FBI knew Nikolas Cruz was stockpiling weapons

Florida governor Rick Scott is calling for Christopher Wray to step down from the top spot at the FBI after the agency admitted to ignoring information it had received about Nikolas Cruz from a source close to the the shooter.

'The caller provided information about Cruz’s gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting,' said the FBI in a statement on Friday.

The agency went on to state that this information, which came in over their Public Access Line, should have been classified as 'a potential threat to life' and the Miami field office notified about the information.

Those protocols were not followed however for reasons that are still not clear, and on Wednesday Cruz shot dead 17 people.

'Seventeen innocent people are dead and acknowledging a mistake isn't going to cut it,' said Governor Scott .

'We constantly promote "see something, say something," and a courageous person did just that to the FBI. And the FBI failed to act.'

He then stated: '"See something, say something" is an incredibly important tool and people must have confidence in the follow through from law enforcement. The FBI Director needs to resign.'

How ketamine relieves depression by suppressing the brain's "anti-reward" center

The anti-depressant qualities of ketamine, initially developed as an anesthetic before drifting into recreational circles due to its hallucinogenic properties, have been a booming topic of research over the past few years. Anecdotal evidence of the drug's effects have been so strong that "ketamine clinics" have popped up all over the US, delivering experimental treatments to patients for hundreds of dollars a dose. Researchers at Zhejiang University in China have now uncovered exciting new insights into a mechanism that may finally explain how ketamine has such a rapid anti-depressant effect.

Research from Columbia University Medical Center has recently clinically verified the drug's ability to rapidly reduce major depressive symptoms in a matter of hours, but the actual mechanism underlying these effects has been unclear. It's been known for some time that ketamine blocks a protein receptor in the brain called N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA), and it is this process that some have suspected is the cause of the drug's fast-acting anti-depressant qualities. But until now it hasn't been clear where in the brain this process is occurring.

Deputies called to suspected shooter’s home 39 times over seven years

Before Nikolas Cruz carried out his mass killing at a Florida high school this week, police responded to his home 39 times over a seven-year period, according to disturbing new documents.

Details about the calls to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office — obtained from police records by CNN — were not immediately available and it was impossible to determine if all involved Cruz.

But the nature of the emergencies at his Parkland home included “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance” and “missing person,” KTLA reported.

And a schoolmate, Brody Speno, told the network that cops were called to Cruz’s home “almost every other week.”

“Something wasn’t right about him,” Speno told CNN. “He was off.”

Dale Wilcox: Americans Want DACA to Expire, Not Amnesty

Providing amnesty to illegal aliens registered with the Obama administration’s now-defunct Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) should not be a political priority, said Dale Wilcox, Executive Director & General Counsel for the Immigration Reform Law Institute.

Wilcox made his comments on Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight in an interview with co-hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

Capitol Hill’s prioritization of DACA and extending amnesty to its registrants and other illegal aliens is a mistake, said Wilcox.

“There is no urgency regarding DACA,” said Wilcox. “You hear people losing their minds, ‘What are we going to do? It’s going to end March 5.’ This an arbitrary date; it was an unconstitutional program in the first place. The people’s representatives in Congress have rejected DACA-like legislation, the so-called Dream Act, 24 times since 2001. I would calm everybody down. There is no need to deal with this. We’re talking about illegal aliens who are not supposed to be here in the first place. This is amnesty.”

Mexican National Previously Indicted in Two Capital Murders Now Charged in Third Homicide

A Texas grand jury previously indicted a Mexican national for the double capital murder of a couple found in shallow graves last year. The man is now charged in the death of a third person found buried beneath a Fort Worth home.

A Tarrant County grand jury indicted Hector “Cholo” Acosta-Ojeda, 28, on Thursday in relation to the fatal shooting of Triston Ray Algiene, a 34-year-old man who disappeared in early July. His family reported him missing. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that police investigators found Algiene’s body when they located it on October 4. Investigators found his remains buried beneath a repaired section of the foundation of a Fort Worth home.

According to the Star-Telegram, Acosta-Ojeda is a Mexican national reportedly living in the United States on some type of visa.

Nolte: Catastrophic Law Enforcement Failures Abound as MSM Target NRA for Parkland School Massacre

Anyone looking for proof that the disgraced American media could not care less about dead children need only take a few minutes to survey the various national news platforms. While the jaw-dropping list of local and federal law enforcement failures continues to mount, all of our corrupt media’s energy is focused on blaming the completely innocent NRA for Wednesday’s school-shooting massacre.

All the way back in September, the FBI was informed that a YouTube user named Nikolas Cruz was publicly bragging about wanting to become a “professional school shooter.” On Wednesday, a guy named Nikolas Cruz murdered 17 people in a Florida high school.

The FBI admits they received this tip but claims that even though they had the shooter’s real name they could not track him down. Google owns YouTube, and yet we are supposed to believe that the combined resources of Google and the FBI did not develop into a lead?

And here is where the FBI’s excuse becomes paper thin and the failure of local law enforcement even more indefensible…

Alabama House Passes Broadened 'Stand Your Ground' After Florida School Shooting

The Alabama House of Representatives voted 40-16 to expand “Stand Your Ground” the day after the Florida school shooting occurred.

The vote was to broaden the statute to allow defense of life in churches. It was presented as part of an overarching goal of removing weak spots in current law so that citizens can defend themselves when an attacker strikes.

The Seattle Times quoted state Rep. Lynn Greer (R-Rogersville), saying, “You got nuts everywhere just like you had in the high school in Florida yesterday. Occasionally, they show up in a church.”

Democrats opposed the vote to expand Stand Your Ground, with Rep. Chris England (D-Tuscaloosa) describing the pro-self-defense push as “pandering.” He indicated that Alabama “already has a self-defense law” and said broadening it “doesn’t accomplish anything.” Rep. Laura Hall (D-Huntsville) said the expanded law would just encourage people to “shoot first and ask questions later.”

Flashback: Trump Campaigned on Allowing Teachers to Be Armed for Self-Defense

It the wake of the attack on unarmed innocents at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, it is important to remember that President Trump campaigned on allowing teachers to be armed for self-defense.

He first broached the subject after the October 1, 2015, attack on Umpqua Community College (UCC); an attack in which an armed man entered a gun-free campus and killed nine people. Trump responded to the attack by saying, ““I’ll tell you, if you had a couple of the teachers or someone with guns in that room, you would have been a hell of a lot better off.”

Weeks later, during the October 28, 2015, presidential debate, Trump revisited the topic by stressing that gun-free zones actually attract attackers who might avoid campus if they knew their would-be victims could shoot back. He said gun-free zones provide “target practice for sickos.”

Two months later, on October 8, 2016, The Washington Post quoted Trump saying, “I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools.”

Laura Ingraham: Time for Mueller to Interview Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes and Maybe Even Barack Obama

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” host Laura Ingraham gave her take on the indictments handed down by special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe regarding interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Ingraham told viewers the indictments illustrated how Russia was still a threat to the United States despite then-President Barack Obama’s dismissal during the 2012 presidential election. She also said Mueller should interview 2016 Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State John Kerry, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, former Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes and former President Barack Obama as part of his investigation.

Partial transcript as follows:

212 ICE Immigration Arrests in L.A.: 195 Repeat Offenders, More Than Half Serious or Violent Criminals

Eighty-eight percent of the 212 individuals arrested in the Los Angeles area this week for immigration law violations were previously convicted criminals.

Over the course of five days, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation officers and special agents made the arrests and served 122 notices of inspection (NOIs) to businesses in the Los Angeles area of responsibility. This is in addition to notices of inspection issued to 77 businesses in northern California just weeks ago.

One hundred and ninety-five of the 212 arrested included convicted criminals, those who failed to leave the United States after being issued a final order of removal, and those who returned to the U.S. after being removed.

More than 55 percent of those arrested were serious or violent felons or had been convicted on significant or multiple misdemeanors. Their crimes include child sex crimes, weapons charges, and assault.

See something, say something, do nothing

FBI Director Christopher Wray was boasting to senators three days ago that his agency is stuffed with competent, professional people.

"I would say that my experience, now six months in with the FBI, has validated all my prior experiences with the FBI, which is that it is the finest group of professionals and public servants I could hope to work for," he told the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday.

That statement didn't age well.

A day later, a 19-year-old gunman opened fire at his former school in Florida, killing 17. And by Friday, the FBI revealed it had a clear warning that the shooter was a threat, and dropped the ball.

Protocol said the warning should have been transmitted to the FBI Miami Field Office, but that never happened.

"We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received by the [Public Access Line] on January 5," the FBI said. "The information was not provided to the Miami Field Office, and no further investigation was conducted at that time."

Russian indictments prove Trump won fair and square

After 18 months of Russia, Russia, Russia, we finally meet a cast of real Russians. But par for the convoluted course, they were pretending to be Americans.

The indictments obtained by special counsel Robert Mueller on Vladimir Putin’s attempts to create discord in the 2016 election and eventually support Donald Trump are important both for what they say and what they don’t say.

They offer huge victories for Trump — and thus more defeats for Hillary Clinton — but they don’t close the books on everything about 2016.

The very good news for the president is that the indictments are firm in saying that any Americans contacted by the 13 charged Russians, including Trump campaign associates, did not know they were dealing with Russians.

The indictments also state forcefully that despite their social media efforts, which ranged from creative to clumsy, the Russians had no impact on the election results.

FBI should completely shut down: Judicial Watch's Chris Farrell

Judicial Watch Director of Investigations Chris Farrell is calling for the complete abolishment of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) beginning with the resignation of its director, Christopher Wray, after failing to protect American citizens.

The law enforcement agency has come under scrutiny for becoming too politicized in the probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server and the Russian dossier that may have helped authorities obtain FISA warrants to conduct surveillance on Trump campaign officials.

“I would go back 200 years to the U.S. Marshal Service. I would create a new division for investigation and in about 6-8 months, I would shut the FBI down,” Farrell said during an interview on FOX Business “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”

Why Government Schools Are Unsustainable

I have a handful of friends who are teachers. Gathering with them over the weekend and hearing about their experiences was eye-opening.

One of my friends teaches at a traditional public school in an impoverished area. He makes a better than average salary but is completely disenchanted by the experience and plans to quit the profession altogether after this school year. He has raised his students' proficiency rate to 90 percent – a remarkable accomplishment made possible by his dedication and hard work. Yet he receives little support from his principal and barely any backup from the students' parents, and his day is so consumed by paperwork and bureaucratic nonsense that he's overwhelmed, frazzled, and exhausted much of the time.

Another friend teaches at a private Catholic school. Though he teaches almost twice as many classes as the public school teacher I know and earns about half his salary, the private school teacher enjoys his work much more. His principal is supportive, his fellow teachers are enthusiastic, and the parents and students are engaged in the educational process. It's a positive, rewarding workplace environment.

Napoli Shkolnik PLLC Files A Class Action Lawsuit For Love Canal, New York

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - February 16, 2018) - Napoli Shkolnik has filed a class action lawsuit against the City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls Water Board, Occidental Petroleum Corporation (the former Hooker Chemical Corp.), and other defendants, for injuries related to toxic waste released from the Love Canal hazardous waste site.

Love Canal, an area synonymous with hazardous waste and public health impacts, is the site of a toxic waste dump created by Hooker that caused a public health emergency in the late 1970s. Much of the hazardous waste that caused this historic health and environmental crisis remains at the site to this day. The suit alleges that chemicals leaking from the site migrate throughout the area through groundwater, leaky sewer pipes, and through the air, exposing the public to the same chemicals that required a full-scale evacuation of the area almost four decades ago.

Occidental has failed to properly manage and contain its waste to ensure that the public and the environment are protected, and the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls Water Board have failed to stop this hazardous waste from migration through and out of its storm water and sewer systems, resulting in impacts to public health and property.

"It is inexcusable that the City and companies involved have turned a blind eye to the suffering their negligence has caused," said Napoli Shkolnik partner Louise Caro. "The level of suffering the Love Canal community has experienced has had serious, long term and in some cases, permanent consequences," she added.

It’s time to believe tipsters when they warn us about maniacs

The conversation eight years ago was with a man I didn’t know and haven’t seen since. Yet at times like these, I remember what he said as if it were yesterday.

The man is Avi Dichter, a member of the Israeli Knesset and former head of Shin Bet, Israel’s version of the FBI. We were seated beside each other at a dinner in Tel Aviv, and the talk turned to security, especially at airports.

“The problem with you Americans,” I recall Dichter saying, “is that you worry about what people are carrying in their luggage. In Israel, we worry about who the people are.”

Bingo. “Who the people are” is the essence of Israeli security — and what is missing from America’s.

The slaughter in a South Florida school last week is the latest example of how our approach is failing and leading to senseless deaths.

Pennsylvania to require voting machines with paper backup

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf on Friday ordered counties that plan to replace their electronic voting systems to buy machines that leave a paper trail — a safeguard against hacking — but his budget doesn't include any money to fund the replacement of the state's aging, increasingly vulnerable fleet.

The Democrat's administration said the move to require that new systems include a paper backup will increase the security of voting systems and make balloting easier to audit.

"This directive will ensure that the next generation of the commonwealth's voting systems conforms to enhanced standards of resiliency, auditability and security," Acting Secretary of State Robert Torres said in a statement.

The Wolf administration said in a statement later Friday that it's working on a comprehensive overhaul of Pennsylvania's election apparatus, including its voter registration database. Hackers scanned voter registration databases around the nation before the 2016 presidential election.

Obama State Dept. official admits free-flowing exchange of reports with Trump dossier author

An Obama State Department official has acknowledged he had regular contact with the author of the controversial anti-Trump dossier – coming forward in an apparent bid to blunt expected criticism from the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

In a Washington Post column posted late Thursday, Jonathan Winer detailed an extensive exchange of documents with ex-British spy Christopher Steele, a friend of his since 2009.

He said he shared “more than 100 of Steele’s reports with the Russia experts at the State Department” over a period of two years. These weren’t related to American politics – but he would later share information about the Trump dossier with the top levels of the Obama-era State Department.

Free concealed carry classes offered to teachers by Ohio sheriff in wake of Florida shooting

Police officers from across the U.S. have had different responses to last week's deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida. But one sheriff, in particular, has captured attention with his unique offer: free conceal and carry classes.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones in Ohio announced in a tweet Sunday that he would be offering conceal and carry classes free of charge to teachers in the area.

"I am going to offer free concealed and Carry class free 2 teachers. Limited number," Jones posted. "Details coming soon on line. Also training on school shootings."

Students disappointed Harvard's new president is white

Students and faculty at Harvard University are lamenting the fact that their newest university president is white.

Announced last week, Lawrence S. Bacow, an MIT and Harvard-trained attorney, author, and economist, will serve as Harvard’s 29th president. Despite his many qualifications, he doesn’t check the diversity box. Bacow will be Harvard’s 28th white male president.

Certain undergraduates attending Harvard are truly convinced that without a person of color serving as their university president, the university will lose its prominent status. They’ve made the aberrant decision of placing melanin as their arbiter of success.

“A thought that I had earlier was that, in a few years, if the diversity of the incoming class keeps increasing, [a] white president will no longer be representative of the Harvard student body, which is a big issue,” Harvard student Diego Navarrete told the campus newspaper, The Harvard Crimson.

Another student, Sebastian A. Reyes, blatantly laments seeing Bacow become president — not because he feels Bacow’s academic background isn’t on par with that of an Ivy League president, but because Bacow is not a racial minority.

Dear Obama: Happy President's Day Scumbag, Now STFU About Children...

Former POTUS uses Florida school shooting to attack Second Amendment

Dear former President Obama,

Happy President’s Day scumbag! And, how dare you tweet about protecting the children in the wake of the recent tragedy in Florida. That was a new low even for you, and maybe if you really cared about those kids you would have included a donation link to help them instead of just promoting yourself. I bet with 100 million Twitter followers you could have done a lot of good if you would have just taken the 10 seconds to copy and paste the gofundme url.

You know, I used to believe in you, like a lot of Americans did, before we learned how stunningly and completely full of it you are. I’ve been fighting for the human rights of thousands of tortured children throughout the country for years now, and you know how much help I and others have gotten from you? None at all.

Do you realize, the Russians and the Arabs have done more to stop atrocities, like the ones in this video, from continuing to befall American kids than you did in 8 years as president?

So, while your wife was busy paying lip service to “Let’s Move!” All since the last 11 months of your crooked administration when I was arrested by your corrupt FBI for defending a young girl’s life after she was abducted, abused, crippled and nearly killed by your precious Harvard University’s Boston Children’s Hospital:

Minnesota Sets Record For Gun Permit Background Checks

More people are carrying guns than ever before, but the crime rate remains relatively low. WCCO’s Pat Kessler is looking at the numbers, and giving them a Reality Check.

We took a hard look at the numbers, and found: Minnesota has a high rate of gun ownership, and a relatively low rate of violent crime.

Minnesota’s violent crime rate hit a 50-year low in 2016, according to the FBI.

And in 2017, the state set a new record for firearms background checks.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System reports it processed nearly 683,544 checks on gun buyers in 2017. That includes: 473,975 permits, 94,383 handguns and 125,516 long guns.

Minnesota set another 2017 record, too.

Experts: Universities Need to be Transparent About Money Received from Confucius Institutes

American universities hosting Chinese-backed Confucius Institutes need to make public the details of their arrangements, including the amount of money they receive from the organization, according to regional experts.

Though Beijing bills the Confucius Institutes as a center to promote Chinese language education and cultural exchange around the world, there are mounting concerns in the United States that they threaten academic freedom, in part by limiting discussion on issues sensitive to the Chinese government.

"One of the features of the Confucius Institutes that's now aroused the greatest concern is that they in many cases involved secret covenants between funders and the host institutions, or universities, that were not made public," Aaron Friedberg, a professor of politics and international affairs at Princeton University, told the House Armed Services Committee on Thursday.

More than 100 Confucius Institutes have opened at American universities in the past 13 years, but little is known about the nature of those agreements and the dollar-amounts invested in U.S. college campuses. Public universities have faced severe funding cuts over the past decade, making it attractive for cash-strapped institutes to outsource Chinese classes or programs to Confucius Institutes footing the bill.

Rep. Joe Wilson (R., S.C.) likened the project to a "propaganda operation."

Soros’s Son Donated $650,000 to Democratic Committees and Campaigns Last Year

The son of liberal billionaire financier George Soros donated $650,000 to Democratic campaigns and committees last year, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Alexander Soros, Soros's son and managing partner of Soros Brothers Investments, has quietly stepped up as a major liberal donor but has remained relatively obscure due to his father garnering much of the media attention in the family.

Alex's generous contributions spanned across a number of liberal party committees and campaigns, including two donations totaling $203,400 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's (DCCC) recount and building funds, while providing an additional $33,900 to the committee during the primary period.

Alex also gave large amounts to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). Like his contributions to the DCCC, Soros gave the DSCC $203,400 for its recount and headquarters account, with another $33,900 going towards the primaries.

"Now, The Reckoning Comes" - The Media-Created Russia-Collusion Story Collapses

The press has played an active role in the Trump-Russia collusion story since its inception. It helped birth it...

Half the country wants to know why the press won’t cover the growing scandal now implicating the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice, and threatening to reach the State Department, Central Intelligence Agency, and perhaps even the Obama White House.

After all, the release last week of a less-redacted version of Sens. Charles Grassley and Lindsey Graham’s January 4 letter showed that the FBI secured a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to search the communications of a Trump campaign adviser based on a piece of opposition research paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The Fourth Amendment rights of an American citizen were violated to allow one political party to spy on another.

Rock continued, explaining that “real equality” would include “white mothers” crying about their dead children.

NLRB rejects complaint by Google worker fired for diversity memo

The National Labor Relations Board rejected a complaint by the Google engineer who was fired last year for writing a controversial critique of the tech giant's diversity policy.

The federal labor enforcement agency said James Damore's memo was not protected speech as Damore claimed but rather constituted sexual harassment, so the company was right to fire him.

"The charging party’s use of stereotypes based on purported biological differences between women and men should not be treated differently than the types of conduct the board found unprotected in these cases," wrote NLRB Associate General Counsel Jayme Sophir in a Jan. 16 advice memo recently made public. Sophir said the memo's statements were "discriminatory and constituted sexual harassment, notwithstanding effort to cloak comments with 'scientific' references and analysis, and notwithstanding 'not all women' disclaimers."

On Jan. 23, the board officially agreed with Sophir's conclusions.

Little-known Black History Fact

The diverse history of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

While Jewish and African American communities have a tumultuous shared history when it comes to the pursuit of civil rights, there is a chapter that is often overlooked.

In the 1930s when Jewish academics from Germany and Austria were dismissed from their teaching positions, many came to the United States looking for jobs. Due to the Depression, xenophobia and rising anti-Semitism, many found it difficult to find work, but more than 50 found positions at HBCUs in the segregated South.

Originally established to educate freed slaves to read and write, the first of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities was Cheyney University in Pennsylvania, established in 1837. By the time Jewish professors arrived, the number of HBCUs had grown to 78.

At a time when both Jews and African Americans were persecuted, Jewish professors in the Black colleges found the environment comfortable and accepting, often creating special programs to provide opportunities to engage Blacks and whites in meaningful conversation, often for the first time.

Tim Scott: The system to prevent mass shootings is in place, it just needs to be followed

Sen. Tim Scott said he wants to make sure the systems in place to prevent mass shootings work better after 17 people died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Wednesday.

The South Carolina Republican said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday that several terrible shootings — in Charleston, S.C.; Sutherland Springs, Texas; and the most recent tragedy — could have all been prevented if the system worked.

“I want to make sure that we can solve that problem. When you look at the core components that are missing, it seems to be the system, when the system has not done the right job. In Charleston, the background check could have prevented that person … from getting a weapon,” he said.

He added, “We all say if you see something, say something. And Parkland community, we saw people reporting, there were 20 calls to the sheriff's department, they responded. The FBI received legitimate, credible tip and it was not followed up upon. What we have seen in three major atrocities is that the system that was in place simply was not followed.”

Scott is a co-sponsor on legislation to strengthen the nation’s instant background check system.

It's the Culture, Not the Guns

Last Wednesday, Andrew Pollack was photographed while searching for his daughter, Meadow, who was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Tragically, he learned Meadow was one of the 17 murder victims.

A parent’s worst nightmare, eliciting an avalanche of sympathy? No, Pollack was shown wearing a “Trump 2020” T-shirt. Apparently nothing else mattered.

“He’s a pro-Trump guy which means he supports the guy who is responsible for the death of his child!!” tweeted iMO@_sheateher. “I don’t feel sorry for him and f—k trump,” stated Walterlee@eastsidedogg. “Maybe he should have thought twice before voting for #TerroristTrump,” added #TrumpforPrison@SolRyaz.

These twisted souls were hardly an anomaly. Trump is “obviously mentally ill,” according to TV host Jimmy Kimmel, who joined a chorus of other hate-filled leftists promoting pure propaganda.

Leftists also pushed a bogus assertion by Everytown for Gun Safety, Michael Bloomberg’s rabidly anti-gun group, stating the Parkland mass murder was the 18th shooting on a school campus in America since the start of this year. Even The Washington Post was forced to concede that was “flat wrong,” because it included instances such as a man shooting a BB gun at a bus window, a student in a criminal justice club accidentally shooting a peace officer’s real gun instead of a training gun at a target on a classroom wall, and gunshots that were fired from somewhere outside of Cal State San Bernardino, all of which resulted in no injuries.

As always, leftists want to restrict the entire conversation to gun control. And as always, none of them can name a single new law that would prevent a tragedy like this.

What might? Ramping down leftist hate. Ever since the election, those who profess to own the franchise on tolerance have not only been utterly deranged, but increasingly proud of being so.

Here’s a Guy Who Might Know How the FBI Clinton Email Probe Was Sabotaged

On Oct. 13, 2015, Sen. Bernie Sanders graciously stole the show at a Democratic presidential debate, when he exclaimed to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that “the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails.”

At that moment, certain State Department officials and FBI agents must have concluded a fix was in. The Vermont independent socialist senator could not possibly have reached an informed conclusion — so he was either in the dark, or in the tank.

Well before the debates began, these government officials knew that crucial evidence suggested Clinton mishandled vast amounts of classified government information and had done so repeatedly, from Jan. 21, 2009, through Dec. 5, 2014, if not afterward.

They knew because the Inspector General (IG) of the intelligence community issued a July 6, 2015, report, triggering a full-scale FBI investigation that opened four days later. The subject was mishandling of classified information, and the targets included Hillary Clinton and her key aides.

Somebody might have crucial details. FBI veteran John Giacalone served as executive assistant director of the FBI from June 2014 through February 2016, working from the Washington, D.C., headquarters. Giacalone was also centrally involved in the FBI investigation into Clinton’s mishandling of classified information — a serious felony crime — and he resigned suddenly, for reasons not yet fully understood.

Rush: 'Hillary Isn’t Charged Because...Obama Would Have to Be Exposed'

Speaking with host Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, radio pundit Rush Limbaugh said the real reason the liberal politicians and media won’t stop accusing President Donald Trump of colluding with Russia is that they want to protect Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Now that the dubious methods and motives behind the warrant used to spy on the campaign are being exposed, the left is desperate to distract the public from, and cloak any culpability and knowledge of misdeeds by Clinton and Obama, Limbaugh said:

“I think this is all politics and, Chris, it hasn’t changed from the get-go. It is about protecting Hillary – and Obama.

“Obama is the primary person being protected, because all of this spying and all of the collusion to destroy Trump happened with his knowledge and, probably, encouragement.

“And the reason Hillary isn’t charged is because that would mean Obama would have to be exposed as participating in this scheme, too.”

In less than a week since they survived a mass murdering gunman attack on their school, two student who quickly became media stars of the Parkland, Florida school shootings are now media obsessed to the point they say they are snubbing an invitation to meet with President Donald Trump this Wednesday in favor of appearing on a televised town hall with CNN’s Jake Tapper. […]

“I think it’s disgusting, personally. My father’s a retired FBI agent and the FBI are some of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen in my life,” proclaimed David Hogg to CNN.

“It’s wrong that the president is blaming them for this.”

Continuing, Hogg demonstrated his complete lack of American civics knowledge. A clueless Hogg appeared unaware of the fact that the President is not ‘in control’ of each department and branch of government, but must work and negotiate with them. Regardless, Hogg pushed the notion that Trump is in charge of the FBI.

“He can’t put that off on them. He is in charge of them and these people, what they love to do is push this off on bureaucracy and say it’s not them,” he said. “He is in charge of the FBI … the executive branch is supposed to enforce laws and as such, President Trump is in charge of that and the FBI.”

A Plea Reversal From Michael Flynn Could Uncover More Federal Corruption

On Friday, Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an order in United States v. Flynn that, while widely unnoticed, reveals something fascinating: A motion by Michael Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea based on government misconduct is likely in the works.

Just a week ago, and thus before Sullivan quietly directed Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team to provide Flynn’s attorneys “any exculpatory evidence,” Washington Examiner columnist Byron York detailed the oddities of Flynn’s case. The next day, former assistant U.S. attorney and National Review contributing editor Andrew McCarthy connected more of the questionable dots. York added even more details a couple of days later. Together these articles provide the backdrop necessary to understand the significance of Sullivan’s order on Friday.

Florida Sheriff: 911 Not Sufficient, Must Have Concealed Firearm Holders on Campus

Polk County, Florida, Sheriff Grady Judd says schools must be allowed to adopt a system where concealed firearms holders are on campus and can “run to the threat.”

He stressed that 911 is not sufficient because the attacker is already on campus, making his presence known via violence by the time 911 is called.

Judd told Fox News, “The average shooter is finished with his evil deed in two to five minutes… in Broward County it was three minutes. The average police response is plus five minutes. When 911 is called the shooter is on the campus wreaking havoc, that’s too late…We have got to have specially trained people that have concealed firearms that can run to the threat and protect our children.”

Fat cops are weighing down the NYPD

The NYPD is being dragged down by overweight cops — and the brass isn’t doing anything about the ballooning problem, police sources told The Post.

“We really are the world’s largest police department,” said one veteran cop who’s worked in Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Bronx.

“We’re the fattest police department in the country … because we have no requirement to stay in shape.”

Some cops are terrified that their out-of-shape colleagues won’t be able to provide back-up in physically demanding situations — if they don’t keel over from the exertion.

“If you have a 300-pound partner who can’t even run up a flight of stairs. … it’s dangerous for everybody,” one cop said.

FBI & Florida School Shooting -- Fire the FBI Head

Did a preventable massacre go unprevented because of bureaucratic failure?

American government is supposed to look and sound like George Washington. What it actually looks and sounds like is Henry Hill from Goodfellas: bad suit, hand out, intoning the eternal mantra: “F*** you, pay me.”

American government mostly works by interposition, standing between us, the free people at whose sufferance it exists, and the things we want to do. Want to drive a car? “F*** you, pay me.” Own a home? “F*** you, pay me.” Want to build an extension on that home? “F*** you, pay me.” Got a job? “F*** you, pay me.” Business good? “F*** you, pay me.” Business bad? “F*** you, pay me.”

Report: CNN Organizing Anti-Gun Debate In Florida

Prepping participants to recite anti-gun talking points

Laura Loomer reports from Broward County, Florida that CNN is not only organizing a gun control debate town hall, but is allegedly rehearsing the event to coach participants what to say before it’s televised.

“I’m told CNN is in the process of organizing a network hosted town hall about gun control here in Broward County this week,” Loomer tweeted Sunday.

“When your network is a fake news propaganda machine, you get preferential treatment and advance knowledge from lawmakers…”

One guy goes up against the local media where they have hundreds of employees and crushes their numbers, go figure!

Do you all remember years ago when people like Barrie Tilghman used to say they're just waiting for the train wreck to happen? Looks to me it was your train that wrecked, not mine.

Hillary Clinton Exploits Florida Massacre: 'Remember these feelings in November'

Two-time presidential loser calls on followers to politicize tragedy

With other prominent liberals advocating gun control, it was only a matter of time before Hillary Clinton reared her ugly head.

On Friday the Democrat presidential loser and chronic cougher waded into the gun debate by encouraging lawmakers to infringe on the Second Amendment following Wednesday’s school shooting in Florida.

In a lengthy Twitter screed, Clinton claimed “a majority of Americans support common sense gun reform,” while telling her followers to “remember these feelings in November” during mid-term elections.
