abdulla was giving up his refugee status as he boarded a crowded Iraqi Airways flight from Berlin's Tegel Airport to Baghdad that would whisk him and 150 other disillusioned former refugees back home in five hours.

He had scraped together his last $325 for the flight to Iraq — a small fraction of the money he had paid to smugglers last summer to get to Germany by foot, bus and boat through Turkey, Greece, the Balkans and Austria.

But now, after more than 1.1 million refugees from troubled lands such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan have trekked into Germany over the last 13 months, a small but growing number are heading home.

The reasons are myriad, but include overcrowded refugee centers, exasperating bureaucracy, unfamiliar German food, a lack of jobs and a spreading sense of resentment from Germans who fear their country is being overrun by Muslims.

A death penalty indictment has been filed against a convicted cocaine dealer after police say he murdered his ex-girlfriend and her two children after having been granted an early prison release.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said in a press release Tuesday that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a 10-count death penalty indictment on Callahan.

Teacher Sues School Over Bullying By Student

LOVELAND, Colo. – A Colorado teacher is suing her former employer after an allegedly violent autistic student punched, kicked, slapped and spit on her, and her supervisors refused to intervene.

Thompson School District in Loveland fired special education teacher Carrie Giesler after a 13-year-old boy in her class broke her thumb and she reported the incident to police, who filed third-degree assault charges against the child, Fox 31 reports.

Giesler told the news station she was targeted by the autistic teen shortly after she started working with him in the 2014-15 school year, and reported repeated physical and verbal abuse to her superiors a dozen times in October, November and December 2014, as well as January, February and March 2015.

The student “walked up and open face, open handed slapped me, punched me in the ribs, kicked me in the back, spitting in my face,” Giesler said. “I was told that was my job and I was to get in there and take it.”

The child also drew pictures of weapons he wanted to use to kill his teacher, a threat he often repeated, Giesler said.

“The entire time with him going ‘Are you scared of me? Are you scared of me? You should be. I’m going to kill you, bitch,” Giesler said.

Trump University: A Model for Making America Great?

For all of the self-hype about Donald Trump’s great successes as a businessman, his business failures are even more instructive. While failure in business can certainly be overcome and there can be valuable lessons learned from mistakes, there are also instances when the business itself becomes more important than the people it’s supposed to be helping or serving. One such example is Trump University.

Thankfully, during the last Republican presidential debate, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz finally started going after the frontrunnerinstead of each other. Rubio landed a good punch, sarcastically conceding that he didn’t “know anything about starting a fake university.”

Naturally, Trump defended his creation of Trump University. During an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” he insisted he would do it all over again because, he boasted, “98% of the people who took the courses approved the courses” and “said they were great.” As usual Trump left out many, many details.

What exactly was Trump University? David Marcus notes, “To understand what Trump University was, it is important to understand what it wasn’t — namely, a university.” In fact, a lawsuit filed by the New York attorney general in 2013 forced Trump University to change its name to Trump Entrepreneur Initiative. It turns out that Trump U was operating illegally as a non-accredited university and did not offer any degrees or well-rounded curriculum. Trump ignored warnings dating to 2005.

What did it offer? It offered educational products, some with a price tag of $35,000, which were designed to teach students how to make big profits in real estate. At the lower levels, seminars were offered to teach students how to flip properties but they were designed to upsell the student to the next higher level course. Indeed, upselling was the name of the game, and many students were coaxed into paying a hefty price for useless information.

It was a classic bait-and-switch scam — a lie, a fraud. People paid generous sums of money to attend these courses that benefitted not the students but the businessman Donald Trump. And his outfit is now the defendant in three lawsuits.

House will vote to oppose Obama deportation amnesty in courts

The House will take what Republicans call an unprecedented step of voting to file a friend-of-the-court brief with the Supreme Court officially opposing President Obama’s deportation amnesty, House Speaker Paul D. Ryan said Tuesday.

Mr. Ryan cast the upcoming vote as a constitutional crisis, rather than an immigration issue — but the vote is likely to be colored by the broader fight over illegal immigration.

“This executive amnesty is a direct attack on the Congress’s Article I powers under the Constitution,” Mr. Ryan said. “The president is not permitted to write law. Only Congress is. The House will make that very clear.”

New Scans of King Tut's Tomb May Reveal Hidden Burial Chamber

On April 2, a new series of radar scans will be performed on King Tutankhamun's tomb to search for hidden chambers that may contain an undiscovered royal burial, Egypt's antiquities ministry has announced.

The announcement comes after stories were published in numerous media outlets last week claiming that Egypt's tourism minister, Hisham Zazou, had told the Spanish news outlet ABC that the chambers had been proven to exist and contain numerous treasures.

"The Ministry of Antiquities has not issued any statement concerning the results that have been reached so far," the ministry said in a statement released to Live Science. "Further radar examinations will be performed on April 2, and a press conference will be held afterwards to announce the results of the scan." [See Photos of King Tut's Mummy & His Burial]

Last year, University of Arizona Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves published findings suggesting that there are hidden chambers behind a wall in Tutankhamun's tomb. These chambers, he believes, hold the burial of Queen Nefertiti, the wife of Akhenaten, a pharaoh who was Tutankhamun's father.

How the GOP Insiders Plan to Steal the Nod From Trump

“Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.” – Eric Hoffer

Despite a growing string of victories in the Republican primaries ,the DC-Wall Street cabal that has dominated the GOP since 1988 has no intention of letting the billionaire real estate mogul be nominated. None other than Karl Rove has insisted the stop-Trump effort is not too late and can succeed.

A new superPAC has dumped $10 million dollars into blistering negative TV ads against Trump in the last three days. The Koch brothers and their associates deny funding the effort but they denials are questionable at best. The New York Times reported Sunday that the Rubio and Kasich campaigns are now openly planning on a ‘brokered convention” to stop Trump in the back rooms in Cleveland. The New York Daily News reported that Barbara Bush has vowed revenge against Trump for ending the “low energy” campaign of her son Jeb, the anointed one and that the Bush clan is all-in in the effort to stop Trump. The News reported that Jeb may transfer the $25 to $30 million in SuperPAC funds he has left to an anti-Trump effort

The power-brokers short term game is clear; stall Trump just short of the magic number of delegates needed to be nominated on the first ballot with the knowledge that many delegates bound on the first ballot by Trump primary and caucus victories would be unbound on a second ballot. Much in the way the RNC stacked the galleries with anti-Trump partisans in the last two debates, anti-Trump quislings are be planted in various delegations that will be free to betray Trump on subsequent ballots.

If Cruz prevails in Texas and Kasich can hold Ohio the insiders game of “keep away “could get some legs.

The New Face of the Patriot Movement-- a Kansas-raised Teenager

Auburn, Kan.-- In one of dozens of YouTube videos posted this past month featuring teenager Victoria Sharp, who is from these parts, she flashes a wide smile when an online broadcaster offers to produce “The Victoria Sharp Show.”

It would play to a patriot movement audience.

“Will you please be the spokesman for our youth concerning our Constitution and our freedoms?” asked the broadcaster.

“Yes,” she said.

As for hosting a show, Sharp, 18, said she needed time to rest after her harrowing afternoon near the occupied Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon.

On Jan. 26 she witnessed authorities shoot dead one of the occupiers whose pickup truck had plowed past a roadblock.

So began Sharp’s rocket ride to stardom on the websites and radio shows that peddle in government conspiracies.

She says she watched from the truck’s back seat as Robert “LaVoy” Finicum stepped out, raised his hands and declared, “If you’re going to shoot, then just shoot me.” Then authorities fired on him in the snow. The FBI says that Finicum, who was a militia spokesman during the recent standoff, reached toward a jacket pocket where a handgun was found.

Overhead footage shows he left the truck with hands up but then moved at least one hand toward his coat.

Subject: General Says Terrorists In 'Daily' Refugee Flow

Terrorists, criminals and foreign fighters are part of the daily refugee flow into Europe, the top NATO commander in Europe told lawmakers, "masking the movement" of these dangerous elements and heightening the potential for an attack.

In testimony Tuesday before the Senate Armed Services Committee, U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove said the Islamic State extremist group is "spreading like a cancer" within this mix, "taking advantage of paths of least resistance, threatening European nations" and the United States.

In response to a question about whether the Islamic State will continue to infiltrate refugee flows, Breedlove said, "I think that they are doing that today."

Fate of Ark of the Covenant Revealed in Hebrew Text

A newly translated Hebrew text claims to reveal where treasures from King Solomon's temple were hidden and discusses the fate of the Ark of the Covenant itself.

But unlike the Indiana Jones movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark," the text leaves the exact location of the Ark unclear and states that it, and the other treasures, "shall not be revealed until the day of the coming of the Messiah son of David …" putting it out of reach of any would-be treasure seeker.

King Solomon's Temple, also called the First Temple, was plundered and torched by the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar II in the sixth century B.C., according to the Hebrew Bible. The Ark of the Covenant is a chest that, when originally built, was said to have held tablets containing the 10 commandments. It was housed in Solomon's Temple, a place that contained many different treasures.

The newly translated text, called "Treatise of the Vessels" (Massekhet Kelim in Hebrew), says the "treasures were concealed by a number of Levites and prophets," writes James Davila, a professor at the University of St. Andrews, in an article in the book "Old Testament Pseudepigrapha More Noncanonical Scriptures Volume 1" (William B. Eerdmans Publishing Co., 2013).

Illinois Birther Suit Against Cruz Dismissed

Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz fended off a lawsuit seeking to keep him off the Illinois primary ballot.

A supporter of rival candidate Ben Carson argued Cruz should be stricken from the ballot because he isn’t a “natural born citizen” as mandated by the Constitution to become president since he was born in Canada. The senator from Texas is fighting similar challenges in his home state as well as in New York, Alabama and Utah.

In the Illinois case, Cruz said the plaintiff failed to fulfill requirements for serving him and the state’s election board with the complaint. Judge Maureen Ward Kirby in Chicago agreed and threw out the suit.

Cruz, born in Calgary in 1970, says he’s eligible to run because his mother was a U.S. citizen. His father is from Cuba. Many constitutional law experts have backed his view, though some disagree. The U.S. Supreme Court has never ruled on the issue.

Attorney Lawrence Joyce filed the suit after the Illinois State Board of Elections dismissed his challenge.

DIA: Russian Software Could Threaten U.S. Industrial Control Systems

The Defense Intelligence Agency warned this month that Russian government hackers could penetrate U.S. industrial control networks using commercial security software.

The agency stated in a recent notice circulated within the Pentagon that security software being developed by Kaspersky Lab, a Russian-origin company, will create vulnerabilities for U.S. industrial control systems and so-called supervisory control and data acquisition software, or SCADA, systems, if purchased and deployed by American utilities.

A DIA spokesman declined to comment on the report.

Kaspersky Lab, in a statement, denied its security products could be used against U.S. infrastructure.

In a related development, two U.S. military commanders urged Defense Secretary Ash Carter earlier this month to do more to defend critical infrastructure from cyber attacks against industrial control systems.

“We respectfully request your assistance in providing focus and visibility on an emerging threat that we believe will have serious consequences on our ability to execute assigned missions if not addressed – cyber security of [Defense Department] critical infrastructure Industrial Control Systems,” Northern Command’s Adm. William Gortney and Pacific Command’s Adm. Harry Harris stated in a Feb. 11 letter to Carter.

Is College Worth It?

Food Stamp Users Near Record High Despite Low Unemployment Rate

Despite the unemployment rate being at an eight-year low (4.9 percent as of January 2016), the number of people on food stamps remains near an all-time high which was 47,636,000 in 2013.

Why the disparity in the numbers? Well, the unemployment rate does not take into account people who are not in, or have dropped out of, the workforce altogether.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported in January of this year that approximately 94 million Americans are not participating in the workforce.

But the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has been hovering around 46 million participants since 2011. The current figure, as of February 2016, stands at 45.8 million Americans receiving food stamps.

Bloomberg Business reported that the last time the unemployment rate was at five percent in April 2008, only 28 million Americans were on food stamps.

But College is Free in Europe

Eventually – maybe sooner than later – the primaries will conclude and it will on to the general election.

As it stands now, the presumptive nominee on the democrat side will be Hillary Clinton. I still can’t believe it, but I guess criminal behavior in America, at least on the left is not only NOT frowned upon, but appears to be a resume enhancement. And it seems Clinton is picking up some steam. Once she get’s that caboose moving forward, there’s no stopping it.

One of the reasons Clinton swamped Sanders in the recent South Carolina primary may be her new college plan. In January, her new platform included what seems to be free college – similar to Sanders.

She exclaimed: “And I’ll give you debt-free tuition at public colleges and universities in America, and we’re finally going to give you a chance to refinance your student debt and save thousands of dollars. And I have a special provision in my college plans, I want a $25 billion dollar fund specifically aimed at helping historically black colleges and universities.”

Now, I don’t know exactly what “debt-free tuition” is but it sounds to me like free college.

Subject: Sowell: Last Chance for America?

The “Super Tuesday” primaries may be a turning point for America — and quite possibly a turn for the worse. After seven long years of domestic disasters and increasing international dangers, the next President of the United States will need extraordinary wisdom, maturity, depth of knowledge and personal character to rescue America.

Instead, what we may get is someone with the opposite of all these things, a glib egomaniac with a checkered record in business and no track record at all in government — Donald Trump.

If so, the downward trajectory of America over the past seven years may well continue on into the future, to the point of no return.

Democrat Susan Estrich says that it is “fun” watching Donald Trump. She may be able to enjoy the spectacle because Trump is Hillary Clinton’s best chance of winning the general election in November. Even if the FBI’s investigation leads them to recommend an indictment, the Obama administration is not likely to indict Hillary.

No doubt “The Donald” is entertaining, and he has ridden a wave of Republican voter anger against the Republican establishment, which has repeatedly betrayed them, especially on illegal immigration.

But these political problems are a sideshow, in a world where Iran is guaranteed to get nuclear weapons and North Korea, which already has them, is developing long-range missiles that can reach American cities. Iran is also developing long-range missiles.

This Gene Could Turn Your Hair Gray

We all know ancestors give us our hair color, but the roots of gray hair have been less clear. Is it genetics, or stress?

Marie Antoinette supposedly went completely white the night before they lopped off her head. And our presidents seem to go gray much faster than those of us with less weighty roles.

It turns out you can blame Mom and Dad, at least a bit. Scientists say they've identified the first gene for gray hair.

The variant, dubbed IRF4, is also associated with blonde or lighter-colored hair. That makes sense, because melanin is the pigment that paints hair with the chestnut, golden or raven hues of youth. With age, the melanocytes that produce the color in hair follicles can slow down. And you start going gray.

More Damaging Evidence in the SUNY Albany Racial Hoax

Audio from two 911 phone calls and video footage of the alleged racially motivated assault at a New York college has been released, providing more evidence why the women who made the accusation are now being charged with false reporting.

The three women claimed they were attacked by more than a dozen white people who hurled racial slurs at them as they rode a bus back to the State University of New York at Albany campus. But video footage from the bus and cell phone cameras showed that one of the alleged victims threw the first punch and that one of the accusers is the one who used a racial slur — against a white passenger.

Now some of that footage has been released, but it is difficult to tell what exactly happened. The 911 audio is more damaging, showing one of the accusers saying "I think it's so funny" and "I beat up a boy" before the call connected to a dispatcher.

When the call connected, the accuser then tells the story that she was "jumped" on a bus and that it was a racially motivated attack.

Romney Is A Loser

The above picture clearly shows, Romney gets involved you're going to lose. Just ask Jeb!

The man holds a press conference to attack a presidential candidate as if anyone gives a crap what the man thinks. He's a loser. He's milked off his Wife's inheritance for most of his life and he wants to attack a proven businessman?

I have lost all respect for Mitt Romney. This sore loser just can't handle the fact that MOST of America supports Donald Trump and the Romney's stand to lose BIG if a real man gets in who doesn't give a crap about POLITICIANS special interests. Hmmm, does this remind you of anyone?

If the American people buy this crap from Romney, well, the Liberals have won then. They have brain washed you into being nothing but FOLLOWERS, not capable of making up your own minds and simply siding with what you are told to do.

I say, let Donald Trump hold his own. I can't wait to see the Daily Times and WBOC go to the democrat club tonight and ask "random" people what they thought of the Romney speech today.

South Dakota Governor Vetoes Bill Stipulating Transgender Students' Bathroom Use

Gov. Dennis Daugaard has vetoed a bill that would have required transgender students in South Dakota's public schools to use bathrooms, locker rooms and other facilities based on their gender at birth.

Daugaard issued the veto Tuesday afternoon on a bill that would have become law at midnight if he had taken no action.

Opponents of the measure, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Human Rights Campaign, had called on Daugaard to veto the bill.

"Proponents of House Bill 1008 say it protects students' privacy," South Dakota Public Radio reports. "Opponents say it's discrimination."

Court: American Victims of Terror Can Confiscate $9 Million From Iran

American victims of Iranian-backed terror attacks can seize Iranian bank accounts in order to pay off more than $9.4 million in damages awarded to these victims, according to a recent ruling by a California-based U.S. Court of Appeals.

The court ruled late last week in a landmark decision against appeals by the Iranian government. The ruling paves the way for other U.S. terror victims to sue the Islamic Republic for terror acts, according to the court ruling.

The case concerned a 1997 suicide bombing in Israel that wounded several American citizens. Iran was found guilty of sponsoring the terror attack and was initially held liable for it by a U.S. court in 2013.

Iran appealed that decision, which ordered the country to pay $9.4 million in damages, arguing that the assets in question could not be touched due to a 2012 Obama administration order blocking access to Iranian property and other interests held in the United States.

The appeals court rejected this argument on Friday, ruling that Iran no longer has legal immunity in these types of cases. The decision sets the stage for U.S. terror victims to finally receive compensation from Iran, which is expected to again appeal the judgment.

The case is also being viewed as a potential shot at Obama administration efforts to rebuild diplomatic ties with Tehran. The administration has given Iran more than $150 billion in economic sanctions relief despite efforts by U.S. lawmakers to block the release until Iran pays U.S. victims of terrorism.

Iran has refused to pay out more than $43 billion in damages awarded by U.S. courts as the result of some 50 separate cases.

Open Warfare: Romney calls Trump ‘a phony, a fraud’; Trump calls Romney ‘failed candidate’

Mitt Romney launched a broadside against Donald Trump’s surging campaign on Thursday, calling the man who wishes to succeed him as the GOP’s presidential nominee a “phony” and a “fraud” who is playing Americans for “suckers.”

The 2016 front-runner already is firing back, calling Romney a "failed candidate" who begged him for his endorsement when he ran four years ago. Trump indeed endorsed Romney in the 2012 race.

Romney delivered his scathing speech at the University of Utah. As one businessman to another, Romney even mocked Trump’s record of building companies.

“A business genius he is not,” he said.

More broadly, the party’s 2012 presidential nominee issued a stark warning that Trump’s policies would lead to recession and “make America and the world less safe.”

He said the “only serious policy proposals” for the country are coming from the other Republican candidates on the field.

Subject: McConnell: SCOTUS Vacancy 'Will Not Be Filled This Year'

(CNSNews.com) - The Supreme Court vacancy "will not be filled this year," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Tuesday, following an hour long meeting with President Obama at the White House.

"We're perfectly prepared to take our argument to the American people," McConnell told a news conference.

"And I would tell you, if the shoe were on the other foot, do any of you think the Democrat majority in the Senate would be confirming a Republican president's nomination in the last year of his term? Of course not.

"This is going to be decided by the American people and the next president, whoever that may be, will fill this vacancy."

LEGISLATIVE ALERT

SB 472: Mandated Paid Sick Leave
(Maryland Healthy Working Families Act)
The Maryland Chamber is looking for oral and written testimony for the Senate version of this bill. It is important for you to tell legislators how this will impact your business.

The Senate Finance Committee hearing is TOMORROWThursday, March 3, 2016, starting at 1 p.m. in the Miller Senate Office Building, 11 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD.

Click here to download a handout outlining the bill and key points of opposition.

Please contact the Chamber at advocacy@mdchamber.org if you wish to testify or submit written testimony.
Bill Summary:
This bill requires employers with 10 or more employees to provide paid sick and safe leave. If the employer has 9 or less employees, the employer is required to provide unpaid sick and safe leave.

The Bill Specifics:
1. provide up to 7 days (56 hours) of paid leave to employees working at least 8 hours per week (1 hour for every 30 hours worked);
2. Accrue the leave from an employee’s first day of work;
3. Permit the employee to use the leave by at least the beginning of the 4th month of work or after the first 480 hours worked;
4. Permit the employee to use the leave for preventative care, illness or certain situations involving domestic violence for themselves and/or a family member;
5. Roll at least 56 hours of leave over from year to year;
6. Reinstate any accrued, unused leave at the time of termination to an employee who is rehired within 12 months;
7. Permit the employee to use this leave in the smallest increment that the employer’s payroll system uses and not more than one hour increments;
8. Applies to all employees who work more than 8 hours a week;
9. A family member includes:
  • a biological child, an adopted child, a foster child, or a stepchild of the employee;
  • a child for whom the employee has legal or physical custody or guardianship;
  • a child for whom the employee is the primary caregiver;
  • a biological parent, an adoptive parent, a foster parent, or a stepparent of the employee or the employee’s spouse;
  • the legal guardian of the employee;
  • an individual who served as the primary caregiver of the employee when the employee was a minor;
  • the spouse of the employee;
  • a grandparent of the employee;
  • the spouse of a grandparent of the employee;
  • a grandchild of the employee;
  • a biological sibling, an adopted sibling, or a foster sibling of the employee; or
  • the spouse of a biological sibling, a foster sibling, or an adopted sibling of the employee; and,
10. Does not require an employer who to modify their existing policies; if, the policy allows the employee to access and accrue leave at the same rate or greater than prescribed in the bill and use leave for the purposes outlined.

Key Opposition Points:
  • The bill requires the accrual of leave of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. Employers’ current policies utilize other accruals (e.g., by days or weeks worked or pay periods), which means that they would be forced to change accrual methods, which would be complicated, costly, and burdensome.
  • The bill creates an additional private right of action against employers, and for employers of all sizes, defending litigation can be costly.
  • As drafted, an employer is not permitted to validate the use of sick leavethrough documentation until an employee has missed two consecutive shifts. This is so even if an employee claims he has taken a day or morning off to go to a doctor. This is an invitation for abuse and administratively would be difficult to manage.
  • Even if you already have a paid sick leave or paid time off (PTO), you would be required to meet the minimum requirements of this legislation.

Registration for “Governor’s Young Readers” Program Begins Today for Baltimore City

A New Book Will Be Mailed Each Month to Participating Children

ANNAPOLIS, MD –
Governor Larry Hogan has announced that starting today, every child, from infancy to age 5, in Baltimore City can be enrolled, free of charge, in a new reading and book-delivery program. Named “Governor’s Young Readers,” the program is a part of country star Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Tennessee-based nonprofit organization that mails a specifically selected, age-appropriate book each month to the homes of participating children. The governor first announced the state’s adoption of the program in December.

“I am very excited to announce that the Governor’s Young Readers program officially begins today in Baltimore City,” said Governor Hogan. “Books are incredibly important building blocks in a child’s education, and my hope is that this program will foster a love of reading and learning, and help put children on a path for lifelong success.”

BREAKING: Mitt Romney is Being Sued in Federal Court for Criminal Racketeering

Steven “Laser” Haas is the owner and sole shareholder of Collateral Logistics Inc. (CLI) the firm which was retained to oversee the liquidation of assets in the bankruptcy of eToys in 2001.

During the process of liquidating the company Haas came across irregularities, unethical practices and outright criminal acts originating from the top at Bain Capital (Mitt Romney’s asset management firm), Goldman Sachs, Kay Bee Toys and Stage Stores, all of which were involved in the machinations to sell eToys for mere pennies to Bain through its interest in Kay Bee.

Haas filed his suit under a provision of the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) statute which allows a plaintiff to become a “Private Attorney General” when it is necessary in order to address “Prosecutorial Gaps.” According to Haas, that gap was created by Colm F. Connolly, former United States Attorney in Delaware who had been a partner in the law firm of Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell (MNAT) in 2001, alleging he had failed to disclose that fact while also neglecting to investigate the complaints which Haas had lodged.

Hillary Dismisses Core Constituent

Hillary Clinton doesn't do unrehearsed. The former First Lady has shied away from press conferences for months now, and avoided situations where she doesn't have absolute control of anyone and everyone in the room. Today, her plan to remain anonymous while running for president backfired, and we were all reminded why she rarely speaks off the cuff. As the Free Beacon notes:

Hillary Clinton had a tense confrontation with a young Somali-American woman in Minnesota Tuesday over her checkered past on racial issues.

The woman greeted Clinton and then brought up the “super-predator” remarks she made in the 1990s in support of a tough federal crime bill that Black Lives Matter protesters have deemed overly harsh on minorities.

A protester interrupted a private fundraiser to confront Clinton about the same comment last week.

This time, the conversation was more in the open.

“Well first of all, that comment was made one time,” Clinton said. “I’ve always been in favor of young people [getting more] opportunities.”

GOP strategist Castellanos: Time to rally around Trump, ‘too late to ask mommy to step in and rewrite rules’

Even as major Republican donors coalesced Wednesday around a last-ditch effort to halt Donald Trump's march toward the GOP presidential nomination, resignation was setting in among some onetime Trump critics.

"It is too late," Republican media strategist Alex Castellanos, who had unsuccessfully urged top GOP contributors to back an anti-Trump campaign earlier in the cycle, wrote in an email. "There is a fantasy effort to stop Trump, like a fantasy campaign to stop yesterday but it exists only as the denial stage of grief."

Trump Takes on Rubio's Top Supporter

A few weeks ago, Donald Trump and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley had seemed to reach an understanding about her comments during the State of the Union response, which many believe were directed squarely at the GOP frontrunner. They were friendly. Then Haley endorsed Trump's rival, Florida Senator Marco Rubio. It looks like that's all over...

China to Lay off 5-6 Million Workers

China aims to lay off 5-6 million state workers over the next two to three years as part of efforts to curb industrial overcapacity and pollution, two reliable sources said, Beijing's boldest retrenchment program in almost two decades.

China's leadership, obsessed with maintaining stability and making sure redundancies do not lead to unrest, will spend nearly 150 billion yuan ($23 billion) to cover layoffs in just the coal and steel sectors in the next 2-3 years.

The overall figure is likely to rise as closures spread to other industries and even more funding will be required to handle the debt left behind by "zombie" state firms.

The term refers to companies that have shut down some of their operations but keep staff on their rolls since local governments are worried about the social and economic impact of bankruptcies and unemployment.

Shutting down "zombie firms" has been identified as one of the government's priorities this year, with China's Premier Li Keqiang promising in December that they would soon "go under the knife"..

BOMB SQUAD EVACUATES NEIGHBORHOOD OVER SEALED BOX OF AMMO

Residents call bomb squad response paranoid overreaction

Fire officials in San Antonio, Texas, evacuated several homes and dispatched the police department’s bomb squad unit over the weekend after a harmless box of ammo was discovered under a home.

On Saturday, the San Antonio Fire Department captain, Troy Balcar, told WOAI that a family member had located a “sealed box with about 75 rounds of decades-old ammunition underneath the house.”

Republicans Can Give Workers a $1 Billion Pay Raise

If Donald Trump's gravity-defying ascendancy has validated anything, it is that for Middle America, jobs and economic security are still the dominant issue. Republicans have talked up tax reform, regulatory relief and fiscal restraint — and those are all critical to growth.

But it's time for Republicans to expand their portfolio of issues and concentrate directly on increasing worker paychecks. Hillary Clinton loves to talk about helping "the working-class folks." This is a voter group she knows so much about, because they are the chauffeurs that drive her to Ritz-Carlton hotels and clear the dinner tables when she gives her $200,000 speeches to Goldman Sachs. But Clinton can't truly champion these workers' rights, because the unions won't let her.

Republicans can and should. One way to do so would be to embrace a new initiative called the Employee Rights Act (ERA). Trump and all the remaining Republican candidates ought to get on board. The act is currently sponsored by Republicans Orrin Hatch of Utah in the Senate and Tom Price of Georgia in the House.

Here's Osama bin Laden's letter to the American people

Osama bin Laden's undated letter to the American people is one of 113 documents declassified by the Director of National Intelligence on Tuesday.

The letter, seized in the May 2, 2011, raid on bin Laden's Abbottabad hideout, begins: "To the American people, peace be upon those who follow the righteous track."

The document is part of a second batch translated and released by US intelligence agencies.

The first set of papers was declassified in May 2015.

In the four-page letter, bin Laden writes:

The way for change and freeing yourselves from the pressure of lobbyists is not through the Republican or the Democratic parties, but through undertaking a great revolution for freedom ... It does not only include improvement of your economic situation and ensure your security, but more importantly, helps him in making a rational decision to save humanity from the harmful [greenhouse] gases that threaten its destiny.

Hillary Email Withheld by 'Law Enforcement' May Show Intent

One of the two emails withheld from the final release of Hillary Clinton State Department emails was requested withheld by law enforcement and may show "intent," Fox News Channel's Catherine Herridge reported Monday.

Clinton has said repeatedly that none of the emails she sent or received on the private server she used while in office were "marked 'classified' at the time."

But Herridge, Fox News' chief intelligence correspondent, said Monday on "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" that she received a tip several months ago that at least one email clearly confirmed that the people sending the information to Clinton knew it was classified at the time.

An extreme astronaut just returned safely to Earth — and scientists can't wait to see him

It's hard to think of anything more extreme than riding a rocket into space, but NASA astronaut Scott Kelly has set a new extreme space record, and made history in the process.

After reaching the International Space Station last year on March 27, Kelly embarked on a mission that has pushed the boundaries of American spaceflight.

And on Tuesday evening at approximately 11:26 p.m. ET, part of that mission came to an end.

After spending a record-breaking 340 days in space — longer than any American before him — Kelly arrived safely back on Earth, packed inside a snug Soyuz capsule with cosmonauts Sergey Aleksandrovich Volkov and Mikhail Korniyenko, who also just completed 340 days in space.

The 'Trump Effect' Is Transforming GOP

The first four Republican contests — Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada — produced record turnouts.

While the prospect of routing Hillary Clinton and recapturing the White House brought out the true believers, it was Donald Trump's name on the ballot and his calls for economic patriotism, border security, and an end to imperial wars that brought out the throngs.

The crowds that continue to come out for his appearances and the vast audiences he has attracted to GOP debates testify to his drawing power.

Moreover, Trump has now been endorsed by Gov. Chris Christie, ex-chairman of the Republican Governors Association, and Sen. Jeff Sessions, one of the most respected conservatives on Capitol Hill.

Yet, with polls pointing to a possible Trump sweep on Super Tuesday, save Texas, his probable nomination, and a chance for the GOP to take it all in the fall, is causing some conservatives and Republicans to threaten to bolt, go third party, stay home, or even vote for Clinton.

They would prefer to lose to Clinton than win with Trump.

A conservative friend told this writer that Trump, unlike, say, Ted Cruz, has never shown an interest in the Supreme Court, which, with Justice Antonin Scalia's seat vacant, hangs in the balance.

Yet, surely, a President Trump, hearing the clamor of those who elected him to find a Scalia, would be responsive.

With President Clinton, the court is gone for a generation.

We hear wails that the nomination of Trump would mean the end of the conservative movement. But how so?
