Huma: Hillary Flouted Protocol, Used Burn Bags To Destroy Documents Prohibited By Federal Regs

Abedin also admitted to being “aware of [her] obligation not to delete federal records or destroy federal records.”

Huma Abedin, a top aide to presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, says that the former secretary of state routinely used burn bags to dispose of personal documents during her time at the State Department.

Abedin’s revelation came when she was deposed by watchdog group Judicial Watch on June 30.

“If there was a schedule that was created, that was her Secretary of State daily schedule, and a copy of that was then put in the burn bag, then that certainly happened,” Abedin stated. “On more than one occasion.”

Abedin also admitted to being “aware of [her] obligation not to delete federal records or destroy federal records.”

The State Department has clear regulations pertaining to the use of “burn bags,” and while government officials are directed to use them to dispose of both “paper” and “hardrives,” the government strictly prohibits several items — including “personal documents” — from being destroyed in burn bags.

Subject: Benghazi Hero Paronto Initiates Campaign Against Radical Islam

Former U.S. Army Ranger Kris “Tanto” Paronto, one the CIA security contractors who helped fight off jihadists during the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, spoke to Breitbart News Saturday about combating radical Islam as chairman of the Leading from the Front advocacy campaign, which is organized by the American Legacy Center.

The primary goal of radical Islamic terrorism is “the destruction of Western values” and “the destruction of Christianity…and anybody else that doesn’t believe in Sharia law and doesn’t adhere to Sharia law and the Quran and how terrorists [believe] it should be interpreted,” he told Breitbart News Saturday host Matt Boyle.

“If you cannot say what it is [radical Islamic terrorism] , you cannot fully grasp what it entails and what it can do to you and you can’t defeat it,” he added, referring to President Barack Obama.

Pipe Crossings Require Short Detours; US 113 Dualization in Worcester County Proceeding on Schedule

The first of four overnight closures of US 113 (Worcester Highway) near Newark in Worcester County will begin Monday, July 25, weather permitting. The closures, between Langmaid Road and Basket Switch Road, will take place over a three-week period and are necessary for crews to safely install new stormwater management pipes that range from 42 to72 inches in diameter. Detours will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. during which time crews will excavate, remove existing pipe and structures, install new storm drain pipe, backfill and patch the roadway.

Three of the pipes will be installed just south of Langmaid Road; drivers can detour using Langmaid Road and Newark Road (1.1 miles). A fourth pipe will be installed just north of Basket Switch Road; drivers can detour using Basket Switch Road and Newark Road (1 mile). The nights when work occurs may vary depending on weather and site conditions. Crews from the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will post detour signs and place message boards on US 113 to alert motorists of each closure. Drivers can access local roads throughout each closure.

Additional US 113 pipe crossings will be necessary through the summer and SHA will alert the public via message boards and posts on SHA’s project web page.

Black Lives Matter leader boycotts Cleveland protest, says liberal activists hijacking movement

CLEVELAND — A Black Lives Matter group here is boycotting a demonstration Monday by dozens of activist groups outside the Republican National Convention, balking at how the activists are exploiting police shootings of black men to increase their political power.

Jeff Mixon, president of Black Lives Matter in Cuyahoga County and a member of the county Democratic Party Executive Committee, said the group Organize Ohio was trying to hijack the movement.

“They talk about uniting to end poverty but what they are really interested in is solidifying their political power to advance their agenda,” Mr. Mixon told The Washington Times.

Mr. Mixon blamed black voters for allowing the Democratic Party and its allies take their votes for granted, which he said propitiates the imbalance in the justice system.

He characterized a Donald Trump presidency as “unthinkable.”

In addition to supporting the globalist agenda in regard to trade and immigration, Paulson favors Clinton because he believes she will slash Medicare and Social Security.

From Monica To Loretta - The Clintons Corrupt Absolutely

She can’t help herself. Even yesterday, with the political world fixated on her meeting with FBI agentsHillary Clinton had her flack mislead the public.
A spokesman said she gave a “voluntary” interview, which is true only because she agreed to talk instead of waiting to be subpoenaed. The flack also said she was “pleased” to assist the gumshoes.
Who believes she was “pleased” to be interviewed by the FBI in a criminal investigation that could upend her life?
But that’s the way the Clintons roll.
Wherever they go, whatever they do, ethics are trashed and suspicions of criminal conduct follow them like night follows day.
It’s who they are and it’s self-delusional to believe another stint in the White House would make the Clintons better people. Power exacerbates rather than cures an absence of integrity.
Yet there’s another dimension to their chronic crookedness, and it gets insufficient attention even though it might be more important to the nation’s well-being.
It is that, in addition to being personally corrupt, the Clintons are corrupters. They are piggish users, with the people and institutions around them inevitably tarnished and sometimes destroyed even as the Clintons escape to their next scam.
Monica Lewinsky is a prime example, and Loretta Lynch is the latest. The attorney general’s dumbfounding decision to meet privately with Bill Clinton while the FBI investigates Hillary’s handling of national secrets stained Lynch’s reputation and added to public mistrust of the Justice Department.
Lynch didn’t create that mistrust — she was supposed to be the antidote. Her predecessor, Eric Holder, was a left-wing activist who used his role as the nation’s chief law-enforcement officer to further his and Obama’s political agenda.
That role earned Holder an undesired distinction. His refusal to cooperate with Congress on the disastrous Fast and Furious gun sting led to a bipartisan vote in the House holding him in criminal contempt, the first time in history a sitting Cabinet member ever faced such a censure.
Lynch, as his successor, was handily confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate, with her steady, firm demeanor and solid record as a prosecutor carrying the day.

COAST GUARD RESCUES 1 IN ISLE OF WIGHT BAY NEAR OCEAN CITY, MD.

BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard rescued one person from the water in Isle of Wight Bay in Ocean City, Maryland, Monday.

A Coast Guard crew aboard a 24-foot Special Purpose Craft-Shallow Water was transiting through Isle Of Wight Bay near the Route 50 bridge when they came upon two people in the water who had fallen from a jet ski.

One person was safely recovered from the water into the 24-foot SPC-SW, and the other person safely swam to shore.

Both jet skiers were wearing life jackets. No injuries were reported.

Why the World Is Rebelling Against ‘Experts’

Its expressions range from Brexit to the Trump phenomena and includes neo-nationalist and unconventional insurgent movement around the world. It shares no single leader, party or ideology. Its very incoherence, combined with the blindness of its elite opposition, has made it hard for the established parties across what’s left of the democratic world to contain it.

What holds the rebels together is a single idea: the rejection of the neo-liberal crony capitalist order that has arisen since the fall of the Soviet Union. For two decades, this new ruling class could boast of great successes: rising living standards, limited warfare, rapid technological change and an optimism about the future spread of liberal democracy. Now, that’s all fading or failing.

Living standards are stagnating, vicious wars raging, poverty-stricken migrants pouring across borders and class chasms growing. Amidst this, the crony capitalists and their bureaucratic allies have only grown more arrogant and demanding. But the failures of those who occupy what Lenin called “the commanding heights” are obvious to most of the citizens on whose behalf they claim to speak and act.

St. Mary’s Co. Sheriff under fire for spending on questionable K-9 airport 'bomb' training

Leonardtown, Md. (ABC7) — A local sheriff is coming under fire after two of his K-9 teams recently went all the way to Canada for airport bomb training – even though his county, St. Mary’s, doesn't have a commercial airport.

In mid-May, the K-9 teams, traveled 630 miles to Montreal for what the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office hailed on its website as "Prestigious Airport Explosive Detection Training" - where they learned to scan "airport terminals, passenger airlines and baggage systems."

The dogs trained on some of the largest most sophisticated airliners in the world. They also learned from a master K-9 trainer on how to keep commercial airline passengers safe - even though the St. Mary's County Regional Airport has never sold a ticket.

The county’s stylish terminal was built 15 years ago for $3.1 million state tax payer bucks. The thought was it would support commercial flights. But never has.

The Rise Of Hillary Clinton - Survival Of The Morally Unfittest?

Does Hillary Clinton possess the integrity and honesty to be president of the United States? Or are those quaint and irrelevant considerations in electing a head of state in 21st-century America?

These are the questions put on the table by the report from FBI Director James Comey on what his agents unearthed in their criminal investigation of the Clinton email scandal.

Clinton dodged an FBI recommendation that she be indicted for gross negligence in handling U.S. security secrets, a recommendation that would have aborted her campaign. But Director Comey dynamited the defense she has been offering the country.

Comey all but declared that Clinton lied when she said she had State Department approval for the email server in her home.

He all but declared that she lied when she said she had only one server, and that no classified or secret material was transmitted. He also implied that she lied when she said she had used only one device and had turned over all of her work-related emails to State. The FBI found “several thousand” more.

Clinton said her emails were stored in a secure area. This, too, was false. Hostile actors and hostile regimes, said Comey, had access to email systems of those with whom she communicated.

Comey said he found no criminal “intent” in what Clinton did.

BREAKING: Megyn Kelly Blows Fox Sex Scandal Wide Open

As the Gretchen Carlson/Roger Ailes sex scandal has marched on, Fox News personalities have lined up, with Neil Cavuto, Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hannity all taking the side of Roger Ailes. Fox anchor Brett Baier offered a cautious defense of Ailes, while conservative columnist and frequent Fox guest Ann Coulter implied that Carlson's lawsuit affirmed rumors she'd heard for years about Ailes.

Silent in all this has been Megyn Kelly, Fox's rising star and highest rated host. It appears that now we know why:

As a chorus of prominent Fox News women have gone public defending Roger Ailes against the wave of sexual-harassment allegations sparked by former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson’s lawsuit, the network’s biggest star, Megyn Kelly, has been conspicuously silent. Kelly’s refusal to join in Ailes’s orchestrated defense has led to speculation about why.

Now we have the answer. According to two sources briefed on parent company 21st Century Fox’s outside probe of the Fox News executive, led by New York–based law firm Paul, Weiss, Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox. Kelly, according to the sources, has described her harassment by Ailes in detail.

Kelly’s comments to investigators might explain why the Murdochs are moving so quickly to oust Ailes. As New York reported yesterday, Rupert and sons James and Lachlan, the three top executives at 21st Century Fox, have, according to multiple sources, decided that Ailes needs to be removed. Kelly, who has become something of a feminist icon thanks to her tangles with GOP nominee Donald Trump, is seen by many inside Fox as the future of the network. She’s currently in contract negotiations, and given that Bill O’Reilly has said he’s considering retirement, Fox can’t afford to lose her.

Take this all with a grain of salt. Sherman has been in pursuit of Ailes for decades now, but if Kelly refuses to come to her boss's defense, this scenario starts to make more and more sense.

Dolphin sightings delight county residents

Dolphin sightings in the Chesapeake Bay and Anne Arundel County rivers surprised boaters last week and raised the question: Does this mean water quality is improving?

Not necessarily, said Amanda Weschler, a marine mammal and sea turtle stranding coordinator for the Department of Natural Resources.

"It's actually not uncommon for this area this time of year," she said. "They migrate to our area in the warmer months, May through October."

Guess What Happened To The Chump Who Burnt A Flag On The 4th Of July

Social justice warrior Bryton Mellott thought he’d be cute and burn an American flag for the 4th of July. He posted the pictures of his “bravery” online, but the 22-year-oldWalmart employee from Savoy, Illinois wasn’t expecting his antics to backfire in a big way.

After obnoxiously setting the flag on fire and posing with it, this piece of excrement then had the audacity to post the following absurd message online to accompany the pictures, which would then set off a firestorm of controversy and make him internet famous, but not in a good way.

“I am not proud to be an American. In this moment, being proud of my country is to ignore the atrocities committed against people of color, people living in poverty, people who identify as women, and against my own queer community on a daily basis.

“I would like to one day feel a sense of pride toward my nationality again. But too little progress has been made. Too many people still suffer at the hands of politicians influenced by special interests. Too many people are still being killed and brutalized by a police force plagued with authority complexes and racism.

"America Is Broken" - The Week Anger Boiled Over

Despite the fact a somewhat deluded President Barack Obama contends that racial relations have improved during his presidency - calling this week's black, former military Dallas shooter a "demented individual who's not representative of Americans," an atmosphere of crisis is enveloping the U.S. after a traumatic week; and as TheHill.com's Niall Stanage explains so 'fair-and-balanced'ly, it has left politicians, academic experts and private citizens searching for an explanation for the anger roiling the nation.

The killing of five police officers in Dallas in a Thursday evening ambush followed hard on the heels of two instances where black men were killed in deeply contentious circumstances by law enforcement: Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minn.

As the nation was reeling from those events, there were also reports that a shooter in Tennessee who had killed one person earlier Thursday appeared to have been motivated by anger against police officers. There was panic at another rally in Portland, Ore., Thursday evening when an onlooker apparently antagonistic to protestors marching against police violence drew a weapon.

The series of events has created a sense that the social fabric is torn — one point upon which people in a deeply polarized country agree.

“America is broken,” movie director Spike Lee tweeted on Friday...

City Opens Consolidated Housing & Community Development Department Downtown

Salisbury – Mayor Jake Day is pleased to announce the opening of the Housing & Community Development Department (HCDD), the product of the merger of the City’s Neighborhood Services & Code Compliance (NSCC) and Community Development departments. This merger will provide the City’s neighborhood revitalization specialists with community development funds, and allow them to expand their available resources to enhance the quality, safety, and livability of local neighborhoods. To ensure that this mission includes everyone in our community, for the first time in the City’s history, a position has been filled within the department which focuses solely on helping Salisbury’s homeless population.

The Housing and Community Development Department’s location in the old Hess Building on 210 W. Main Street brings another key piece of City government Downtown, to the heart of Salisbury. As the NSCC and Community Development offices move to their new, combined location, staff will remain accessible to the public at the same email addresses and phone numbers they have always had.

“By consolidating these two departments, we have removed duplicative costs while removing artificial barriers within government. Under the leadership of Department Director Susan Phillips, I am confident that new resources in our efforts to comfortably house all Salisbury residents with dignity will help to reduce homelessness, improve access to affordable housing, and improve neighborhood integrity,” said the Mayor.

“Riding Dirty” The Curious Case of Philando Castile – Falcon Heights, MN Police Shooting…

By now everyone is aware of the officer involved shooting of Philando Castile that became a viral BLM activist case as a direct result of his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds (aka Lavish Reynolds) live-streaming the aftermath from their vehicle. – BACK STORY HERE

NOTE: It is critical to remember -as you review the images and the video- optically the live stream was captured as a mirror image. Some video uploads mirror the image, it can be confusing, you have to reset your reference points. Philando Castile was driving, Diamond Reynolds was the passenger.

During the uploaded video narration Ms. Reynolds stated the police officer pulled them over for a broken tail light.

There are several aspects of the narrative as told that didn’t pass the sniff test, however, something about the “tail light” just didn’t seem to make sense. Especially when you consider it was daylight when they were pulled over; and where –in the aftermath media video– it can be noted the tail lights were operable.

Upon further evaluation something is missing. We believe we have identified a very important missing element.

Was there another reason why the police officer would pull them over?

WH Responds to Petition Seeking to Label 'Black Lives Matter' a Domestic Terrorist Organization

(CNSNews.com) - It didn't take the White House long to respond to a July 6 petition asking the Obama administration to "formally recognize Black Lives Matter as a terrorist organization.

"The White House plays no role in designating domestic terror organizations," said last week's response to the 141,444 signers of the online petition.

"The U.S. government does not generate a list of domestic terror organizations, and therefore we are not able to address the formal request of your petition. We encourage you to engage with your community in the ongoing discussion of how we can better build trust and safety in our communities.

"Thank you for your participation in the We the People platform. We'll be back in touch soon," said the response signed by "The We the People Team."

Two officer body camera videos were released by the university from the party made up of primarily African-Americans.

The first video (shown below) shows officers speaking with a group of people. One person tells the responding officers that there is fighting at the party as another tells officers that they saw someone with a baseball bat.

Great Lessons

These 12 short stories are all very good lessons, and really made me think twice about the daily happenings in our lives as we deal with others!!

1. Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper
I'm working on for my Psychology class.

When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said,

"Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile."

2. Today, I asked my mentor - a very successful business man in his
70s- what his top 3 tips are for success.

He smiled and said, "Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing."

3. Today, after a 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug.

When I tensed up, she realized I didn't recognize her.

She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, "On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of the WorldTrade Center."

4. Today, after I watched my dog get run over by a car, I sat on the side of the road holding him and crying.

And just before he died, he licked the tears off my face.

5. Today at 7AM, I woke up feeling ill, but decided I needed the money, so I went into work.

At 3PM I got laid off.

On my drive home I got a flat tire.

When I went into the trunk for the spare, it was flat too.

A man in a BMW pulled over, gave me a ride, we chatted, and then he offered me a job.

I start tomorrow.

6. Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around
my mother's hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died.

She simply said, "I feel so loved right now.

We should have gotten together like this more often."

7. Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed.

About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy.

8. Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to start recycling.

I chuckled and asked, "Why?"

She replied, "So you can help me save the planet."

I chuckled again and asked, "And why do you want to save the planet?"

Because that's where I keep all my stuff," she said.

9. Today, when I witnessed a 27-year-old breast cancer patient laughing hysterically at her 2-year-old daughter's antics, I suddenly realized that I need to stop complaining about my life and start celebrating it again.

10. Today, a boy in a wheelchair saw me desperately struggling on crutches with my broken leg and offered to carry my backpack and books for me.

He helped me all the way across campus to my class and as he was leaving he said,

"I hope you feel better soon."

11. Today, I was feeling down because the results of a biopsy came backmalignant.

When I got home, I opened an e-mail that said, "Thinking of you today.

If you need me, I'm a phone call away."

It was from a high school friend I hadn't seen in 10 years.

12. Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe.

He said he hadn't eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy.

Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating.

The first thing the man said was, "We can share it.

Why Hillary Clinton's Email Case Is Still Not Closed

Normally, when the head of the FBI under one President says something like «no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case», as the FBI reported regarding Hillary Clinton's emails, that would be the end of the matter; but Clinton actually still isn’t off the prosecutorial hook of this criminal case, unless and until she becomes President herself.

The decision as to whether or not to prosecute her on this matter is not made by the FBI Director, but by the Attorney General. The current one, Loretta Lynch, was appointed by (and holds her job at the discretion of) the man who has endorsed Ms Clinton to become his own successor: the current US President, Barack Obama. If Clinton doesn’t become the next President, the next Attorney General won’t be appointed by Clinton, and that person will then be making any decision as to whether or not to present the Clinton emails case to a grand jury; and, if an indictment results, then to present it to a trial jury.

Even the Obama appointee to be the FBI’s chief, Mr Comey, introduced his statement there, by acknowledging that «there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information». As regards his opinion that «no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case», reasonable prosecutors already have brought such cases, and they have won convictions on these cases. So, just based on that record, Mr Comey clearly lied there.

The independent journalist who goes by the pseudonym 'Tyler Durden' headlined, only a day after Mr Comey on July 5th exonerated Ms Clinton, «Meet Bryan Nishimura, Found Guilty For ‘Removal And Retention Of Classified Materials’», and that conviction was won on the same statute for which Comey as Clinton’s would-be policeman, jury, and judge, has peremptorily exonerated her (exonerated his own next boss if she becomes President). «Durden», at his famous Zero Hedge site, noted: «Here is the FBI itself, less than a year ago, charging one Bryan H. Nishimura, 50, of Folsom [California], who pleaded guilty to ‘unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials’ without malicious intent, in other words precisely what the FBI alleges Hillary did (h/t@DavidSirota)». He linked to this case. If that’s not the spitting-image of what Clinton was investigated by the FBI for, then nothing is – but Nishimura did far less of that crime than Clinton did – and yet he was sentenced «to two years of probation, a $7,500 fine, and forfeiture of personal media containing classified materials. Nishimura was further ordered to surrender any currently held security clearance and to never again seek such a clearance». As America’s President, Ms Clinton wouldn’t even qualify to receive the CIA’s daily national security brief. But, according to Mr Comey, «no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case». He simply lied.

A Viewer Writes: Corruption?

Good afternoon Joe, again thanks for great job. I wanted to see if the rumors are true that Salisbury mayor Day has really sold waterfront parcels on Wicomico river for $1 for residential and commercial development, and a tourism center downtown??

This guy is really starting to smell of corruption with his deals. With all this being done on that side of Fitzwater Street what are their plans for the other side of Fitzwater, First & Second St and Delaware Ave?

Here's where it starts to really stink council president Cannon owns all that slumlord property what kind of deal is being discussed over cocktails for the City to purchase or finance this to be developed?

Does Subsidizing Crops We're Told To Eat Less Of Fatten Us Up?

If you're a taxpayer, you're in on this system.

We — the U.S. taxpayers — help subsidize farmers by paying part of the premiums on their crop insurance. This helps ensure that farmers don't go belly up, and it also protects against food shortages.

But are there unintended consequences? For instance, do subsidies encourage the production — and perhaps overconsumption — of things that we're told to eat less of? Think high fructose corn syrup or perhaps meat produced from livestock raised on subsidized grains.

Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Emory University in Atlanta were curious. In a paper published in JAMA Internal Medicine, they point to a disconnect between the nation's agricultural policies and nutritional recommendations.

Americans are told to fill 50 percent of our plates with fruits and vegetables. But here's the contradiction, as the researchers see it: U.S. agriculture policies "focus on financing the production of corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, sorghum, dairy and livestock," the researchers write. About $170 billion was spent between 1995 and 2010 on these seven commodities and programs, according to the researchers.

This Drug-Dealing Welfare Dad Who Has TWENTY-SEVEN Children Is Going To Jail For 12 Years

Welfare has become a way of life for millions of people. A program that rewards sloth, welfare is rife with abuse and there are numerous shocking examples to indicate the depth of this abuse. One such example is a British scumbag who has 27 children but still received government help as he dealt drugs purchased with welfare money. Luckily, his days of conning the government is over as he is now in prison.

A drug dealer who lives on benefits and has 27 children will miss the birth of his next child after being jailed for 12 years.

Tony Henderson, 53, told the judge he was a ‘good Samaritan’ who supported his family by doing odd jobs for people in the community, who would give him £5 in return.

He claimed he was on benefits because he suffers from blackouts and seizures, which would stop him doing strenuous jobs such as mowing the lawn.

But the jury rejected his ‘entirely bogus story’ after hearing how police found twenty wraps of speed and crack cocaine stashed in Kinder Egg capsules in his home.

He even tried to claim they were for his drug addict girlfriend, who he was trying to wean off drugs, but officers also found cash and six phones, which detailed his deals.

New Progressive Media Lunacy: ‘Terrorist’ is a Biased Word

Off the deep end.

This is boilerplate leftist navel gazing, which they're especially prone to after terrorism attacks. Even when they're finally talking about it, they aren't really talking about it.

Here's the relevant drivel from this piece:

Some of my fellow word people, in discussing this same issue, have arrived at a less extreme conclusion than mine: Just use the T-word consistently, they say. Maybe that was once the right advice, but words and their connotations change over time with their usage, and therefore so must news organization policies.

The big problem with illegal immigrant wasn’t that reporters applied it inconsistently—the term simply became too judgmental, too toxic for neutral copy. So, in 2013, the Associated Press Stylebook dropped it.

Likewise, I think we’ve reached the same point with the T-word. Reuters—a less influential force in American journalism style than the AP—agrees with me.

There you have it, we are simply not using the word "terrorist" consistently!

Video shows people swimming in Baltimore Inner Harbor waters

Ships, cigarette butts, trash, human waste and even dead bodies have been known to float through Baltimore's Inner Harbor waters, but this month, some brave souls and apparent tourists decided to willingly dive in.

A Youtube video posted on July 14 shows at least 15 people jumping in and taking dips in the harbor as many Baltimoreans look on, many of them with their phones out filming and screaming in disgust.

"They're from Chicago," said one onlooker. "They don't know no better."

Randallstown resident Jamone McKenzie, 20, captured the video and posted it under his Youtube username "Milksquad Psycho" with the caption, "These guys decided to think jumping in the inner harbor water was fun, but little do they know that the water is crawling with diseases!!!!!"

Muslim Profiling Isn't Illegal, Unconstitutional, or Un-American

When Donald Trump first proposed that the immigration of Muslims be halted temporarily, many suggested — perhaps almost reflexively — that any such move would be illegal.

More recently, when he suggested that being a Muslim might be a factor in decisions affecting national security and protection from terrorism, it was widely suggested — perhaps in some cases by people who think that anything new and different which they oppose must be unconstitutional — that any such policy would violate the U.S. Constitution.

Finally, some have seemingly gone further, and suggested that either policy — or, indeed, any policy which considers religion as a factor — is somehow un-American.

Obama Vindicates 8 Years Of Foreign Policy Critics

Two recent foreign policy announcements from the White House signal possible vindication for critics of current Middle East policy.

First, on July 6, President Barack Obama announced he would keep 8,400 troops in Afghanistan past the end of his presidency. Then, he announced on July 11 that he would send 560 additional troops to Iraq, adopting a strategy of U.S. engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan his critics have been advocating since he took office in 2008.

“This period of unprecedented chaos coincides with a period of unprecedented U.S. disengagement in the region,” former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and Afghanistan Ryan Crocker told Ozy on June 23.

Prosecutors of officers accused in Freddie Gray death face pressure for disbarment

Legal analysts ripped Baltimore prosecutors Monday over their handling of the Freddie Gray case, saying the prosecution should drop all charges against the three remaining police officers or risk more embarrassment in the courtroom.

What’s more, John Banzhaf, an activist law professor at George Washington University, said he would file a complaint Tuesday with the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission calling for the disbarment of the lead prosecutors in the trials of the six police officers accused of wrongdoing in the 2015 arrest and death of the 25-year-old black man.

The pointed criticism came Monday after Lt. Brian Rice was acquitted of all charges for his role in Gray’s arrest and death. The lieutenant was the highest-ranking of the accused officers, and his full acquittal was the third consecutive loss for prosecutors. Another trial ended in a hung jury in December, and a retrial has been scheduled.

Arr, Matey.. Calling Trump a ‘pirate’ catches on with Republicans

The official theme of the 2016 Republican National Convention is “Make America Great Again,” but the unofficial mascot might be Captain Jack Sparrow.

Supporters of Donald Trump are embracing former House speaker Newt Gingrich’s comment last week that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is “like a pirate.”

Trump convention manager Paul Manafort said Sunday that one goal of this week’s nominating event is to help voters get to know better Mr. Trump, including his resemblance to ocean-faring swashbucklers.

“They haven’t seen him up close and personal,” said Mr. Manafort on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “They have a perspective of the man, but this convention is going to focus on the whole pirate personality.”

Mr. Gingrich on Sunday said the comparison is appropriate because, “Pirates are folks who are outside the regular order who get things done, who are colorful.”

Muslim radicals poised to exploit U.S. racial tensions

Black nationalists, Nation of Islam influenced Dallas cop killer

While there is no evidence of formal affiliation, the suspect in the Dallas sniper attack considered himself a black nationalist, and he showed affinity for the religious group most closely associated with the Black Power movement that arose in the 1960s, the Nation of Islam.

Micah Xavier Johnson, a 25 year-old Army reservist who had served a tour of duty in Afghanistan, was photographed wearing a dashiki and holding up his right fist clenched in the Black Power salute. On his Facebook page, Johnson liked pages related to Elijah Muhammad, the Nation of Islam’s deceased founder. And he liked the Black Riders Liberation Party, the New Black Panther Party and the African American Defense League.

Sen. Jeff Sessions Slams Hillary Clinton’s Foreign Student Plan, Would Hurt American Grads

Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton’s plan to “staple” a green card to the diplomas of foreign students graduating with masters and PhDs in the Science, Technology, Education, and Mathematics fields would hurt the job prospects and wages of American graduates already struggling in a glutted labor market, according to Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL).

“Although there are more college graduates in the U.S. today than at any point in our history, many have trouble finding meaningful work in their field of study. Many are underemployed, taking jobs well below their skill level simply to make ends meet,” Sessions, a policy adviser to Clinton’s presumptive Republican opponent Donald Trump, said in a statement. He noted that among STEM graduates some 74 percent are already not working in STEM fields.

Clinton unveiled her plan to keep America on the vanguard of technology and innovation on Tuesday. If elected president, part of her plan includes a promise to “‘staple’ a green card to STEM masters and PhDs from accredited institutions—enabling international students who complete degrees in these fields to move to green card status,” allowing foreign students to stay and work in the U.S. as lawful permanent residents.

Felons In Louisiana Suing State For Voting Rights

Voice of the Ex-Offender (VOTE) and 8 individuals filed a class action voting rights challenge for 70,000 people in Louisiana saying they are illegally prohibited from voting.* The VOTE suit charges that the Louisiana legislature wrongfully and unconstitutionally passed a law disallowing people convicted of felonies from voting if they are on probation or parole.

VOTE’s suit points out that the Louisiana Constitution only prohibits people who are “under an order of imprisonment” from voting and that this was intended only to prohibit people actually in prison or escapees from voting. The VOTE suit further notes that the Louisiana state constitutional convention voted down an attempt to restrict voting for people on probation.

The class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of the 70,000 people in Louisiana who are probation or parole. The US Department of Justice reports over 41,000 people in Louisiana are on probation and over 27,000 are on parole.

It was filed in Baton Rouge and names the State of Louisiana, the Governor and the Secretary of State as defendants.

Mika Brzezinski: Everything Seems 'Concocted' to Protect Hillary

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Mika Brzezinski discussed the latest developments in the FBI’s investigation into presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state.

Brzezinski noted an interview Clinton conducted with NBC over the weekend, which they only allowed her to be interviewed for five minutes. That gave off an appearance that everything was “very concocted” to protect Clinton.

“That is like everything here,” Brzezinski said. “Everything seems very concocted to protect her. And boy would I like her to be doing well right now. But Mark Halperin, tell me what you see in this. Are they trying to move this along? Are they trying to get this over with? Are they trying to even coordinate it and control it? Even everything – we know Clinton is meeting with Loretta Lynch in private, or all of a sudden meeting with the FBI on a Saturday morning, Fourth of July weekend for three-and-a-half hours. Did they ask for it? Are they trying to move it along? What do we know? And how are we supposed to assume everything is above board here?”

Nice: Neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama Mention 'Islam'

Neither former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton nor President Barack Obama mentioned “Islam” or “radical Islam” in their responses to the Nice terror attack on Thursday.

A statement released by Clinton on Twitter referred to “terrorism” but not “radical Islam.”

Clinton called into The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News on Thursday evening — a rare foray by the presumptive Democratic nominee.

She mentioned “this is a war against these terrorist groups, these radical jihadist groups,” but did not ascribe the attacks directly to “Islam” or “radical Islam.”

For many months, Clinton refused to acknowledge the role of radical Islam in terror. In a November presidential primary debate, held in the immediate aftermath of the Paris terror attacks, she declined to say “radical Islam” because she said doing so would be “painting with too broad a brush.”

On Twitter, she said at the time that Muslims “have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism,” refusing to distinguish between Muslims in general and radical Muslims in particular.
