Alberto-Burgos is suspected to have participated in the 1997 murder of his ex-girlfriend, whose remains were found on a Barcelona highway. 

Federal grand jury indicts Dallas attorney and his assistant for running marriage fraud scheme

Specifically, the indictment charges Bilal Ahmed Khaleeq, 47, and Amna Cheema, 37, with one count each of conspiracy to commit marriage fraud.  If convicted, the count charged in the indictment carries a maximum statutory penalty of five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

National Enquirer: Hillary Clinton framed Trump on Russia

Hillary Clinton and a firm with ties to the Democratic party setup President Donald Trump and his family in an attempt to destroy the billionaire businessman and politician according to the National Enquirer.

The tabloid magazine, which has made no secret of its pro-Trump agenda, came to this conclusion after what they describe as an 'exhaustive investigation' into the matter.

These attempts by 'evil' Hillary to bring down her rival included luring Donald Jr. into meeting with shadowy Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskyaya claims the tabloid.

And the firm in the middle of all this is Fusion GPS according to the tabloid, the same group that allegedly compiled Christopher Steele's scandalous dossier of claims about President Trump that was published in January.

Fusion GPS previously denied these claims, stating: 'Fusion GPS learned about this meeting from news reports and had no prior knowledge of it. Any claim that Fusion GPS arranged or facilitated this meeting in any way is absolutely false.'

Dem Senators Decline To Condemn Women's March

Three prominent Democratic senators declined to withdraw their support for Women’s March after the organization declared support for Assata Shakur, a convicted cop-killer and domestic terrorist on the FBI’s Most Wanted list.

Sens. Kamala Harris, Dianne Feinstein and Kirsten Gillibrand have all been enthusiastic supporters of Women’s March. As reported by The Daily Caller, the organization declared its support over the weekend for Shakur, who fled to Cuba after escaping from the prison where she was serving a life sentence. Shakur, Women’s March said, is a “sign of resistance.”

Women’s March responded to criticisms over the statement by re-affirming their support for Shakur, while claiming to be a “nonviolent movement” that doesn’t necessarily endorse all of Shakur’s actions. (Notably, the group declined to say that anything Shakur did was wrong.)

All three senators have remained silent on Women’s March’s support for a domestic terrorist. TheDC reached out to all three senators’ offices to ask if they would disavow or condemn the organization’s support for Shakur. Despite being given more than 24 hours to do so, all three declined to condemn or disavow Women’s March.

New Poll Says Dems Set Up For Failure In 2018 Midterms

Democrats who want to take control of Congress in the 2018 midterm elections are going to have to face the fact that strong supporters of President Donald Trump are most likely to vote, according to a poll released Wednesday.

A very strong majority of 71 percent of all who “strongly approve” of Trump say they are “absolutely certain” that they will vote in the midterm elections. That’s much higher than Democrats. Only 57 percent of Democrats overall say they plan to vote, according to a poll released by The Washington Post.

It’s not all bad for Democrats. Nearly 52 percent of respondents reported they wanted Democrats to control Congress, compared to only 38 percent of voters who want Republicans to maintain their control of both chambers. Additionally, the president’s party has lost seats in 40 of the past 43 midterm elections, so there’s a historical precedent for Democrats gaining ground.

The Feds Just Expanded Civil Asset Forfeiture 'Laws' Nationwide

When you're a government agency, asking for a tax increase is always a hassle. As Ryan McMaken notes, for the most part, taxpayers don't like taxes, and if asked if they want to pay more, they're likely to often say "no." Moreover, when public officials pass tax increases, they may face the wrath of taxpayers at the ballot box. For this reason, governments are always looking for ways to get revenue without having to use tax revenue.

One such 'hidden' method of seizing wealth from the taxpayers is through what is now called "civil asset forfeiture."

This occurs when a law enforcement agency seizes the assets - including real estate, cars, cash, and other valuables - from private citizens based merely on the suspicion that the person has committed a crime with the assets in question. No due process is necessary. No conviction in a court of law need occur. While it is technically possible to sue a government agency to reclaim one's possessions, this requires immense amounts of time and legal fees to pursue. Needless to say, civil asset forfeiture has become a lucrative source of income for law enforcement agencies. And, over the past 30 years, the practice has become widespread.

As Martin Armstrong detailed, between 1989 and 2010, U.S. attorneys seized an estimated $12.6 billion in asset forfeiture cases. The growth rate during that time averaged +19.4% annually. In 2010 alone, the value of assets seized grew by +52.8% from 2009 and was six times greater than the total for 1989. Then by 2014, that number had ballooned to roughly $4.5 billion for the year, making this 35% of the entire number of assets collected from 1989 to 2010 in a single year. Now, according to the FBI, the total amount of goods stolen by criminals in 2014 burglary offenses suffered an estimated $3.9 billion in property losses.

Boy Suffering From Rare Disease Sworn In As Wildwood Police Officer

WILDWOOD, N.J. (CBS)— A young boy suffering from a rare disease gets to live out his dreams after the Wildwood Police Department swears him in as a honorary police officer.

Ethan Kranig, 9 of Prescott, WI was diagnosed Ectrodactyly Ectodermal Dysplasia and has lost all of his vision in his right eye and over 55% in his left eye! Since birth, he’s had over 31 operations.

Ethan’s mom Natalie is a emergency room nurse and an EMT. She wanted her son to see the sea and put his feet in the ocean. So Natalie planned a trip to the Wildwoods to coincide with a visit to John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for a follow up from some recent surgery.

But an even bigger dream of Ethan’s came true.

Alarming report about U.S. jobs being outsourced

A shocking report stating that one in four American jobs could either be sent overseas or be lost to automation was released on Tuesday from researchers at Muncie, Indiana’s Ball State University.

A paper titled, “How Vulnerable Are American Communities to Automation, Trade and Urbanization?,” predicts the devastating consequences outsourcing and automating are likely to have on the American workforce.

Researchers looked at current data regarding job movement and potential displacement in the U.S. and concluded that “as many as 25 percent of American jobs could be offshored in the years ahead, at risk of replacement by foreign competition. And half of all low-skill jobs could eventually be automated.” This has the potential of affecting millions of Americans.

“We do not wish to be alarmist,” they said, noting that trade and automation-related economic growth are indicative of a vibrant economy. “The findings of direct and indirect impacts of displacement are not homogeneous across populations. The negative long-term impacts of displacement have been found to be worse for low-skilled, less-educated workers, who are likely to work in more vulnerable jobs.”

New Hampshire Governor Decriminalizes Marijuana Because '[Kids] Try Things'

Gov. Chris Sununu has signed into law a bill eliminating criminal penalties for possession of three-quarters of an ounce or less of marijuana.

It was one of 28 bills the Republican signed Tuesday, his office said in a news release.

House Bill 640 was passed by the Senate in a bipartisan 17-6 vote in May; it sailed through the House, 318-36, on March 8.

At the time, Sununu said he would sign the measure into law, calling it "common sense marijuana reform."

Sen. Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, worked with stakeholders to engineer a compromise which he fought to protect against amendments proposed by decriminalization opponent Sen. Bill Gannon, R-Sandown.

"The reason I am supporting this bill is personal," Bradley said in May. "A lot of us have kids. I do. Every parent knows kids are what we used to be when we were kids. They try things. I don't want my kids facing one strike and you are out, because I've been there."

McCormick to Buy French’s Mustard in $4.2 Billion Deal

LONDON — McCormick & Company will account for more space in American cupboards after agreeing to buy French’s mustard and Frank’s Red Hot sauce in a deal worth $4.2 billion.

The spice maker, which is based in Sparks, Md., near Baltimore, will acquire the food business of Reckitt Benckiser, the British consumer-goods company, and intends to finance the deal through a combination of debt and equity. The business includes the French’s, Frank’s Red Hot and Cattlemen’s brands.

The sale, announced late Tuesday, came after Reckitt Benckiser announced a strategic review in April of its food business.

The acquisition of Frank’s Red Hot, French’s mustard and “other beloved products enables McCormick to become a one-stop shop for condiment, spice and seasoning needs, providing our customers and consumers with an even more diverse and complete flavor product offering,” Lawrence E. Kurzius, the McCormick chairman, president and chief executive, said in a news release.

Seattle Brings Emoji-Based Food Safety Ratings to America

Some cities post letter grades on restaurants. King County opted for something more visual. The person who pushed for public ratings in the first place, though, isn't satisfied.

Walk by a Seattle restaurant today and you might notice a smiley face on the window. The emojis, which started appearing in January, indicate the business' food safety rating.

The scoring system may be the first of its kind in the United States. It rates restaurants on a four-point scale from “needs to improve” to “excellent,” with each category illustrated by an emoji. The higher their health inspection score, the happier the face.

The idea for the emojis builds on a growing movement to post health inspection grades on restaurants. Other large municipalities, such as Los Angeles County and New York City, require signs with letter grades that are visible to customers. The United Kingdom has a similar system for the entire country. The emoji system exists in China, but King County officials believe they're the first in America to use it.

Worcester County Sheriff: Heat Warning/Cooling Centers

Folks, by now, all of us are aware of the high temps that are expected in our area over the next several days. We have a busy weekend ahead with several events in the northern portion of the county. Expect traffic delays on the major routes tomorrow and Saturday. Deputies will be monitoring these events and routes. The County has also opened up cooling stations. Below is a message from 911 Emergency Operations Center. Take precautions in this heat and enjoy the weekend.

With heat indexes forecast to reach 110 degrees through this weekend, Worcester County Emergency Service officials urge residents to exercise caution and check on elderly and infirm neighbors while dealing with the second heat wave of the summer. Air conditioned cooling stations will be open to the public in diverse locations.

Thursday-Saturday, July 20-22, the five branch County Libraries in Berlin, Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Pocomoke, and Snow Hill will be open during standard operating hours. Take precautions to remain safe during extreme heat. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Take frequent breaks from stressful activities to avoid dehydrating and overheating, which can lead to heat stroke or heat exhaustion, as both are life-threatening conditions. Heatstroke, which is characterized by a body temperature greater than 105 degrees, develops quickly and is often accompanied by these symptoms: dry, red skin, convulsions, disorientation, delirium and coma. Heatstroke is treated by rapidly lowering the body temperature by a cool bath or wet towels. A heatstroke victim should be kept in a cool area; emergency medical care should be obtained by dialing 911.

Heat exhaustion is a milder form of heatstroke. Symptoms may include extreme weakness, muscle cramps, nausea, headaches, vomiting, and fainting. Heat exhaustion can be treated by drinking plenty of liquids and resting in a cool, shaded area.

ICE Director: Hundreds Of Immigration Agents Will Deploy To Sanctuary Cities

The head of the U.S. government’s lead immigration enforcement agency said Tuesday that he will devote more resources to arresting criminal aliens in sanctuary cities, focusing attention on interior operations as illegal crossings at the southern border continue falling.

Thomas Homan, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), told the Washington Examiner that the Trump administration has empowered law enforcement to strictly enforce immigration laws, a welcome change from previous administrations he has worked under during his 30-year career as an immigration cop.

“Now they have meaning to their jobs,” Homan said, referring to U.S. Border Patrol and ICE agents. “What this president has done is taken the handcuffs off of law enforcement officers who are charged with enforcing immigration laws.”

IRS Awards Obamacare Premium Tax Credits Without Verifying Citizenship or Lawfully Present Status

The Internal Revenue Service awards Obamacare premium tax credits to individuals without verifying that they are legally present in the United States or checking their citizenship status, according to a Government Accountability Officereport.

When individuals purchase health insurance in the Obamacare marketplace, they may beeligible to receive a refundable credit that helps them cover their premium. In order to qualify, an individual must be a citizen of the United States or lawfully present.

"IRS officials told us that IRS does not perform compliance checks to verify eligibility based on individuals' citizenship or lawful presence status," the auditors said.

The IRS said that instead of performing the check themselves, they rely on the state and federal marketplaces.

"While information that IRS receives from state and federal marketplaces may be effective in determining whether individuals met citizenship and lawful presence requirements for [premium tax credits], it does not address situations when state or federal marketplaces conditionally provided advance [premium tax credits] on behalf of individuals but subsequently terminated advance [premium tax credits] payments because of failure to prove citizenship or lawful presence," the auditors explained.

Pack of MS-13 members choke, kick, stomp, beat, two men with tree limbs at Wheaton park

WHEATON, Md. (ABC7) — Yet another case of unbridled violence at the hands of alleged MS-13 members has made its way into news headlines in Montgomery County.

Around 7 p.m. on June 14, two men were walking in the Wheaton Regional Park, located about two miles northeast of the Westfield Wheaton Mall. As the men approached a public restroom to wash their hands and face, they encountered five Hispanic men giving them sinister stares.

The men did their best to ignore the awkward situation, but the five suspects followed them inside of the otherwise empty bathroom. One victim had his hat knocked off his head. The other victim had his North Face backpack taken.

The five suspects then separated and interrogated the two men, asking if they were affiliated with a certain gang, what country they were born in and what high school they attended.

During the traffic stop, the deputy recovered this loaded 9mm handgun from under the passenger’s seat. That passenger, Mahesh Sharp of Cape Charles, VA was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was charged.

It’s Not about Health Care—It’s about Control

As Congress struggles to do something about the ObamaCare disaster, Senators may be getting calls pleading, “Don’t take my healthcare away!” But the more influential voices will be whispering, “Don’t take my ObamaCare dollars away!”

The American Medical Association (AMA), for example, is urging people to call about “cuts” (constrained growth) to Medicaid.

Let’s get the terminology straight: The government cannot “take away” or “give” you health care. Caring for your health is something you do—or don’t do—yourself. It costs practically nothing; in fact, it saves you money. Nonsmokers save thousands of dollars a year. Walking around the block every day is free—and maybe you’ll meet your neighbor. Healthy foods like fresh fruits and vegetables cost something, but less than Starbucks coffee-flavored milkshakes or fast-food lunches. Being faithful to your spouse pays huge dividends.

You can go to a “healthcare provider,” get counseled on smoking cessation, and have all your bad habits, risk factors, and soon probably your DNA and political views recorded in an electronic data base, accessible to the government and thousands of other entities. They will constantly score you—on your value to society, eligibility to own a self-defense tool, suitability for a loan or a job, and eventually perhaps your qualifications to have a child.

Your health depends on basic necessities not included in the $3 trillion poured into the “health care system” every year. Lacking a place to stay warm and dry, one homeless person lost his feet to frostbite, while Medicaid was paying someone $563 every month just to have him on a list of enrollees. Last year, Nevada Medicaid paid managed-care companies as much as $213 million for more than 30,000 people who received no care at all. Maybe that money was taken from housing or law enforcement..

Unhinged woman smashes partner’s vehicle while children are in it — their reaction is heartbreaking

A New Jersey woman’s unhinged attack on her ex-husband’s vehicle took “unsettling” to another level when the video taken by the ex-husband recorded the couple’s children’s heartbreaking reaction and subsequent injury.

The Paterson, New Jersey, woman was caught on camera Sunday, wielding a hammer and smashing everything on the exterior of her ex-husband’s black Range Rover from the windshield to the headlights.

During the terrifying ordeal, the couple’s children — a young boy and girl — sat in the backseat screaming “Daddy!” in horror as their mother destroyed their father’s car.

In the video, shards and chunks of glass can be seen flying into the vehicle, along with debris and dust.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM.

Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives.

The singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide because he had been abused as a child by an older male.

Trooper Arrest Delaware Woman In Dorchester County Stabbing

(DENTON, MD) – State troopers arrested a Delaware woman in connection with a stabbing in Dorchester County.

The victim is identified as Shanyda Milton, 25, of Hurlock, Maryland. Milton was transported via ambulance by emergency medical personnel to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, where she is being treated for her injuries.

The accused is identified as Shameka Matthews, 26, of Laurel, Delaware. She is charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and malicious destruction of property. She is being held without bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center.

Shortly after 5:00 a.m. this morning, troopers from the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack responded to a home in the 4700 block of Jones Village Road in Hurlock on a report of a domestic situation. Responding troopers found the victim outside the home with multiple stab wounds to her upper body. Police believe the two women involved in the dispute are sisters.

Investigators learned the victim and the accused were engaged in a verbal argument before the altercation turned physical. The preliminary investigation indicates Matthews then retrieved a box cutter and stabbed Milton as other family members tried to stop the altercation outside the house.

Sheriff deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and police officers from the Hurlock Police Department responded to the scene for assistance.

The investigation continues…

How To Solve The Healthcare Conundrum: "Make 'Them' Pay"

Over the last decade there’s been no other subject more debated and central to people’s lives, than the current healthcare debacle making its way through the economy. Since the inception of what is colloquially known as Obamacare, the entire complex that was once the envy of the world seems to now be circling around the edge of some giant sinkhole before it renders itself to the forces of gravity, and finally descends into the abyss, taking everything with it in some horrifying sucking sound.

If you try to garner any information on how to solve this current debacle (and people like to gloss over this very point) from any of the so-called “smart crowd.” All one gets are mumbo-jumbo filled constructs about why the issue is so difficult to fix and more. It’s moved beyond resembling any sense of intellectual type arguing. Now – it’s pure emotional screaming, crying, and incoherent mumblings making kindergarden look scholarly in comparison. It’s beyond pathetic. Yes – on both sides.

I don’t get into politics and I’ve always stated: “You should not know which side of the political aisle I stand on if I’m making my arguments correctly.” Today is no different, for this isn’t about politics per se – this is about business, especially small business, the life blood of America , its economy, as well as the nations main employer. And the current draconian measures being thrust upon them gets little to no attention via the main stream press is not only appalling – it’s damn near criminal.

Conservatives and libertarians have suspected for decades that many of the people on welfare are actually mooching off of the system. So to reconcile the need to help people who are helpless with the very really problem of people abusing the system, they’ve come up with a great compromise.

In regards to food stamps, they’ve suggested that we offer food assistance on the condition that the recipients are working. Or at the very least, that they volunteer or community service or are making an effort to train themselves for a new job. So what happens in states that have work requirements for food stamp recipients?

Alabama began 2017 by requiring able-bodied adults without children in 13 counties to either find a job or participate in work training as a condition for continuing to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

According to AL.com, the number of those recipients declined from 5,538 to 831 between Jan. 1 and the beginning of May – an 85 percent drop.

Similar changes were implemented in select counties in Georgia and by the end of the first three months, the number of adults receiving benefits in three participating counties dropped 58 percent, according to the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently reported that in 21 additional counties that restored the work requirement, there was a 62 percent drop in SNAP participants.

Of course many leftists will try to shoot holes in this data, by suggesting that perhaps many of these people were working unofficial jobs that paid under the table. Because of that, they were already doing the best they could, and the government cut off their benefits when they couldn’t prove that they were working. The only problem with that assumption, is that we know exactly what happens to people who have to choose between getting cut off from food stamps, and finding a job. Statistics show that they choose to find a job, and their incomes go up drastically. They really weren’t working in the first place.

OCPD Enlists Help From Outside Agencies For Weekend’s Unsanctioned Event

OCEAN CITY — It remains to be seen if an unsanctioned “College Beach Weekend” event scheduled for this weekend passes quietly without any major incidents, but the town and its police department and allied agencies certainly appear to be prepared.

In June, the Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) issued a warning about an unsanctioned event planned for this weekend that will likely bring thousands of unruly college-age visitors to the resort, reminiscent of a similar unsanctioned and unannounced event during the same time period last summer. The College Beach Weekend event is being promoted on various social media platforms encouraging participants to come to Ocean City on those dates for a variety of planned activities.

This time around, however, the OCPD and its allied law enforcement agencies from across the Lower Shore have been carefully planning for the unsanctioned event’s arrival and are taking steps to ensure against a repeat of last July’s high-profile incidents. In an open letter to the citizens of Ocean City, OCPD Chief Ross Buzzuro last week advised residents and visitors the department has been meticulously planning for this weekend’s unsanctioned event.

ICE chief readies national sanctuary city crackdown

Empowered by a president who has "taken the handcuffs off of law enforcement," the nation's chief immigration official revealed Tuesday that deportation targets have surged and that he's planning to deploy more agents and resources to "sanctuary cities" to arrest illegal criminals.

Thomas D. Homan, acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said in an interview that since Trump entered office, illegal border crossings have crashed by almost 70 percent, "an historic low," arrests inside the country have jumped 40 percent and that demands for illegal criminals in local jails has skyrocketed 80 percent.

"You can like President Trump, not like him, like his policies, not like his policies, but one thing no one can argue with is the effect they've had," said Homan, the former chief ICE enforcement boss and a 30-year immigration agency veteran.

One group he says are cheering: Border Patrol and ICE agents. "Now they have meaning to their jobs," said Homan. "What this president has done is taken the handcuffs off of law enforcement officers who are charged with enforcing immigration laws," he added.

The drop in illegal crossings has given ICE a chance to redirect resources to interior United States and immigrants locked up in jails, illegally working jobs and on the run.

A key target is the 300-plus sanctuary cities and counties that do not cooperate with ICE and ignore requests that they detail criminal illegals for ICE arrest and deportation proceedings.

After Stalling for Months, Wasserman Schultz to Cooperate With Investigators on IT Probe

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.) is expected to finally allow U.S. Capitol Police to access her laptop to investigate a cyber security case connected to several House Democrats' IT contractors.

After months of apparent stonewalling, the former chair of the Democratic National Committee is going to cooperate with investigators looking into a case involving allegations of computer theft, over-billing, and email hacking, Fox News reported Wednesday.

Capitol Police is investigating whether at least five IT contractors who worked for dozens of House Democrats, including Wasserman Schultz, took hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of computer equipment and potentially hacked into the lawmakers' email accounts.

Wasserman Schultz is not suspected of wrongdoing, but for months she stopped law enforcement from accessing her laptop as part of the probe. It is unclear why the Florida congresswoman battled with law enforcement over the computer until this week, when her counsel began negotiating with Capitol Police regarding the probe.

Former George W. Bush Admin Economic Director: CBO Is ‘Part of the Swamp’

Larry Lindsey, the first director of the National Economic Council under former President George W. Bush, defended his judgement that the Congressional Budget Office is "part of the swamp" on CNBC on Tuesday.

During the discussion on health care, Lindsey rebuked the CBO for being "consistently wrong" with its budget estimates, RealClearPolitics reported Wednesday.

Lindsey, an economist, is known for his controversial stance on the Iraq war budget in 2002. He shot down top Bush administration officials who estimated that the Iraq War would cost about $50 billion to $60 billion. Lindsey said the war could cost between $100 billion and $200 billion and was dismissed from the administration after a shake-up of the White House economic team later that year. The $200 billion estimate was later surpassed.

During the CNBC discussion with Donald Marron Jr., a former acting director of the CBO, Lindsey castigated the CBO for doing a "lousy job" of making estimates, particularly when it comes to health care reform.

"One of the biggest stumbling blocks, and I think this is the point that I sent you earlier, that we have a Congressional Budget Office that is really doing a lousy job of estimating things, particularly on health care reform," Lindsey said.

Cummings: Voter Fraud Panel Should Probe Voter Suppression

After calling for Kris Kobach's resignation from President Donald Trump's voter fraud commission Wednesday, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., tweeted the true reason for the panel was to "suppress the vote."

Police: MD woman illegally collected $66k in government handouts

OLNEY, Md. (ABC7) – She claimed to be a destitute single mother of four children, but police allege it was an illegal ruse used to collect tens of thousands of dollars in government handouts.

Sharon Douglas, 40, of Olney, is now facing criminal charges of theft between $10,000 and $100,000, theft scheme between $10,000 and $100,000 and knowingly making a false statement to collect housing assistance.

According to Montgomery County Police, Douglas knowingly submitted inaccurate paperwork to the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County in 2014.

Based on that application, Douglas received a housing subsidy of $1727 per month between May of 2014 and May of 2017, totaling $66,439. All of the funds, investigators say, came directly from finite taxpayer coffers.

An Islamic “charity” recently convicted of acting as a front group for the regime in Iran has financed and installed Iran-friendly professors and curriculums at 44 universities across North America – and 41 of those schools are located in the United States.

In late June, a New York jury ruled that the Alavi Foundation is directly linked to the Iranian regime, allowing the feds to seize the Manhattan building that provided revenue for the organization’s nationwide influence operations. Prosecutors called the conviction the “largest terrorism-related civil forfeiture in United States history.”

Alavi used a multi-pronged approach to embed itself into American society. From financing pro-Tehran Shiite cultural centers and mosques to donating heavily to the infamous Clinton Foundation, the regime-connected outfit sought to win over hearts and minds in its clandestine efforts.

A primary focus of the foundation continues to be installing Iran-friendly professors and curriculums into American universities. Over the past few years, the Alavi Foundation has increased its college and university financing efforts by about 50 percent.

“I’m not leaving that show behind, so much as expanding my voice and telling new stories,” she said.

Mass. Poll: Liz Warren Loses — Even Among Democrats! — to GOP Governor

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, who might be weighing a 2020 presidential bid, is more disliked than her state's Republican governor — even among Democrats! A new poll found Warren more divisive among members of her own party than a Republican.

According to a new WBUR poll of small central Massachusetts towns that voted for President Trump, a vast majority of Democrats viewed Warren as favorable (76 percent), while slightly fewer Democrats had a similar impression of Governor Charlie Baker (71 percent). But more Democrats had a more unfavorable impression of Warren (19 percent) than of Baker (12 percent).

Worse, Warren only enjoyed a 5-point advantage over Baker — among members of her own party — but she suffered a 7-point disadvantage when it comes to unfavorability.

By contrast, the Republican Baker is actually more popular among Democrats (71 percent) than Republicans (65 percent). Not surprisingly, Warren is deeply unpopular on the other side of the aisle. A mere 8 percent of Republicans viewed her favorably, while a whopping 83 percent said they had an "unfavorable" impression of the Senator.

NAACP Lawsuit Against Trump Voter Commission Centers Around Alleged Racism

A lawsuit filed by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) against President Donald Trump and his newly launched voter fraud commission in part centers around the argument that the commission is racist.

The lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, argues that Trump has neither the constitutional nor statutory authority to create a new "executive organ for the purpose of launching an investigation that targets individuals or groups of people" and adds that it is an "unauthorized Presidential action."

Trump, the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, the voter commission, Vice President Mike Pence, who chairs the commission, and Kris Kobach, the secretary of state of Kansas and the vice-chair of the commission, are listed as defendants on the suit.

"Both before and since his election, President Trump has made repeated statements alleging that there is widespread voter fraud throughout the United States, including the false claim that he lost the popular vote because of 3 to 5 million ‘illegal' votes for former Secretary Hillary Clinton," the suit states.

"The President and his surrogates have also repeatedly described voter fraud in language suggesting that voters of color are more likely to commit voter fraud than white voters, using racially-coded language linking voter fraud to predominantly-minority urban communities and to ‘illegals,'" according to the suit.

Rosenstein says 'yes, I do' stand by call to fire Comey

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, in an exclusive interview with Fox News that aired Wednesday night, stood by his recommendation that President Trump fire then-FBI Director James Comey and his hiring of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to oversee the Bureau’s investigation into Russian activities during last year’s election.

"I’ve testified several times about this and yes, I do," Rosenstein told "The Story with Martha MacCallum" when asked if he stood by his now-famous memo recommending Comey’s dismissal.

In the May 9 memo, Rosenstein said that Comey "was wrong to usurp the Attorney General’s authority" on July 5, 2016, when Comey announced that he would not recommend that Hillary Clinton be prosecuted for alleged offenses related to the presence of classified information on her personal email server.

"At most, [Comey] should have said the FBI had completed its investigation and presented its findings to federal prosecutors," Rosenstein wrote at the time. "The FBI Director is never empowered to supplant federal prosecutors and assume command of the Justice Department."

"There’s a principle in the Department of Justice," Rosenstein told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, "that when we are investigating people, we do it confidentially."
