Really, Seriously?
This morning on WBOC I watched a story about how they sent a reporter, (if you want to call them that) to Princess Anne at 5:00 AM to cover a story about how you might find a ROCK around town with the intent of a child picking it up, bringing it home so you can, (as a family) talk about heroin addiction. WHAT?
Freaking Snowflakes! It's now spread from Da Bury to Princess Anne. HOW in the hell can you expect picking up a rock to turn into a kid wanting to openly talk about heroin addiction. I'm sorry but you people here on the Shore who believe these tactics will work are just plain STUPID for so many reasons. And as a REWARD for being stupid you can actually take one of these rocks into the Police Department where they will give you a free tee shirt, proving you are one of the idiots who found a rock. Hey Billybob, look e their. Tawanda gots one of dem dare rock tee shirts. Mine said don't throw your life away so I threw it through a window at UMES.
By the way, did you know about 1,200 people are without POWER in Hawaii. Yeah, I learned that this morning on one of those vital WBOC's broadcasts. I just don't know how I would've survived my day without knowing this information. UGH! Gotta get me one of those brass bullet hoses because everyone needs a hose that's bullet proof.
By the way, did you know WBOC hates President Donald Trump?
This has been my opinion all along. Glad somebody had the stones to say it.
ReplyDelete...Saw that ridiculous report this morning...
ReplyDeleteMy first thought is that the only way these rocks will help with the opioid crisis is if you pick one up and bang it upside the head of a drug dealer or user - hard enough to knock some sense into them.
That may work.
Didn't know Hawaii was a neighboring state.
ReplyDelete(sarcasm left ON)
TWO DAYS until TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With millions of people out of power because of recent hurricanes, homes destroyed, I just couldn't believe they brought up the 1,500 people in Hawaii without power.
ReplyDelete7:49 AM ha ha ha, that's what I thought. How the heck is this supposed to help and do people really believe this bs?
ReplyDeletewonder how much the guberment paid them to develop and complete this. that's where your money is going. now you know.
Joe, which part of America without power would be most convenient for you to see on your morning news? I don't think some painted rocks are going to spark much conversation about heroin. Would be much more effective to just talk to your kids like a normal human being. However, it looks like these rocks are already stirring up some conversation. Does that mean it actually did work?
ReplyDelete8:37, How about an update on PR.
ReplyDeleteIt is not the shore folks who come up with this crap. It is the come-heres or the young liberals who have been brainwashed and believe them.
ReplyDelete8:37 AM the only conversation it sparked was its stupidity and questioning on how much money was wasted on this stupidity. Do you consider that a success?
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing as dumb as a bunch of rocks.
ReplyDelete8:44 AM - Spoken like a true uneducated Salisburian. Sorry but it was one of the local-yokels that hatched this nonsense.
ReplyDelete8:44 AM - you born heres will copy anything that comes with the wind because you are not capable of forming an original thought, then when it fails you blame it on others.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Hawaii goes it is probably just a little KARMA against Obama's stupid Judge. As far as the rocks goes, when are parents going to be parents again and teach their children about the bad things in life? The only reason the Liberals are going after the youth is because they can still be manipulated and brainwashed. Look at Antifa, BLM, etc. These young kids that knows absolutely nothing about the world because a lot of parents just don't care anymore. They push them through school, then college and that little piece of paper means absolutely nothing because they have no common sense.
ReplyDeleteThis rock painting crap is about the most stupid thing I've witnessed in a long time. And yes, I'm sorry people in Hawaii are without power but people in Puerto Rico, Texas and North Carolina are without everything including power, so how about an update on all of them.
ReplyDeleteDon't see any White ones ....That's Not Politically Correct &
ReplyDeleteRacist !!!
Always knew they had alot of rocks " Rock Heads " !!
ReplyDeleteObviously none of you have an education in child & youth development. The rocks certainly are conversation starters. I'm glad they thought of that. However, the parents are the ones that need to be trained on how to appropriately talk with their children. Most parents don't even respect their children enough to talk with them - especially not listen to them.
ReplyDeleteBy the way...the kindness rocks are not exclusive to SBY or the Shore. We were just one of the last to know about this movement. Just like most things. Slower Shore has its positives but the small-minded people is the number 1 negative.
Here is what my Rock would say...
ReplyDeleteDon't play or you'll pay.
BLM will be using those rocks for there up coming riots.
ReplyDelete9:46 AM Dear, you must not know about "pet rocks". Google it.
ReplyDeleteWBOC is completely irrelevant. When will Comcast drop them, too. Not like it would be a huge loss for the community.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I find rocks that are left around town, no matter what is on them, I throw them in the trash.
ReplyDeleteHeroin?! I only pick up rocks to learn about crack.
