Salisbury's Fake Liberalism
By Thornton Crowe
This week has produced a raging story about racism with Congresswoman Frederico Wilson spouting off about a call to a Gold Star family, it provokes us all to, once again, face the Left's racist taunts. Given the subject has taboo tendencies among white people, we often shy away from it but now this verbiage commands a closer look into our own backyard.
Where is the liberals' diversity within our own local government?
Everyone says Mayor Jake Day is a liberal, bent on turning Salisbury a hip diverse place, but is he? If you look at his administration, including his last three hires, all are middle to upper class whites. Is this his version of diversity?
In city and county leadership, we have four non-white council members; however, we seldom hear from them in our local media unless it's a negative story about them. Therefore, we have to ask: do they really have a voice in our local community?
Another example of this diversity-free mentality is the activities leaders seek to promote. Folk music is hardly the entertainment of choice among Hispanic or Black populations, yet we're all in a big hoopla over some proposed festival geared towards whites. Additionally, when you look at 3rd Friday event images and promotions, around 90% of the attendees are white, middle class citizens.
Are we to believe no other racial group in Salisbury has qualified citizens for any local leadership and government positions?
Do we, as a community, lack the racial diversity acceptance in our own personal thinking when we vote almost exclusively for white males whose ideas are from a bygone era of antiquity? Our local wannabe liberals really don't walk their talk or else it would stand to reason, we'd have a lot more diversity on a whole.
Lastly, if politicians are going to make sweeping claims about being progressive or truly liberal, perhaps they should genuinely embrace inclusion and not just act like a bunch of white hipsters, talking in platitudes to swindle votes!

OPEN LETTER TO SHERRIFF MIKE LEWIS
The following letter was written privately by Joshua Miller to the Sheriff Mike Lewis but is being published publicly because its content contributes to our nation’s discussion of these issues.
Dear Sheriff Mike Lewis,
I feel compelled for some reason to address your facebook comments regarding the Baltimore players kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality. You should know before I proceed, that I respect law enforcement, I have been a part of federal law enforcement for my entire career, my family and friends are in law enforcement, and they are always in my prayers. I write this email to you because I am not sure that you understood what you implied throughout your FB post or truly appreciate the history that has brought these players to their knees.
You start your post by calling the players “self-proclaimed underprivileged” black power activist—which is another way of calling them “uppity.” This loaded term carries with it the false assumption that just because these NFL players make more money than most of the people watching them, that they have no reason to speak out about the injustices within their community. Officer, this shows a scary level of ignorance on your part. For the African American community, we always rely on people with a platform to speak for those in our community that do not have a voice. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a middle-class preacher, and the people he marched with did not come from the poor black areas of the South. They were teachers, doctors, lawyers, not exclusively of course, but they were our leaders with a platform. They too were derisively described as uppity. These individuals, just like NFL players today, had it better than most black people, and honestly had it better than some poor whites economically. However, they spoke for the entire community because African Americans share a “linked fate” mindset. This mindset means we always connect the injustice that occurs to one of us– to all of us—because next time it could be us victimized by state-sponsored violence. This linked fate concept crosses class and geographical lines within our community which means a rich black man like Kaepernick on the west coast will be outraged about the killing of Eric Gardner, a poorer black man on the east coast. Its this linked fate mindset that sent Harriet Tubman, one of America’s greatest heroes, back to the south to rescue slaves. It’s a basic recognition that an injustice against someone’s else son today could be an injustice against my daughters tomorrow. Sir, whether you are aware of it or not, this “uppity” reference is racist and beneath the dignity of the office you hold.
You also mentioned the fact that the Baltimore homicide rate is very high and described it in graphic terms. But this reference to the Baltimore homicide rate has several false assumptions, ignores historical context and is part of a long line of racial justification for the mistreatment of African Americans. It ignores the fact that black people in this country endured 244 years of slavery, followed by 78 years of segregation and being lynched, followed by a brief period of civil rights laws that were followed by 32 years of mass incarceration and being redlined into ghettos. This makes up almost the entirety of African American history in this nation. In between that time, the government waged war on drugs in the black community which is noticeably different than how the government is now handling our nation’s drug problems today in our rural areas. This means that the government responded to the issues affecting black people, a group that has suffered historic oppression, with swat teams, while responding to issues affecting rural communities with social and healthcare workers. I say all that to remind you that black people did not pick themselves up from Africa, drop themselves off in ghettos and start killing each other. The problems that you highlighted in our community, such as homicides and violence, is tied directly to the how the state and federal government responded to the crisis of unemployment and drug addictions in our community. This means any protest against the police is not directed at the brave individual police officers that risk their lives for us every day. These protests are against an unjust system in which the police is continuously used as a pawn to carry out historically unfair practices.
But your comment about the Baltimore homicide rate has a more serious problem and that is—it is an implicit justification for police brutality against black people. Since the 1660s when slavery was racialized, there has always been attempt to justify the mistreatment of black people by explicitly and implicitly endorsing the idea of their inherent or cultural propensity for violence. When over 3,000 African Americans were lynched and shot and burned to death in post-reconstruction, it was all justified by the idea that blacks are dangerous even to their own. This ideology is the very definition of racism because we do not ask white males to carry the burden of crimes committed by other white males. So when you bring up the homicide rate as a response to the protest against police brutality, you are saying that all black people, like Philando Castille, deserve whatever happens because some black people commit crimes.

A Viewer Writes: Stolen Pit Bull Story
Hi Joe,
Well here's my story, Ill try not to be long. So back in January of this year I went to feed my dog Prince and realized that he was not on his chain. The weird part about it is, the chain was not broken and only one collar was left connected to the chain. There were no holes dug in my yard and my dog cannot jump my double fence. He wears 2 collars because he is a big healthy dog and the way I had them around his neck he could not break the collars, someone would have to take them off of him. When he was found he only had on collar on him. So as any pet owner would do I got into my car with my older children and searched my neighborhood for him. I even asked neighbors if they had saw him running loose....Nothing. So after a day of him not returning I contacted animal control and the Humane Society just in case one of them ran across him. Later that day I was notified by my friend that she had seen my dog on a Facebook Lost and found pet site. So I went to that site and contacted the person (Danielle Blanchard) who had him to let her know that I was the owner of my Prince. I left my number and told her she could call me to set up a meeting to return him. 3 days went by and I didn't hear anything from Danielle. So I went to Danielle's personal Facebook page and found out that she worked at Pohanka Hyundai and I went up there personally to let her know I wanted my dog back. I asked her if she found him and did she have him and she said Yes. So I said well can you call whoever has him so I can go and pick him up. She says no I cant. I said why I'm not understanding. She said well I took him for a walk and he ran away from me and I couldn't catch up to him. I said in the earlier part of our conversation you said you had him and now you're telling me he got away from you. She said yes, hes a big strong dog you know that. I just couldn't hold him. So I left and called the Humane Society and animal control again and still no signs of him. I informed animal control about Danielle and they assisted me in trying to get him back. Danielle told the Animal Control Officer that she no longer had him. So after a couple of days Animal Control gave Danielle the option to either return him or be taken to court for theft.Danielle then told the Animal Control Officer that she re-homed him. She was asked if she could get him back and she said yes. So a few days later I was contacted by ACO saying that Danielle stated that the person who has my Prince neutered him. I told ACO that I didn't care about that I just wanted him returned to me. So a few more days went by and Danielle stated that she did not want yo return my dog to me. So a criminal case was brought up against her and she was found guilty of theft. The judge ordered her to return my dog to animal control herself or give ACO the name of the person who had him and she would not be sentenced. Danielle complied with the judges order and gave ACO the name of the person who has my dog (Alana Mcgeehan). So that same day ACO went to Alanas residence to get my Prince and she refused to give him to ACOs. The very next day after Danielles trial I'm served with papers from Alana McGeehan, She is taking me to court hoping that the court gives her ownership of my dog. Her defense is that I was abusing my dog and other crap. If she felt this way then why not take me to court way back in January when Danielle gave her my dog or better yet why didnt she report me to the authorities for animal abuse. I've went to the states Attorney since they represented me in Danielle's case for help and they said they will look into it and get back with me. I've followed up with them and they are still telling me that they are working on it. The District Court judge who presided over the hearing changed his story and he doesn't want to help. I even went to the police chief for help and she said she couldn't do anything without a court order. I asked her none of her officers could assist me and go over there and get my dog back and she said no. The states attorney and the police chief will not bring charges of theft up against Alana McGeehan HOWEVER I was told that if I went over to Alanas residence myself to retrieve MY PROPERTY that I would be arrested and charged with multiple charges . So we have 3 law officials who know that this woman has my dog and nobody will step in and help me solve this matter. I have been very patient thru this whole process. I'm mentally and emotionally distressed and at this point I'm getting very angry. My kids are also being affected by this whole thing. I raised Prince from birth with my kids and it is beyond me why a person thinks they have rights to my dog because it was given to them. Throughout Alanas petition she indirectly states she knows she is not the owner however if she were to be ordered to give him back she wants her lawyer fees paid and me to reimburse her for every dollar that she has spent on my dog. What person in their right mind would want someone to reimburse them for their own voluntary actions. No one told her to keep my dog and no one told her to provide services to him. If she had given him back then she wouldn't have spent any money on him. I tried to obtain counsel but nobody wants to take my case because each lawyer I talked to stated that since my ownership was determined in District Court they would not feel humane to take my money for this case. I have been doing all of this on my own and Alanas attorney is continuing to harass me with petition after petition. This is really outrageous and I'm very disappointed in the justice system because i feel like they are not standing up to their oath. I feel like they said F-bomb me and my family. Yes this case may be abut a dog, but my dog is like a child to me. And then law officials wonder why people don't want to cooperate with them and give them a hard time. This is clearly theft or dog napping but I'm not gonna give up on my dog.

Someone Tipped Me Off On This Daily Times Opinion Piece
Neither the flag, nor the republic for which it stands, is sacred
Humans have spent a great deal of time over the last few thousand years bowing before various objects endowed with sacred meaning — oak trees, clay fertility figurines, golden calves and the like.
Few people in this country spend much time face-down in front of holy objects anymore, but common attitudes toward flag and country call to mind that kind of worship. It can be difficult to tell where respect ends and veneration begins.
A good example is the uproar over athletes protesting during the national anthem. People say the athletes are disrespecting the flag and what it represents, but their fury at the athletes is almost religious in fervor. Maybe the word they’re searching for is “sacrilege,” not “disrespect.”
But the flag is not a sacred or holy totem, nor is the national anthem a religious ceremony, and I believe we’d do well to steer clear of treating them that way.
The sacred is above criticism from mere mortals. But neither our flag nor the nation it stands for fit comfortably into that category.
What does Old Glory represent? For many of us, it represents a place of freedom and stability, a nation to be grateful for. If you are European, it represents liberation and friendship and a place of opportunity, or at least it used to.
But if you are a Native American, the flag represents destruction of your culture. If you are Mexican, it represents the conquest of much of your country’s territory. If you are Iraqi, it represents occupation.

It is so darn sad that Salisbury has gotten to the point that we don't get upset when a shooting occurs. That's what happens when there is shootings so frequently.
It is so darn sad that Salisbury has gotten to the point that we don't get upset when a shooting occurs. That's what happens when there is shootings so frequently.
Publishers Notes: It truly is sad and I couldn't agree more with you. First we learn this morning the Chief of Police has her home up for sale, yet there's no explanation. It's easy to assume, (especially in this depressed market) that she has had enough, and why shouldn't she. She has failed to protect citizens AND visitors in Salisbury. Women are being raped at an alarming rate, she denies it and so does your Mayor.
When you elect people with absolutely no wisdom and or experience, this is what you get. The more they throw people into the election ring, simply because they need to take numbers away from another candidate, things fall apart. Does anyone remember when they kept throwing in candidates against Shanie Shields, just to assure she'd get more votes. Then there was a tie in votes, not once but twice! HELLO IDIOTS! Jim Ireton said and did everything he could to make sure he would NOT get elected, yet he got the majority of votes and after a year of campaigning I never once had a door slammed in my face. No sore loser here, trust me. I'm just not a stupid man.
Salisbury is corrupt. People are dying, raped, home invasions, physically getting assaulted to the point they have to get plastic surgery. Kids are constantly in lock down and parents are scared to death. Your local media covers almost EVERYTHING up and guess what, Joe Albero is the Anti Christ for exposing the TRUTH.
You people need to wake the hell up. Duncan needs to go, NOW! Mayor Jake Day doesn't DESERVE any pay raise, period. His child daycare of 3rd floor employees need to be replaced immediately and you need a Council that can and will stand up for the Salisbury taxpayers.
ANYONE connected with any of the people mentioned above who wants to run for County Executive, ignore them like the plague. The day you have TWO local leaders agreeing and colluding with each other is the very day Wicomico County dies. You mark my words, it's time for immediate change.
Oh, and the crap these Liberal spew about threatening people with, if you don't like it, you run for office. Been there, done that. Demand paper ballots and get it right this time.

This piss-poor example of an employee needs to be fired. Unfortunately, due to there being only one paid subscriber to this company on my street, every Friday, this “crew” does a “6-point” turn destroying the street after which point the driver or passenger usually hop out, smoke a cigarette, talk on the phone, or piss in the middle of the freakin’ street. What a piece of trash. You are getting paid on someone else’s gas and you are too lazy to stop off at any convenience store on your route to take a piss. My dog and kid stood at the window watching you, “Look Daddy, a dump truck!” No honey, “Look a piece of trash, pissing in the street in front of our home.” Sadly, management will side with the employee on this one and my kid and I will have to detour around the puddle of piss during our bike ride today. I have a concern for Wicomico county. I see teens roaming the streets, from age maybe 13 to 16 are the ones I am concerned for. I would think police would pick them up and call their parents. There is so much going on out there, it scares me to death. That being said I know police have a lot to deal with, I was wondering what others think about this.

Joe- Here's a good question for WBOC, SPD, States Attorney Office
I find it strange that WBOC covered the other night a good story on the Opioid Epidemic in Salisbury. But on the heals of that story we are facing what is going to be a catastrophic event in Salisbury the opening of a Medical(?) Marijuana Outlet on Snow Hill Rd next to Dr McGee's Animal Hospital! Why does not WBOC, the Salisbury Police and the States Attorney Office see this as a disaster in one of the most drug infested neighborhoods in all of Salisbury. They are openly talking about having their prescriptions ready and how much easier it is going to be for them to get high!! If you look at the crime maps furnished by the SPD this is the hottest area for crime and drugs in all of Salisbury! Where is the logic is it a way of making the whole city under slum lord control, or that the city will be forced to be torn down, one block at a time for people like Fake Jake to build what? There is a plan rather anyone believes it or not to eradicate this city for some scheme, those on the City Council and Jake know what it is, he has often mentioned making along the river more like the Inner Harbor in Baltimore is that it? Higher real estate values, more $ in their pockets and tons of selfies for those that change the look of the city.
My question is what is to become of the citizens in this area who own their homes and cannot get half of what they paid for it. We can do nothing but see the crime get worse every month, their is no safety in your own homes, our streets and our yards. You have tried to make us all tear down such things as the chain link fences and other fences that is all of what's left to protect us. I just ask that for once you have a real meeting to put us first for a change, see us as families and people who have worked hard all our life just to live in peace and live out our days. May you reconsider the choices you are making and where you are making them, come out and meet us the people you have forgotten.

Is Jack Heath A Graduate Of UMES?
When you decide to run for County Executive and put your resume out there claiming you were a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you might want to make sure your grammatical and spelling is accurate first. What's with all the acronyms? What's with all the improper capitalization and grammar? The list goes on and on. Idiot!
Ladies & Gentlemen, this guy is simply a pawn for Mayor Jake Day and you can expect several more names to pop up before the election. Their intent is to take as many votes away from Bob Culver as possible. Why, because it's a GAME to these Good Ol' Boys / Liberals. It's not what's in your best interest, unless you are into higher taxes, gay marriage and stuff like that.
Salisbury Mayor Jake Day DESPERATE To Get ANYONE To Run For Wicomico County Executive
The local Liberal Party is so desperate to get a PARTNER in Wicomico County they begged City Council Member Jack Heath, (an Independent) to run for County Executive. Talk about total desperation! In the near future we will be publishing more detailed information about this joke of a candidate who actually must get 700 signatures on a petition just so he can run for this position. Bozo The Clown, (Jack Heath) put your seat belt on because SBYNews is about to deliver your very own information that will absolutely prove you have ZERO qualifications AND we will also expose just how desperate Jake Day is to stack the deck with as many candidates as humanly possible to run for Executive in the hope of taking votes away from Bob Culver. It's all a numbers game Folks. You've been fooled way too many times and your local media has helped participate in the charade.

Rosie O’Donnell Is Worried Whether Or Not She’ll Live Through Trump’s Presidency
Rosie O’Donnell is legit batcrap, y’all.
And she’s now concerned that she’s not going to live through the rest of Trump’s (first term?) presidency. She’s saying this out loud. This is actually happening in real life.
She told W Magazine that after Trump was elected, like many other snowflake liberals (who are consequently screaming at the sky next month):
The longtime Trump critic told W Magazine she was in “severe shock” when Trump won and went through “a lot of therapy.”
“I was in pure unadulterated [shock], as if I had fallen through the ice on a lake; I was underneath the water, and I couldn’t even see the surface,” O’Donnell told the mag. “It was a severe shock to my entire essence and my beliefs in the order in the world, and also the PTSD of having been an abused kid in a family.”
She added, “I did a lot of therapy.”
Ummm, news flash, lady. Time to switch therapists. It isn’t working. And ask for some stronger medication. Because damn.

Inspirational Rocks In Princess Anne
Really, Seriously?
This morning on WBOC I watched a story about how they sent a reporter, (if you want to call them that) to Princess Anne at 5:00 AM to cover a story about how you might find a ROCK around town with the intent of a child picking it up, bringing it home so you can, (as a family) talk about heroin addiction. WHAT?
Freaking Snowflakes! It's now spread from Da Bury to Princess Anne. HOW in the hell can you expect picking up a rock to turn into a kid wanting to openly talk about heroin addiction. I'm sorry but you people here on the Shore who believe these tactics will work are just plain STUPID for so many reasons. And as a REWARD for being stupid you can actually take one of these rocks into the Police Department where they will give you a free tee shirt, proving you are one of the idiots who found a rock. Hey Billybob, look e their. Tawanda gots one of dem dare rock tee shirts. Mine said don't throw your life away so I threw it through a window at UMES.
By the way, did you know about 1,200 people are without POWER in Hawaii. Yeah, I learned that this morning on one of those vital WBOC's broadcasts. I just don't know how I would've survived my day without knowing this information. UGH! Gotta get me one of those brass bullet hoses because everyone needs a hose that's bullet proof.
By the way, did you know WBOC hates President Donald Trump?
City Receives $350,000 Grant from DOJ’s Office on Violence Against Women
Partnership with Life Crisis Center and Telamon Maryland & Delaware Inc. will use grant to fund transitional housing, counseling for victims of domestic violence
Salisbury, MD – The City of Salisbury is pleased to announce the receipt of a grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence against Women. In conjunction with the Life Crisis Center and Telamon Corporation, the $350,000 award will create a transitional housing program for women actively fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating abuse, or stalking.
“Securing safe and affordable housing is a critical first step for many women fleeing an abusive relationship,” says Theo Williams, Housing & Homelessness Manager. “Unfortunately, abusers frequently use housing and a lack of income as a means of control to ensure that their victims can’t leave. This grant fund addresses this critical problem by giving women the safety and security to leave their abusers knowing that they will have a place to live.”
The funding, which will be distributed over three years, will enable the Life Crisis Center to hire a housing specialist, in addition to providing short-term rental funding for up to 9 households, annually. Women in the program will also be offered free enrollment in Telamon Corporation’s highly successful Food and Safety Training program, a 14-week intensive course that enables participants to receive a ServSafe certification. The City will also partner with the Life Crisis Center to create a single-family transitional house that may become homeowner-occupied.
“What a terrific way to celebrate Domestic Violence Awareness month,” said Life Crisis Center Director, Abigail Marsh. “Life Crisis Center is committed to helping victims become survivors. We are thrilled to be partnering with the City of Salisbury and Telamon to provide additional support to victims of domestic violence in our community."

Professor Claims Math, Algebra And Geometry Promote ‘White Privilege’
A University of Illinois math professor believes that algebra and geometry perpetuate “white privilege” because Greek terms give Caucasians unearned credit for the subject.
But that isn’t the professor’s only complaint. She also believes that evaluations for math proficiency perpetuates discrimination against minority students, if they do worse than their white counterparts.
Rochelle Gutierrez argues in a newly published math education book for teachers that they must be aware of the identity politics surrounding the subject of mathematics.
“On many levels, mathematics itself operates as Whiteness,” she argues with complete sincerity, according to Campus Reform. “Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White.”

Racist graffiti at Eastern Michigan University another hoax
Michigan State Police, the FBI, local law enforcement and Eastern Michigan University officials have determined that a series of racist graffiti messages left on school property in late 2016 and early this year were the result of a hoax.
Candlelight vigils, protests, and more than 1,080 campus security hours were spent over the past year in Ypsilanti on racial slurs at Eastern Michigan University. The former student who was arrested and charged, however, is 29-year-old Eddie Curlin — a minority.
Mr. Curlin was arraigned in Washtenaw County District Court on Oct. 23 for incidents in September 2016, October 2016, and early 2017. He was charged with malicious destruction of property, identity theft and using computers to commit a crime.
“To know that it was a person of color is hurtful,” said a black student named Jaiquae Rodwell, The Washington Post reported Tuesday. “As a black student, to know that another black person is using the n-word in a negative way is embarrassing.”

Even though offering massive tax cuts and other benefits to attract corporate headquarters doesn’t always work out, that hasn’t stopped a lot of cities and regions from officially filing requests with Amazon to be considered for the company’s planned second headquarters. If you’re anywhere near any sort of population center, there’s a good chance your city council has put its name into the Amazon HQ hat.

Jesse Jackson: Going From Picking Cotton Balls to Picking Footballs and Basketballs Without Freedom Is Not Much Progress
Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed” brought civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson on to discuss the National Anthem protests in the NFL.
Jackson bashed Trump for referring to the anthem kneelers as “sons of b******,” and then took aim at the NFL.
“To go from picking cotton balls to picking footballs and basketballs without freedom is not very much progress,” Jackson said Monday.
Jackson said the NFL not guaranteeing full contracts and allowing owners to cut National Anthem protesters without having to pay out the full contract, unlike in MLB and the NBA, is “workplace harassment” and “illegal.”

VERIZON FiOS REFUSES TO ACCEPT WBOC’S EFFORTS TO RESTORE SERVICE
SALISBURY, Md.- WBOC has repeatedly reached out to officials at Verizon FiOS urging them to restore WBOC-TV, FOX21 and Antenna TV to their lineup. Unfortunately, Verizon continues to make unreasonable demands as a condition of restoring service. As a result, Verizon FiOS customers continue to pay for channels they no longer receive.
Verizon FiOS suddenly dropped WBOC-TV, FOX 21 and Antenna TV from its channel lineup on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 after six months of negotiating failed to result in an agreement for carriage.
“We have bent over backwards and made extremely reasonable offers as a means of moving forward,” says Craig Jahelka, president of Draper Media. “However, Verizon insists on getting a sweetheart deal compared to other companies. Verizon wants to take our free over-the-air programming and resell it at a substantial profit without fairly compensating us. At the same time, Verizon continues to charge its viewers the same rates they paid when Verizon did carry our stations. As a result, Verizon FiOS customers are paying for channels Verizon refuses to deliver.”
Verizon continues to make preposterous false claims that locally-owned WBOC is demanding unreasonable rate increases.
“However, during the time Verizon has blacked out our channels and lied to its customers about us, we’ve reached long-term agreements to continue delivery of our stations with other, larger providers here on Delmarva who recognize the value of our stations,” says Jahelka.
Verizon, the New York-based owner of Verizon FiOS, reported operating profit of nearly 27 BILLION dollars last year. This global giant wants to paint a local family-owned company here on Delmarva as the bad guy in this situation.
“They have a massive public relations department, unlimited financial resources and a team of lawyers all bullying us while demonstrating they truly don’t care about their customers here on Delmarva,” says Jahelka. That’s why he’s urging Verizon FiOS customers to call that company at1-800-837-4966 and demand it bring back WBOC-TV, FOX21 and WBOC Classics. Customers can also drop Verizon and subscribe to another company that does carry our stations, which are also broadcast free over-the-air.
According to Nielsen Media Research, WBOC-TV and FOX21 are the most-watched channels on Verizon’s lineup. Yet Verizon won’t return those channels to its system. Verizon dropped WBOC-TV, FOX21 and Antenna TV three weeks ago with no advance warning. Since then Verizon customers have been unable to watch CBS or FOX network programming, professional football or WBOC’s award winning local news and local programming live on FiOS.
Draper Media comprises WBOC-TV, FOX21, WBOC Classics, Telemundo 42, and 102.5 WBOC-FM. Draper Media is locally-owned and operated by Draper Holdings.
91 Year Old Scared Off Home Intruder … By Flashing A Lil’ Granny Skin
91-year-old Patricia woke up when she heard her pup barking….
She figured a raccoon had gotten in… so she got out of bed to shoo it off.
But Patricia sleeps in the nude… and a home intruder got a whole lot more than he bargained for.
A 91-year-old woman has praised her dog for helping her chase off a burglar after she confronted him stark naked.
Patricia Mulkeen was alerted to the intruder early on Tuesday morning when her 12-year-old Wheaten Terrier, Pepper, began barking.
Believing it to be a raccoon, Patricia grabbed a flashlight and went to see what was happening in her Yarmouth, Massachusetts home – much to the amusement of her husband, Jack.
He added: ‘That’d be enough to make him faint – it’s a shock.’
