Actress Hilarie Burton (“One Tree Hill”), wife of actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, publicly accused Hallmark Channel of firing her after she demanded more inclusivity in a particular movie in which she had been hired to star.
In a Twitter thread on Sunday, the 37-year-old Burton claimed that Hallmark Channel told her to “take it or leave it” when she insisted on more diverse casting in her particular project, including an LGBTQ character.
“Just going through some old emails from a [Hallmark] job I was ‘let go’ from back in January,” her Twitter thread began, as reported by Fox News. “I had insisted on an LGBTQ character, an interracial couple and diverse casting. I was polite, direct and professional. But after the execs gave their notes on the script and NONE of my requests were honored, I was told ‘take it or leave it.’ I left it. And the paycheck. Sh***y being penalized for standing up for inclusivity. I really wanted that job. It was close to my house. It paid really well.

Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Father of Two Freed into U.S. Again by Obama-Appointed Judge
An illegal alien accused of killing a father of two, Corey Cottrell, in June has been released from law enforcement custody into the United States by an Obama-appointed judge for the second time since Cottrell’s death.
As Breitbart News has chronicled, Jose Rodriguez, a 27-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, is accused of running a red light on June 22 in Illinois, causing him to hit and kill 39-year-old Corey Cottrell, who was riding his motorcycle at the time to visit his mother Kathy. Police said Rodriguez fled the scene of the accident and turned himself in the following day.
Rodriguez was ordered to be deported six years ago but never left the U.S. Later, it was revealed that the sanctuary state of Illinois issued a driver’s license to Rodriguez. Though the Cottrells consider the case a murder, to date, Rodriguez has only been charged with fleeing the scene of an accident with a death involved, speeding, and running a red light.
After being released from McLean County custody, Rodriguez was taken into custody by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. From there, Rodriguez was able to appeal his deportation order from six years ago, and federal immigration Judge Samuel Cole allowed the illegal alien to be freed from ICE custody without any GPS monitoring on November 15.
Judge Cole was appointed to his position in August 2016 by former President Obama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch.

‘I won’t be quiet’: Meghan McCain hits back after Whoopi Goldberg outburst
The View host Meghan McCain said she will not be silent after her fellow host Whoopi Goldberg told her to "stop talking" during the show.
"Dems and Rs alike need to confront the ugly truth: both parties are failing to be impartial jurors," McCain said Monday on Twitter. "I won’t be quiet, even if the reality reflects poorly on the entire political establishment. I have a responsibility to speak for the 50% that feels media doesn’t represent them."
"Pointing out things that are true is part of my job even if it angers people and even if it’s politically inconvenient," she added.

Saudi Student Arrested in New Mexico With Handgun & Hit List
A Saudi student in New Mexico arrested for illegal possession of a handgun had a hit list of people he planned to kill. The list included professors at the University of New Mexico, where he was an engineering student.
Hassan Alqahtani, 27, who also received his bachelor’s degree from UNM, turned himself in to authorities on Friday.
Alqahtani allegedly had a gun and wanted to buy other guns. The FBI received a tip about Alqahtani’s illegal possession of a gun by a person who also reported that Alqahtani had compiled a “list of people who he wants to kill before he leaves the U.S.”

'The countdown has started': Saudi gunman's chilling September 11 social media post - four MONTHS before he killed three at Pensacola naval base
The Saudi military member gunman who killed three U.S. sailors at Naval Air Station Pensacola posted disturbing messages on social media months before the attack, according to a law enforcement assessment.
'The countdown has started,' was the cryptic message posted by Saudi Air Force 2nd Lt. Mohammed Alshamrani on September 11, 2019, according to a Joint Intelligence Bulletin reported by ABC News.
The 21-year-old Saudi national also defended jihad on social media and referred to non-Muslims as 'infidels', according to the report.
The bulletin, which was issued by the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, National Counterterrorism Center and the Defense Intelligence Agency, also revealed chilling new details of the attack.

DAMAGE CONTROL: JILL BIDEN CLAIMS HUNTER ‘DID NOTHING WRONG’ — BLAMES TRUMP INSTEAD
Former Vice President Joe Biden’s wife Jill Biden went on MSNBC in attempt to justify Hunter Biden’s questionable dealings in Ukraine, claiming he had “done nothing wrong,” instead saying it’s all Trump’s fault.
“I know my son. I know my son’s character,” Jill Biden told MSNBC’s David Gura on Sunday. “Hunter did nothing wrong and that’s the bottom line.”
After Gura pointed out that questions about Hunter Biden’s Ukraine dealings just won’t go away, Jill Biden pivoted, framing the situation as two parents trying to defend their innocent son against unwarranted attacks.
“Well, I think that any parent who is watching this show knows that if anyone attacked their son or daughter, I mean, you don’t just sit down and take it,” she said.

Schiff: 'I Had No Idea FBI Was Committing Serious Abuses When I Said All That Stuff'
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) can't admit when he's wrong.
After last week's DOJ Inspector General report revealed that the FBI committed serious abuses while obtaining a warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page - including fabricating evidence, Schiff was asked on Sunday by Fox News host Christ Wallace:
"Given what you know now … are you willing to admit that you were wrong in your defense of the FBI’s FISA process?"
To which Schiff replied: "I’m certainly willing to admit that the inspector general found serious abuses of FISA that I was unaware of."
That's an odd way of admitting your entire thesis has been dead wrong for three years.

Florida Will Require All High School Students to Take Civics Course
Florida high school students will likely be required to take a civics course in order to graduate. Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was behind the push to mandate that Florida students have a basic civics education, and a bill mandating civics education is advancing through the state government.
According to a report by the Tampa Bay Times, Florida high school students will be required to take a civics course in order to qualify for graduation. The course will teach students about the values that have shaped American political history.
The bipartisan bill advanced in the Florida house on Thursday. Bill co-sponsor Representative Ben Diamond, a Democrat, argued that the course will give students the tools to fully participate in America’s democracy. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also announced this week that he ordered Florida’s education commissioner to mandate civics courses at public high schools around the state.

Jeremy Corbyn Goes Full Stacey Abrams, Declare Victory After Blowout Loss: ‘We Won The Argument’
Far-left British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn channeled his inner Stacey Abrams on Saturday after his blowout loss in the U.K. general election, declaring he “won the argument” in the election despite suffering the worst political loss in the U.K. since 1935.
In an op-ed published in The Guardian, a left-wing British publication, Corbyn blamed everything from “the financial crash of 2008” and billionaires to Brexit.
“I am proud that on austerity, on corporate power, on inequality and on the climate emergency we have won the arguments and rewritten the terms of political debate,” Corbyn declared. “But I regret that we did not succeed in converting that into a parliamentary majority for change.”

Democrats' Next 2020 Target: State Legislatures
A national Democrat movement is targeting at least seven states in a bid to take over the majority in several statehouses for the 2020 election.
The Washington Post reported that the Democrat Legislative Campaign Committee plans to spend $50 million to help boost candidates in Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Republicans control at least one, and in some cases both, chambers in those states' legislatures.
Six other states — Montana, Kansas, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Georgia, and Florida — are also on the group's radar as it tries to wrestle control from the GOP.
"We have a generational opportunity to flip state legislatures from red to blue," Democrat Legislative Campaign Committee president Jessica Post told the Post.

Is a trap being set for Trump in the Senate trial?
Can 20 U.S. Senators withstand the potentially irresistible temptation to reverse the results of the 2016 election and remove a president a number of them openly or privately dislike?
Since Donald Trump announced his intention to run for the White House on June 16, 2015, many of the entrenched elites across the various power centers of Washington and beyond have spent much of their waking hours trying to stop or unseat him.
The political charade of an impeachment “investigation” is but the latest example. But that impeachment charade could harbor the greatest threat to Trump’s presidency.
Over the past week, I have heard from three seasoned Republicans who fear that President Trump and the West Wing are seriously underestimating the potential danger of a Senate trial. Human nature and common sense dictate that, despite the well-meaning resolution circulated by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) condemning the House impeachment process, it's important for the White House to understand that the weight of history is settling upon the shoulders of these senators — some of them quite weak — and because of that pressure, private conversations are taking place and a trap may be sprung for the president in that trial.
In a speech to the American Enterprise Institute in October, former governor and U.S. ambassador Nikki Haley put her finger on the greater issue, saying in part:
“President Trump is a disruptor. That makes some people very happy, and it makes some people very mad. … When I was in the administration, I served alongside colleagues who believed the best thing to do for America was to undermine and obstruct the president. Some wrote about it anonymously in The New York Times. Others just did it. They sincerely believed they were doing the right thing. I sincerely believed they weren’t. … No policy disagreement with him … justifies undermining the lawful authority that is vested in his office by the Constitution.”
What’s at stake, Haley said, “is not President Trump’s policies. What’s at stake is the Constitution.”

Sex and politics are BANNED in TV soaps as Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi unleashes new wave of censorship
Sex and politics have been banned in TV soaps in a new wave of censorship in Egypt.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has come down hard on entertainment and news industries over the past three years and a new regulatory agency is overseeing output and censoring content.
Soap operas now must contain no sex scenes, no blasphemy and no politics. Police and other authority figures should be presented positively.
Gamal el Adl, who owns one of the most popular television production companies in the Middle East, says he thought he could manage by steering clear of the biggest taboos.

Donald Trump lays into his once-favorite Fox News for 'trying sooo hard to be politically correct' by interviewing 'sleazebag James Comey and corrupt Adam Schiff'
Donald Trump lambasted his favorite news network on Twitter Saturday, claiming Fox News is trying to be more like its 'dying' competitors MSNBC and CNN.
The criticism came after Fox News Sunday announced on its Twitter page Saturday afternoon that it would be conducting interviews with former FBI Director James Comey and Democrat Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.
'Hard to believe that @FoxNews will be interviewing sleazebag & totally discredited former FBI Director James Comey, & also corrupt politician Adam 'Shifty' Schiff,' Trump posted Saturday evening. 'Fox is trying sooo hard to be politically correct, and yet they were totally shut out from the failed Dem debates!'

Lindsey Graham Invites Rudy Giuliani To Deliver Findings From Ukraine Visit To Senate Panel
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told a panel on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday that he’s invited former New York City mayor-turned-president’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, to deliver remarks to the Senate Judiciary Committee, outlining his findings from his recent trip to Ukraine.
Giuliani traveled to Ukraine last week as part of his own “fact-finding mission,” into whether “Ukraine may have … attempted to interfere in the 2016 election,” per The Associated Press.
He also reportedly spoke with several officials involved in an inquiry, conducted several years ago, into whether former Vice President Joe Biden improperly pressured Ukrainian prosecutors to drop an investigation into a Ukrainian oil and gas firm that employed his son, Hunter, as a member of their board of directors.

Second Damning FBI Lie About Carter Page Revealed In IG Report: Sperry
Thanks to the DOJ Inspector General report on FBI surveillance abuses, we now know that the agency didn't just lie about former Trump campaign aide Carter Page - they fabricated evidence to obtain a surveillance warrant, excluding the fact that he had worked with the CIA.
But wait, there's more!
Thanks to a deep dive into the IG report, the Mueller report, and interviews with Trump campaign officials, RealClearInvestigations' Paul Sperry has found another fraud on the American public perpetrated by James Comey's FBI: The agency, as well as Special Counsel Robert Mueller, knew full well that Page wasn't "an agent of Russia," and that he had no role in gutting a pro-Russia / anti-Ukraine GOP platform plank at the 2016 convention.
Strap in, Sperry goes deep on this one.

America Has World’s Highest Rate of Single-Parent Households
The United States has a higher share of single-parent households than 129 other countries, a recent analysis from the Pew Research Center reveals.
Twenty-three percent of U.S. children live with a single adult, Pew found, compared with an average of just 7 percent around the world. Of the 130 countries from which Pew obtained survey data, rates of single-parent households ranged from the low 20s in the United States and United Kingdom to as low as 1 or 2 percent in countries like Turkey and Afghanistan.
The report suggests that America's record-high rate, a product of the steady decline in two-parent homes in the United States, is related to the move away from extended family structure in Western nations and toward a more isolated model for children and adults alike. The result is another part of the complicated story of family and marriage inequity in the United States.

Cruz on Hunter Biden: ‘Perfectly Within the Authority of the President to Investigate Corruption’
Sunday on ABC’s “This Week, Sen. Ted Cruz defended President Donald Trump’s effort to investigate Hunter Biden’s deal with Burisma.
Host George Stephanopoulos questioned the motivations of the investigation. He dismissed the allegations leveled at the former vice president’s son, to which Cruz noted there had been no sworn testimony from Hunter Biden regarding the matter.
Partial transcript as follows:
STEPHANOPOULOS: But, Senator Cruz, as you know in that phone call, the president never mentions the word corruption. He talks about CrowdStrike. He talks about the Bidens.
And back in September, you actually said that you wish the president didn’t go down that road to look into the Bidens, to call for investigations into the Bidens. So, what’s changed?
CRUZ: Well, look, what I said is there’s an appearance of impropriety, and that allows opponents to exploit it, to turn it into the kind of circus we’ve seen. But what I also said is there is real prima facie evidence of corruption.
You take, for example, the Bidens. We know that Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, was receiving up to $83,000 a month to serve on the board of the largest natural gas company in Ukraine, Burisma. Eighty-three thousand dollars a month, that’s a million dollars a year. That’s nearly ten times as much as ExxonMobil pays its directors.

5 Ways For Schools And Families To Work Together To Better A Child’s Educational Success
Text messages, email alerts, open houses, fundraising appeals, robocalls – parents know the drill. They are inundated with requests from children’s schools.
These missives aren’t really asking for engagement. Rather they can be viewed as ways for educators to tell parents what they should do to support their students or the school. These experiences can inadvertently communicate that schools alone know what’s best for children – and parents should listen and follow directions, a dynamic especially present in schools serving working-class communities of color.
As scholars and parents, my colleagues and I research the intersection of families, schools and racial inequities. We have learned new ways for schools and families to work together to help realize children’s potential. And the answer isn’t fundraising, checking the latest school app or listening to robo-calls.
Research tells us that families play a critically important role in the educational success of their children. We also know from research that schools typically expect parents and families of color to conform to the values and behaviors of white, middle-class parents.
The hitch is that families of color don’t always participate in the ways schools expect. Histories of distrust and conflict often exist between families of color and schools.

Constituent Letter to Nadler: ‘I’ll Never Vote Democrat Again’
A man identifying himself as “Joseph,” a 67-year-old Jewish man from Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York, wrote an open letter to Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) about his impeachment sham against President Donald Trump.
The letter begins with “Joseph” telling Nadler he’s been a Democrat for the past 45 years and always had a great deal of respect for Nadler.
He even donated to his campaign.
He then goes on to express his frustration over the “hateful” impeachment of President Trump.
Joseph says that the “hateful impeachment” is the reason he’s no longer a Democrat.
“I would like you to know I’ll never vote Democrat again,” the letter goes on to say.
What’s happening here is what happened back in 2016 as well.
We have the working-class, average American — the forgotten man and woman — fighting back against these coastal globalist elites who still think, even after their candidate lost the election in 2016, that they call the shots.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the rest of the Democrat leadership have caved to the radical Left in their party — the people who represent smug, rich, white academia liberals, as I see it.
By doing so, they’re once again abandoning middle-class America.

Loughlin and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 to the scandal's mastermind, Rick Singer, to have their daughters pose as University of Southern California athletes. They were also later accused of bribing USC employees to get their daughters admitted.
The couple pleaded not guilty in April to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. They also pleaded not guilty in November to a bribery charge.

Racial Justice Scorecard: Here’s How 2020 Dem Candidates Ranked In ‘First Of Its Kind’ Study
On Thursday, the Center for Urban and Racial Equity (CURE) released its 2020 Racial Justice Presidential Scorecard. The scorecard is described by the group as the “first of its kind” and it analyzes presidential candidates‘ policy proposals through a racial equity lens across essential areas such as education, criminal justice reform, health care, voting rights, reparations, environmental justice, immigration, indigenous rights and policies to close the racial wealth gap.
The scorecard also takes into consideration the candidates’ past and current rhetoric and language around racial justice issues that mean a lot to communities of color. The criteria for scoring included support for specific policies to further racial justice, the amount of detail provided for their policy strategies, and language used in debates and public events to lay out issues impacting Black and brown voters. The scorecard went through a rigorous external review process to make sure the scoring of the candidates was fair and on topic with issues of importance to communities of color.

House Dems stalled impeachment vote to boost TV views
A Democrat member of the House Judiciary Committee admitted that the committee’s chairman, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), abruptly delayed a vote on impeachment articles late Thursday night to Friday morning in order to increase television viewership.
With polls showing most Americans wanting the costly and time-consuming impeachment proceedings to come to an end, Nadler extended the debasing process even further by postponing a vote that was to take place slightly before midnight on Thursday at the conclusion of the long hearing – because virtually no one was paying attention at that time.
Nadler’s postponement move infuriated Republicans – who have already accused Democrats of using their impeachment powers to wage a partisan attack against President Donald Trump – and essentially proved the merit of their allegations, which were ultimately corroborated when Rep. Ted Deutch (D. Fla.) admitted to the Democrats’ motive behind stalling the vote.

Democrats Continue to Mis-characterize Blacks When It Comes to Their Votes for President
I’m a little shocked at how often the Democrats go on television and make these statements of “truth.”
It’s as if they can no longer hide their contempt for black people, as I see it.
Instead of countering the narrative that is put forth, liberal host Joy Reid and her guest Shireen Mitchell actually say that blacks like myself and Anthony B. Logan are not real people.
Blexit is run by Candace Owens and I recently met her in person — she is real.
Logan’s points are excellently made.
Only “the blacks” are required to vote for one party without any thought or expectation of a return on the investment.

Media Smears Army, Navy Cadets, Accuses Them Of Flashing White Power Symbols
Left-wing media publications were quick to smear a group of Army and Navy cadets on Saturday as the two service academies squared off on the gridiron in what is an intense football rivalry, accusing a group of them of flashing “white power” signs.
USA Today’s Mike Brehm reported:
Questions erupted during the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia when students appeared to make the White Power hand symbol during a pregame broadcast.
Spokespersons from the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy told USA TODAY Sports they have been made aware of the issue – which blossomed on social media as the game wore on – and the schools are looking into it.
Far-left activists posted close-up videos of television screens showing what they claimed was the cadets flashing the white power sign. Others urged their followers to make the photos and videos go viral on Twitter.
There was strong pushback against the smear attempts, with many noting that the cadets were playing the “circle game.”

A judge ordered up to 234,000 people to be tossed from the registered voter list in a swing state
A Wisconsin judge ordered the state to take as many as 234,000 people off its registered-voter list Friday because they may have moved — a decision that could impede residents of this swing state from voting in next year’s presidential election.
The case centers on a letter that the state Elections Commission sent in October to hundreds of thousands of voters, asking them to respond if they were still at that address or to update their registrations if they had moved.
Conservatives filed a lawsuit alleging that to avoid fraud, the commission should have thrown out the registrations of voters who did not respond to the mailing within 30 days, the Associated Press reported. The Elections Commission, composed of three Republicans and three Democrats, is challenging the suit by arguing that it has the legal power to manage the registered voter list and that removing people now would cause confusion if some of them had not actually moved.
